So in my last journal I had told you guys about my pet rat Twilight and her growth under her neck. Well I decided to get her the test to find out what the growth was two weeks ago. I had the vet test both the little lump on her back (that’s been around since September) and the large growth under her neck. Two hundred twenty dollars and three days later I got her results. The small lump on her back is a benign tumor (non-cancerous), but the oddest thing was the result of the large mass:

Unknown.

Lucky for me the vet offered that he would re-test the large lump again with no charge. So I set up an appointment to have the test taken again. I picked her up after school again, waited two days, and got the phone call. The large mass under her neck is:

Unknown.

They would have to take a biopsy in order to find out what it is, open her up and take a sample. The vet said he would remove the mass for one hundred dollars (which really isn’t bad) and the biopsy would be another one hundred thirty. I’m thinking I should just get it removed. I mean I would like to know what it is, but I can’t keep emptying my wallet. I hope the complete total will not reach over two hundred.

Hopefully everything will work out.

Other then that, everything is pretty good. I’m actually almost done with college stuff, just need to fill out three more applications and send my scores out. I have been accepted into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I would LOVE to go there, but paying for it would be quite a hassle, my parents really don’t make too much money. Maybe with enough scholarships I could go.

I have never realized how much work goes into those little showcases until I had mine. It’s actually a really interesting gallery, many questions where asked, many comments given, and quite a bit of “eww… rats.” As we all know I am a huge rat lover so my entire showcase was rat themed and on opening day what’s not better to bring then a real rat! That’s right, I brought my rattie Twilight into school for my opening (of course after school silly). She didn’t like all the attention, for she constantly hid in my hoddie, but everyone loved her (except for Mr. Kelly. Ops, sorry about the chair!) Over all I think my showcase had a great turnout, a good 30 people showed up for it’s unveiling, and many curious people trying to sneak a peak before opening day.

My grades this quarter are AMAZING. We’re running off a new system that includes + and – . Over all I got five A+’s, one A, one A- and one B.

The Bad:
I have gotten, pretty much, nowhere with college applications. I wish I knew what I was doing so I could get it over with.

Twilight has developed a 2.5cm lump under her neck, I went to see the vet today, that’s what is going to lead this into The Ugly.

The Ugly:
As I mentioned, Twilight, my year and four-month-old rat, has developed a large lump under her neck. I went to the vet, prepared for the worst. I did get emotional when the vet told me that he thinks the growth is a tumor, but he can’t be 100% sure without blood work (that could cost me up to $200), although she is overall a healthy individual. So I plan on having my parents return some of Christmas gifts (Rock Band 2) in order to help me pay off the blood work that I would like to have done for her (so I could know what the hell the growth is) and afterwards decide weather or not surgery is her best option. Sadly, she is almost at the half way mark of a rat’s life span, so surgery may not be the greatest option for her.

I will do everything I can to make sure she lives as long as she can, she is my child.

On Saturday we were to go to a haunted house/gallery but John's car got egged on the way there (human assholes), so after washing his car we wound up buying a big rubber ball and playing with it in the Borders parking lot, we had such a great time~! Well Sunday i went pumpkin picking with my family, played sick from work and wound up napping. It was a lot better weekend then I thought it would be.

Btw. [link] My friends have permission to shoot me nao. *runs and hides in corner* Mandar already ran off with my 9 t-shirt. And now I can rant! YEAH RANTING! So the first day was pretty good, we got there around 3 o’clock on Thursday, all we really did was unpack, introduce people to my rats (they came with us, that made me so happy) and I worked on a Ap Art project and had these delicious shrimp and vegetable dumplings. Friday I got a full body Swedish massage and omg it felt so good. First off this place that I got the massage smells great, with rose petals scattered around and perfect lighting. I can’t even explain how amazing the massage felt, I totally want another one. After that my mom and I walked around the town a bit, then walked on the beach where it was wayyyyy to bright to take pictures. The weather was absolutely amazing.

Later that day we had the company dinner, a fancy-pants four course meal (couldn’t even finish two of em’ ) where the head of the company says how great they are and how the vacation isn’t just for the workers but for their families too. I met up with Joe, Vincent, and Nick (sons of people who work for the company) and got into out tilapia cancer-fish conversation (as we always do XD). So after the three hours at the dinner we all made a bonfire on the beach where Vincent played acoustic for everyone. I was a tiny bit secluded after the dinner, one I was freezing and two I (oddly enough) had the urge to draw. So I drew some stuff in the sand with my fingers, reminded me of finger painting, except less messy. About twenty minutes after I finished three (half-drunk) people from the company stepped on it and were all like “OOHHH~! CROP CIRCLES!”, I wanted to laugh at them (for being retards) but I wound up watching ashes from the fire pop. After the bonfire the three boys and I headed back to the motel and watched American Pie, and god damn it feels weird when you’re the only girl in the room watching that movie, and I may never be able to eat apple pie ever again.

Saturday my parents, brother and I walked around town a bit, we stopped by a pancake house; I was way too full from the night before to even eat anything, so I just had a cup of hot chocolate and strawberries. Then I don’t remember what happened mid-day, blah blah blah. I went and played mini-golf with my parents (my brother didn’t want to go), blah blah blah. At around 6 the company had a slide show presentation (and holy crap they got the worst possible picture of me) and later Joe, Vin, Nick, my brother and two other people watched American Pie 2. Afterwards we just went to bed cause we were so tired. Oh~! And I forgot to mention! Before the presentation I went down to the beach for a bit and I found this little black golf ball-sized wild rodent with a short skinny tail, I had no idea what the eff it was, but it let me pet it and it was sooooo cute! It even squeaked when you poked it!

So that’s pretty much all that happened this weekend, other then the great rat moments, (Twilight playing in the sand with a crab shell on her head, and Evening freaking out when she touched the sand) and the occasional stupidity of drawing on the blacktop with glow stick fluid, lol.

I think I’ll take a quick nap or something before I write my college letter rough draft. I am so pooped from the weekend. Hope everyone that went to Anime Fest had a good time!

We pretty much hung out and played on the Wii. I was exhausted but had a good time. I got a bunch of money to go twoards my new computer (Macbook Pro), I ordered it yesterday. ^.^

On my actual birthday I had to go to work. I was in a crappy mood (so was everyone else at work) but lucky for me I was able to leave at a decent time. After work Billy was to take me out to dinner, it took a half hour to get in contact with him cause’ I had the wrong number >.<, but eventually he picked me up. We decided to go to Applebee’s, it was a good dinner (and I didn’t have to pay a cent ^.^) and I even got a free dessert without the entire Applebee’s staff singing to be! After dinner we hung out at Mandarr’s with Ama. We played Pokemon Stadium 2 and Pokemon Snap (XXX, lol, Jk).

So I had my first day of school today. It was pretty good, I have nice (I think) teachers and good classes and I was even able to fill up one of my study halls so I could take more art classes. I even found out my grade for my Advanced Placement Art Exam. It took forever to get this and I GOT A 4! FUCK YES! That made me so happy.

-9/09/09 Update-
I saw the movie '9' today. It was quite amazing, there was so much deatail and amazing machinery work (I love those kind of things) and incredible animation. The begining was kinda iffy but the middle and ending made up for it. If you get the time go and see it, i just warn you it's really LOUD and short.

I woke up this morning by the squealing of Twilight and Evening, my rats, this morning, They were fighting over something, I didn’t know what. I went to take a look at them, you know, say good morning and stuff, and went to pet Twilight who bit me. Twilight has never bitten me before, she has always been so kind to everyone. She seems to be in a very grumpy mood, hiding in the straw house and being completely anti-social. I hope she’s not sick or anything. *sigh*

Twilight got better, she just had a bathroom problem and now shes back to normal. ^.^

It took us long hours of arguing to figure out what train we were going to take, but in the end it all worked out. When we got to the city we went to Nintendo World. There was stuff I liked there, but everything I would have wanted either didn’t come in the right size or had a ridiculous price. So I wound up getting another Joelton figure that I didn’t own (cause they didn’t have Leafeon or Glaceon figures to complete my Eevee collection T.T). Did I mention nobody a like Luigi!

After the Nintendo Store we started heading to Books Kinokuniya. We were quite hungry and it took us a while to find it, but we eventually got there. First thing I saw walking in was a New York Anime Feast poster with Soul Eater (I wanted to take it). Now that I’m absolutely sure that Afest is going to have a Soul Eater event then I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go (I still have to beg my father about it, my mom says I can go for one day). Anyway I got books 1 and 2 of the Soul Eater manga (so now I have the first three in Japanese) and I got the Soul Eater: official fan book 3 (extended edition). I would have gotten fan book 2 (cause’ I have the first one) but we ran a bit sort on time.

We had a quick dinner (I had a really good pasta pizza slice, god damn it was so good) and then Billy (who epically broke a bathroom door handle) and I walked around the block until everyone else finished. Then we headed for the concert.

At the concert we attempted to get better seats, we almost had them till the ticket lady checked our tickets, but whatever, we still had decent seats even though they were kinda far. Now I’m really not a fan of Green Day but the concert was quite amazing and funny too. They had people in the audience play on their guitars and drum set for a song and some little kid shot the audience with a water gun and Billie Joe Armstrong (I almost said Gerald Way, lol) shot T-Shirts out of a cannon to the audience and even gave away one of the guitairs they were using. Billy was enjoying the concert until he started feeling I’ll, but eventually he felt better and started being himself again (the two of us even waved our DS’s, instead of cell phones when the time came).

When the concert ended (later then we thought it would) we ran around looking for ice cream places at a quarter past midnight. We didn’t find one, but we settled for McDonalds (I haven’t been there in ages) and then had to power walk back to the station to catch the train back home. The funniest thing happened, Billy goes to open up his cheeseburger (he order a cheeseburger with only cheese) and guess what he got. A hamburger bun with a slice of cheese on it! It was so hilarious with him going “WTF is this!?) So on the train ride home we played “Guess that Pokémon,” like the children we are for a few minutes. Overall I had a great time.

The only bad thing that happened was when I got home. I found Oki , my parrot fish dead. Later on during the day Okami, my oscar fish, also died. So I had to completely empty the tank. I originally planned on getting a bunch of variations of these [link] I have had a few before in the past, but I feel like going for something different. I’m thinking going with the salt water Dwarf Lionfish, a smaller version of this [link] From what I’ve read so far, they are solitary fish and my tank is the right size of them. And the cool thing about the dwarf one is they come in different colors than normal lionfish. I have found a pet store close by me that sells them every once in a while, so after I completely re-filter and prepare the tank I’ll wait a week or so before getting one, unless I change my mind. I can’t believe that my parents are okay with me getting a lionfish so long as a do some research cause they are poisonous.

Anyway, I hope everyone else is enjoying their summer!

Thursday I had a little get-together with a bunch of my friends, it was great. We played some bocce, ultimate frisbee, ate a lot of food (it was all gone), played a little brawl (or at least I played very little. It was great, but then tragedy struck! I went back upstairs to play Mario Kart Wii (which I borrowed from Scott) when I saw Twilight my rat was glowing. At first I thought it was odd lighting bouncing off the walls, but somehow a broken glow stick got into the rat cage and Twilight and the bedding were glowing. And of course I panicked and I started calling people who were at my house while washing the rats and cleaning out the cage. I was so worried that something would happen to my Twilight that I fell asleep next to the cage while making sure nothing happened to them. I apologize if I really made people upset by yelling at them over the phone when that was happening.

So Twilight is fine, and so is Evening (who miraculously didn’t have too much glow stick liquid on her (except around her face, I think she may have bit it open)). I’m so happy their okay.

Now goes back to staring at page 25 of Chapter 63. He’s so pretty *-*

At first I was a bit iffy about going to the beach, considering I burn easily and my self confidence issues, but once we got there I felt great. We all killed Billy in the water and threw this shark thing Ama had (and you had to say NOM NOMNOM NOM while you throw it, lol), found some funky rocks and had peanut butter jelly taco things… whatever you want to call it. Lol, and we tried to get the Umineko’s (seagull’s) over so Kim could touch them. We kinda failed at that.

So after the beach we went to Billy’s house (I love his cheetah cat). We played 8-player Mario Party and we all wound up failing against the computer player team (and lol, that slap you gave me after getting that dark star hurt, Kim). Scott came over and Billy’s father then made burgers while we played Brawl (and I actually got somewhere in it!) and after that I left cause my mom didn’t want me out too late (plus I was tired and had to put my room back together after a ant invasion).

When I got home I put my room back together and played Pokemon Snap to find out what was the last Pokemon I missed to complete the game. And after two hours of trying to figure I out I found it. A freaken’ Goldeen! And I completed the game with a picture of its ass. ^.^

OHH~! And I brutally killed a poisonous Brown Recluse Spider! I already heard about two people who have been in the hospital for the past few months cause of its bite.

I got burned!

Friday we got there pretty late cause of traffic. The AC wasn’t working so all of us in the car were sweating our asses off. When we got there I was waiting for Kim with my Death the Kid costume, so it was my fault I missed the dealers room. On top of that my ticket wasn’t listed anywhere so I had a good half hour or so looking for Scott cause’ they needed him to confirm my ticket or something. Pretty much after I got my costume I just walked around with people, found a bunch of Soul Eater cosplayer’s, , and some other people. We really didn’t do anything on Friday, it was a total waste of money. (oh shit. It is thundering… or not) And then the audio for the skit was corrupted.

Saturday was okay. I was Death the Kid for the first half of the day. The panel was fun ( Scott, , , and I ran it). I would want to help out with a panel again. I got into the dealers room and only really got to browse, but I found the “Best of Soul Eater” CD/DVD set so I was excited about that. After that everything pretty much went down hill. It was way to stressful to go through with the skit cause the original audio was lost. Honestly I think we really shouldn’t have done the skit because we had to switch a few roles and also a good amount of us didn’t hear the new audio. I finally found a decent video of the skit. It wasn’t all too bad but it could have been much better. And having to deal with everyone yelling at each other was a total pain in the ass. Btw. The skit is here: [link] you’re just gong to have to register with the sight first. It’s the Pokemon skit (I was Jolteon). And I missed all the panels and events I wanted to go to.

I honestly have to say that Sunday, the day full of almost nothing was the best, even though, as always, arguments broke out. I actually was able to look through the dealers room and buy stuff (Soul Eater t-shirt, Shinigami skull pin, Soul Eater wallet, candy.) and we pretty much stayed there until we were kicked out cause it was closing. Later to kill some time we went to the artist gallery (I got a Jolteon key chain there and a print with all the Eevee forms on it and chibi kid keychain). We left and actually had a nice time in the car ride back. We had a assortment of Japanese candy, Scott fell asleep, corny jokes were made (XD), I beat a mission in Soul Eater DS, so yeah over all Sunday was the best.

Overall I didn’t enjoy my weekend. I learned that I will NEVER do a skit again unless it is with a small, corporative group of people, and I had also learned to never fend off zombies with a hot glue gun (btw, the zombie blood did come off my Jolteon costume). I also learned that I am not to allow Scott to purchase my ticket cause’ he keeps messing it up.

FRIDAY
Obviously I had school before Icon, the day at school went by pretty quickly so it wasn’t so bad. Immediately after school, (Jen) and I got a ride to Icon by my mom. The weather just seemed like it was just going to drizzle all day, but it made a turn for the worst before we even got to the Con. It started to pour with thunder and lightening, and you could barely see three feet in front of the car while driving. Luckily by the time we got there the rain started to lighten up a bit and waited inside the one of the Brentwood Campus buildings were we eventually met up with Justin and Aidi-chan. About a half hour later (Ama), Scott (her boyfriend), Whales (John) and Jess showed up.
As soon as people started lining up outside, where there was a misty rain, and a bit chilly (considering I had shorts on) we went outside and waited about a hour or so to get our tickets. None of us cosplayed that day until we turned around and saw (Cara) dressed as Shinigami-sama from Soul Eater. With some difficulty we were able to get our tickets (Scott didn’t put down our full names when he bought the tickets) and head inside the building where the dealer’s room is. I swear once we got into the dealer’s room we started buying things. I got (within the first half hour) one of the Soul Eater Trading Arts Figures (Vol. 2) of Death the Kidd, a Soul Eater Shinigami necklace, a Soul Eater: Monotone Princess cell strap with the laughing sun on it (I put it on my DS). We walked around for a while when then a World Ends With You shirt caught my eye, but I saw a more epic shirt that I purchased ([link] ). It was the most hilarious shirt I saw there. I also bought a grey fox hat that day.
Later on we decided to go to some panels (which were in the Marriot Hotel). Justin and I took the shuttle bus to get there, and omg was the ride hilarious. I wish I got it on film but, I got the entire bus to sing the original Pokemon theme song, it was great. When we got to the Marriot Justin and I met up with Scott, Ama, John, Jen, Jess and Aidi at a hilarious “queers in anime” panel. I had to lie to get in (considering it was an 18+ panel, pretty much I said I turned 18 last month and didn’t have my (non-existent) drivers license on me. Luckily I was able to share a half a burger with Ama. After that Scott wanted to go to a “Games We Love to Hate” panel where the hosts of it never showed up, so Scott started the panel with Ama and I co-hosting until my mom came to pick Ama, Jen and I. They slept over my house, well, kinda slept, the rats kept Jen up all night.

SATURDAY
Saturday morning my mom drove Ama, Jen and I to meet everyone at Moreene’e Kitchen for breakfast. I have to say, it was hilarious how no one at the restaurant knew what I-con was even though it’s been around for over 25 years. After waiting a while for everyone to show up, we eventually had about 15 people ready to eat. Ama (as Sasori from Naruto) Scott (as Sasuke in the Akatsuki cloak), Justin (as Giricco from Soul Eater), three other Akatsuki cloak people, an Allan Walker, Jen in a pretty dress, Aidi, Jess, myself (as Death the Kidd) and my mom.
After breakfast we all went to the Con where Aidi-chan painted the three stripes in my hair. While waiting for everyone else to show up I was almost hugged to death (literally) by someone in a pink komodo. I then ran into a group of Soul Eater cosplayers consisting of two Steins, a causal Kidd, Medusa, Maka, and Soul. Soul, the one Stein and I hung out a lot during the Con, we even later ran into a mini Maka and Shinigami. We all started to dance together for a good 15 minutes or so, pretty much until the Dealer’s room closed ([link]). One: My store (Hot Topic) was shut down by a fire marshal. (That day was hell.) So the fire alarms went off in just our store and we had to evacuate the store. While we were waiting outside the store, some lady had a stroke in the food court, so we had to wait while the fully decked out (oxygen tanks, axes, masks) firemen helped her out until the ambulance picked her up. Later on employees were allowed to go back into the store but we weren’t able to open up until the fire marshal said it was okay, but instead he hit us with threats. The assistant manager was threatened with arrest because of a box (seriously, this fire marshal had a stick up his ass), we had to empty out the storage room and stuff everything into boxes. Luckily we were able to open up late Monday and made an amazing amount of money. Lucky us.

Two: FINISHED MY DEATH THE KIDD SKATEBOARD! Still working on the jacket. On top of that Kidd finally made a appearance in the latest chapter (damn book of Eibon)

Three: Anime Club field trip. I was amazed that everything worked out okay, Scott did an amazing job on organizing it all. We went to the Japan Society’s KRAZY! an anime exhibit. It was pretty awesome, the tour lady talked too much, I would have rather walked around and explored myself. And lol, Mind Game, I am totally purchasing that anime.

Four: I forgot…

Five: Evening (my newer rat) is now FAT. She must have grown overnight.

Six: My design for the St. James train trestle won, so my design will be painted enormously on the trestle during the summer. Its going to be so amazing (I hope).

Seven: My camera died (surprised It lasted a year, it was crap) so I got myself a new epic camera. It’s the newest model of the Cannon Power Shot, 12.1 megapixels, HD video, fifty thousand settings and more epicness.

Eight: I am ruthless with toy swords. Lol, it was so much fun, though I’m a little too consistent, only using left and right swings, I can block pretty good though. When Scott and I were fighting each other the one sword flew into 3 separate pieces. It will be easy to fix with some super glue, so I owe him some. Later Jess, Whales, Scott, Billy and I epicly failed at finding a bowling ally that we could go to, so we got buy one get one free sundaes. Afterwards we went to Borders then Target (where I bought my first pack of Pokemon cards in years). And Scott has epic skills at picking out Pokemon card packs with good cards, I gots a Diagla in mine! After that we looked at the epic King Kullen (cause we are losers) and got Pokemon stickers out of the sticker machine.

And yes, I made that Eight for a reason. Bed time. Don’t want to fall asleep on the bus again and almost miss school. ^.^

And on top of all that, both my rats are getting along now! I had them spend the nights in the same cage and the days in separate ones when I wasn’t home. A few days ago I had them stay together all day and all night without supervision and now they curl up with each other! It’s so cute. I just gave them baths, Evening looked like a naked rat when she was all wet. Now they are all puffy.

So I separated them in their own cages and brought Evening downstairs (in her box) and Twilight on my shoulder. Twilight, being a bit jealous, decides it would be fun to run off and hide in the couch cushions. I normally don’t have a problem with it when the couch has its cover on, but it didn’t, so Twilight squirmed her way into the couch armrest and hid in there and wouldn’t come out. It took a good 20 minutes to get her out of there, even after flipping the couch upside-down.

So Twilight and Evening are in separate cages next to each other until Twilight figures out that Evening is here to stay.

Ohhh~! And I got my hair cut again! No more little pony-tail! ^.^

On a lighter note, I will be getting my second rat around valentines. I was able to get to the pet store to see if any babies would be available. Surprisingly the albino mother had babies recently and would be ready for adoption in a week or so. As I was talking to one of the owners about Twilight (my current rat) I was petting her mother’s last litter of male rats. They were all huddled on top of each other and a lot bigger then twilight is now, it was like rat football. Then I started petting Twilight’s father, who nipped my finger, he didn’t seem too happy, so I went back and petted the others. I also found out what the Kidd fish was actually called! It’s a Green Terror [link] I have seen them with more defined blue stripes on its head but I was glad to figure out the name of it. I would have bought him but he was way too small compared to my Oscar fish.

Midterms/Regions are coming and that means more failure time for me! I have a bad feeling about it, but I think I’ll do well on the English regions cause my teacher is making us write a crazy amount of essays *ready to rip teachers head off* but I guess it’s for the best. If I do extremely well then I won’t have to take the regions again.

Otherwise, I’m trying to bug my parents to allow me to get a second rat. My rattie Twilight needs a buddy, especially when I’m out this much. I’m hoping I can get one before Twitwi turns one (she is 7 months now).

And now I’ll rant about my amazing time in the city! So I went to NYC yesterday to go see Cirque Du Soleil’s Wintuk, but before seeing the show my mom and I walked around the city. First we walked, or passed, to Nintendo World. The store looked amazing when you first walked in, but after walking around the place once it wasn’t too exciting. I spent about 80 dollars there on:
-NDS Game: Kirby Super Star Ultra
-Wii Points Card (I got Mario Kart 64, Classic Mario Bros., and ‘My Aquarium’ with it)
-Pokemon Eevee figure
-Pokemon Flareon Figure
-Pokemon Vaporegon Figure
-Pokemon Espeon Figure
-“Know Your Mushrooms” sticker
They had the epic World Ends With You DSlite also, but it wasn’t for sale T.T

Walking back towards Penn Station, my mom and I spotted a large book store called “Books Kinokuniya.” It was the most EPIC book store EVER! The entire second floor was full with authentic Japanese manga! AND YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE IT! I got to the second floor and everywhere I turned there was Soul Eater merchandise! I spent such a long time in there, but unfortunely, due to lack of money, I was only able to get a few things:
-Soul Eater Official Fan Book
-Guide Book to How to make a Deathscythe
-Tommy Heavenly’s Soul Eater single “ Papermoon ”
I would have bought all the Japanese manga of Soul Eater if I had a extra hundred on me, but it was still epic!
So after we went to the most epic book store ever, my mom and I started searching for restaurants, eventually we gave up and ate at Penn Station’s Fridays. It wasn’t bad except for the snotty rich 12 year old boy, his mother, and I swear his 20 year old girlfriend, that was sitting at the adjacent to us. They were so rude to everyone who passed. After we ate mom and I hunted out the Wamu Theater were Cirque Du Soleil’s Wintuk was going to be shown. We found it and decided to go to the Borders close by because we were too early to see the show. I was able to find a calendar in Borders; it’s another FullMetal Alchemist one.

By the time we got out of there we were able to get into the theater. I was surprised to find that our seats were in a nice location too, the only problem with the seats were that we were directly behind the handicap section. Wintuk was amazing! I loved the use of neon colors and the soundtrack was epic. The tricks were epic too, I couldn’t believe some of the stuff these people were able to do! And at the end they have paper snowflakes fall from the ceiling all over the audience! My mom and I were covered with the snowflakes when we were walking back to the train home. Overall the experience was amazing and I hope I could go back again next year, especially if I can go to that epic book store!

Yeah so right now I have pain in my chest and coughing fits, I been coughing since Christmas Eve. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like its going away any time soon. -_- So yeah, I’m sitting in bed taking a ton of quizilla and like omg! MAKE UP YOUR MIND! AM I MORE LIKE KIDD OR STEIN! The score is tied 4:4… pick one already… Anyway back to my overall health, I sound like a freaking seal when I cough, other then that I managed to get a bruise on my forehead which just seems odd.

Tomorrow my ratty and I are going to travel to a few pet stores, hopefully she behaves and stays on my shoulder like she normally does. And along with the various amounts of pet supplies that I would like, I am also going to buy 5 goldfish (the cheep kind). I’m going to put them in a bowl, feed them, and wait… for the first one to choke. Okay I do understand that sounds cruel to do to a 10 cent fish, but art needs sacrifices. Then I am buying a honey jar (shaped as a bear) and sticking the dead fish in it. And yes… that will be my art project. I’ll explain it all when it’s finished.
Friday, the second, I’m going to the city to see Cirque du Soleil’s Wintuk. I wanted to see this for such along time and I’m finally going to see it! And wow it took forever to get the tickets correctly, we got them, then we lost them due to demand, then we got different seats, then we got the ones we had beforehand back, and for what I know they are amazing seats. My mom and I are going in my train, then going to Nintendo World (where she owes me a pokemon plush), then lunch, then to the show. Who knows, maybe we’ll have dinner too. I just hope everything works out the way we are planning it.

Wow, I should be reading for English not thinking of how I’m going to stick a damned fish into a honey jar!

So Christmas is already over, it seemed to come by so fast. And OMFG I got Tetris DS!!!!! And lawls its like from Russia so the packaging was so much different then the American DS cases. I also got 100 dollars worth of Ebay Gift Cards, clothing (cause every Christmas is uncomplete with new clothes), an iPod radio/alarm clock thing, 100 dollar Petco card, Wall-e DVD, and lots of candy! I got someother stuff too, I just can't remember what it was, I'm really tired now. And what makes me happy is that everyone enjoyed the gifts I gave them. ^^ Ohhhh~! Did I mention what I'm getting from Ebay so far?

So you know how I had that ear infection were my ear canal was so swollen that they had to stick a sponge in my ear so medication could get into it? Well last Tuesday I had the sponge taken out (after an entire week of not hearing anything) and my ear was feeling great, no pain, nothing. Thursday came and my ear started killing me again! So Friday I was out of school cause’ I had to go back to the doctor. Turns out the infection came back and the doctor had to stick another sponge in my ear! This one is not coming out until this Friday and hopefully my ear is all cured by then.

Work has been crazy. So many people are coming into the store buying billions of holiday gifts. My feet are in extreme pain for being on my feet for so long. At least there is only a week left of being this busy.

Yesterday, Sunday, my dad’s side of the family and I went out to ‘hunt’ down a Christmas tree. It was pretty muddy in the fields, but we managed to find a fat tree. After purchasing the tree we all went out to eat at J&R’s Steak House. When we got our meal my grandfather got a call on his cell, a close friend of theirs (considered an aunt to me) had a heart attack. I didn’t get to hear all the details for I only had one ear to hear out of. My grandparents then left and only my parents, brother, cousin and her friend were left. We had dessert and then left.

And today I am once again home sick because I was vomiting all last night, so today I’m going to work on the endless amount of AP Art work that I have due before the holidays… and if I have time finish my Christmas cards.

Thanksgiving came. I finally finished the wood burning project for my uncle (I was burning a scorpion into a wood box (took me 11 months)) and then got ready to go over my grandparents house for Thanksgiving. I’m not a Thanksgiving person so I really didn’t eat too much, just corn, a slice of bread, and some carrots. After eating we all played Wii Sports, then dessert, then went home, because of the ‘dreaded’ Black Friday.

I had to go into work at 7 am today, Black Friday. I was expecting a huge crowed at the mall… It was nothing. It wasn’t even that busy. There was a few swarms here and there, I caught a thief (in a way, it wasn’t proven yet), found 10 bucks on the floor, and was let out early. I’m still falling asleep though, and its only 8:08.

I got to the semi-semi finals playing as Mr.GameAndWatch, I lost against one of the winners. For the Team tourney I paired up with Scott’s brother, we did well in the beginning, but lost a bit too early. Luckly we were able to sell all the food and drinks and managed to make 500 dollars. A good amount of that money is going to be donated to animal shelters. Save the puppies! We ended the tournament before 7pm so we had time to clean up and get everyone out with no problem. So over all I think the tourney came out pretty well.
Anyways I’m going to sleep now.

So this is the third annual weekend at Montauk with my fathers’ company. They rent out almost an entire motel across from the ocean and we stay and hang out. Everyone who works with the company brings their family out for the vacation. The company owns an enormous grill (you can literally cook three or so humans on it, XD) and hired a chef for the time out there. By the way, the chef was amazing. He made the most astounding melt-in-your-mouth steak, it was to die for. I had never had a steak that good in my life. The weather wasn’t so great though, it rained most of the time so the grass was muddy, luckily the company also rented out a huge tent outside so there would be a dry place to sit.

On Thursday, almost immediately from getting home from school, we left for Montauk. It was about a two hour drive, I was busy pre-stringing glow sticks so it wouldn’t be such a hassle when we had to hand them out to the kids. When we checked into the motel I grabbed my camera and walked down to the beach to take pictures. I have to develop the pictures still so they won’t be posted for a while. It was a little muggy out, not raining, just cloudy, when I was out there. It was so interesting how the sand was eroded. The waves cut out a three foot cliffy thing out of the sand, I almost fell in myself. I headed back to the motel and I was offered a small pina-collate, I kinda have a weakness for them >.< The alcohol taste bothers me but the yummy part is just… well, you know… yummy. So after that I saw Joe and Vincent (both sons of a guy who works with the company) walk past. The three of us went down to the beach and walked along the cliff thing. Joe and Vincent were looking for the traditional fishing lure that they find every year. We never found one but we had a great time. Joe got attacked buy huge waves while we were walking. The three of us walked well over two miles on the beach by the time 6:30 came around. If we walked another 50 yards we would have been in town. We climbed up the life guard stand and sat there for a good half hour while it got dark. Around 7:15 we left to walk two miles back, in the dark, to the motel. While walking back we found a kite that we flew all the way back, a shovel, and a completely buried beach chair. Joe and I couldn’t dig it out. By the time we got back to the motel one of the parents were about to leave to go look for us.

Friday was a bit of a lazy day. It was raining quite a bit so we all had to wait until the tent was set up to really go down to eat breakfast. After lunch my parents and I went into town for a bit. We found some pretty neat stuff, then dropped my mom off so she could get a Swedish massage (lucky >.< ). Joe was out in the city for the day for a TV shooting so it was pretty boring, sitting around and doing nothing. Then my sneaker/boot thing’s zipper broke so I was walking around with a broken sneaker/boot thing on one side and a completely normal one on the other (aghhh!!! It was sooooo asymmetrical! ). I wound up taking a nap for most of the day. I bought new shoes later.

On Saturday we had our fancy dinner at the restaurant contently located next door so the drinkers could get back to the hotel safely (on top of that there was a whole motel room rented out for the beer). After the meal, and dessert, Joe, Vincent, Nick (another son of someone else), walked down to the beach and did the traditional “dune jumping.” It didn’t really work out to well due to the sand being so wet from the rain. We came back to the restaurant and had more dessert. We went back to the motel, got attacked by little children to go and play with them, told them to go away and come back after we finished watching “What happens in Vegas.” We scared the crap out of a bunch of the children, then wound up playing the most laziest man-hunt ever. It was youngins VS. biggens (little kids VS. big kids) and all six of the biggens (Joe, Vincent, my brother, Nick, myself, and two other girls) were walking around eating food while looking for the youngens. We found them so it was our time to hide. We planed on running down to the beach and ‘hide’ from the yougens. So we did. We hung out on the beach, swinging around glow sticks, chasing the glow sticks in the waves, and interrupting Vincent’s phone conversations with his girlfriend.

Unfortunately, time went by too fast and this morning we all left to go home, were I watched the two episodes of soul eater that I missed! I still wish I was able to go with my anime-loving friends to the anime convention in the city. I think I’m going to have dinner now, then shower and get ready for school tomorrow. Heh. Next weekend I have the four day long gathering with my father’s company. I have no idea how I’m going handle that, I was barely able to handle it last year. I’m really not looking forward to it at all. Plus cause of it I’m not able to go to the anime convention I wanted to go to. T.T I cant be Kiddo-kun in Montauk.

I’m too unmotivated to type or do anything now… I think I’m going to take one of the longest showers I have ever had now then sleep as long as I possibly can.

I still have to scan all my Ap Art stuff. *sigh*

School is pretty much okay so far. The only problem I have is remembering witch side of the school my history room is on. I went the wrong way for the past two days. Tomorrow I have to work on my first AP Art assignment… and now I should be really reading for English… but that can wait.

So that storm on my birthday was just a bit of rain and wind. Wasn’t bad at all in my area, heard other places flooded. So for my birthday I got the two games Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness and Spore Creatures for DS. Then I got the other stuff that I mentioned in a previous journal. I’m thinking of getting a new camera with my birthday money. I just don’t know which one. I want something small with hight quality and a stabilizer.

Twilight my rat is getting a lot bigger. She’s a bit chubby now, so I’m planning to get her to exercise more then she does now. I still have to teach her to come and other tricks, I just haven’t had the time recently.

Gah… School is kind of boring. I only have two classes with friends, and I now absolutely despise the way the school set up, takes me 8 minutes to get to history from Ap art, so I’m always late to history. The teachers aren’t bad (so far), I’m bit surprised that I seem totally invisible to the teachers. How could you not notice someone sitting in a room with three horizontal stripes on one side their head?

I can’t wait to get the anime club going. I have been planning out the posters and stuff. I’m trying to aim for something not to crazy cause then my perfectionism will kick in. I also got to come up with OC for Ap Art, considering all I draw is actual characters (Death the Kiddo, Stein, etc.) I have concept ideas down but I’m still trying to develop a style to my art. Recently my strong points have been in design, with my vector arrows and geometric shapes, black and white with a single color. I think I might stick to that for a while.

Anyway I won’t be updating for a bit. A “hurricane” is going to hit in the general area where I live. I have a feeling that it’s just going to be a lot of rain and wind, that’s all. Plus Needles has my sketchbook, so I can’t scan anything new. He did say he liked my concepts.

Soul Eater chapter 52 left me on such a cliff hanger! [link] Kiddo-kun! *gets killed it process of trying to save him* Omg, I been like “what if he dies?! What if he loses an arm!? He’ll kill himself!” all day. I have to wait till September 12th to find out. T.T Now I have a sudden urge to re-draw that scene…

My brother is so ridiculously pissed off at me ‘cause I won’t draw him a picture of a nude anime girl. He doesn’t deserve it anyway, he’s been being a bastard lately (ever since his xbox has been crapping out.) Oh wait can I correct that, he’s been a bastard ever since he got a xbox. Pathedic.

Well I’m off to see if my eel will finally eat or not… Hope he’s okay… looks like a pencil ‘cause he refuses to eat squid and krill now. -_-

It feels like I really didn’t have a summer between painting my room, AP Art stuff, my job and taking care of my baby rat. Wish there was one more week until school started, *sigh* … I’m not ready. Waking up at 5:30 is going to kill me. I haven’t really slept for the past few days and have been running on caffeine, found in this delicious Oreo ice cream cake. Mmmmmm~! But now my tummy hurts…

I’m going to play with Twilight now. I feel so bad that she’s going to be left at home all day when I’m at work. I found out that she loves rice and dog food, lawls.

So my filter on my fish tank crapped out. It sprung a leak that started to flood a corner of my room. It doesn’t look like a major problem so I’m going to see if it’s still under warranty and get it fixed, now as a back up filter. I ran out to the pet store and as always something I’m looking for is discontinued, so I had to get a higher end model. It wasn’t too harsh on my wallet and it was totally worth it. This new filtration system is soooo quiet and keeps the tank extremely clean. It even shows you when its time to change the filter. After I finished cleaning up the tank I decided to clean up Twilight’s cage. I moved some of the stuff around and now she seems to like her habitat more. I even gave her a little bath, she is squeaky clean now. (lawls. Get it? Squeaky clean, she is a rat. Lawls, that was a horrible joke).

So my grandparents came over and we had a little 17th birthday party for me. I asked for Shrimp Alfredo and it was delicious, I even got my one grandmother to eat with chop sticks, for a first time she wasn’t so bad at it. So from my parents I got a drafting table, my great grandmother gave me one hundred, my grandparents got me a tampered glass dry erase board for my office (cant wait to use it), fifty from my other grandma, and another fifty from one of my aunts. On top of that my great grandmother gave me an extra hundred fifty. That’s more then enough to renew all the stuff I need to renew this month.

Now I’m dead tired. Tomorrow I’m hoping to get six more AP Art things done (totally impossible for me, damned perfectionism) before I go to work at 6pm. Hopefully I’ll wake up at a decent time.

After the doctors appointment I begged my mom to drive to the pet store. When we got there the two employees were sitting outside, no one was in the store anyway. Right away they said the rats were ready to leave their mother. He picked up a few rats to find a female rat for me (cause the males tend to smell worse) he found one and let me hold her around the store. Soon she was put in a box and brought home with me. She is a female hooded rat witch I named Twilight. Right now she is hiding under the bedding. She has a three floor cage with ladders, a log to hide under and a small Pikachu stuffed animal that I have had since I was 10 and its still in great condition. She is a bit shy of course, she is in a new home, and tends to tinkle on my hand. I found out that she really enjoys the small animal roll a round ball, she never wants to get out of it. Lawls. She is so cute and small right now. I can’t wait until I get to train her to do tricks.

Before I get the pat rat I have to finish my room up. I’m making my walk in closet an office, painting all the trim in my room black and painting black vector arrows on the walls. And for a little touch the Shinigami skull will be spray painted on one wall. Hopefully I’ll get it all done in less then a week, I’m going to start preparing for it tomorrow. I’m gonna need a lot of painters tape to pull this off… and a lot of precision. If I have enough left over money from this project then I’m installing track lights in my soon to be office and a track light in my regular room.

I also do not need any more help with the mixed media ideas now! I just finished all ten today. I’m about 30% done with all the AP art assignments. I’m aiming for over 50% complete by August 10th, so that’s about ten projects to do, two a day would be even better.

I’m also planning on making a test run of Mudkip cookies to complement my Pikachu ones. Hopefully they taste as good. Now I must fix the toilet paper.

Today was George’s (assistant manager) last day at the Hot Topic I work at T.T. He was my favorite. He’s now going to the Broadway Mall Hot Topic. I was so glad I was able to stop by today to bye. “I would have brought you a cupcake, but they sprouted legs and flew away. It’s a common thing among cupcakes now…” Lawls.

Two of my fish keep attacking each other. Orochi and Okami. A few months ago I thought that Okami took a bite out of Orochi’s head cause he had a mark. It looked like it healed, but then recently it opened up again. I took some pictures and showed an employ of Pet Land. They think it’s either an infected wound, a fungus, or “Hole In Head” syndrome. The guy gave me two medications for the fish (its so funny cause one smells like mints and one smells like pine trees) and I went to look at the rats.

I want a pet rat so badly, you can train them and everything. So I was looking at them, there was the mom and dad rat and then at least 6 or 7 baby rats. The man at the store let me hold one of the three-week old rats. It was so cute and soft. It was black and white, with long whiskers, and the cutest eyes ever. It seemed to really like me considering it pooed on my hand and then didn’t want to go back in its cage. I wanted to bring it home so badly. Of course my mom said no.

My grandma is going for aorta surgery soon, if she passes the pre-opp. A good amount of her doctors say she shouldn’t have it done. She has so many problems going on with her that she can die on the operating table. Hopefully she will be fine. She just wants to be independent again. I can totally understand that.

I am forcing myself to work on AP Art assignments tomorrow.

It has its similarities to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but I must say that Okami was so much better then Twilight Princess. I don’t even have anymore words to describe how great this game is. I really do hope they make a second one, it leaves you at the end of your seat, you just want more. I get so touched at the end of a game, Issun almost made me cry happy tears. Lawls. I am so glad I got this game! Oh and that comment I made a few hundred journals ago about Twilight Princess, I quote “I swear if you were standing on cliff and there was a cliff in front of you with a copy of the game[Twilight Princess] + wii, and it was a impossible jump to get it, just jump, you may kill yourself but getting the game is worth it.” I now change that to “I swear if you were standing on a cliff with a giant 8 headed monster about to devour you and there was a cliff behind it, which would be completely impossible to make the jump without being swallowed, eaten alive, or just dieing, just freakin’ jump. Your going kill yourself, but the game Okami is worth more then any other game in the world.”

So other then the amazingly amazing Okami, I have been planning out designs for my room. Thinking of a Soul Eater inspired idea. Vector arrows and Shinigami symbol thing spray painted on one wall. I still got to draw out the idea and make stencils (like a gazillion of them) and I promise before and after pictures (like I did last time and totally failed doing).

And… starting to work on the Advance Placement Art summer assignments… somewhat… I have two parts of assignment 3 done… that’s about 5% done… T-T

Me thinks that I will fix up my new ID, something about it is annoying me…
