Neway, so the weather is getting colder (thank you Ida for the rain!) and the nights are finally longer and one of my favorite seasons is finally here!!! Seriously, I'm ready for winter, I'm ready for this semester to be over, I'm ready for the holidays, and I'm sure as hell readyt for my long ass winter break! However, with the end of the semester, that aslo bring finals -_- Crappy ass finals that have to be assigned at wierd times during the day. The tests themselves aren't hard (they're like any other test honestly) you just want to get done and leave and I will most likely have to retake math.....REALLY hate math.... shit I also have to get my dorm ready for the winter closing and make sure everything is SPOTLESS before we can actually leave campus...Blah...BUT I do have a fun break planned for this year with Hina. Only a few days after we get out we'll be going to see Disney's ' Princess and the Frog ' which I am sooooo looking forward to and can't wait to see! Seriously, I've been waiting since I first heard about it back in 2007 and all of the awesome stuff at D23 just makes me even more anxious to see it! X3 We'll also be heading back down to the city to the Aquarium and check it out which again, I'm really excited for. Ocean animals are LOVE! Saddly, the belugas will not be there -_- they're in Texas while they are fixing up the tank here and one of them died...AGAIN..So we are left with only two belugas now, hopefully they won't kill anymore before I get a chance to see them. Sewing days are also planned whenever we each have a day off seeing as we'll both be busting our asses working.. So far we'll be fixing up and repairing Peach (new wig maybe?) and Daisy to possibly wear to momocon depending on the weather. We'll probably also start on Ayeka and Tsunami too so we aren't hauling ass to finish during the last days of summer like last year XD.

D23 Disney's first ever convention, in Anahiem Ca.
~ Disneyland: Ok so this was my return to California for the first time in three years and this, by far, was the best trip out there I've had for a long LONG time. Thursaday night we flew into Ontario and went to In-N-Out. Friday was a sorta break day for us and we went to Disneyland.We were there basically from the time it opened at around 9-9:30 to the time that bitch closed at 12 at night. IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN and it was Hina's first time there so it made it even more special, rode everything we could, went to california adventure, got a nasty sunburn, cried in front of Walt Disney's statue, took pics of everything, got pics taken with several face characters, hung out in this badass animation building and once again starting crying in that place. Saw the fireworks and heard there was a fist fight going on too XD and we ate awesome sandwichs from the River Belle Terrace and ate in one of the ally ways in New Orleans section where the band pelted us with beads..Only complaint was shit being closed for Halloween revamping and the new parade ><.

(ok we had no idea these guys were going to be there until we saw their names on a sign for autographs at a booth. We managed to be the second people in line to see them and waited an hour past the time they were supposed to show up before they told us they weren't able to make it...We almost cried, we were so upset you have no idea..So anyway, we got and put some stuff in my car and decided to check out a display on another floor, so were looking around getting pics and the all of a sudden Clemments and Musker come walking around the MUTHER FUCKING CORNER! I seriously almost pissed myself. How fucking lucky were we!? Told we would see them, then we're face to face with them! sadly, we couldn't really talk with them because they were being interviewed, but still...OMG...It was awesome.)

Andreas Deja [character animator for Gaston, Jafar, Scar, etc.] Hugged him.
(We were watching Musker and Clemments when I look over and see 'Holy goddamn shit' Andreas Deja...FUCKING DEJA MAN! We WERE able to talk with him for a while and Hina got a pick with him, sadly he was about to be interviewed so I never got one >< but it was just great to be able to meet him in person XD!)

Mary Costa [voice of Aurora/Briar Rose]
(She was right next to us at the Sleeping Beauty screening, seriously, I could smell her perfume XD Awesome lady too, it was great hearing recall her stories with Walt and Matt Davis)

Floyd Norman [animator in Sleeping Beauty]
(Awesome little dude, he started with Disney when he was my age, he was also part of the 'Fairy Unit' for Sleeping Beauty, he animated the 'cake making' scene ^^)

A bunch of other people that I can't remember off the top of my head. Did meet lots of great people that were just attending though. So fun.
(A freelance prop maker that made ships and shit for Star Trek and lots of other films. He gave us some really great advice on prop making, materials, and about the industry.)

Hina also got to wear the engineer model for Aurora's tiara. It was huge, gold, and heavy!
(I thought the guy was joking when he asked me if I wanted to try it on XD! I didn't were it though, too embarassed XD!)

Disney Bridal also had a booth too and omg, I want a disney wedding now XD!

Also got to see some great new attractions going in the future! When we got home my feet were killing me and when I took my shoes off, my socks were all bloody lol.

The last day we went and hung out at Venice Beach, Newport, and of course Balboa which was a fun relaxing day checking out all the freaks and medical pot clinics lol.
It seriously, was such a fun trip and I hope I can do things like that with Hina again ^^.

This trip overall has seriously inspired and motivated me to work harder and do what ever I can to be part of this company. It was also kind of depressing in a way too, but its funny, the current and veteran animators I look up to recall feeling the same way too ^^.

AWA: Seriously, the best AWA yet I think. I had so much fun and I'm so happy Hina and I were able to finish and fix up some costume shit including our wigs never arriving and soo...SO much hassle with Hina's Zipper DX We were up til 3 in the morning on sat. and up again at 7 finishing til 11 before she could wear it. But everything worked out great and Peach and Daisy were really great (and comfy) to wear. Work has been owning my ass lately, I go to school for four days and then work all day during the three days I'm off, so yeah, no days of for me. However, the money is good, especially since wages went up and I'm making ALOT more than last year during school which is good now that I'm helping my parents pay for college. We're already planning and filling out shipping orders for Valentine's Day (busiest day for florists) things will now start picking up again too with the holiday season about to start, which means more hours for me.

College is my top priority at this point. Most of my classes are cool, some can go fuck themselves but whatever. The classes themselves are easy, but the work load is alot heavier than last year fun fun fun. Also, tests in all my classes this week. Fuck my life.

But this weekend, Hina and I will be flying out to California for Disney's first D23 convention and of course a day at Disney Land ^^. We'll also be taking a trip to the Pacific ocean, most likely Newport and Balboa beach for the day and evening. It's been several years since I've been back to California and the beach so I'm looking forward to it and for a weekend off for once.

Weekend after we come back from Cali, it will be time for AWA which I am not ready for ><. Peach still needs a few things done and so does Hina's Daisy so we'll probably be busy finishing that up on Friday. Due to some personal things and bad planning on my part, I won't have Sheryl with me in time for AWA. Hopefully I'll finish her for something next year, I'm seriously considering dropping the lion outfit and doing the blue 'General' uniform or maybe even the flights suit. We'll see. Looking forward to awa though and seeing some peeps ^^.

As for art, I had alot of submissions recently, but now I'm in a huge block and of course once I'm busy with school and have no time, then that's when I'll get in the mood and ideas to draw again.

So now his fat butt and his many MANY pillows and blanket that he can't sleep without take up most of my empty floor space forcing my to sew around him and keep a lint brush on hand constantly.

Aside from my bitching, I must say tell to everyone to see Pixar's 'Up'. I swear it's probablly my favorite Pixar/ 3D film period. It was sweet, funny, and I love the rotties and dobbies X3. I've never cried that much for ANY movie ever in my life. Seriously, Hina and I were both crying and hiding it from each other XD. I swear Disney has some of the best writers ever and I love some of the messages they are putting in their films. Also, they had a Trailer for 'The Princess and the Frog' of course it wasn't a new trailer, but it was on the big screen which made me wig out in my seat XD. God I can't wait to see this film, now I just wish they would show a pic of Charlette! I wouldn't mind cosplaying as Disney's snooty Southern belle. ^^

May is also in full swing and again, it's proving to be a freakin busy and hectic month for me, especially towards the end. My lil brother is graduating,then my birthday, then 'UP', and then the photoshoot. This is all pretty much happening within the same week and i hate it. I really need to work on Sheryl but I keep getting hooked, I threw away like two of her patterns that I really needed and lost the thread and zipper I bought so I get go out and spend more money YAY! I don't know if she'll be done by the end of may, but I'm to the point of not caring anymore, I hate rushing and work leaves me exhausted now so it's hard to work on it afterwards. Luckily, the petitcoat is turnout out well and it's the first one I've ever made so woot woot for that atleast XD.

As for Jane -_- I'm working on the mock up and still stumped on fabric, twill is good, but I'm just worried about the heat, especially after my last experience with it...so many broken needles ><. Once the outfit is broken down though, it's pretty simple especially after I found a hat pattern lol, can't wait to match with Hina XD.

This year also seems to be going bay pretty fast too, I still can't believe awa is right around the corner, of course I haven't been counting down the days like I was last year lol.

Speaking of art, I'm entering a piece in an 'Anti-Valentine's Day' art gallery, not that I have anything against Valentine's day, I'm just allowed to draw something dark and hopefully sell it for some spare cash (because I need it......Badly).
Oh! Holy Crap! The freakin' Veronicas!!! I'm totally in love with these girls! I'm seriously hooked man! I listened to 'Untouched' like 19 times (I shit you not!) the first night I got it XD. I don't know I've just been listening to alot of good GOOD music lately.

Oh...Oh..OH! It's starting to get warmer! I can come out of my hole now (actually it's not ><;)! I'm seriously going to get out in the sun somemore this year, I'm think I'm getting sick from the whole ';pale' crap I've been doing for the past four years. Also, I'm considering getting some help with stress/anger management, my mom's worried I'm going to end up like a certain someone (dad) and just hate everything in life (Like I don't already right? XD) and I don't want to die before I reach 30 and it's Free so I might as well....Of course....Drugs would work just as well lol j/k.

The first one that is for sure is Jane Judith Jocelyn from Trinity Blood paired with Hina as Mary Spencer. I'm am soooo excited to start this. We get these awesome and gorgous detailed navy/pirate uniforms and hats that look like whale fins XD. We'll also be entering these in the costume contest for AWA together. This will be our first time competing so it'll be exciting for sure. I was surprised that I was actually able to convince her to cosplay from TB, but people mistake us for sisters enough already so matching costumes will be awesome ^^.

Shampoo from Ranma 1/2. I love shampoo and I have been putting it off for so long that I just had to do it now. This will be more of a cheaper costume using just a plain cotton. The wig though will be a new thing for me making odangos and such. Also my first non natural colored wig. Woot woot. I'm going to try to finish it for momocon.

Giselle's pink Andalasia dress. I'm on a Enchanted high right now and I already have the pattern and it's so simple. This is actually my last priority atm, but I do want to make this dress at some point before I start working on her wedding dress.

Lately I've been cramming for exams coming up this week in Gov. and in U.S. history so I've been pretty busy with that. I must have read like 90 pages last nigh lol. About to do it again too O.o

Ok enough with school crap. Fall's coming and the weather/time is starting to change. It's weird, things look alot different with just a small season change even though it's the structures I see everyday. Sadly, no nearby fabric stores though >< I want to find some really weird or cool fabrics that jo anns won't have. Oh yeah, the whole grave yard thing is crap. They hire actors. Wtf?! They were just looking for ushers and crowd control. Still it's pretty cool, but there is no way I want to be near that area at night especially after walking under the bridge with all of the 'turds' on the sidewalk.

Neway, also been thinking about some future costumes for momocon and AWA (already lol).

I think I'll just be bringing two next year. One to wander and one to wear on Sat for the day and hopefully the contest.
