Yeah, I'm just going to list some things that have been bugging me about my artwork. No it's not going about changing Arthur or doing this or doing that or about adding new characters, it's about what format they come in: Gradient Mesh or Vector.

You see, life has been getting harder and harder lately to get things accomplished. Right now I'm doing all this running around, cleaning, pampering, and who knows what else with my mom and aunt here in Oklahoma. And when I get back to California, I'm going to have to help my ailing aunt out there a lot, plus, I have to get a job so that I can actually have some money to be able to food on the table and keep a roof over everyone's head (I've been saying "to put food on the table and have a roof over it" quit a lot lately, as opposed to worrying about things that are unimportant, like what I really want, since to me eating, sleeping, and having to go to the bathroom waste time and take away from life), which means I need to start finding a more quicker, extra efficient way to get my artwork done. I wouldn't mind doing traditional drawings if my scanner wasn't so crappy (or else cheap like I always wind up getting), but digital methods can be just as quick.

The thing is though, it's becoming difficult to get things finished within my set deadlines of either Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays, when I upload things (and the website would get something on Sunday).

Gradient Mesh works that come Illustrator take at least two hours to make something, where as with Flash vector drawings, they can range from 30 minutes to about 2 hours for incredibly complicated things. I don't have a tablet (and probably will never get one), and I'm probably never going to be able to live on my own, so I need to have a bit of a final decision here from my watchers, fans, friends, and whoever; Should I just stop gradient works and focus on vectors instead? Something that I can get accomplished and at least guarantee an art piece for you within a decent time frame?

And as always, I've got 2 weeks left on my subscription; if anyone would like to give me a commission (which will be digital), I will happily accept. I'll post the info about them at the end of this journal, since after all, I have absolutely no money in my bank account(s) (yeah, my parents got me another one so that they can put me into deeper debt), and I'm probably never going to have any money for myself ever.

I know for some of you this is "emo ranting", but I am not the center of the universe, I'm just the same as everyone else. Sometimes you've got to make sacrifices in order to keep up with the times, and if it means having to make do with Flash Vector pictures, then I guess it will be that...

The commissions for helping add more to my subscription value is listed here. Please note that this are based on the price of the subscription, and that the numbers are rounded to help simplify. The rules of what can and can't be drawn are below the two prices.

$5 - 1 Month = 1 full gradient mesh or flash drawing with background in full color*.
$8 - 3 Months = 2 full gradient mesh or flash drawings with backgrounds in full color*.

*-Color is provided a la Sairain MIDI color palette, which means there may be some minor imperfections.

Note me if you want one. You can have up to five characters in one picture. Take in consideration that I do NOT do sexually explicit scenes (except hugging and kissing) and that extreme violence, gore, fetishes, and nudity are prohibited (although tasteful skimpy clothing is allowed). For best results, give me something that's anthro, easy to make into anthro, a building (for if you want building scenes), vehicles, or something from a video game I know about. Alter Egos (fursona, dragonsona, trainer, pokemnsona, whateversona), anthro Pokemon, doing things with my characters, and even yourself are welcome to be drawn.

Be sure to have any reference materials to help me out with this. Upon payment and me completing the picture, you will get the file PLUS the original hand drawn sketches for novelty value. You are allowed to display the digital file in your gallery with the rest of your work and on any other website since the Sairain MIDI logo/copyright appears within the picture, but it will not block anything important, although you can still say "done by BlackDragonAJ89 of DeviantArt" or "Arthur Macnar" (my pen name, since my last name can be confused with people). You can't display the original sketches though, since they are the scraps.
