Brawl is out!

Before I talk about that, I'll tell ya'll bout my week and stuff.

Saturday, I finished my news article, editorial, political comic, and two advertisements for my paper.
Then, went to see Vantage Point.
It was awesome!
The same scenes were replayed like five times, but you saw it from a different person's point of view each time, revealing a new part of the plot each time.
It was quite good.
Ending was a bit cheesy, though, and clichéd.
Badass terrorists swerve out of the way of a young girl in the middle of the street and crash their getaway car.
Besides that, though, the movie was awesome.

Then, went and reserved Brawl at a nearby Gamestop, and went out to Chinese food with friends.

Next morning, I got Brawl as soon as the store opened!
Couldn't play it all that much, though. Birthday party and dad's friend came.

But now I've been able to play it.
Pwnsometastic!
I'm still awesome with Fox. He's still my primary character.
Played with Lucario and Snake today on my friend's file.
Awesome.
Graphics are amazing, Subspace Emissary is cool, and everything is awesome.

I played the awesome Wii game No More Heroes the other day.
It's awesome.
Rated M, for violence and sexual references.
Mainly, the enemies spurt unrealistic fountains of fake blood when you kill them, and the main character constantly hits on his boss, saying things like "When I become number 1, will you do it with me?"
lol
But still, an awesome game.

Speaking of which, Brawl releases in 9 days! W00t!
I heard that Isaac from Golden Sun will be an assist trophy. I saw screen shots and a movie.
Looks plausible.
I sure hope so!

I'm working on a new short story. It's very hard to explain, but I can say that it will go along with the piece I just drew called Pondering on a Winter Day.

School is fine. Two more weeks until Philadelphia! W00t!

I went to a store to exchange some video games this past weekend.
Bought Bomberman for DS, and the albums Flood by They Might Be Giants and The Joshua Tree by U2.

Although I do have my computer back, it's not the one compatible with my scanner, so I can't do any drawings.
However, I did remember that I had plenty of photos from my visit to the National Aviary of Pittsburgh last weekend.
Can't let *natureguy and =meihua get all the bird photos.

Anyways, I have plenty of those.

I also had the greatest hot chocolate of my life last weekend as well.
It was awesome.
I took a picture of the cup it came in next to all this liquor in a cabinet at my house.

In other news, I'm full of anticipation for my Philadelphia trip in March. Got the schedule for it, sounds like tons of fun. US Mint, Independence Hall, food.
All the important stuff.
Unfortunately, we don't get to go the art museum. It's not quite "history" enough, and we don't really have enough time.

I'm gonna go and exchange some of my old video games for a new one. Don't play any of my DS games anymore, so I need something else to do.

Finally, most importantly, I have found my heart's greatest desire...

STEPHEN COLBERT'S AMERICONE DREAM!

I've had it before, but never found it at my grocery store.
But, today, victory!
And I must say that it is, by far, the greatest ice cream flavor ever invented.

I got my computer back!
Yay!
Party time!

This one hadn't been able to make contact with the internet for about two months or so.
But now it's fixed.
Unfortunately, I have to re-upload my entire iTunes collection.
Luckily, I had saved it all onto disks.
Currently doing that now.

In other news, I have a new iPod!
W00terz!
80-Gig Classic, Black.
Sweet.

Also, just got the new Killers cd, Sawdust. It is the essence of awesome.
More of their creepy music, but also mixed in is some good 'ol rock sound.
Favorites would have to be "Tranquilize", "Under the Gun", "Move Away", and "Sam's Town".

Sorry I haven't been around much.

My computer, unfortunately, got a virus in it.
It has been in the possession of the Geek Squad since last Thursday, and I've heard nothing from them since.

I don't know when it will be fixed, but it could be a while.

In other news, I've realized that the girl I loved is already interested in another guy.

On the brighter side, I got a new Killers album!
Sawdust!
Very creepy, but still awesome rock music.

Haven't been able to put more artwork on.
Once I get my computer back, I'll have plenty to post.

Lots and lots to update!

Man, I've been busy.
Artistically, and otherwise.

As you know, i went to the Groundhog's day... er, excuse me- Woodchuck's day festivities this past weekend.
A bit frantic, and exhaustingly tiring.

Then, on Sunday, i went to see the movie "Untraceable". It was totally awesome.
Definitely creepy, but very well done, and makes you think.
Well, after it creeps you out, it makes you think.
XD

Then, I went to a Super Bowl party with my dad.
Mother and sister stayed home, cause my sis was sick.
There's some kind of virus going around. Both my parents now have it, along with three members of my friend's family.

Anyways, the Super Bowl was pretty exciting.
GIANTS BEAT THE PATS! IN YOUR FACE, NEW ENGLAND!

I thought the commercials were pretty good too.
Favorites were probably the Pepsi "Wake up people!" commercial, along with the Doritos commercial, the one with the giant rat.
If you saw it, you'd know what I mean.

Anyways, I've been back at school for two days.
Ugh, Health class bites.
We get to do the Reproductive Unit now.
Joy.

Finally got a subscription to DA! I have it for 3 months. After that, I'll see whether or not I want to continue having one. Liking it so far, so the chance that I'll keep it is good.

Went to see Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Great movie. Johnny Depp was fantastic, as always. Also making appearances were Sasha Baron Cohen (Borat), and the actors who played Severus Snape and Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter movies.
Music was fantastic, the songs were hilarious and well-written. The camera work was top-notch as well. Lots of blood, but not scary at all. See it now.

Besides that, the History teachers in my eighth grade organized an essay contest for a trip to Philadelphia. Myself, and three of my friends all got in, and we're going to share a hotel room. lol. Four teenagers in one room. Not good. XD
But still, I'm psyched.
Although, there is one person who I would love to go, but she's not...

No, not with drawings.
With bird pictures, actually.

Yesterday afternoon, this really beautiful bird landed on a stop sign outside my house.
It just sat there for a few minutes.

Being the bird lover that I am, I immediately rushed to see it. Then, I ran inside to get the camera, and by the time i got out again, the bird moved.
However, it just relocated to a branch on a tree, just a few yards away.

I decided to take some pictures from different angles and distances.
Came out with about 30 pictures.

Found about 10 good ones, and now they're up.

I finished the final copy of Phoenix Wright, which I'll give to my friend in 5 days.

My desktop screen shot is up. I figured out how to take a picture of it.

Made myself a Deviant ID. It isn't one of those cool DeviantArt License of Submission things, but it will do.

Finally, I drew a peregrine falcon, after which I am named.

So, I'm feeling a bit artistic.
