Between the overload of school project the proffs have decided to cram into the last 3 weeks of school and the comic my stress level is at about a 4.

which is abnormal for me cuz normally its at like negative 8.
...I think im still in denial over how much crap i need to get done for school. And the comic pages now are barely making it out on time and its my fault. The character designs are getting far from what i want them to be. I can see what the characters should look like but it doesn't translate to my hand and its really bothering me. Blue is looking WAY to stiff and i don't know how to fix it. ugh.

Also, I have a series of 3 pieces i wanna spit out cuz the ideas have been kicking around in the back of my head since... ohh.. week before halloween? I'm almost done one... i swear.

We also found another talented artist's whose style we instantly fell in love with and got him to do 2 commissions for us. Seeing Blue and Aze done in another persons style was a wonderful wake up call. We're gonna be working hard to get the look and feel we want for The Revolution.

Pokeball earrings: $6 each

Game boy charms: $4 each

Simple Zohar: $4 (will be turned into necklace)

Penguins: $5 each

Pumkins: $3 for charm, $4 for necklace

Zelda Stones: $4 each

I think that covers most of it. Everything else will be $1 ad in my discard pile. lol. Please note all charms will be converted into cell phone charms with etra beads and what not for decoration. If it's not a cell then its a necklace and is $1 more.

I really hope i can sell most of my stuff, it's not great but eh. I need money for Kratos's shots. O.o

I feel like I found what style I'm comfortable with, and just stuck with it. And in doing so, getting myself stuck in a terrible rut. I'm not going to get better magically, i need to sit down, pile up the reference pictures, copy copy modify study draw. kratos is petting my pinky finger as i type...... anyways.

I've decided, every month this year i need to pick something new to lear how to draw, and for that one month just practice it til i get better. This is the only way i feel i can free myself from my super cartoon, neon vomit style.

i've had him for a week.
paid for his $140 trip to the vet cuz he had an eye infection.
will pay for his shots, his ball chopping, and if need be his declawing.
he's my cat and i'm in love with him already. he's currently chasing a spool of pink thread around my hardwood floor and being rather obnoxious about it.

I woke up this morning with him sleeping on my back, purring. he's too cute.

my parents still don't want him.

it sucks.

he climbs on EVERYTHING, and my mum doesn't like the sound of his nails digging into her disgustingly over-priced furniture. I try to assure her by saying when he's bigger he'll be able to jump up and wont climb.

my parents got to have all kinds of pets when they were growing up.
true, i have brooklyn, but my parents look after her most. Really, she's my mums dog because she loves my mum the most. and brooklyns old. i've never had a pet othe then brooklyn, so if she goes its not gonna be easy and maybe having another animal will make it easier. i like having the responsiblilty over a living thing. and saying he's "mine" you know? when i leave he's moving out too.
iunno.
he's my damn cat. i'm keeping him.

We worked for 8 hours straight today and got a LOT done. One final page, 2 which are in the process of being shaded, 4 more planned out and 2 more in the sketched out phase, plus a temporary website set up.

doesn't seem like a lot for 8 hours of work, but it took us a while to get the line art right. I think instead of doing it in pencil then live tracing in Illustrator, I'll just use the pen tool. it will take thrice as long, but will get better results.

It still has a long way to go, but at least we have a solid foundation now! Our art will get better with time. promise.

Also, starting with a night scene when ur still new at this- BAD IDEA

anyways, I digress.
