In other news I'll be pretty busy with the DHL. Same story as the DHT OC Tournament except it there is no grand prize. Its just for fun and practice. And you chose your match ups.

Hmm...sounds easy enough. I think I'll do my main man Lance for this one.

8 FACTS?!? What kinda random numba is that?

1.Lance is my main Original Character. Although I sometimes loathe his existence, I just can't dispose of him on account of the fact that I made him is 5th grade. I CAN'T LET GO OF THE GUY!

2. He was originally a sidekick! Thats right. The main character of my comics used to be a chick! But in the end...my male instincts switched their roles.

3. His hair is red. Its hard to describe in the comics because "Red hair" means orange in real life so its hard to pick the right adjectives.

4.Lance, the dumbest of all the characters. Although he is the leader, he is barely the man with the plan. Until the end of the comic where his idiot-instincts find the path to success!

5.He ages with me. He started at like 13 years old and now hes 17. I think I'm gonna stop at 17...or maybe tell his life story as I become an adult. ^_^ The adventures of an OLD MAN! I can see it now. The title causes excitement to resonate inside me!

6. Not much of a perv. If he sees a pretty lady he'll be completely oblivious to her even if she was butt naked. Heh bad images there sorry. XD

7.He loves meat. Hes like an anti-vegetarian. The only veggies he will eat are salads....PLANT SALADS (important) in particular!

8. He has a pet rock named Flintmore. And a pet twig named Twigmore. Twigmore is an inanimate twig while Flintmore is a evil demonic rock golem that takes the form of a pebble. He emerges from his disguise and turns into his true form whenever someone doubts that he is a living breathing rock to PROVE THEM WRONG! Flintmore did make an appearance in my old sprite comics.

Well...that's it guys. This is where Summer is officially coming to a close.

Yeah I'm still barely going on here. But I'm doing better than in the middle of summer!

Also expect more flash crap cuz its so fun to make that stuff! ^_^

Today I'm going to Gameunicon with a buncha friends. Its about 20 minutes from my house and its basically a place where people can come and play video games all day, and participate in Smash Bros, Halo, Guitar Hero, DDR, Gears of War, Pokemon, Tetris tournaments or just play for fun. They also got foreign games, cosplay, boot babes (ug >_< ) and of course...FOOD! It lasts till sunday and it never closes till then (so its open at like 3:00AM) and its gonna be awesome.

So yeah that's it...ENJOY THE REST OF THE SUMMER GUYS!!

Yeah...I haven't been on here to comment on all your art guys! Sorry about that! ^_^' I just can't find the time to use the Internet!

In other news I'm also in the "3d Art" camp where we learn how to model stuff in 3d. I suck at modeling but animating is cake. Pretty much all the people there are awesome. All anyone talks about is video games and anime and crap.

Except theres this ONE guy who is a real mood-killer because he only talks about how he grew out of video games, anime and stuff and that geeky stuff like that is for babies and that he's only there because his parents forced him and angst angst angst, every single day!

Darn, I'm out of the DHT Original Character Tournament! But luckily 2 out of my 3 friends are still going! Come on guys you can do it!

I'll try again next year and maybe compete in another OCT until then.

I'm also going to the beach today....and its supposed to rain too making even awesomer! Couldn't of picked a better day eh mom and dad. >_<

Also, I need some poll ideas! Gimme some suggestions please. Which reminds me I got a Facebook.....but there ain't much to to there except accepting friend requests from people I've never heard of and talking to my friends which I already do on DA and on AIM. So yeah...

In other news I figured out how to texture hack in Super Smash Bros. And in English that means you can change the colors of the characters, stages, and items by recoloring them in Photoshop!For example some one took Kirby [link] and recolored him in photoshop to look like EVE from Wall-E [link] and even Plusle [link] and Minun [link] . Some one even recolored Samus to look like Chell from Portal and Ike to look like Naruto. Its pretty cool, and its supposed to be easy if you know "basic Photoshop knowledge" so I'll give it a whirl! Maybe I'll recolor the hammer items to look like T.A.P.

Woo I'm back from "vacation" and obviously the first thing I do when I come back is to check my 107 messages on deviantART.

In other news I surprizingly won my first DHT round! XD I'm really glad. But to beat my next opponent I'm gonna have to make a WAAAAY better comic than my last one. It'll prolly be black and white too cause color made one comic panel take 3-5 hours. >_< And the deadline is really tight!

And in other other news I got and beat Starfy. Very good DS game. Its a strange blend of RPG and Platforming because its HUGELY plot based, like it'll break into cut scenes every few minutes in a stage. The characters were great though. My fav was Moe the Clam. He was hilarious. XD He said so many memorable quotes such this one part in the story where he mentions how its strange that video game characters forget all their moves when ever they get a new game.

And its almost July 4th! Woo Fireworks! Hopefully it wont rain this time though... T_T

Yeah so the Dark Horse Tournament (DHT) has just begun on Sunday. If you didnt get the memo, its a yearly Original Character tournament where you pit your OCs against other OCs in a number of different contests ranging from fighting to beach volleyball XD. There are 64 contestants and prizes for every single one including free requests, a poster of the top 8 contestants and a free subscription.

So for the next few months my deviations will mostly be, if not all, entries for the contest.

1. What does your deviantart name mean and why did you join this site?
I used to always name myself NEEDLEKIRBY on websites because it was my favorite Kirby Copy Abillity (when Kirby eats a needle/spike/spiney enemey he becomes "Needle Kirby") but one time I was joining a site and that name was taken. So I decided to use the name BOMBKIRBY because it was my 2nd favorite abillity at the time. Then I started making sprite comics and I used "Bomb Kirby" as the protagonist because it fit my name. And ever since then, I've been pretty much the ONLY BOMBKIRBY on the web.

2. What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined and what are you into now?
Then: None, just general video games, now that I look back.

Now: None still.

My obsessions never last over a week.

3. How many watchers do you have now?
39! CURSE MY FANART! XD

Thats a toughy. Theres so many.

But I really like how well Berrixkissess, ktCoope and Zkrox draw.

I do both equally because commenting without faving is vastly known as bad manners on DA (I got yelled at XD and theres even a bunch of STAMPS about it) so I've been doing both equally, lately.

So far...only the Dark Horse Tournament. And that hasn't even started!

7. What is your most popular deviation?
"Engineering Flying Machine" Prolly cuz its a WoW comic which, according to DA Advertisements, has over 11 million players worldwide. XD So obviously a buncha people have searched it up.

"I wish I could use Photoshop more effectively." - Illuminatii AND I wanna learn to use that new tablet AND I wanna sit down and actually try and draw a human hand right.

Theres this interesting tournament that some one on DA made up where you enter your OCs into a battle tournament. Each entry is paired with another one and then you have to make a comic/story of the battle they have. You can pick from cool scenarios such as a car chase fight or just have them plain old fight.

The INTERESTING part to me is the rewards!

Now chances are I wouldn't win but I MAY take part in it. I know its a really hard burden to do (if u make comics or illustrations) but it sounds kinda fun. Well thanks for all LOOKING at my page and helping my page view count GROW!

In other news, I'm working on those 2 last requests but something always goes wrong. Like for instance, usually the pic comes out wrong so I start over again. Or sometimes I run outta ink or even worse....pencil lead!!! And my least favorite...I left them at my hotel room in Vermont while I was college hunting...oh well. TIME TO TRY ONCE MORE!!!

I also figured out how to take Super Smash Bros. screen shots and transfer them to my computer. I'm debating if they should go here cause I have some HIGHlarious ones but I dunno if that'd really count as "photography."

In speaking of Super Smash Bros, me and a buncha friends went to a tournament for it!!! And....lost miserably. They need to ban adults from those to give us kids and teens a chance to win! Our reflexes aren't fully developed!!! Well, at least we met some nice...and also mean...people!

Lance Strongwood

Just Lance because no really cares or says for his last name.

3) Is your character a boy or girl? A dude, a chico, a guy ,a male, a boy.

4) How old is he/she? HeÂs 16. He and the other characters and the setting age with me.

5) What's his/her race?
Hes a human. Plain and simple!

(Simple and clean...when u walk away, you don't hear me say..pleeeeeease oh baby....blah blah yeah.....KH1)

Appearance:
1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the real world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?

Not many. He comes from a place where they dress fairly similar to us except he wears battle gloves, shoulder pads and has blood red hair which MIGHT turn a few heads maybe. Plus the big cartoony eyes might freak some people out.

He'd maybe he'd just get beat up and made fun of.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?

Yeah, except he inherited his Dad's fighting skills so he can use these special techniques that only a few people around the world can do. Two of those people are his parents. Then again he IS dumber than any human being should be allowed to be...thats pretty weird.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?

I suppose his blood red hair and his big roundish eyes. Only two people in the entire series thing have eyes shaped like that. When I first thought up Lance I was really young and just started learning how to draw the human figure and I only could draw those big upside down U eyes so all the characters had them. Then when I got older I switched to these smaller but still fairly toony eyes but I kept Lance's (and one other person's) eyes the the same upside down U shape they always had.

4) Would you consider your character as attractive?
Nope. Hes not ugly but not a complete heartthrob! Hes just like....so dumb...that he's adorable.

Personality:
1) Temper
He always excited all the time but he starts wining and yelling when he gets stuck doing something boring.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Nope, he has never expressed serious sorrow ever, usually just silly tears when saying goodbye to a dear old friend.

3) Leader or Follower?
He is the "leader" of the group and the main character but usually doesn't decide on where/what the gang is going to do but is more about deciding on how to do stuff. He usually chooses the fun way or challenging way....or the just plain stupid way. Like if there was a bridge across a canyon he'd most likely try leaping across the canyon because its "fun and challenging" rather than walking across a bridge.

4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Utter stupidity, silly, funny, absolutely lucky (or unlucky) beyond good reason.

History:
1) Does your character have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Yep! He grew up with his Uncle/Aunt thinking his parents died. And during his 1st adventure he keeps running into this mysterious man who turns out to be his father. And in a later comic that I never finished he gets to meet his mom but I won't go into more detail cause its an annoying story and I'm losing my patience with this survey.

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Nope. Currently he travels with 3 other friends doing jobs at the local tavern to make money and before that he traveled with 2 different people plus 1 of the current ones on a quest to retrieve a mystical Sapphire Orb.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Well he died at the end of his first adventure by getting stabbed through...but he got healing from his father before death claimed him, but he barely remembers it.

First off all its Mid year exam week so I missed 2 exams on Monday because the....inag..ur...ition...Eggnog...was on Monday. So NOW I gotta make up the Exams after school on friday. Thats about 4 hours after school. >.<

Secondly it was fricking COLD! >.< I mean like -20 degrees Fahrenheit (-28.8 degrees Celsius) and my face was like frozen off, SERIOUSLY, like when we left I had cuts on my forehead from the coldness T_T! It also was crowded and people there were complete morons so if you walked into a group of people...you were trapped forever! (Well more like 10 minutes...)

Thirdly I had to stay for the parade (that ended at like 8PM and we got there at 9AM) and they sold pretty much no food, only candy at CVS (which is NOT a bad thing!

) Well, we DID get to leave at 6PM but we had to drop my sis off at her college which is 2 hours away and then we had to drive all the way back to Massachusetts and ended up arriving home at...guess what...4:37 in the morning!

School starts at 7:30 by the way so I got like 2 hours of sleep. T_T And the next day was more exams. >.< I barely could stay away.I woulda slept in the car but I wanted to keep my dad awake so we didn't crash into a wall and die a terrible, grueling, non-explosive death! T_T

So here I am....yeah. Oh yeah and the reason my parents stayed for the parade was so they could see Obama but guess what! Hes in a LIMO! With TINTED windows! My sis thought she saw maybe his hand.

So I learned...a lot, as you can tell. Fun stuff.

In other news I went to Pennsylvania to visit my sis at her college (its called Bryn Mawr if your wondering and its one snazzy place! Looks like Hogwarts from Harry Potter!) and it was a 6-hour trip from Massachusetts, which wasnÂt all that fun for my butt. I tried drawing and doing homework in the car but thanks to lazy roadwork, it was far too bumpy to even lift a pencil. Luckily I had my DS/I-Pod to keep my eyes and ears company. YAY TECHNOLOGY!

In other OTHER news my friend is kinda groundedÂgrrÂcandy stealerÂ. And loaned me his PS2 cause he obviously isnÂt gonna use it while grounded. That means I finally get to play through Kingdom Hearts. IÂm so close to beating it, just need to kill the last boss then IÂll go and try beating Sephiroth and then IÂll move on to Kingdom Hearts 2. But I gotta hurry cause I only get the PS2 till Christmas!

Good story, REALLY corny, cheesy, confusing, but cool at the same time.

My costume (the one I really wanna do) is to dress as a silhouette. Basically I'll look like a walking shadow/silhouette. (Like the people in Sega's "Feel the Magic!") It'll look so cool if it works but and I'll stick a picture up on here if it turns out great!

I also have a pathetic back up costume if my silhouette one fails but its an inside joke so I won't even TALK about it or show it on here! XD

In other news my sis visited me on the previous week from college.

But now shes gone.

Oh well, I'll see her soon enough next vacation!

Um...oh boy what else can I say...hmm...oh I know! I'll babble about video games. If you got a DS and you never played a Kirby game go out and buy "Kirby Superstar Ultra." Its awesome. I finally beat it (100% which was really hard and tedious!) If you already own a Kirby game tho, feel free to skip out on this one though because it barely differs from previous installments (not to mention its a remake of a previous title!) Also I got Mario RPG on the virtual console, made by Square Enix. Its so awesome and funny. Its like Final Fantasy mixed with Mario, funny stuff.

I also bot Brisigr, the 3rd Eragon book.I haven't actually read past paragraph one cause I've been REALLY busy but I'm ready to read it in my free time. Since I'm on the topic of Eragon I HAVE TO say that that series's renditions on Elves are so frigging CHEAP! Not onyl are Elves stronger than Humans, but they are FASTER, SMARTER, BETTER at magic, and worst of all...BETTER LOOKING THAN HUMANS! I mean, if they were all that and butt ugly, I wouldn't mind, but if your all of that AND prettier than humans then your just plain CHEATING! T_T

The summer this year wasn't even that great. Usually we go somewhere far away and really awesome but we just slouched at home and didn't even go to ANY amusement parks. But maybe...JUST maybe we can go to one on Labor Day weekend!

....I'll keep dreaming.

I shoulda made a pic saying "goodbye summer" but the evil lazy monster bit me in the butt so I didn't do it.

Well I guess that's all the negative babbling I got left in me.

Now...ON TO THE POSITIVE STUFF!

Well now that summer is over I'll get to see all those nice people at school. And since I got better at drawing I think I should openly express my art more on my belonging, such as binders, notebooks, and shirts!

That'd be sweet cause know one really knows I can draw at all and every year some random jock kid earns the spot of "most artistic" in year books and the school paper. But hopefully I can change that b4 I graduate!

Well maybe the school year won't be so bad...maybe it'll be...FUN...ROFL AM I KIDDING MYSELF?!?!

And on a random note, ya know those stupid ads on this website? Well one time I got tired of em popping up so I clicked on one. It was the one with the girl with the black dress and white hair, she usually is reaching out at you or something. And yeah...one thing led to another and I began to play the game it linked to. (I can't remember the name of it for the life of me!) Yeah so...its a fun little mmorpg. Its not addictingly fun like other mmos I have played but its more like a "I'm bored I think I'll play that mmo for 15 minutes." So its not all THAT great but it is still not half bad, and its free! (Unless u wanna create more characters but WHY WOULD YOU WANNA START ALL OVER AGAIN!?!) Yep so thats the stupid story.

And FINALLY I have to say that I am so excited for November! There are so many games coming out like Kirby Super Star Ultra and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood and a whole lot more! Which reminds me....I just got a job (at MickeyD's) so I won't be that busy on DeviantArt anymore....oh well.

I'll miss you guys.

In other news I got a funny game called Guilty Gear XX Accent Core. Omg what a strange awsome game. Its a 2d fighter (like Soul Calibur or street fighter) with the greatest cast of wierdos EVER! I suppose that calls for fanart (which I dislike a bit now cause its just an excuse for pageviews and comments) so expect to see some of the strangest freaks you've ever seen in your LIFE on my Deviant Art. Oh Faust...

I got a little reputation there for being a good Ice Climber player!

They got Captain Falcon, Falco, Lucario, Luigi, Toon Link, Krystal from Star Fox and a freaky boss designed by the Final Fantasy guys, master hand is BACK, Ridely is a boss and even R.O.B. is playable! It looks sooooooo awsome and I want the game right now!

I saw new stages and characters and cut scenes! I am so EXCITED! I just can't wait till March 9th! And this week Gamestops in America get Brawl Demos in their stores so me and my buddies will be practicing up till it comes out, OH YEAH BABY!

In other news a made a comic and added my first stuff to my scrapbook.

Can't wait for Feb. Vacation!
