First off, I just have a lack of inspiration. As you know, when I'm inspired to draw, I will draw a few drawings and probably post em up right away, cause it only ever hits me THAT hard. I don't know why, but I just haven't been struck in a long time...

Also, pulling out a common one here; school. I think, though, that my reasons are a little diffrent. See, I'm in college, and honestly, I only have about 2 hours of classes a day. But where my course makes up is in project. I have a lot of things to do outside class, not to mention a lot of writing and 10 hours of radio shows every second week. Now, even this isn't a lot, but I'm the type of person who works in class, and if I do one thing outside of class it pretty much drains me. It's the same for work, I'll have to work on it...

Well, how about my reviews? Well, this has to do with all the writing I have to do for my course. See, one of my year long assignments is to make a blog and make at least a page worth of updates week. I figured and easy way to do this was to post up a weekly video game review I already did for a radio show, a article called "Things I Like" then one random entry sometimes based on what we discuss in class. I also post up the audio version of my video game reviews (I call them "Level Up"). Ok, so, some of you might know about the blog I have for my works I can't post on DA (mostly due to nudity). If you don't well... you kinda missed your chance (not yet though).

See, as a class project, I have to start a blog. I feel that, if I have two, it risks confusion and I honestly don't want my teachers or potential employers to find some of those works since it could give them false impressions. This is also why I chose to go by Boomer B. Omb instead of my real name on most sites.
I also feel like the blog is a little useless, mostly since people essensially know what's going on with the censored pics here and comment and fav on them anywyas. Also, that the uncensored pics are also found on Rule 34 most of the time (which if a teacher or employer finds it there AND figures out its me, there's something to be questioned there).

Anyways, I'll delet it when I get around to it. I'll also link you guys to the new blog once I'll make it. It will probable let you know a bit more about me personally since I'll have to update it once a week.

My job ended a few weeks ago. That weekend, I buy Punch-Out for 45$. A week later I start looking for a Sega Genesis while school is starting. I got 6 games for it and Chrono Cross for PS. Now I'm still looking for Genesis games online. I'm also looking forward to DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5 and Kingdom Hearts 358/2.

Where the hell am I planning on getting the money and time for my video game addiction?

1.) How long have you been playing video games?

I remember playing when I was 4, so at least 16 years.

2.)Who are your favorite VG publishers/creators?

Nintendo gets out on this list without question. Also, Activision has been pretty good to me in recent years. And I would add Rare onto this list, but I haven't played much of their games since they stopped making ones for Nintendo.

3.)What was your very first video game you ever played?

First one I remember is the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt game.

4.)What game consoles do you currently own?

SNES, N64, Gamecube (though it's back home), Wii, PS, GBA, DS and DS lite (won that one in a contest)

5.) What video games do you have for them?

Ugh, the list would take too long for me to type out. Which reminds me, I should update those pics I put up a while back with all my games.

6.) What VG consoles do you want that you don't yet have?

NES would be pretty cool to own. Also, a PS2 if I can find one cheap enough. And Dreamcast would be sweet, just for Power Stone.

7.) Are there any VG's that you are dying to get that you don't yet have?

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 (or something like that). DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5 and Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's Inside Story all seem pretty cool too, but I'm a little wary.

8.) Are there any VG consoles or games you will not lay a finger on? Why?

Consoles? No, mostly cause even if they are infamously bad, I'd like to play it to witness it. As for games, I tend to stay away from most sports games and racing games (except Mario Kart)

9.) Should Jack Thompson shut up about video games being evil and vile?

Every one should shut up about that subject. Made a report on it.

10.) Any last words about VG's?

I would like casual gamers to be aware that they are casual games and also be aware of what that means in terms of their role in the gamer community. But of course, don't get me wrong, they are still gamers, so I don't hate them, but they are a diffrent breed and should stop thinking they are like the others.

Alright, so, I know that I've been pretty inactive around here other then my comments and favs. The last journal I posted was a chain letter and before that a meme. I also only posted up 5 drawings all summer, only 3 of which were actually drawn during the summer. My reviews have slowed down a little, but there was a point where I was doing pretty good. Right now I have 3 reviews on the go, don't know when I'll put them up. The most recent game I bought was Punch-Out, but I won't write a review of that since my friend Bob ( ) pretty much summed it up, so I'll just link you to his review [link] . However, I will write reviews for most of the other games I bought and movies I saw.

So, for most of the summer, I've been working at a radio station: CKRH, Radio Halifax Metro. It's a french community radio station. Like the one I worked at last year, but you know... here. Actually, its alot younger and smaller, so I had to do alot more work. Felt good honestly, kept me busy. Also made alot of money (somewhere over 3000$).

Other then that, I've been going out with my friend more often (mostly bars on wing nights, yum-yum). There have also been a few other events I went to. First off, there was a concert featuring the Offspring I went to, it was really cool, crazy crowd. The band Trooper played a couple of weeks ago too, which I think was alot better, but that might be cause I was drunk by the end and the crowd was alot more respectable, but the band still rocked as much as their reputation. There was also a buskers festival I saw a few times (diffrent proformers) which was pretty cool. OH, one of the most awesome things was a zombie walk. A bunch of people (me included) dressed up like zombies and walked through downtown (on the hottest day of the year of course). It was a so cool. If you have me on facebook, you saw the pics.

But of course most of that was on the weekend. I did have one vacation while I was working to go back home during the Festival Acadien (though I only saw one concert and had an amazingly busy weekend). I also had a week off before my internship started, after my internship ended (before work started) and I'm currently enjoying the second half of a week off before school starts. I'm mostly filling in the days with booze, sleeping and movies. And Punch-Out of course ( [link] ). And Restaurant City on Facebook (look it up if you have it, it's so addicting). And though it seems that school hasn't even started yet, and already we have like 3 class parties planned. This is going to be a fun year.

I really don't know what's going on for my drawings. It seems I haven't been inspired while I was working, so maybe it'll pick up if I'm bored at school. And don't even talk about coloring. It doesn't help that I have like no ideas, despite there being two contest journals in my DA message box. This seems a little weird, since I normally have so many ideas for other people to draw, but I can't come up with ideas of my own? If you guys have any ideas, feels free to pitch em or something. Maybe just brainstorm or bounce ideas around. Maybe I'll make a punch-out drawing? ( [link] ) (I don't know why I'm promoting his review so much, he didn't ask me to or anything )

I'll probably either draw with my free time, or learn how to play the accordion. Of course I say that every year before I get me schedule...

Ed McMahon- I can't really say I knew much of him, but I did know of him. To be fair, he's pretty much a symbole in talk shows and known as one of the worlds best sidekicks. I think he's been a little overlooked after he died, and wasn't give enough attention.

Farrah Fawcett- Except for hearing her name a few times here and then, I didn't know who she was until just a month ago, when I watched a bio-pic about the making of Charlie's Angles. She was definatly a big sex symbole from the 1970's and immortalized by her popular poster. Her death was quite sad, with how slow it was, and I heard she had recently gotten married...

Michael Jackson- I know that, like everyone else, I have used this guy as a punch line, but when it got down to it, I had some respect for the guy. I mean, the guy could DANCE! He was a good song writer and an awesome correograph with some original ideas for music videos at the time. Another reason why I really like him is, I think if it weren't for him, Weird Al wouldn't be the man he is today (let's face it, before Eat It, he didn't have much success). He completely changed Pop music, music videos and the music industry as we know it today, and I think a man with that much impact desserves respect. The last couple of decades, we saw him fall, but it must of been confusing having the life he had; pretty much at 5, they said "your not going to have a life, just fame!" I hope he'll be remembered for his entire life, instead of just recent events.

Billy Mays- I think I was a fan of him BEFORE it was cool (BEFORE Vince was on the scene). As a matter of fact, for a school project, I made a mock informercial copying his style and I even say "This works better then OXYCLEAN!" (Great line, everyone laughed). A true icon of advertising, his style is often copied, but will never be duplicated (GOT IT Vince?). Since I'm in radio and part of that is doing commercials, I followed this guy alot, so this hits me harder then MJ personally. I hope he gets a little bit of media attention, and doesn't get too over shadowed, especially since they died at the same age (50, seriously?). Billy Mays, I will miss you.

"POST A PICTURE ALREADY!"

ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT! God, brb...

Ok back, posted a picture up... god...

Alright, so to explain my day, I have to start at last night. I had spent most of the night studying and making notes for a debate I have to do for a class (and watching House... and the last episode of Corner Gas). At 11, I decided to call it quits, make my final notes and print them off. But I wasn't feeling tired. So, I took a sleeping pill so I wouldn't feel sleepy the next morning. I set my alarm, and had my 40 winks. This morning, I woke up at 8:45. My class, with my debate, started at 8:30 and the teacher locks the door at 8:35.
Rather depressed, I washed up as best as I could, since I forgot my toothbrush and other such things at home, and couldn't buy a new one yesterday, and hauled myself to class. There I had people just tell me most of the day that I was gonna get 0, do the debate thursday and to just tell my teacher what had happened (despite the excuse not being accaptable).
So, after my other classes (that I got to leave early since I finished the assignments already) I went down to the office area and called her place. Well great, she wasn't answering her phone. This was around 10:30. At 2:30 I eventually talked to her. My debate is on thursday, but she said she MIGHT give me a 60 (passing) if I do well. Oh well, at least she said she's not worried about me failing.
During the 4 hours I was waiting I worked on a few assignments. One of them being an interview. I checked my e-mail on that and the person who I was supposed to interview TODAY at 2 bailed on me. They were nice enough to provide a replacement that can come in tomorrow. Problem: the interview was due today. And its for the same class as the debate, so that doesn't help things.
Well, now for some good stuff I guess. First off I need to explain to you guys that in my course, we need to do an internship to be allowed to come back for second year. I sent an e-mail to CKRH, a local french station, last thursday and haven't heard from them since. I've been busy since that point (going back home and all that) and haven't been able to call them. Today, I decided to call them, and right at that moment, I was told they could take me for the internship. Yay! I got the paperwork from my Radio proffessor and I'm going there tomorrow to finish it.
Ok, how about some good news not relating to school? Oh! I'm going to this: [link] . I GET TO SEE SEAN CULLEN LIVE! It's great, cause the 24th is the friday after the semester is done, and before my internship starts. I can have fun inbetween.
Anyways, I have an interview, newsread, news binder and debate to do, plus study for some tests... I should get to that.

I think this is procrastination's way of kicking me in the nuts.

My dad visited me today. We went out for a movie in the worse weather I have seen in a long time. Can't believe we made it back. BTW, the movie we saw was The Day the Earth Stood Still. It suuuuuuuuuuuucked. Not going to relive it to make a review.

So, for school I'm working on a "How to play Guitar Hero" video. Once its done, I'll post it online. I'm currently writing the script, its about half-done. I think its due on friday though...

The other night it was a classmate's birthday party. A bunch of us went drinking at a pub. About an hour and a half after I got there, this guy from my class tell me to do a shot with him or he'd get me kicked out of the pub. I didn't feel like a shot at the time, so I got kicked out cause of him. So, now everyone in my class hates him . Everyone felt sorry for me.

It's snowing alot tonight, hoping for the first snow day since I've been in college.

I missed TDA tonight by like half an hour earlier today. Crap!

All my Guitar Hero: World Tour data got deleted! I don't know what happed: I started it up, and it said my file was corrupt, so to play at all, I had to delet it and start again. There go all my high-scores and my custom characters... Oh well, at least the DLC is saved, and that's what costs.

Anyways, that's all I can think of for now.

They picked (what I think is) the main theme from the movie Hairspray. This is appropriate for several reasons: it captures Sadie's normally happy mood, she does like to dance, and it even SOUNDS like her at the beggining!
But what is this coincidence that I labelled my journal after? Well, I read the poster's comment and they mentioned how Sadie is their favorite character is Sadie. Then, I looked at their username: Boomer220. BOOMER220! A BOOMER whose favorite character is Sadie. I swear, its not me.

Well, the usual thing happened on Christmas eve, I had to spend in with my step-mother's family. This time I just sat back and let everyone do whatever, so it went by almost painlessly. Everyone has to ask the same damn question: "How is it living in Halifax?" My response: "It's good living in DARTMOUTH."

I actually went to Church after that. Mostly to see if I still believed in god. I don't know if I do or not anymore honestly, I just spent most of the time trying not to sleep.

Christmas was kind of odd this year. First off, I was the first one up. We opened presents, then me and my dad played Tetris on the NES. Then around noon I fell asleep. I woke up around supper time.

You know the ultimate proof that no matter how much you deny it, Christmas is still materialistic? The first question people will ask you about it is "What did you get?" Not "Who did you see?" Not "What did you give?" Not "Did you go to church?" Still all about the getting. If you honestly want to know, I got clothes, gift cards and liquor. Nothing expensive or exciting, and I don't care either way.

My sister had a birthday the weekend after Christmas. It's weird having to celebrate something like that so soon after Christmas. All I kept hearing was "DS, DS, DS, DS, DS!" Well she got her f**king DS! I got her a game for it the day after.

I went to my friends for New Years Eve. There were about 8 of us, and there was Rock Band and Guitar Hero there. For most of us, if we weren't playing, we were drinking. I was so drunk, I kept losing track of time. At one point I looked at the clock and just shouted "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Then some of my friends and I did a shot. We stayed up untill about 7:30, then slept untill 11.

So what are my new years resolutions? I guess the same I make every damn year:
-Get out and drink more (yes, MORE)
-Get on a schedual: find a way to go to school, do homework, do my excercises and work on my art on a regular day
-Post more devations, mostly more colored ones

Well, with all that done, the next big thing for me is my dad's birthday, and then it's mine. Yes, my birthday is comming in 20 days. I don't know why I bother to tell you every year, I never really get all that much: in the 3 years I've been here, I maybe got 2 things for my birthday. Just figured I'd let you know so I don't spring it on you.

Let me tell you a little story about last christmas to finish things off. Last year, I was informed that my step family was going to return this stocking I had due to the fact that all the "kids" were getting one. Well mine was so distroyed after I turned 16 (the last year we could use it), but someone let me borrow theirs. So I went, not really caring what I got. I ended up getting a bunch of stuff I really havent found any use for, showing me they really don't know me. The whole time, everyone is going "I gave you that" and making me feel forced to be greatful for it, not getting off my back untill I say thanks. After no one pays attention to me, except for when I was opening their gifts, it just got worse. Afterwards, the person who borrowed their sock to me started demanding it back. At this point I had enough, I said no, since I had to bring all the crappy gifts I didn't want anyways home. Then while I was leaving, all the people who didn't talk to me the whole time started informing me that next years its the women's turn to do the stocking in thing and how "I need to get them something since they got me something, hahaha". So that's the story: ignored, forced to be greatful, felt like a sock burden and felt as if people did this only so I would get them something this year.
Luckly there are 2 things I still enjoy: the music (which I would play in july if I could) and eggnog. God, I need alcohol in it this year...

So, today, I'm a bit hungover. Yeah, I went out drinking on a Thursday night, it was a classmates Birthday, so I went out to have fun. I had a few drinks, but I didn't go (too) overboard. At least, not as much as some of my other classmates (they got MESSED!). The usual thing happened as everytime I drink: I have a good time, realize I had too much, stopped drinking and starting comming down and felt miserable. Most of my bad feelings came from the fact that I still couldn't get the courage to talk to a girl or something like that. The worst thing about the night though is that it cost me near 60$! This is why I don't go out to drink too often.

BTW, the reason I stopped drinking early was because I had a test this morning in Radio. It was no problem at all, I'm pretty sure I aced it. It just reminds me that we're nearing the end of the semester here, and we are going to have ALOT of assignments. So far, we got a 5 minute Radio interview to plan, a 4 minute class presentation to write and a 10 minute radio interview to produce. It sounds like only 19 minutes of work to do, but trust me, its actually hours of research and phone calls needed. All this goes really badly with the next paragraph...

I GOT THE CALL THAT GUITAR HERO: WORLD TOUR IS IN! Ok, so I'm getting it about a month after it came out, but it's better then the 6 months I was looking for GH3. I'm gonna (hopefully) pick it up tonight, so I'll probably be playing it all weekend. But of course, the week comming up I have the radio interview to plan... Well, at least I'll own the game...

So, Barack Obama was elected President of the U.S.A. Everyone in my class is all happy. I'm happy too, snice Sirkowski promissed drawings if he won. Other then that, I don't really care. No matter who they elect, you know the people will make fun of him and hate the choices he makes. But, its good to see that America is getting over its racism (ok, well not ALL of America). Though, to be honest, I would love to see an African-American who voted for McCain. You never hear about those. Anyways, congratulations Obama, good luck and are you really reading this Mr.President?

So, yesterday I called for a ride back down "home" (or that place where my parents lived and so have I for most of my life yet never felt comfortable in), and the person I was hoping to be able to get a ride with has a full car. So now I'm not sure how or if I'll be able to go. I mean, its not like Thanksgiving or anything like that, but I would like to see my mom and sister. I asked a classmate who lived about 20 minutes away if he was going there and he's not sure. If not, I'll either take a bus or stay here.

AND I STILL DON'T HAVE GUITAR HERO: WORLD TOUR! Ok, so I called EB games up Monday to see if they got a new shipment or whatever. They got 4 out of the 12 for the first shipment, so guess how many of the 8 left they got this time? TWO! 2! DOS! DEUX! WHAT THE HELL! Know what? I was number four on that list! If they had gotten 4, I would of just gotten one, but since they got 2, I'm now number 2 of 6. Well, the good news is that they garanteed me the next shipment I would have one (I guess they don't get less then 2 of the games), yet they don't really know when that will be. On Monday they said it could be next week or the week after, so by the 17th I SHOULD have Guitar Hero: World Tour. I also learned that someone in my class already has it. Why did it take me so long to learn?

Alright, so I did my last radio show on wednesday, it ROCKED! So now there's just one thing left before school starts: The big move. Don't worry, I'm not nervous or anything... Excuse me a minute... *vomits* ... ok, so I'm a LITTLE nervous...

So in good news, yesterday I got a new cell phone and a plan for it. Also, my mom bought me a digital camera. In other things my mom got my include many clothes, food, cleaning suplies and she paid my damage deposit and my first months rent. My dad, however, has promissed me a scanner, said I could have his old one, which didn't work on my computer. He says he's going to get me one from his work. I'll beleive that when I see it.

Anyways, I'm gonna go vomit again! I'll give you pictures once I move!

So, starting off from my last entry, the concert was AWESOME! Sadly, I didn’t participate in the taintamar since I didn’t bring a noise maker. I saw a friend I haven’t seen since High School and I probably won’t see back. It was the first time she came to the festival Acadian. She seemed to enjoy herself, except for the fact that her boyfriend had to work that night. Anyways, the first band that was playing played a song with my name in it, so I was asked to go on stage early for the song. Later on I emceed like it was planned, which was awesome. Then came my favourite French group: Swing! They’re show was so amazing, just like every time I’ve seen them. Here’s the best part: they played the theme song to my radio show, so while they were playing it, I was allowed to do a walk-on. Eventually, the lead singer made me dance a little and I got to sing a few lines. It was awesome, people from the audience were actually reaching out to touch me, like I was a REAL rock star! Afterwards I had to explain to the lead singer who I was and why I did that, but then he gave me a free CD and autographed it (he said I “stole the show” XD). There’s one of my dreams done .

So, the downside was that it ran pretty late, and my sleep schedule is already messed up like hell. I ended up sleeping until I had had to go to work Saturday. The shift wasn’t so bad, but then I said I’d DJ a wedding dance that night somewhere about half an hour away. So, that wasn’t so bad, I did a half descent job given no time to prepare and a minimum of equipment (basically two computers plugged in a soundboard). Only two things went really “wrong” that night: I accidentally blasted music at the maximum level when I switched computers, and I played a song that someone request that NOONE else liked at all (“Get Down with the Sickness” by Disturbed). All and all, the night was ok. I played some music, watched some girls dance and made 50$. The problem is that I only got to bed around 2 am, and I had to be up at 6:30 Sunday morning. My sleep schedule is SOOOOOO messed up (it has been for a while, but I’ll spare you the details).

Where am I now? Oh right, Sunday (this) morning. So, I’m tired like hell and I have to work for 8 am , but that doesn’t really stop me for two reasons: 1) bought two cappuccinos last night and 2) it’s my last shift! Yes! I told my boss a month ago I was done working on this day and it’s finally arrived! The shift went smoothly with not that much business, so I caught up on a lot of reading (I’m at chapter nine in Criss Angel’s book  ). TODAY was a good day, but I remember a lot of the bad times, and believe me, I am GLAD it’s over!

So, with the festival and my job at the gas station done, I look at what’s coming next for me. Well, first off there’s my last radio coming up, then there’s the end of my summer job at the radio station… After that I move. Yeah, for those of you who didn’t know this, the college I got accepted to is halfway across the province. Right now I live in Clare, Nova-Scotia (look for Yarmouth on a map, it’s the closest you’ll get), and my school is in Dartmouth, which is three hours away. I already have my place set up, already made the payments for both my room and my first semesters tuition, so now I just have to wait for September first to move in. Yeah, here’s something fun: the person who has to room BEFORE me lives in it until the 31st of August, and my first day of school is the second of September, so the only day I CAN move is on the first of September. Don’t worry, your not going to miss me, there’s wireless internet there, so not only will I still be able to go online, but I could also set up the Wi-Fi on my Wii so that I could play against you people (expect a “friend codes” journal within a month). The only thing that sucks is that I don’t own a scanner (I’ve been using my dads) so either I’ll have to find one, or you won’t see many new works from me for a while (I still got old stuff I can upload though, and I can still ink and color stuff too). So, for those of you who don't know this already I'm Acadian (for those who know my real last, it might of helped to know). In case you don't know what an Acadian is, here's a little history lesson (yeah, boring, I'll make it quick). Basically the french people settled in Canada first and caled where they lived "Acadia", but then the English came along and over powered the french. For a while they let the french stay on "they're land" but then in 1755 they decided to send all the Acadian's away on boats, not caring where they ended up real or how badly they seperated family and lovers, then burned all their worldly belongings. The queen of england finally appologized for this act, but I think we should be allowed to burn down a few houses and seperate a family two in england to make up for it. I'm kidding of course. Anyways, today an Acadian is considered whoever is a decendant of someone who was deported in 1755 (my dad and I traced out bloodlines to the exact person). And today, august 15 is the day "we" use to comemorate our deported ancestors and their descendants.

That's basically things on a grand scale. Now to go a bit more local. Here we started celebrating 3 weeks ago on July 27th, which kicked off The Festival Acadien de Clare. Today is the last day. Beyond another outdoor concert tonight (which I am going to emcee part of, EEEEEEE!) we're going to have the Taintamar, which is amazingly fun. Basically you walk around (or drive if you signed up for the car one and can afford the gas -_-) making as MUCH NOISE POSSIBLE! So, Rayman: Raving Rabbids is basically advertised as a party game for the Wii, meaning a bunch of mini games where you swing you arms around like crazy. And that's why I bought it, I don't have enough games that use the Wii's potential (Also cause I don't own any other Rayman games and I wanted to). Also, it's rather cheap now, at only a little under 20$, I'm telling you, it's well worth it.
There's of course two modes of play: Score mode and story mode. In score mode, you play all the games you've already unlocked in story mode the best you can and make the most points to unlock bonus features. You can play up to 4 people here, but I can't since I don't own another Wii-mote (50$? Are you kidding me?!? Plus, I'd have to buy to nun-chuck for this game!).
The story mode is basically made just so you have to unlock all the games. The story honestly sucks, it basically goes that Rayman gets kidnapped by Rabbits/Rabbids/bunnies (they call em diffrent things throught out the game) and he has to play games to earn plungers to scale a wall and get out this window. Just to tell you, this means Rayman is an idiot, he's how you escape with just two plungers: You stick both to the wall, one on top of each other, you climb both, then when your on the top one, you grab the bottom one, stick it on top now then climb it. Repeat untill you escape. Sadly, you can't tell him that you can do this.
Above unlocking all the games, in story mode you can unlock all the songs and costumes. Let me tell you, I LOVE the costumes! They actually picked a way to make alot of costumes that look good together, and a big selection. I don't think I've gone two days in the same outfit.
As for the games themselves, I love them. They're easy enough that anyone can just pick up and play, but hard enough that they give you a mild challenge. There's all sorts of diffrent games, such as physical games (such as move at a certain speed), mind games, percision games (aiming) and classic party games. Also, every day has one dance game, where you basically have to follow the rhythm of the song. If you play just one game from this game, make it one of these!
So that's about it. I haven't finished it yet, so I can't tell you the replay value of it, but I figure unless you play with friends, it seems minimal after you've beaten EVERY game. And the multiplayer, though I haven't tried it, I can't see it being much more fun. The only complaint I have is that you can't save whenever you want, you have to finish at least 3 of that days games, plus a manditory game and get back to your room to save. Another complaint is that they made one of the first 4 games, "Bunnies don't know what to do with cows" I believe, too hard for the first day. Actually, I still can't do it all that well, but it's especially hard for the first day.
Final note: You gotta love any game where most of the cast are ribbits who go around shouting "DDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Well, I hope I didn't bore you too much with that. And if you liked that review, just wait untill I buy another Wii game and you'll get another one.

Wow, starting off with the hard questions right away. This is though. The simpliest way I think I can answer it is that I love my family... I just don't like them. Like, I couldn't live without them, but I don't enjoy being with them. My mother is a big acception, she's the only person I always enjoy seeing. Again, a hard question. I honestly don't know what I think of myself anymore, I have this habit of putting myself down very easily, which isn't a good thing to do. There are times where I feel GREAT about myself though. So, I don't really know how I feel about myself (weird, eh?)...

Lolcats? Are they those cats who made famous such lines as "i haz corn" "invisible bike!" and "i am in ur room, steelin ur cablez"? If they are, then yeah, I like them: Some of them are just right down clever and me and my friend would imitate their speech for hours just to be weird. Also, PVP recently had a comic called "lolbat" which I found halarious.

By far the SNES. Classic consols rock. Also, great classic games for it. The graphics are sophisticated but not complicated and the same can be said about the gameplay.

Super Mario RPG. Great characters, great story, all around great game. Funny story, I hated it the first time I played, but I couldn't figure it out at all. But after I figured out how to get the pick-me-up it was awesome.

I have a REALLY hard time picking. Some of my favorites include League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Mystery Men and Rat Race. I like alot of Super Hero and comedies.

I read alot of comics online: PVP, Questionable content and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal are some of my favorites. As for actual comic books, I don't read them so much, so I would say the Sonic comics (by Archy comics) which help me with my art. Also, while I'm on the subject, Marvel Zombies is really good too.

The Incredible Hulk video game. Obviously it'll be based on the recent movie that's comming out. Now, I haven't seen the movie, and I don't know if I'm going to or not. Either way, the idea of a game based on it is incredibly stupid. Let's think about the Hulk for a minute: he's a geek scientist who, when angered, loses control and becomes the HULK! At first though, it seems a great game, smashing stuff. But wait, a video game is all about YOU controlling the action. Am I the only one who caught that little bit of stupidity? YES! To play as a character, where you'd lose control, would be pointless in a video game! You'd either not play at all and just WATCH, or you'd get no where NEAR the real effect of the Hulk. Of course, the third option is that you play a second party who tries to stop him one way or another, which would be painfully hard or, once again, not near the real effect of the Hulk.

This is one video game, I am not going to touch. Though the idea of getting banner angry and watching him smash wildly yet try to control it does intregue me, I sincerly doubt that's what's going to happen.

In case you didn't get it, let me explain this in a quote from this weekend. I was at a friend's house and I was about to leave.

"Alright, so now I gotta go upstairs, get my wii, get my laptop, hop in my truck, drive home, take a shower, pack a lunch, go to the gas station, come back home, sleep, go to the radio station, come back home, go to the gas station, come back home, sleep, go to the radio station... I guess what I'm trying to say is I got no free time left!" *slight laughter turning into histerical crying* "I gotta work 15 days in a row..."

Alright, so let me explain. Last week, thursday, I talked with the CEO of the Radio station I worked at LAST year and he said I could basically have the job again this year, as long as I provided a acceptance letter to a university or college. As if it were serendipity, that night I found an e-mail saying I was accepted to the college I applied to, but was put on a wait list. Alright, so all this seems good right? I got a job and accepted to college. But wait, I already HAD a job. So what did I do? Was I fired? Did I quit? NO! I kept the other part time job and worked it out so that I could have the time to work at both. BUT ONE MORE THING! I got accepted to a college half way accross the province, I can't take this lightly or at the last minute, I gotta PLAN this: Where I'm going to live, how I'm gonna get to school, how I'm going to pay for all of it, when I gotta be where... So I gotta use alot of time to both plan and do that! So, take out the time I'll be working EITHER job and the time I got to plan for my future, I got very little free time. Also, the summer is comming up. YAY, summer! That means many festivals around here. Which my dad normally does the sound for... Which he makes me help out. D'OH! Now I got... NO FREE TIME! ! Good thing most of my friends are going away, or I'd be tempted to, I dunno, maybe... HAVE A LIFE! Fuck...

Alright, so every year or so I get this urge to learn how to play an instrument. It is indeed one of my biggest regrets because I do love music and I would love to play it. Yet, I never did learn one. This is mostly due to the fact that when I was like 5-7 I was in piano lessons and found it incredibly boring and didn't stick to it. My attention span probably hasn't incressed much since then but I tend to believe it was more the instrument then me (I find piano's rather dull, no offense to any piano players out there). So, once again right now, the urge is striking me again to learn how to play an instrument. In case you're wondering which, it's the Accordian ("Weird Al" is my idol, remember?). Now, since the piano I've only had the chance to TRY to learn one other instrument, and that's the drums. PROBLEM: a "drum teacher" is very hard to find, which is stupid cause they are in HIGH demand (one would make hundreds of dollars). My dad borrow a drum set from someone for me to like play on and try to teach myself, but I'm not the kind of person who can do that. I figure that around here I should be able to find at least one accordian player willing to teach me how to do it. So here's what I'm wonderng from you guys.
-Think I should go for it?
-Think I'll be able to do it or stick with it this time?
-Do you know if it's hard to do?
-How easy is it get an accordian? (If I learn I'll probably have to buy one)

There are alot of things to consider, but I might be over thinking things. I dunno, part of my brain says "Just go for it, you got the time and the money" but the other part goes "you should think it through, remember the other ones?" So I'm relying on other people. Not the smartest thing to do, but meh...

Ok, so right now my job at work is to listen to this radio show and come up with ads for it (I didn't hear it before) and it ends up that he plays alot of Polka. That reminded me that I wanted to learn to play the accordian (I like polka music, it makes me happy) and of this journal. I figured I'd update and tell you how things went to learn.

Well, it didn't to put it shortly. See, I originally decided that I was going to learn because I had enough free time and money to spare. I had also recently gotten my Tax return, which I could spend all of it on a accordian and lessons if it was needed. But then, as you know, I got accepted to college and I got a full time job, so this meant no more free time, nor that YEAR off I was expecting. Also, every penny I could save would be a good idea. So, my plans rather went to shreds. Besides, I asked a few people, no one could really teach me.

I still thank everyone who supported me in this. Maybe I'll try again some other year.
