Just wanna tell you guys that I haven't made any progress in my WIP's (I GOT A BUNCH FYI) in here because I'm dealing with my class projects right now...And I'm like a class behind. My time management skills kind of...abandoned me, you see. Not really sure if I ever had one, though

Man, why am I so flaky? I really wanna get rid of this habit because this has been holding me back for ages now. I should probably talk to a counselor about it or something.

Anyway, in other news, I just got a hold of a color erase pencil. This thing is so goddamn useful. I can't believe I've never heard of it before. It made me look forward to drawing traditionally again.

Things happened so fast. Called 'em last week, then they set me up for an interview/assessment the next day, and BAM! The next thing you know school starts on Wednesday. I was all like, "whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa" for ten whole minutes.

I thought maybe I could start later so that I can get me some precious student loan and study full-time, but hey, they wanted me to start right away, says I've wasted enough time. Not sure about my decision, but yeah...I'm excited and scared at the same time HOLY SHIT WISH ME LUCK YOU GUYS I'M BEGGING YOU I HOPE I'M NOT OVERREACTING HERE CAPS IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL

And I'd be really grateful if any of you experienced art students got some hot tips for me you guys :]

The lions ambushed a herd of buffalos, and cornered a calf in the water. But then a crocodile appeared out of nowhere and tried to snatch the calf from the lions. After a brief tug-o-war with the croc, the buffalo herd came back and put up a fight. Hopefully, they chased the lions away and saved the baby buffalo. What's amazing is that the calf managed to stand and walk away after getting gripped by deadly jaws of two kinds of predator.

Freakin' epic.

...Well, there's no progress to report actually...I'm too busy wasting my time (lol paradox) playing Elite Beat Agents. It's the western version of "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!", a japanese rhythm game for the DS. If you're a fan of Ouendan, then you should check this game out too. The game's like crack, I tell you. And no, the game doesn't suck just because it doesn't have Japanese songs in it. In fact, I'm gonna go ahead and say that this game has a far more BETTER songlist than Ouendan (imo, of course). There are some songs in there that I dislike, but it really didn't matter because most scenarios fit very well with the songs. Madonna's "Material Girl" for example. I wouldn't be caught dead listening to that the song, but the story played with it is just hilarious. The only stage I truly hate is the one with Cher's song, "Believe." Man, its story and that song just plain sucked. Other than that, most of the songs kick ass. So to japanophiles out there: Please keep an open mind for this game, will ya? It truly is most excellent ;]

I'm currently trying to clear the final stage on Hard Rock mode, but those spinners keep killing me dammit. Man, why are they so hard to spin? It doesn't stop me from playing it though, because the music is great.

Anyway, it inspired me to make a fanart for it. I haven't submitted anything for awhile, so I'll put a drawing up later. Haha, I love doing fanarts.


Oh, and I haven't abandoned that doorbuster animation I mentioned months ago. It is currently at about 90% completion, making the climax build-up sequence. I've also been editing it here and there, making it uncrappy as possible. The progress is reeeaallly slow, I know, but don't worry, I WILL get it done. There's no reason to stop now.

So yeah, those are screenshots from my own version of Multilockon's popular animated gif about busting a door [link] . My version's purpose is the same, just with different attacks and lots of parodies. This is one reason why I haven't submitted anything lately. I don't want to start another project until I finish this one. It's right about 80% done...but don't expect it to be finished soon

And yes, I know it's not really original, but it's not meant to be. I just wanted to see another version of the thing. I'm looking forward to college and get either graphics design or digital animation, though I'm not sure which one yet. I'm planning to enroll next year though, and work part-time for the time being. I want to save a little bit of money so that paying student loans won't be a big problem.

Aaanyway I'll worry about all that after this summer (except for getting a job). Right now I just want to relax and finish an animation I've been working on since last year. Plus I haven't been active here in DA for the past several months, so I'll make this an opprtunity to look around.
