We are in the midst of buying a new home. All it going well, which is to say it is progressing nicely and in a timely manner. I am packing and making art when I can. It's frustrating to not post more images more often but I bend as far as I can so I do not break. I know that will make sense to a lot of you.

Summer is marching out now and fall is nearly upon us. Things we even out as it eventually and all will right itself.

I had left this place because I wanted to do different things. That was OK with everyone and it was OK with me. Sort of an unspoken thing, right? I had heard/read horror stories about them being 'uncrate-able' because they suffer from such extreme separation anxiety. It's true. My Chi, Halo, screams like she is being stabbed every time we put her in her create.

This makes for a long night.

We end up putting her in bed with us - which is absolutely the WRONG thing to do - just to get her and us a little sleep.

This solves nothing tho. She sneaks down to the bottom of the bed and pees while we are all a-snooze. I was jolted out of a lovely dream by accidentally putting my foot in a COLD puddle of pee. 2009 has busted in the door

Last night was a calm night - seriously - I even forgot to drink! It's so funny. Christmas Unleashed

Am I the only one surviving on a steady diet of Christmas cookies and energy drinks? :giggle: It has certainly been an amazing 48 hours - complete with rainy COLD wintery weather, a fire in the fireplace, Christmas music playing quietly and more legos than you can shake a stick at. It was good, I thought, very cute, loud and fun. Miles - who is a very big Hellboy fan - loved it. But not as much as Indiana Jones. He said Indiana was 3 hairs better than Hellboy. I suppose in the mind of an 8 year old - 3 hairs is quite a lot. I don't know, though, the rating system seems unpredictable and faulty. Any way - after that and a big BBQ lunch, I am knackered.
