I applied for the camera! Nikon D5000 + 4gb SDHC card, carry bag and tripodness.
all up $999 AUSD the whole lot is RRP at roughly $2100 for some of the extra gear, and im scoring it so damned cheaper! fuckin woo.
And its pay as I go so i dont need to pay a lump sum, no interest either. Working Retail has its perks.

Ive been playing around alot with the Digital SLR cameras we sell at my work before and after my ships and constantly ponder getting one for a fun, shits n giggles and hobby use. I wouldnt be into serious image shooting, I just like them for the quality of the shots. All the standard snapshot digitals are great, mainly the canons

but Im really stuck on getting an SLR, any advice?

Im after feedback on Microsofts new OS, i honestly have no problems with it myself but i wanna know from anyone any problems or questions you have about it. Or if youve used or are using is there anything youd like to tell me about it, Im after whatever feedback i can get so i can clear things up and look into problems as this will help me great when im answering questions from customers at the retail outlet i work at.
I love and enjoy it myself, and im only running the RC still, it has a few minor bits n misses, but ive seen those dissappear in the full versions.
PLease help us out here guys negative positive or neutral ill take em all.

On other notes, go watch 'The Castle' One of my all time favourite movies, i love it to bits, Obviously being aussie will help ya understand it a little better but its a great insight into what most aussies are like! and how much our culture is based form parts of this movie.

Alright i do have money, but i managed to throw some at an asian bloke at the pc fair, we both shared happy grins as he took my money and i took his pc components. Im now the happy owner of an Intel Core i7, A beauty of a motherboard made by Gigabyte and some lovely Kingston dual channel RAM.
The only thing i need now is a couple of beaut gfx cards and im sweet.
Theyll help make the difference gaming wise for me, other than that the system is lovely definitely seeing a huuuuge fuckin difference from the ol AMD Athlon i was runnin.
The best thing about it all, was that windows 7 it didnt chuck a spac finding the new gear i shoved on, ran and updated as it went, all the ol OS's seemed to go burko and need a reformat, so this OS is still suprising me. Im finding it like the Chuck Norris of Operating Systems

The Worm in the Apple

So I got to go to a special Discover Windows 7 night last night and to say the least, like a reborn again christian, im a reborn Windows lover

And that worm bit, some bloke in the audience said that, fucking orsm quote, had to shake his hand for it. lucky bastard won an Xbox 360 Black Elite console for it!
But yes Windows, a word that would make all geeks go, why Vista why, Im just going to stick with XP til i die...Well for the first time in a long time Microsoft have delivered, Windows 7 is fucking magical, its fast, smooth sleek, SEXY even. Its got cool features that are easy and fun to use not daunting and confusing. It simply just works, and thats something weve all wanted in a Microsoft OS since Win98.
Ive been so impressed using it, and from the information received from the expo night, Ive found myself saying, I don't want a Mac anymore.
Theyve produced something equivalent, no I'd say better than that fruit company, and are going to be riding that rocket of victory all the way to the heart of their competition and me the little sales guy is going to be glad and honoured to his little part in helping out

Seriously even if you hate windows Vista right now, and i know from strong oppinions form many people that it is very disliked, grab the Upgrade to Windows 7, youll find yourslef hugging your computer again, not throwing it out the window.
and just how efficient is it, you wont even need a super duper system to run it, it runs just as efficient on a single core processor, eg your ol Pentium 4, as good as it does on Dual Core or higher multi core system.

Went and saw Megadeth last night, it was fucking ORSSMMM!!!!
My watch got snapped off, i lost one of my favourite jackets, and im suffering multiple bruising inside and out, so it must have been orsm!
And seeing Dave Mustaine pull off his kickarse solos fucking kicked arse, banged my head like never before, had my shirt gain a few more sizes from being in the pit, might need a god freshening shower

Ive found Halo 3

DST to be nothing but pure orsm fun, so different playing in a marines shoes really gives it a new perspective and much more tactical thinking to the halo franchise.
and the music is just as cool, jaz beats while your walking through a night setting of a wrecked new mombasa the constant threat of brutes grunts jackals and those damned hunters always haunting you, pure orsm.

honestly guys ive been drawing like a madman almost but i just refuse to use the scanner i have, its a shitty hp and evern when using pencil it rapes my pictures to no end!
Now that ive got paid next time im at work im getin a canon lide flatbed scanner and will getting to work on the new stuff!!
i feel personally im getting better at certain things but obviously feedback really helps when im unsure on things.
I havent done any of that sonic styled universe stuff anymore because well....i just cant, i have my reasons.

Expect more Halo inspired though XD im just lvin drawin it its so fun! especially when you can make all your own little customisable little designs on things!
and expect other things as im really trying to expand my field

Im gunna try and get into more of that story writing from the Halo inspired one i wrote, gonna continue that line, i was pretty damned happy with it even if it did get little attention. See how i go, maybe i need a few drinks first and itll come to me

I and Monica recently split, it ripped me in fuckin half, but those words, they hit me square on the head. I had a great farkin experience with her, im a better man because of that young lady. Now i may not be with her anymore, but i still love her all the same, always have always will and it may not happen now or it may but i know ill find someone else like her or just as good! no one knows its all life!

But for the new piece im doin, it aint halo or anthro style, goin starcraft here, Monday me n Lord H had a madass game of Starcraft Me n Him: Protoss vs 2 PC: Zerg and we all know what Zerg are like, anywho an army each of Zealots just ravaging through a Zerg base, annihilated it! and managed to keep ourselves going til we both had a Carrier Assault group each and worked together to fuck up every other remaining Zerg base! So im giving it a go drawing a zealot because they are just so damned cool!

G'day all, how are we all in our corners of this wonderful planet?!
I know its been a while since ive uploaded anything which i guess doesnt really matter, because eventually something will be put up

But i have been rather lazy and lackluster in that objective of drawing, i have some half finished things that i dont know exactly how to apply the finishing touch too, or even have the required motivation too. The fun of drawing ay?
I guess getting the right inspiration has something to do with it, im usually more for applying the emotion i feel at the time when i draw, i.e. my last piece, i was feeling kickarse and that i could take on the world....and win

I felt i accomplished it to some degree, it has its flaws but at least i can continue on and better my skill from it! After all isnt that what we are here to do?!
And i might upload some more screenshots at some point too, ive had some rather funny and cool looking ones from my recent games of Halo.
I wish Rainbow Six Vegas 2 had that sort of system though, thered be some cool screens from that I can assure you

So ive been lucky enough to land plenty of work the last couple of weeks. Casual pay is good and all but i thought i might have had to get a second job. I must be impressing someone if i keep getting work all the time. Totally orsm, i may be able to see the love of my life even sooner.
Lately ive also been drawing alot more in pencil sure i only submitted one new piece but hey as ive learnt art cannot be rushed and im working really hard on finishin a couple of new pieces that i think are turning out really well

Also, weekends ive been converging onto xbox live alot more BlackEagleA06 of course thats me, feel free to add me and hit us up for a game and ill see what i can do.
Halo 3 and Halo Wars have been my main focus of games lately, its really interesting and great fun playin Halo from two totally different perspectives, and the story lines.....plot holes i think not

it all matches up decent enough there and it still manages to leave you wanting more knowledge.

But of course my biggest main focus is spending how ever much time I can with the one i love, sweetheart if i could devote every single second of my life to you i would without needing to think twice about it. I patiently await the day we can finally be together I love you

I roleplay alot with my love

Now usually we plan ahead on most plots and chapters and its mainly epic battles, epic scenes of loss or courage yadda yadda yadda all that kinda stuff, and we fit romance and other such things in between yippee and stuff XD
But! on the very odd occasion, in her evil little mind she likes to throw things at me that completely catch me off guard. The roleplay has bee focused heavily on quelling this large nationlike threat to the Methonian peoples of which Spence and Lunara belong too and which theybe finally defeated after a good......i cant say how long theyve been fighting them but its been a damned long time XD So they are finally able to relax and enjoy things.
Which brings me to the point of this journal, please read the following lines as they are what catch me off guard but may be normal to others who Rp.

Sooo, the last week, i had my ingrown toenail fixed and had a week off work to let it heal so i can walk again......it was so strange to me being that uber lazy again. This week.....my employer has denied me work saying they cant afford too many people on right now.....totally bogus, ill bug em again, but if not successful, i may have to look for a second job.....so not cool.
on the brighter side, i was able to get myself a new game

It literally scares the effing shite out of me, but i love it so much!
imagine some of the scariest psychological horror films, like the grudge for instance, perfect representation, mix it with a little bit of Doom, and youve got FEAR.....intense fighting and paranormal frightfest!
and imagine it in a pitchblack setting with surround sound.....thats what makes it really effective, when you an the main antagonist, Alma wade the psychotic psychic dead chick, whose still alive in a means of paranormal power, whispering at you from every angle then appearing suddenly trying to rip you to shreds....and then after that all hell breaks loose, your shooting at nothing but there are voices everywhere, you sprint past a room and suddenly some wierdass freakish thing lunges out tackles you down and you have to beat it off you, and blow it away and start pissbolting again, finally thinking your safe when BOOM door blows open and now your surrounded by soldiers of all sorts, you make it past them out to the streets and suddenly your in a fight with a giant Mech....its got everything

So a fair few hours after writing about my new dev n all, i happen to get a virus try and infect my lappie while browsing a site i frequently visit, not happy jan, AVG proceeds to warn me "Spence virus dude, id kill it but guess what.....Its attached itself to your Explorer.exe"....thankyou very fucking much, so mozilla starts spittin chips, windows starts spittin chips, im spittin chips and explorer.exe is shitting the gear on a whole new ratio.....and its one of those nasty ones that logs everything you type click and spit on, plus it takes screenshots of everything you do too...good thing I remember the ol backup yer shit and reformat your C drive! screw you geeks who think the ultimate point in life is to steal peoples personal shit, take on another geek hell just format his pc killing off your puny threat....fucker. downside, now ive got to reinstall alotta shit.....you win this battle! but the war is mine! Nothing to worry about, Im just simply venting here

Farcry 2......my god what a game, and im still only 20% finished, its so damn realistic, but so fun for it too! Your guns rust and fall apart, sure it sucks at the time but it sure is funny when you shoot a bloke and the chamber of your sniper rifle flies out from the thing! but then again not so funny when your RPG fires a dud, which hits the ground and then lights up proceeding to skid around in circles on the ground while your pissbolting to get behind a tree, all while under fire. probabl the best thing about the game is the vehicles, theres just so much fun to be had with them, especially the jeeps, driving cross country over bushes, small trees, getting airborne off cliff edges and landing in someones hut/home all while cranking Fear Factory, seriously Fear Factory + Farcry 2 = epic!

Gaming: Ahh the sweet sounds of my enemies deaths....Kill the Mutant, Burn the Heretic, Purge the Unclean! Yes its Warhammer time! A Devout follower of the emperor My duty to wipe the universe clean of heretics and aliens alike!

Fallout 3...One of those games with a particularly slow start but I greatly enjoyed it once I got stuck into it, funny listenin to fifties music while you blow your enemies head clean off his shoulders

Ive seen alotta complaints about it and I have to disagree with them.....these complaints mainly stem from the mass of gamers who like a good set out game where you have to follow a strict line of linear levels and no distancing yourself from the main 'quest' if you wish to call it so...No I find Fallout 3's oblivion-esque gameplay absolutely suited to my need to piss fart around in a game as much as possible....the first half of the game when I played through it a second time, I spent simply exploring the wastes of Wasteland Washington.....and laughing my ass off in DC seeing the capitol building half demolished, im not american so sue me if im laughing right now

someones gotta agree with me here...someone finally got those politician fuckers!!! hell id be laughing if it was based in ACT, Canberra right here in Aus! for those of yo who dont know ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Canberra is our nations Capital. federal politics...bah your all lying scum!

I can't find it....
I have my drawing hand back in working order still. But for some reason I've got all these half done drawings and no motivation to finish them. Example, pic of Spence about to fight a clone of himself made by the Bio-Legion Echidnas, its been sitting there for a month and a bit, and I finally gave Spence his right boot. One thing that has killed it a bit is the fact my Printer/Scanner is playin up somethin serious, so its a game of chance that i'm able to scan something.

Hedgehog youve got nothin lol I myself was always a big fan of Knuckles but once I learned of the broader range of echidnas from reading STH and Knuckles comics my fnadom has jumped from one Echidna to all of them. But i guess i can say Lara-Su is my all time favourite. I donjt know why maybe im just a freak but what are ya gonna do.
