So!

With working hard artists, and talented minds finally squishing
together, ths project is coming closer to being open to the DA
public, and any other artist who is intrested.

World of Altasia Project


OMG yes it has a name, so its no longer the flower "project",
its something that Nia and I first developed SEVERAL months ago,
after she convinced me not to send my first original character,
Lotus (Who I started drawing back in 04), to the back burner,
originaly when I had some hard time of not wanting to draw her
anymore, because I felt it was ruined for me. However Nia
() was like no! shes an awsome character,
we must do some fun art,and lets get others to do it!.

So this this project was born , started out as "The Flower Project",
because we had no idea for a name yet, but we knew what we wanted
to do. So I invited Veronica (), and Maryam
(), into the project. So it for a while was originally us
four. However Nia and Mary and I met more. Eventually Nia
told me that Missy () Wanted to take part of it, and so she
jumped in, and put her brain into it, and started producing some artwork.

The last two people to join our main team, was Kat (), and Iso. Kat was extreamly intrested, and thought it would be fun, and so we invited her in, and shes having a fun time with it, and we enjoy her with us. and Iso, who is a good friend of mine, and an English Major. Stepped in to handle any writing, or help if needed. So far we have developed a good team.

With the side exeption of a few scanner burn outs over the summer, and college, and work coming back up. We should be pulling out an awsome project soon, for the DA community to take part in.

Anyways, no really. Im really in love with my job with Scholastics, so ive been like a magor work aholic. Artwork, eh yeh theres been alot. Posting it. Maybe.

Im really thrilled, not to long ago Stacy and I got together and we had a big anime fix over the new stuff. And thats probably been the only thing ive gotten to do besides alot of family stuff. <3 the family.

Life is so much better for me, keeping myself busy. And getting things done, much better then in the past. So damn hyper right now its not even funny.

wondering (or who even care) I am fine. I still have a few glitchs
and financial shit. But im cool. But with alot of bullshit off my
shoulders I feel 100% great. And I realized alot of stuff, and grew
up and got away from everything that made no sense, or just more
bullshit.


Ive been working, been paying stuff off. Moved off Collage for a later
date. Until I catch up with finacial stuff. Been helping mom pay bills,
and finaly even through the toughness. Some personal time. Yes
alot of things have changed in the past months. Friends, that im no
longer friends with. (part of the childish bullshit I stepped away
from). Growing closer with my family, and doing stuff with those who
actually give a damn about me. And arnt clueless people or have no
idea.


YEs and also got a tougher skin. Noticed that? Hince I dont take bullshit and crap from anyone anymore. Or anyone who likes to make everything my falt.


So what does this mean for the world of Art & DA?

Yes you get me back, for those who piled my note section, with Mixers and , miss you letters. OR saying your still doing fan art of my characters. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy ya know? Thanks for the support. And I read all the posts that went to my journal when I left DA back in May. the Long DA leave WAS SOOOO NICE. It was getting out of the land of suffication, and alot of crap that shouldnt have bothered me.

So these are the changes im going to be doing around the time im not on 2nd shift of work or helping other people/family or doing stuff with friends, (Stacy & Adrienne)

- Sweeping my whole gallery (besides ones that got good enough hits, and I still like them till this day)

- Posting all my new artwork, mainly sketchs and some eye teasers.

- And posting for myself and those who still watch my stuff. (via im not going back to any groups, or clubs, or all that DA warm and fuzzy stuff lol.)


See one thing that really opened up my eyes after leaving DA for a while. And breaking some old ties. That I had chained myself down, and let myself get beaten by alot of stuff. I constenly beat myself over not updating DA, or doing as good as other DA artists. Or via dealing with little groupie fans, of other artists giving me shit. Just all those little tid bits ya know? And I mean after going through 4000 things journal/messages/art (yes im no longer a subscriber) im like "haha". I looked at alot of art. Alot of people have gotten really good. And Kudos to all of you all who have been evolving your art and keeping up. But I havent missed much on DA. Like people said it would still be here when I returned.

But this time. Im not letting it, or others Rule me.

In my life right now I feel like I can no longer contrabute alot to the art realm like I have wanted too. Not to the standerds that I used to put out artwork weekly with great rays and hope. Producing stuff that I love the most. I love art, just emotionally I feel like as of late everything I have put down is nothing. Its the grand art slumpf or me. In understanding this, I am going to leave DA for a while. I will still keep my account, and check up on everything everyone else does. But that is the extent. I have let DA control me too much, and how people have responded and acted lately. That crashing with my real life issues have made it hard for me to focus.

Bri - I am leaving PE. I feel I cannot meet standards, and be what you invited me into at the time. I thought I could do it. You all are nice people but I feel like im being less then usual. I hope you understand this, and do not think of this harshly.

Jeanne- I appolgize for missing your brithday. And I announce this through all of DA. I hope it is the best birthday you have. You where hear for my birthday when no one else could be and I appricated it the most. But through all my mess I forgot about yours, with everythign that Ive been dealing with. You have better friends then I. And I hope that Japan and Korea is a great experance.

Michelle/Emily - You guys are the best people, but lately I havent been a good friend. Ive withdarwn myself into my own shade and have had heavy emotional deals to fight with, with my mom, family and myself. And I havent fel tlike sharing my problums with you guys regulary. Callign no one. And not letting people know that Im still breathing. You guys have done well, comic, and art, is beautiful, you guys are the best. Way better then I can ever be. Ignoring no. Never intended. I love you guys and wish the best always.

Sho - Its been less since we have talked. Last time we talked was when I showed you artwork that I did. I appoglize to you. Lately I juts havent known what to say to people more then anything else. You are doing so well, doing stuff for people and your art has evolved. There is no reason for you to be so rough on yourself anymore. Your a great person, even since I met you back when you where still stationed in Hawaii.


Everyone , Shannon, Sayda, Scarlet,Vox, you people are great. You all mean alot . And the things you have said int he past and the support. Same with Ultama.


Now. In my life Im faced with things I need to pay more attention too that I have been running from. Emotionally and physically. Been job surching for weeks now, so that I can start paying for things im behind on. Helping my mom with her problums. Being there for my grandfather, if grandma gets sick anymore if nessary. Stress has made me sick, school has eaten me alive. And all ive had escape was my room, family and a bit of gaming here and there.

I feel as if myself has shut down so far, to block out everything around me. Familyf ights, and downhill rides with my mom. Been sick for over a week, afer loosing so much blood from being drawn on. I jsut now need to stand up, help my family, and help get through things, before im back on my horse willing to ride again. And be the same person I was. Emotional break downs, have sheilded me from such. But now I need to pay attention to such things.

I hope people can understand this. If not then I do not blame them. But this is what is running through my mind and How I feel about everythign right now. I *need* to help myself right now, before I can be anything to anyoen else right now. and I need to help my mother, and grandparents.

I love everyone alot. I never deniy that. But right now im in an emotional state of needing time.


I wish everyone good luck in DA arting. And I will be on AIM, once I can get mot of all my programs reinstalled to my comop after my Laptop died,and having to reinstall windows. I will try to be on more. But I wont be too talktive.

Well not much to say. But Finals are coming up and im ripping my hair out im starting to hate these online corses. I do fine untill exams pop up and they ask these stupid ass questions that I dont hear anything about in the reveiws. And Its killing my grade.

Im really looking forward for Christmas brake im loosing my mind if its not stress, then its depresson and me not feeling good. (Anyone sense a repetive nature here?). Im starting to hate all these meds that im on to treat Crohns Disease that ive been dignonsed with since at least three months ago. (I think) Im starting to feel like im a pill bottle =/.

My scanner offically has halfway died. I can scan slightly but everytime I scan mostly the picture dosnt come out. So unruely as it is I have to wait untill Christmas untill I get a new one. I had to beg for it. Since unlike when I saved up for my laptop, when I lost my job a few months later I really didnt have money to buy one.

As far as next quarter goes Im taking Modern Japan, and maybe another English class (depending on if I totally bombed this time . Knowing my luck.)


Ive almost got ~FrozenLilacs picture fully screentoned, hopefully Emily will like it. and hopefully Stephany will as well being that they are her characters. Ive spent alot of time on it .

well this week is goign to be busy, tying up both of my class's. Waiting for a responce for a Procter so I can take my final exam online. Going shopping with my mother and aunt. Getting a new cellphone. (Yes thats right folks the little red dragon just died on me.) Next week I have a doctors oppt. With Dr. Wenton And ..possably going shopping with Adrienne and her friends. So my plates full so that means more stress..

IT is possable that PMS is making me misrable and really bitchy. Who knows but Ive been highly irrtated today as is.

Besides that I managed to get my sketch cleaned up and submitted to DA so that people could get a look. Before I moved it to Scraps. Now its in emilys hand to ink. Michelles working on a color version. Which will be nifty to see. Ive been pushing her to do more dark and Angsty things. Since she got a great respocne on doing the Jezeria COmmisson for me.

I like it when I feel that I have helped another artist get some "YAYS" for doing something they usally dont do with their artwork. So its thrilling it makes me happy.

Yes it is offical, FrozenLilacs, Michelle84, ShowKizar and I will be doing a comic. We will be starting on production after the Holidays and possable a bit during the holidays as is to get somewhere . Lets hope upon that. *Cross's fingers*

I agreed to help Raven with her Dojin, Screentoning that is so hopefully that will get me more practice.

Ontop of that Starr Cross'd Destiny comes out in the new year. And its futuring my artwork of Blair's Juno and her Daytona. So Im thrilled this is my second publication for me. Im starting to feel better.

Im getting a new scanner/printer for christmas so nwo I can do some decent stuff without my art looking yellow when I scan it and having to weed it into a decent presentation. And Im getting multi-media cables too hook my Laptop up to my VCR and TV so YAY!

Not much to report. Besides that I have NO Inking pens right now. SO alot of commissons and what not have been put on hold until I head to either Columbia sometime soon (When I can) and get the pens that I use or people start donating *BIG PUPPY EYES*

Until then Im only offering to screentone black and white peices or coloring other peoples artwork. If you would like me to do either please note me and ask.

Only requirement i ask is that the pic be sent to me in a large INKED version...but not overkill on the size.

Hmm what to say about Lady Death...

I have been familure with who she is, the comics and after watching this movie I have ups and downs with it.

Postives
+ Beautiful music
+ Beautiful Backgrounds ( A change from the conventinal firey hells of doom)
+ Character designs are close to what the comic is
+ Strong voice acting

Negtives
- Animation is nice (But im not going to bash it like 4 reveiw sites that say it looks like a 1980's film, I can SHOW them 1980's anime/american film..) But some parts are jerky
- Storyline could have needed more too it, but was fair for a frist movie. Also some parts where sesless and uneeded. *cough cheezy love story* They needed Evil Erenie in there instead heh.


Pakaging
+ Nice interactive screens (artwork for characters, background. Interveiws with staff, comentary , preveiws for other shows.) It keeps things intresting
- The lack of what we expect also was not there leaving it empty in some areas.
+ the overal digital/audio and cleaness is a plus.
-/+ The movie was more bloody and gory then what apparently the comics are. Rendering it a bit in question if even some things can be enjoyed.

In my mind I think this is a good first try for ADV in releasing a film. Though I hope a second Lady Death film comes in the future for me to enjoy it more. Many places acused it copying ideas from other things, when I had already seen alot of old scanned comic pages, and indeed it dosn't. But then again what animation or series is not guilty of taking something from another show.

Overall I enjoyed it despite some falts..

Well I feel bad now that I didn't even tell Emily that I took VLAG down for heavy matiance and that I wasn't going to do it for a while, since people where busy. And shes pissed off.

So now I feel like an idjet.

It just got very frustrating with some things as to why its down right now, and ive been trying to figure out HTML errors and why things are not workin. Why Updates wont even roll over when its suposed too.

I just thought I was being curtous of both Michelle and Emily who are heavly bogged up by school work as to why I took on this misson by myself to fix things.

Right now I just have some generic hosting layout out untill I wanted to figure things out. But I thought it was a big heads up when I posted it on DA here long time ago. Because I thought they would read it here because they came here more .

But VLAG will not be going poof, its just giving me an assnic headache and making me mad. When I get people from three diffrent fourms telling me things arn't working I try to sit down and figure otu what is wrong instead of stressing out Emily with it. I want to try and fix it.

But in the future viciouslamente.com the main link will be a main directory it will go to VLAGS artist area, but then will go to another hosting & gaming area.

Damn well today I Felt like a lacky to the godly Pu-Sama. But anyways I felt the need to. As some of my friends know I play on AOL once and a while with RP and what not. And I came into a room and noted that some guy had a peice of Pu-Sama's artwork in his profile. Ok that was fine, then I got into his Out of Character stuff. And it said to the line (but not exact) "Artwork is the creation of the player, DO NOT STEAL ..blah blah."

So being dumbfounded at first I didn't know the player was actually a guy so I actually thought it was Pu. Untill one of my other friends told me that the person and player was a guy. So I was like "Ohhh glee!" and I went and bugged him saying that he must be a Hamlin fan, and a fan of Pu to have her artwork. And he sat there and gave me the line "Its not hers, I drew it, it was on wishlist and so I gave it to her." And I was like "ok.." so I messaged Pu about it and apparently his ass ignored her IMs.

And it was at that point in his profile it changed to "Artwork is copyrrighted by the artist." and not even spelled right. Then next I knew the guy deleted his SN. So I wonder if I felt good or bad doing it that I scared the shit out of the guy, that I actually had contact with the actual artist.

But this is like the fourth time I caught someone else claiming another person's artwork for their own and it piss's the shiznat out of me!.

Expecally Pu's work, which I worship. I mean Ive seen people use her artwork, but actually give her credit, and other artists in the same manner.

Oh my god...

One would think watching a World Film with family would be ok? IT SO WAS NOT. I just got smacked in the face with realization of how westernized my family is.

I finally got ahold of Devdas. And well it was movie night and noooo one had rented anything. So I was like "Yay something I'll wanna watch with the family."

My uncle rudely fell asleep during it, my mom was making fun of it, and actually left the room and my grandmothe looked annoyed. My GRANDFATHER was the only one out of the whole group that was enjoying it with me like a respectable adult.

I got up in the middle of it and turned it off and just said "You know what, remind me NEVER ever to want to watch a movie with any of you all again. I'll go finish this upstairs." I ended up finishing the movie on my laptop.

IT IS A GOOD MOVIE. UGH. Here I thought I was drooling over HERO having been made in 2002. But damn, Devdas rails it. Sure its a Indian Romance Musical. But It has a deep story, the music is to die for, the costumes are sooo beautiful, and the dance numbers to drool over..

I believe I want to see more Bollywood films. I now have apprication for Madhuri Drixit & Ashywara Rai. To wonderful Indian Actress...

Anyways I figure when a few friends come home *nudge nudge Michelle and Emily* I'll show it to them along with a few other things. I think at least THEY will appricate it...

I come to work see a list infront of my face in order stamped with times of things Im "Required to do" now all of these things are things, I do daily and I get them done fast and no complaints..

Im run to do Drinks in Drive Thorugh, which screws up my work scedual I dont get reports done untill 3:30-4:00 I have 11 drawers I havent even gotten to count yet.

One of my owner comes in sits down and basically told me he and his wife "thought a long time, and decided that they did not want to keep my job anymore. That labor was too high, and they arent meeting their goals..." So the cut me from work.

Which is bullshit. The Hiring Manager hired 15+ people in the past two weeks, all new peopel who dont know how to do shit. No wonder their labor sucks. I have nothing to do with it, Ive always done my work and done things as they asked...

Even the Evening Manager, Josh agreed with me. He said he could have at least named 10 people by heart that he could easily fire for not doing their job... SO THEY CUT ME?! they dont cut the morning office worker ohhh no..shes so fucking importent.

So now im jobless, no way to pay my hospital bills, school bill, and whatever else.

My scanners almost dead. But Im willing to risk..I'll stake COMMSISONS PLEASE .

Day one..
We get to St. Louis , all is well we make it to the BRAND new spanking mall there. And OH my god I love the place, it has every store I need and want, I gorged myself on some good Sushi that I hadn't had since well back in May.

I bought....
AN INVADER ZIM BLANKET!!! With Gurr and the rubber piggy and it says "Ride the Pig" xD Now I know Stacys' going to steal it.

A new pair of shoes... (woopie)

La de La..get to the hotel around 4:00 (Mind you this is after getting to St Louis at 11:30-12:00..this was how long we stayed in the mall.) Crashed for oh like two hours? Then we headed out and BAM hell hath no fury. Stuck in traffic , traffic was jammed all ways. It was so bad we where stuck up on a clover high ramp..not moving. Some people got out of their cars and where selling donuts, beer, and sodas to the waiting cars.

Well lets see the concert was originally suposed to start at 7:30 at the Riverport Ampatheater (Named something else I cant think of it now, my brains dead.). Heh we dont get moving untill 7:45. Midn you we left the Hotel that was four miles away around 6:00. And it really shouldn't have taken us that long right? Now mind you my younger cousin Kiley had been waiting for this concert since back in Febuary, whole reason why she got a job to see HER Kenny Chesney. And well I promsied I go along x_x;. (Shoot me). We didnt get to the damn stadium untill a quarter to nine. Somehow Uncle Cracker opaned for Kenny so we had got there when he just started. Half of the girls with us had to go to the restroom. So once the car was parked we where booking it. I didnt even eat so I felt sick. So by the time we got there I spent $5.00 on abig prezal with cheese.

Ok so I'll admit..

I liked the concert it was fun....

Now how ironic after the concert, we where stuck next to a truck, that we where trying to get in the line to get out..the guy was groping this girl, up and down her shirt, in her pants..having fun..x_x got a fun show . And my cousin Kiley responds "Well it looks like shes enjoying it.." without a blink...

afterwords..
we go to Stake & Shake on Marylend Hights. By our hotel (Since then we wished we stayed at Holiday Inn by Riverport.) The servace was bad (and I was in shock first Stake & Shake that I ever went too like this.) took us forever to get seated, the girl was rude, the manager was rude...it was horrable..

ontop of that I couldn't sleep... x_X;


Lets just say it all kinda balanced out the next day..which was day two. We went to Six Flags. x3; Went on Thunderiver and got soaked like a rat, my money got soaked so every place I went to buy things afterwords they looked at me oddly..

The Chinese Food we had at Six Flags..we swore was not chicken but somthing else x-x

AND OH OH got Dip In DOTS *DROOL*

got my tweety bird...and saw a show at Kitty's Saloon...


x-x anyways lol....I have returned..>> ;..artwork..give me a few days to recooperate first..lmao.

I was suprirsed. Hyde (from L'Arc~en~Ciel) and Gackt are VERY good actors. I had a vage idea with Gackt from watching one of the old Malice Mizer short films during the Mervillous Era. But damn he is good LOL.

Besides that, it was a VERY VERY good movie. I would have to say that it would have to be my favorite forigen film.. (so yes NOW you poor little J-Rock people, the DVD was only 10.99!! And you can get the VCD for 8.99!! GO GET IT NOW at [link]!! I SO recommend this movie. *chews on it and swoons*)

I also got Moi Dix Mois's new cd, "Noctuernal Opera" and let me say. It is possably, I think better then their Dix Infernal CD. The music is astonishing and very beautiful. A big twist and diffrent from the other one. More classical and light. ( And might I add..the photos in the booklet are stunning YET again...)

And Ive been finally given my task. has finished the line art for our collab. So Im going to be selling my soul for a long time to it. And to a Fan Art pic that is for a MT fourm contest. So dont expect anything new out of me for a while. Because I want to make sure my coloring part on this collab pic meets up to standards of Michelles Inking. I do not want to make her wonderful line art look horrendus with my coloring. ::Looks about to make sure Michelles not reading* aiii off to work now =3
