I ended up buying a Wacom Bamboo Fun medium. It's drawing area is smaller than my previous tablet and will probably take some time getting used to but hopefully (I really hope so) this tablet will prove better and more reliable than its pedecesors. Considering what I've heard about Wacom, my hopes will hopefulle not be in wain.

First pic up:
I have a Sakura pic lying on the computer that is almost done and that I hope to finish soon after recieving the new tablet. It's a xxxHolic inspired pic and only needs some more coloring and small touches. It's a trade pic depicting Sakura as a geisha/maiko/oiran/tayuu (mixture) and I can't for the life of me remember who the trade was with (it's been a while). I remember that I requested a pic portraying Sakura performing genjutsu in return. If that person reads this give a shout.

I have many more partly done pics that will come next. In periods when I'm not overwhelmed my all the pensum that I have to read...

Do you guys have any suggestions for good ones? I've heard some people recommend the brand Wacom, is that a good one? Would any of you recommend any particular tablet.

The reason for the pause in updates have been that I've been studying for an exam that I finished today (note the angel chorus in the background) so now I actually have some time (a pause) to do stuff I want before I have to finish two semester assignements at the end of May and start of July.

Just recently I found an old burned CD with some of my old digital photos that I've been looking for and thought I'd accedentaly deleted. Amongst these photoes there are a lot of awsome animal photoes (snowleopards, owls, wolverines ect) from a big Swedish ZOO named Nordens Ark (The Northern Ark). I'm going to go though them this week and post some of my favorites.

I've also finaly gotten a newer version of Photoshop, up until now I've been using version 6.0 and 7.0 -_-; . I'm now planning on using some time reading instructions, tutorials ect. learing tricks and how to use this Photoshop version properly. This means that there might take some time before I have some new non-photo pics/drawings up. In the meantime enjoy the photoes and hopefully my drawing and photoshopskills will improve and the wait will be worth it.

The problem is that the laptop seems to missenterpret the distance which I move the pen. My tablet is about 30x23cm/9x12inches, and should represent the whole screen, however when I move my pen about 2cm/less than an inch it moves across the whole screen.

This makes drawing pretty much impossible.

I've already installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the two available Vista versions of the tablet drivers that I downloaded from the Trust site(not on the same time) but the problems just reoccurs. I cant find a way to adjust it either. If anyone knows how to solve this problem or have advice it would be great if you left a comment.

Also does anyone know how you make it impossible for others to download pics from the gallery. I used to be able to do it before but with the new DeviantArt versions everything has changed and I don't know how to do it anymore I now got a problem with people stealing pics and posting them claiming them as their own and had to start adding annoying watermarks. If I learn how to stop downloading I'll remove the watermarks.

Also I've started considering selling commissions (When I'm done with my current projects). However I don't know much about how such deals are arranged and what the common prizes are. If anyone know more about it orwhere to read about it info would be much appriciated. Also would anyone be interested in buying commisions from me?

I have decided to make one change that really will speed up the process. The new episodes will be in black and white, just black linework on white background.

The reason for this is actually that my own sett standards for coloring lately has been drasticly heightened. At the time when I started making the series I was an complete noobie at coloring at Photoshop (on computers in general) my only former experience was Paint, so I was familliar with the pencil and the paint bucket, but conceps such as layers and pixel resolution was far beyond me. I finished all the linework by hand, scanned it, put in the text filled in color with the paint bucket and was done.

Then I started getting more familiar with and my formermethod was no longer good enough.I started reedoing linework worrying about shading and lightning and ect and that made each episode seem like a huge task and the process slowed down and in the end pretty much stopped.

However now I will only make the linework (now mostly directly on the computer, so less cleaning) and the text before I post it. And since it's the coloring/shading that has been taking much time this means faster updates!

I will most likely later post copmplete colored versions of the different chapters but that will be at a much slower pace.

So the next comming episode will be the missing episode 7 "Weeds". Then I will continue to Episode 10 and further. At this moment I actually have 10+ more episodes (not including 7) plotted out and in warying degrees of completeness.

I can't promise anything, but I will try to have episode 7 done by the next couple of days.

Feel free to comment on this developement or ask me questions this weekend and I'll answer as best I can.

Also I logged in today for the first time in awhile today in a sleep deprived fog and saw several messages saying something about someone writing about me in a blog and had a WTF moment and stupid as I was at that moment went to investigate. Then It seemed like Deviantart suddenly had logged me out so (Still stupid) tried to logg myself in and nothing happened. Then (To late) I got an Oh Shit! thought. I read several messages and found out that someone is using these messages to steal your login information and I changed my password as fast as humanly possible (Hopefully fast enough).

If anybody recives any spam from me then please tell me because that means that I've been hacked and I'll try to fix it (Somehow). To everyone else if you get messages asking you to check out a link. DO NOT DO IT, mark it as spam. If it is to late for you as it was for me then change your password as soon as possible and mark the messages as spam. Well... I have to admitt that I havent gotten around updating either galleries or even visiting them since July. It's been a really busy time. I've moved from home and started College, and just finished my first semester.

On top of that with all the changes and stress my love for drawing sort of just fizzled out. I worked on some pics now and then, but never got much done.

Then at one point in order to get a break I started reading some fanfic to cher me up and maybe revive my muse. Then one day I stumbled upon a update of a fic I recognised. It turned out to be a new revised version of one of my long time favorite fics. "Suiren" And it did the trick. I'm now back to drawing again.

In order to show my appriciation the first thing I started making was a pic to honor this awesome story. It has ended up being my biggest and most advanced pic yet.So far I'm almost done with the linework and base coloring and it's looking good so far. This pic is my main focus right now and will most likely be my first new pic. I had first hoped to finish it before xmas but it seems more likely that it'll take longer since I will be away from my computer between 17dec and 3jan. So it'll most likely be done during january.

If You want to read the Eimii's awesome story "Suiren" click on the link [link] . The rating is T (teens, 13years+). While it may seem at first glance like a yuri fic it's not. 13 long chapters so far. It's one of the funniest, most realistic and most well written fics I've ever read. It's a Sakura centric story, so if you dislike Sakura it's probably not a story for you. For those who like Sakura, you'll love it.

I'm rooting for a new chapter.

The idea is that I pic out certain female characters(my favorites/main girl) from different manga/anime/book/cartoon/comic series. Then you come up with non-canon/rare/crazy/weird pairings for this characters and the pairing that gets the most votes I will make a pic of. Like this earlier pic [link]

In other words I'll most likely be hiteaus(?) for about a week, since I'm unsure about the Internett conection.

TABLET
As you maybe know or do not know, I bought a tablet about a year ago. After I bought it, I got as far as to use it to make the little Deidara pic before the pen went missing... -_-' When I later found the pen, it was laying in my brother's penal. When I then tried it again it was broken. I got my granfather to try and fix it, but to no use but to no use and my little brother has yet to confess that he broke it, so no help there.

However I eventually got over it and I now bought a new one . This one has a bigger areal (and was more expensive -_-' ), and I tried it for the first time. In the beginning after I had choosen the language during installing, it for some reason continued on what I'm pretty sure was Spanish. So I sat there and was like... crap. Of all the laguages the stupid thing could have chosed. I understand Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, some German and hell even a little Icelandic, but Spanish!! After trying several times to get it to change laguage and it promply declining, I thought watever and continued. After that it went back to a language I understand and the rest went smoothly.

Then I messed a little around with it before I started to color a pic. Even though just started on getting used to it, I think I'm falling in love . You'll see the result later .

INTRO: For those who doesn't know it, Akatsuki Petal is a series of doujinshi's (fan-comic) I make. The main character is Sakura Haruno (from the age of about four and up), the story takes place in a parallel universe and it begins with Sakura being 'adopted' by the Akatsuki (a little younger than in the manga).

The doujinshis consists of small short stories or episodes as I call it, which lasts from everything from 1 page to about 7 pages.

In between finishing these episodes there will be other pics and doujinshi's.

CHARACTERS: The characters are sometimes in characters, othertimes very out of characters. For example Sakura herself have a much stronger personality than in the real manga and Inner-Sakura will shine through a lot. She will switch between being cute/mishivious/innocent (spelling?) and a power hungry/sugar high/psycho/troublemaker.

TIMELINE:Alltrough the shortstories can be a little jumpy, it all follows a timeline, and the characters (mainly Sakura) will age and grow metally and psycially. As you will soon see, she's getting a little taller and her hair is growing. Through comments you can be a part og deciding her development and new episodes.

PAIRINGS: There whon't really be any pairing, at least not untill the character get a lot older (if I ever get that far) and the age diffrence between some of the character is just to big. HOWEVER: There will be a lot of cute and mayor fluff scenes between some character, but nothing that needs a warning. If you want any particular pairing, request it and maby I'll make a pic or doujinhi with it.

!!!!!!HELP WANTED!!!!!!
I don't really know how to really use any coloring program, and I don't know anyone who can do it for me. And since I have neighter the skills/knowledge, the time, the friends who can or the urge to do it, comming episodes will be inn black-white
UNLESS of course someone who has what is needed to do the job is interested. I would preffer to post the finished product on my gallery, but the one who does it will of course get the credit for coloring, an icon/link under each finished pic, a lot of thanks and a cookie .
If anyone is interrested please leave a comment, note or simmilar so we can discuss the details (if several is interested, I will pic one and make journal that states who's got the the job.

Good news:
I've got enough money for Chrismas to buy my own scanner so I can begin to scann pictures again soon. I bought some splitt-penns in Italy that I'm goin to try. Two of them are featherpenns almost as if taken out of a Harry Potter book .
I'm going to start another gallery with my orginal pics and photoes.

Bad news: There is something wrong with my mothers digital camera, whitch I've been borrowing sometimes.
(And ofcourse she blames me and I've been prohibbet from ever borrowing it again .)

My brain still hurts

Anyway while studying math and German gramar, my brain (very creative, yet with a capasaty of a floppydisk ) decided that enough was enough and send me into a creative overdrive (I think it's a defensive mechanism).....

The end result was that I didn't get done half of what I hoped , but have began doing the linework for Akatsuki Flower 5-9 and some other drawing. (You better Appreciate this ).

Other news:
From the 21th to the 31th of December I'll be spending the Chrismas with some American relatives who recently moved to Italy (I've met them once before and never been to Italy before.)
I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm currently working on a doujinshi for Niomi-chan's contest.
I'm done with scetching and half finished with the linework and I think I'll call it "Long time no see" and the plot has a lot more of my weird humor. I'll finish it as soon as possible, but with a Tentamen and possibly a Exam coming up it may take a while.
