I'm not sure about other os', but I have Vista and have MSN 8.0 (and not the Beta!)
To make this version work:

download and extract ZapMessenger (It's located where it says 1: ZapMessenger)

download and extract ResHacker (#4 on the list)

download MSN v.8 -DO NOT INSTALL JUST YET

run ZapMessenger to get rid of any and all MSN files

install MSN v.8, but DO NOT LOG ON. Click out of it, and click EXIT on the MSN icon in the system tray

open the folder ResHack and right-click the program-Run as Administrator

File -> open -> C: -> Program Files -> MSN Messenger -> msnmsgr (it has the MSN icon)

Expand Version Info -> Expand 1 -> click on 1033

Scroll down till you see:
VALUE "OriginalFilename", "msnmsgr.exe"
VALUE "ProductName", "Messenger"
VALUE "ProductVersion", "8.0.0812.00"

Where it says ProductVersion, change the numbers to the most recent MSN version # (14.08064.0206), so it looks like:
VALUE "OriginalFilename", "msnmsgr.exe"
VALUE "ProductName", "Messenger"
VALUE "ProductVersion", "14.08064.0206"

Compile Script then File ->Save

Exit out of ResHack and viola! You have the old MSN, but the company is tricked into believing it's the newest version!

Mom's given me some great books she's been hording, and I've solved my flash problem

I'm currently reading Stephen King's Bag of Bones, but once I'm done, I'll have read every book in my house worth reading. So, I'm looking for something new. Has anyone ever read a book that they loved?

I've been working on animations, but I keep having the same problem: the moment I introduce any color into a flash, the whole program becomes slow as molasses. I must click on something, wait as little as 3, or as long as 15 mins while Flash freezes and unfreezes, then do the whole thing over again. As an example of how extremely frustrating this is: I've managed to color about 3 frames in 5 hours, when it should've taken me only a few minutes. My laptop has an Intel Pentium Dual processor of 1.60GHz and a RAM of 512MB, and I use Adobe Flash CS3. Is there anyway to get Flash to work any better then this, anything I could download or install, or am I doomed to black and white forever?

Yep, turn 22 day before Thanksgiving! 22...wow _{I feel old.}
Went up through New England on a fall foliage tour-it was beautiful! Also, went trick-or-treating and I now have a HUGE amount of candy. Hope you all had a great Hallow's eve, too. Sadly, I forgot to take pics of my awesome yard and my pumpkin and my costume, but there's always next year.
Art wise, I'm still working on big things, (not to mention raking up the whole yard before the 1st snowfall) so don't expect much for awhile.

My fave time of year.

In a week or two I'll be heading to Vermont for a day of apple picking and to get re-inspired to draw. Also, Sat., I'll be visiting *Caretaker-of-Myth, whom I haven't seen since Otakon.
Art wise, I've been working on some big projects, so don't expect much uploading from me for a short while.

Anyway, its about time I shared with you my Otakon experience!

_{sorry if I forgot some parts or messed up timings of things. I have the memory span of Dory from Finding Nemo}:
Fri.
I woke around 4:30a and after our flight and a short drive (lol my GPS) me and my aunt were at our snazzy and expensive hotel (valet parking anyone?) before 11a, where I met with

. After dragging our luggage up to our room we all decided to go and get our badges. Took a ÂtourÂ around the building getting into the wrong line before we finally found the pre-reg line, but I saw so many awesome cosplays! Lotsa pics were taken before we got our badges. Right after we got our badges, we saw an Inspector Gadget and the Ghostbusters! After several pics we sat down and rooted through our stuff.
It was around noon by then so we left the con to get some lunch at some place I forget the name of-but their small fries were HUGE! After that we decided to head back to the con and check out the Artist's Alley, so we headed back and took many more pics along the way.
When we finally found the stairs to the Alley, I noticed Chimbley's hat. Sure enough, it was

(sorry if I forgot anyone else who was there. Damn memory loss...). After quick introductions we were off to the Dealer's room instead where we split up and me, Myth and Haunter roamed about and bought stuff (I bought my dad his birthday present). We sat awhile while I munched on pocky, Myth drew and Haunter had some lunch before we tried to find our way to the Artist's Alley, which we finally did. There we headed straight for

's table where I finally got to meet Del and

, which was awesome. I bought a LoT: Rel book and had Del sign it. We hung around her table for awhile before looking at the other artists and not finding

anywhere.
Too soon it was time for Haunter to leave and shortly thereafter me and Myth bid farewell to Del and the others before heading back to the hotel. Then we went to McD's for supper and stopped at CVS to get some snacks for the rest of the weekend. Then, back to the room for the rest of the night, where we gave the crash course on LoT to my aunt. After that, Myth worked on finishing her Lilith costume and I doodled.

We all basically woke around 8a and I helped Myth put her cosplay on before getting into my jeans and cyan shirt (yay easy cosplay!). Anyway, in 1 week I shall be at Otakon! First time and 2nd con in my life-I'm so lookin forward to it! _{btw, the Climber doll's still comin along}

Sorry for the lack of art lately. As much as I want to sit back, relax and con it up, reality's cornered me and now my future lies in my own hands-and the time to act upon it is quickly slipping through my fingers. With college done my student loans loom on the horizon-more then I can afford to pay with my current job. So 3 options are available to me:
A) Go back for try for my BA at the only college left to apply to within a deadline: AI. += debt is set back till I graduate again | -= 10x the debt I'm already in.
B) Try to take a few classes in any 4 year college to try and hold off my debt. +=no payments for as long as I take classes | -= all admission deadlines are long past
C) Stop running away from my future as part of the work force, get my butt in gear, make a resume and find a full-time job that (hopefully) is something I enjoy doing and will help toward my ultimate goal as an animator. += Can (hopefully) afford to pay my bills and not live in fear of them anymore | -= finding a job I want in this economy and getting paid enough to not have to haul over 40 hours a week just to make ends somewhat meet.
So as you can guess this pretty much fills my plate, pushing back any and all art I had hoped to do over summer (aka flashes).

One good thing that has happened this summer is:
I HAVE A CAR!
All of which I can sum up in 2 words: ROAD. TRIP.

EDIT: After a night of rest he was chirping and flying around my house, so me and my mom released him back into the wild. He'll be fine, since he was managing with 1 leg and hopping over to his food and water bowls. We still saved his life though, which is always a good thing. Fly strong little birdie!

Today my bro was in the woods and came across a robin who's leg had been tied to a branch. He brought it home and put it in a box, but when they (he and my mom) tried to untie him, he freaked out. I came home from work around then and was able to untie him...but sadly, one of his feet was already...destroyed. Me and my mom are bringing him to an animal hospital tomorrow-wish him well! Right now he's sleeping, and he drank some water earlier, so I hope he'll get better...and learn to live with 1 leg...

There's a lot going on in my life at the moment, although luckily its all good! Inbetween schoolwork and real work and attempts at sleeping more then 6 hours a night I have been working on some drawings/writings/flashes that I've been to busy to get around to...so expect them as I get them done.

I have 1 more week at Quincy before I graduate with an associate's degree! Now my future rests with UMass (since MassArt politely told me I didn't get in). If I get in, then I'll continue school. If not, well, it's off to find a full-time job (oh joy).

I managed to convince my aunt (my Uncle's wife not my mom's sis who passed away) to come with me (she's a fellow artist, but not a deviant), and we'll be staying all 3 days! In other news, last Wends. marked the 2nd year of my aunt Amy's passing away. Me and my grandma went around Boston, because that's what Amy used to do, and we had a nice time. I still miss her dearly, but I am faring much better then I was even a year ago. Once again, I thank those who were with me in my time of need.

College and my Life
This is my last semester of college before I get my associate's degree. I've also applied to other colleges, so wish me luck that I get in! Luckily, most of the costly college fees and deadlines have already been met, meaning more time for OCT's, and more money in my pocket. Yay food!

SOMETHING'S BEEN SPAMMING YOUR INBOXES SAYING ITS FROM ME: DON'T CLICK THE LINK! I thought DA had fixed that...

Last month was busy, and this month even more so. Last month I went back to school visited New York and watched Round 4 of Law of Talos unfold!
New York was awesome! We left around 6am and drove 5 hours to the city. It was just after New Years, so there was hardly any traffic. We parked at Rockerfeller Plaza and went to the Top of the Rock (a skyscraper where you can view the whole city!). After that we walked around the plaza and went to a few stores. I went to Nintendo World and bought a Kirby plushie! Then we went to lunch at a pub that had really good food. Then we went to Times Square. It was awesome! So many lights and billboards! We went to a Hard-Rock Cafe gift shop and a 4 floor Toys R Us that had a ferris wheel inside it! I bought a Mickey Mouse shirt there. After that we walked down to Macy's. We didn't have much time left, so we stuck to the 1st floors which was purses. Purses and handbags as far as the eye can see in every direction. I'm not one for purse shopping, so that was boring, but it was amazing the size of the store. I also saw a Starbucks inside it! Afterwards it was almost 5 so we had to head back to the garage. We piled back in the car, stopped in Conneticuit for dinner and got home around 11 that night. I was exhausted (and the 20 hours of work the next few days did little to rest me) but well worth the trip.

Like I mentioned earlier, this is a very busy time of year for me. I work 3 days a week, go to school another 3 days. Its the time of year to apply for other colleges and time for taxes, so there's lotsa paperwork to fill out.
And also, I'm entering Nostalgia: an OCT.

What!? Bloom, what are you doing? You said it yourself: you procrasitnate, you're fully booked, you can't draw comics and you've no time for flash...what the heck are you thinking entering an OCT!?
Yeah, that's what I keep asking myself. I guess my only answer is that I wanted to try. So look out world; Bloomblitz is going to tourney!

Also, because of the contest I'm hosting and my no-free-time schedule, I'm not offering an art trade or Youtube Vid this month. Sorry.

*Unknown-person was beyond epic, as per usual with him (lol-a few of my friends might recall me saying something about him doing comics again), and I could just go into detail about every panel of the comic and every second of the animation...but I won't, unless UP wants me to. Brillaint, beyond-epic, jaw-dropping. I laughed, I gasped, I smiled, I trembled, I was close to tears.

For starters, I'd like to make an announcement to those taking part in my contest "Name the Violin Girl" (see link above). First off, please spread the word so that others can guess her name. Second, I will only be taking entries until Jan. ~~10th~~ 18th 11:59 pm. Hello again, everyone!

My birthday was a blast, and so was Foxwoods! I even won a bit of money! I did drink, but I did so responsibly.

A while ago, I mentioned something about Youtube and my fellow deviants, so here's the thing:
I want to give 5 deviants free publicity on Youtube. What that basically means is that you name a song and I'll put your art to the music is a music video.
Conditions: only 5 may participate, and its a 1st come-1st serve basis. I'll need you to reply to this journal before Dec. 15, since I want to do these by the end of the month.

Hello DA!

Halloween's over (I'm up to my eyes in candy

yay! But more important is the fact that it is now November. All that much closer to Christmas, Thanksgiving is right around the corner and, of course, my birthday.

My 21st birthday!

Ah, 21...a time to drink, gamble and be merry! I'm going to Foxwoods to celebrate and I plan to have the time of my life!

Also good news-I'm out of writer's block and artist block! Ideas are flowing around my head like a babbling brook...Oh! Another idea! and another! Just need time to get it down on paper...

I was also thinking about doing an art trade with someone. Never done one before, but if someone wants, I'm up for it. But only one-a 1st come 1st serve basis. If all goes well I might do more...just reply in this journal. You have till the end of the month to reply-since that's when I'm updating the journal.

I also have another idea that involves Youtube and my fellow deviants...more on that next time.

Hello DA!

I'm so busy nowadays I can't get much done fun wise. I work 3 days a week and I go to school another 3 days, leaving Wednesdays my only true day off. *yawns* Also, my only day to really sleep in.

There is an exception: on Sat., I'm going to Vermont! The ultimate getaway for me: Vermont in autumn! I'm really looking forward to it, since I

autumn colors, and Vermont has the best!

Anyway, I got Kirby Superstar Ultra...and a DS...and the games are great!

Also, my artistic block has gone away and I have ideas for several drawings...now all I need is the time to work on them. I'm still having writer's block, but 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Hello everyone!

These are my last few days this summer vacation. My sibs started about a week ago (hah!) This is what I've done:
Six Flags
Caobie Lake
Water Country
The Beach
A Date
Plymouth
Rockport
I had a blast! This summer was full of stuff, plus I got alot of stuff done online, too! I've been very busy between vacationing and work; now school is going to fill up my vacation time with more work. Oh well, Im taking a lot of art classes that I'm really looking forward to.
I'm also trying to find time to draw/write. I'm in a block in both fields and whenever I try to do something artistic to break it, I get pulled away for something stupid, like chores or work (this morning my boss wanted me to come in early...time and a half, so I did).
Also saw Jungle Book 2. I'm not usually one to go for sequels, but it is really great! (Bare Necesities is now stuck in my head...yay!

)

I need to find out when Vermont gets it fall foliage in. Once a year me and my cousins go apple picking in Vermont. I just go for the colors, and I need to find out when the state's at its peak, cause it is gorgeous and really gets me inspired. Nothing beats Vermont in the fall. Nothing.

Speaking of fall, any ideas what I should be for Halloween?

Hello again DA!
Yesterday I went to Six Flags and spent the entire day there! It was a blast! I didn't win anything because I didn't try to win anything-nothing really caught my eye (except in the gift shops). Today I might go to the beach (spent most of yesterday in the Water Park but I love to swim!) Wendsday I go to Boston, Thursday the zoo and Friday's the 4th! Busy vacation week, I love it!
Oh, anyone know where I could buy Macromedia Flash? I really want it, but can't find it anywhere (except for the site for several hundred dollars).

May has had its ups and downs for me.

Actually, the only downer is that my Great-Grandfather passed away. Also, I didn't say anything when it happened, but my Great-Grandmother passed away only a few weeks before. They're buried side by side in a local cemetary. I miss them, but I'm ok.

The ups for May are great! I've been going to several BBQs and having a blast! The 1st one I went to this year was at my aunt's house (not the one who died), and she had a moonwalk/pool/BBQ party which was fun! Then my mom bought a grill and has been cooking on it constantly. We've also roasted marshmallows, made smores and even bought a tent for the backyard!

May was fun and June sounds promising!

For starters, I'm going to see Indiana Jones Friday! I'm also going to (finally!) buy Photoshop! Then my sister and I are going to see a BLEACH movie! I can't wait!

Hello everyone!
For starters, on the 28th me and my grandmother went down to Cape Cod and tossed real flowers into the ocean in memory of my aunt. It was very beautiful.

I also got a laptop a few weeks ago and have been on it daily. Now I can actually get work done! It's a Compaq, so you know its good.

Hello DA! Happy New Year!

I hope that my friends had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, just as I did. I got the Wii! Which, of course, made the holiday. For Wii games I got:
Wii Sports
Mario Party 8
Super Paper Mario
Mario & Sonic at the Olypmic Games
Super Mario Galaxy
Petz Dogz 2
And I already own Sonic and the Secret Rings. So I've been busy playing it-its so much fun!
I don't have classes again until Jan. 24! I get a whole month off to play the Wii!

Okay, so now that I've made everyone really jealous I should stop ranting about how swell my life is before someone chucks a brick at me

Anyway...I seem to have lost my inspiration for drawing, yet my passion for writing is still strong. I want to continue with Truff and his adventures until my want to draw comes back. I already have an idea in my head.

Also, I have another website up. Unlike my Waddle Dee Protection Act (which noone seems to visit!) I made a site for all my fanfiction. If I put it all up on DevArt it would take up a ton of room. Yes, its that time of year: Christmas shopping. I'm almost done but now I have the crowds to fight.

My birthday weekend was a blast since I got a ton of money and spent it on fun stuff! I also had a great Thanksgiving and I hope all my friends did too.

Finals are in 2 weeks so I'm rushing around like crazy finishing up last-minute homework and studying, so until after finals I probably won't be adding much artwork till closer to X-Mas.

Hello DA! It's November. Time flies, doesen't it?

I had a great Halloween and, as usual, got way too much candy. I was a grim reaper this year.

Sorry for the lack of art and stories. Too much school work and not enough computer time. I probably won't get to much this month, since I'll have more schoolwork, but I'll try.

I'm also making another website. Apart from my Waddle Dee site (which I have to update soon) this one will hold my fanfiction so I don't fill up my gallery with chapters of stories. Yet another reason why I won't put up much this month. Expect a link to the site next journal.

Hello DA!

I have several things to say in this journal, so it's gonna be divided into several parts.

FALL COLORS
Yes-autumn is right around the corner. Outside my window the trees are beginning to change color. Fall really brings out the artist in me-its my favorite season!

SPEEDY INTERNET
In a week I will finally be getting Comcast high-speed internet, which will make the web much faster and easier. Yay!

COLLEGE
My second year of college begins in 5 days. I'll be taking a few classes that I'm looking forward to.

WADDLE DEE PROTECTION ACT (WDPA)

THE DARK IS RISING
No-it really isn't. However this is the name of a series of books I'm reading that is very good. I suggest it to anybody who wants something to read after Harry Potter. Also, the second book in the series is being made into a movie.

ART PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
I plan on drawing some more anime, and coloring in some sketches. Also, I do plan on drawing Bloom and finishing my Bloom the Hedgehog story. I will also do a few more chapters of Captain's Log. It may take a while, since school will be starting however I will get it done!

Hello fellow DA members.

In case you're wondering how I am, I'm in a sort of numbness phase. I don't feel happy, sad, mad, hungry. I feel thirty sometimes and sleepy most of the time, but I suppose that's natural. Oh well.

Monday I went to Six Flags and won a Shadow Plushie! I'll put a pic of it up when I can. If I wasn't so numb, I'd probably be jumping for joy.

This is my family's vacation week. Monday was Six Flags. Yesterday we walked around historical Plymouth. Today is-of course-a cookout, fireworks, glow sticks and fired dough. Yum! Tomorrow is the Museum of Science and Friday is Cape Cod. I'll be so busy that I won't be able to be online again until Monday. Also, don't expect much artowork from me, since I've lost the inspiration to draw. It'll come back, but I have to give it time. I'm on the verge of drawing Bloom, so I'm taking it slow and steady.

Hello, DA. What's new?

I'm hurting even less from my loss now. I only teared up last week when I went over my grandfather's. I stood in the room where I last saw my aunt and uncle before we went to the airport, and I felt so sad, I just wanted to cry. Now it feels like a part of me is missing. Sometimes it feels full, but only with pain. Othertimes I can just pretend that she's still alive, but when I try to go into detail, it backfires. Also, pretending that we live in the Matrix helps, but that's not right. Or is it? My mom says that time dosen't heal wounds like this, it just buries them deep in your heart, so when you look back it won't hurt as much as before. However, I'll never be back to normal. But I'll go on.

Hello DA, what's new this may?

I would like to start off by saying thanks to all who offered their support during my troubled time last month. No words can express how much a help you've all been. You deserve a big

. I am feeling much better now. I still have down days (like last night), but other than that I'm better. I even planted a rosebush in memory of Amy. It's supposed to sprout light-pink and white (her fave colors) roses. I just hope it blooms nicely.

The one thing that can make me sad is boredom. Luckily, I have enough schoolwork and homework to keep me busy. This is my last week of class, and everything is due! I've been working alot, so I haven't had much time to do any artwork, which explains why I haven't put up much lately. Expect to see quite a bit from me after school's out!

Speaking of my artwork, I'm going to take a break from Sonic fan-art. I'll never stop liking Sonic (and Shadow will forever be mine

-I just need a break from the usual. You all know how it is. I know I have some Sonic-based art that I need to do for my friends, and I promise I'll get to that asap. I'll also finish up my Misconception trilogy, but that's about it for Sonic-at least for awhile. I need to take a break from the usual so I can focus on my characters from Blitz. Also, I'm beginning to work on anime. No-Blitz is not an anime, but I've become obsessed with learning to draw different characters. So be on the watch for pics (mainly sketches) of characters from Naruto, OnePiece, MAR, Inuyasha, Bleach and D.N. Angel, just to name a few. I might still do Sonic, so just keep an eye out. Also, I will take a break from Captain's Log, seeing as I'm at a writer's block. I'll probably do some Kirby fan-art also.

Hey, DA. What's new? Sorry about that last journal-I was in a tough time. Thanks to those who offered support and hugs.

Anyway, in case you hadn't noticed...I finally drew Blitz! Yes, the main hero of my series has been put on paper! Not only that, but the logo for the show has been drawn as well! This is the first major step towards my goals! Thanks to any and all who helped me and offered me advice.

Now that I'm a step closer to my dreams...let me remind myself of what I have left to do:

Sorry for the lack of stuff, guys. I've been very busy with school work and my job. However, I have shortened my hours, leaving more time for homework and, yes, art.

English -write 4 short essays and 1 research paper

Fund/Art -none! yay!

Hey, fellow DA members. What's new?

I haven't done a journal for a while, I've just been so busy. Classes started again, and the teachers get straight to work. I'm also working 30 hours a week, and suffering from a minor head cold.

Also, my Misconception trilogy is coming to an end, and I have to focus any free time to make this become the best fan-fic I've ever written! (No, seriouly, I used to write totally crappy ones-this is my first really good one) I want to thank anyone and everyone who read and/or faved it, it means a lot that you like my writing.

My DA name, BloomBlitz, comes from my dream: to become an animation director and direct my very own cartoon called "Blitz". It's about a super-powered dog and his friend, a normal human girl named Bloom. I am very pleased to announce that very soon, I will finally be able to post a pic of what Bloom, Blitz, their town (Rurize), and several other characters look like. I am so happy about this! It's taken me a long time to come this far, and I'm proud of what I've come up with. I hope, when I post them, that you will like it too.

I bought Adobe Illustrator on eBay, and my friend is going to give me a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements. When I get them, and when I learn how to use them, expect some fantastic artwork!

In other news, the 7th (and last) Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is up for pre-order. The book costs about $35, but I believe its well worth it. I'm a huge HP fan, but I have conflicting feelings for this book; I want another HP book, but its the last one! If you want to pre-order at 40% off, click [link]

Sonic and the Scret Rings (Wii) sound really good, and I've only seen 1 old trailer online and saw an ad in a magazine, which included a paragraph about it. It comes out end of Feb. Tomorrow is my last day of my 1st semester of college! I have 2 finals, and then I'm done!
I must apolgize for the lack of artwork. Between finals, work, and the Sonic game (360) I have found little time to draw or write. If you noticed, Ch. 8 was my last chapter of the story for this year. However I have plans in store for X-Mas:
