Does Comicgenesis support external CSS linking for webpages? Currently, I'm trying to get the new style for my site up, but CG is fucking it up (As seen here: [link] ) and doesn't seem to want it to work. I tested the CSS is Dreamweaver, but CG doesn't seem to want CSS to be externally linked or something.

Or... is this because of the Server change possibly?

EDIT: Also, WTF is up with DA and the fucking icons and thumbnail codes?!?!?!!

Just letting all of you know, I plan on Possibly starting up my Comic again. However, this all depends on how fast I can take in the Information on my 'CSS Web design For Dummies' book, and how much free time I get what with the newest RP I found [Pimpage! [link] ], which is pretty involved.

Also, i still need to get the webpage fully built. I have the basic HTML done, but CSS is still on my 'Must learn lsit', so i can get something Like the following template:

Yes, another Journal asking for anyone (specifically eighties children) for some help in remembering something.

This time, it's a song. Last night I couldn't sleep so I was up all night watching VH1 Classic, when I saw a song play that caught my Attention. I remembered hearing it before, but I don't knwo where. All I know, is the song is awesome, yet I can't seem to find it.

I watched the video carefully to remember what song it might have been, and I caught the title, which I could Swear looked like "God Bless Radio". The band Name I didn't quite see, but it looked something like Alcatraz or similar. However, when I tired searching for the song, I couldn't find it at all! It was as if It never existed!

This song was awesome, and I want to at least know the band. If Anyone, ANYONE remembers this band or the real song name, then please tell me. I already tried searching videos on youtube, but nothing.

However, the video itself, if it helps, showed like an Angel and Devil ducking it out at control stations, and often there was a TV with feminine lips singing to the words of the song, even though it was sung by the male lead singer. I do remember distinctly that the lead guitarist held his Guitar upside down,a nd they flashed between a Devil and angel version.

I also remember the devil played the guitar by sliding it between his legs....

HELP!

So, last night after I got out of the hospital at one AM because my mom has a Kidney stone, I started talking to her since neither of us could get to sleep, about Some good old shows that don't play anymore. We talked about all kinds, ranging from cartoons, to even some other good ones (I even mentioned Mighty Morphin Power Rangers). e named all the good ones, Animorphs, Pete And Pete, Swat Kats, The ORIGINAL Digimon, Wolf's Rain, Reboot, all the good ones.

But there was one show that I couldn't remember. I knew the concept, but I couldn't remember the name of it for the Life of me. I know it was around the same time as Shows like Pete and Pete and Animorphs, but my mom didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

It was a show about a girl who, after getting hit by a chemical truck, could change between her normal form, and that of a silvery puddle. I think in the beginning of every episode, it would have the girl explaining how she was, and in the show, only one other person knew of her powers, her best friend or something, and there was this government guy trying to prove she was a mutant or something. I forget most of the plot, but, I believe the Amanda Show in it's hay day did a parody skit of the title sequence (when she explains she got hit with a chem truck), but instead, the girl got his with a sax, and could not stop playing the sax.

I don't know, I know it exists, but I don't know what it was...

Ok, so today, I got a call from my friend Renae today, and let me just say this, I never thought so many people in my life would stick up for me.

Renae called to tell me about how school went since I couldn't be there, and she told me that the day was... well... Chaotic! Anyone who lives in Massachusetts knwos that the Quincy Teachers went on Strike recently. Well, according to Renae, The student Body at my school apparently was about to strike themselves!

It turns out that after I was escorted off the bus yesterday, At least half the bus stood up and defended me after Mike (or Bus driver) was saying nasty things about me. Then, today, all during school kids didn't stop talking about me. Some talked in a bad light, but most apparently talked in a good light, actually defending me. In fact, most of the student body at my school went to the vice principal and pleaded my case, trying to make it seem like it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.

This surprises me heavily since I thought my School hated me. Don't get me wrong, I love my school, but I never thought anyone else at school liked me.

This news surprised me so much, my knees buckled when I heard it. I never in my life thought so many people actually cared about me...

I never thought... I had so many friends...

Ok, This Journal consists of something i don't even know what to Classify as. Jsut know it's really, really revealing...

Anyone who knows me in Real Life knows I have a bit of an Anger problem. Online is literally the only place I can escape to where I can actually think before I say something, preventing myself from saying something I don't want to. However, I can't escape Real life, and I can't escape problems I have in Real life as Well. Today, that hit me in the face like a ton of bricks.

Those who know me in Real Life Know I hate my Bus Ride. Those who know me Know I love the school I go to though, and would do anything just to be able to got there. However, I have given the nickname for Bus 6, my bus, my freshman year, and it has already stuck.

Hell On Wheels.

My Bus (and a few Bitch-Ass preppie Girls) are the only things I dislike about my school, and there was only supposed to be 8 more days of ridding my bus this year, being as next year I will be driving to School. However, today, I went over the edge. Today, My anger got the better of me, and I assaulted the Bus Driver with a pair of Headphones.

The Story leading up to this follows:

Nearing the Dedham Stop before taking the Highway to Quincy, A girl sitting behind me flicked the back of my head, and I thought she was picking on me or something, like most people did on my bus. I turned off my music and turned around, but before I could do anything, she quickly said that there was a bug in my hair, and that she was trying to get it out.

At first, I thought she was joking, but I still sifted through my long hair, trying to feel for a bug. it disappeared after a while, so I thought I knocked it out, but after the Dedham stop, the girl sitting next to the one who flicked the back of my head got up, and there was the bug, where she was sitting. I went to pick it up, which I did, and, thinking I could be funny, tossed it on the girl, who flipped.

She got up and went over to me to try to hit me, but I put up my arm to block, still only being a joke. However, she grabbed my arm and moved it, hitting me repeatedly. At this point, my anger flared, and I grabbed my headphones and went to hit her with them after she stopped. My headphones missed her, but hit the Bus Driver instead.

At that point, he pulled over on the side of the Highway, and called the Mass State Police. I got taken off the bus, my bag got checked out, and I got taken home in a cop car.

This was to much, today went over the edge, and if I could, I'd go back and change it, but I can't, and now I screwed myself. I might just get suspended, I won't be going to school tomorrow, my mo is literally pissed at the Vice principal (her literal Words at him over the phone was "MY SON IS NOT A BAD FUCKING KID YOU DIPSHIT OF A VICE PRINCIPAL!"), and has to meat with the school faculty. The Bus Company doesn't want me on any of the buses, and I've been thrown off the bus for the rest of the year possibly.

Summer Vacation Ahead? yeah, Maybe, but it doesn't mean Shit anymore.

I want to cry... but I can't... I just... can't...

EDIT: I've just now found out that 1) Anger like mine might run in the family, and 2) I can't go to Six Flags tomorrow (Saturday) because our school is using the same bus company, and the whole company does not want me on their buses. This sucks in more way than one, because weeks earlier, me and my friend Renae had been prepping for this trip, she even went as far as to buy a new Swim Suit. Now, I can't go, and I know for a fact that if I can't go, Renae won't go either, simply because the trip won't be fun for her without me.

This... Utterly... Sucks...

Art Dept.

Ok, so the reason behind most of my art being in the lows in terms of updating is because I've hit a slump, but it's not your average slump. Most of my art is usually started during school times and finished over a course of few days, then get inked and colored on the weekends. However, things have been getting in the way of me doing this, so it's been slow. Not only that, but I've been lacking in the motivation to actually ink and color my drawings. I have... two inked drawings, a bunch of sketches I still need to ink, and tons of sketches I've yet to even upload. I don't know why, I guess I've jsut been trying to improve more in the sketching department, then the coloring.

Also, I've been spending more time trying to write instead of draw. Those who know know that I plan to actually one day revive my comic dream, but I want to write up the story first and work on the character designs. The story itself is on chapter 4 or five... but I'm having a friend edit it for me (AKA, Kez, who draws and writes the story for War of Winds, so check it out now!).

Hardware and Tech Dept.

Along the lines of my slowing in the coloring and inking, it's partially influenced by the fact my comp had to be brought up to shop to get the chassis repaired. I was stuck with my old Toshiba then, and the Toshiba sucks balls. I just recently got it back and [almost] finished installing everything.Hopefully this weekend I'll get those two last pics colored, but no guarantees.

Life and School Dept.

I've always sucked in History, as has everyone in my family, it's a known fact. McCloskey's and History are known enemies [Heck, one of my distant relatives was apparently a Nazi!]. I've got the grades needed to graduate, but I'm still getting a little worried. As I mentioned, i usually get my drawings done in school, but I've had less time to actually draw, as the teachers I had before who cared less if I draw are no longer [it's a known fact I actually listen and do better if I'm actually doing something else. I could be listening to someone talk about a chemical formula, but I will remember it better if I'm doing something else at the same time].

But I'm more worried about next year, with classes like... ugh... Pre-cal.... (and to think, I'm only a sophomore now!)

Wrap-up

So yeah, all in all, other things have gotten in the way of drawing, but know I have not stopped. I've recently got my whole series of Sims 2 games reinstalled, and, as I've said before, The Sims 2 to me is like Photos for others, they are my reference. I'm kinda worried because I need to tackle drawing some chars I've purposely avoiding, [Mama and Papa wolf, Crimson Claws, Donny the Don] but I need to if I plan to do anything.

Also, as a tid bit of a sneak peak, just know I have a CS for Aaron in the works, a FULL CS.

Anyway, The reason I've been AFK or Busy most of that time, was because I was creating a virtual Model of my Fictional House, the Kabuki Manor. Looking at my more recent Submissions, You'd see one of them is Entitled '666 Hell Dr.', and was an early concept of the Manor.

Well, Today, after weeks of working and building, I finally finished the House to be just perfect. Every room in it was perfect, the furniture was arranged in such a way it had a bit of a 'dark feel', and it had the infamous basement.

Why am I saying all this though? Because now, My Sims 2 game, which I built the house in, no longer wishes to load. Correction, it loads, and plays, for... five or so minutes, then Crashes to the infinite 'BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!' Joyous Joys for me.

However, after having worked on the house for weeks, I know the dimensions and arraignments perfectly that I can copy it down on paper, and hopefully one day, I will. Note I'm not asking for any help, I'm just letting you guys know that's what I've been working on. It sucks too because I recently got Seasons and wanted to see the house in the winter.

Also.... after doing some research, I found out the dome in the Customs House Tower doesn't have some unique paintjob as I thought, so those who went to look for pics, sorry.

However! To make up for it, I'm restating that I am ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS open for art trades or request pics if you want them. My drive to draw is running low anyway, and I need something fresh to spark it up.

CYBER-MUTT'S HEADQUARTERS

I never found the name of the place I had planned to be his headquarters, but I always planned on it being a Building I used to see when going into Boston all the time from the Old I-95 before it was buried by the Big Dig. It was this really tall building with Clocks on all of the faces, but I never knew the name, only that I knew it was in the Financial District.

Well, now I know the name. Turns out, the name of the building is the Custom House Tower in Boston, which, according to Wikipedia, was turned into a Hotel recently. That's just even better news.

Here's what I need form you web searchers though, I need pictures of the INSIDE of the building. I have textual descriptions, but no pictures of the Inside. Most of the stuff I can make up, but i want it still to be realistic, so I need some references. Anyone who gets me references of the Inside gets a drawing, full color, however you want it, whatever character.

And if anyone gets a pic of the INTERIOR of the Dome in the Lobby, gets the best pic of all.

Please, anyone who can help please help. While most stuff for Hotels are standard, it's the Lobby I'm mostly concerned about.

Currently, the Flashdrive is unable to be fixed die to how the wire broke off from the motherboard. Yes, it was a single wire that broke off from the motherboard that caused all this. Ain't technology grand?

Anyway, so all the stuff on the Flash rive was lost, but fear Not, not all of it was forgotten. The biggest Project on there, Project Cyberwolf, a story i have been writing since Mid August, and was only on Chapter 2, can still be recovered. How? With a neat little program I found while surfing the web. Turns out, all the stuff I put on the drive, I COPIED from my own comp onto the Drive, then deleted the originals. This means all the stuff is still in my computer, just deleted.

The problem with this scenario? I can't copy the files to the same Drive it was on (C without risking losing all of the data. How do I know this? Because the program said so. What this basically means is this weekend, I'm gonna be going to some electronics store (along with getting my first chance behind the wheel of my mom's car) to get a few new Flashdrives. And this time, I'm keeping MULTIPLES. One big one for all the backups, and many small ones for each separate theme ((EG: Character Sheets, Stories, Drawings, School notes))

What I'm asking of you guys, is because I suck at thinking of Names and Species for certain characters, I wish for you t help me think of names for certain character names and species. It's like all of my stories, Human and Anthro characters, along with the shifting Fox.

Anyway, I'm gonna list of the characters and places, plus a Short blurb. This is only up to, oh, halfway in the story though, but it will count.

Anyone who suggests using their character for a character mentioned here may get in.... but it's no guarentee

Here's the characters:

Barkeep 1 name - he's a minor character, starts out in the beginning but doesn't really follow through. So far, I've got him as 'Zeke', but I might rename him. Old Grey Tabby with a eye patch.

Captain of the Ship - Need a name for the captain and a suggestion of the species. Doesn't mind having a female on board, but wants to make sure crew members and possible crew members can help work and defend the ship, mostly by doing a trial run with them on their pistolmanship and fencing. Acts as the Mentor to Josephine

Name of Ship - I need a name suggestion for the First ship the crew takes. Nothing really to say except it's a basic ship, nothing big, but it's fast, and has a bit of power.

Ship Cook - Need a name and species. Works as the cook for the ship, preparing meals and such. Meals often suck, and has a bit of a bad temper, but can be friendly, if you don't dis his cooking. Often throws knives and yells "GET OUT!"

Magician - A stowaway Magician aboard the ship who was kept for his abilities. Bit of a Male Gypsy, and talks in riddles. Species is defined as some sort of Fox but hasn't been fully chosen, is the Love interest to Josephine.

Deck Slave 1 & 2 - Though called a Deck slave, in truth, they arent treated like one and are even payed like the rest. One is set to be a Human, the other is an African-based species. Both are very strong and help wherever possible. The Anthro one is blind in one eye.

Main Port town - The main port town in the Caribbean area they sail to and from. Acts as a Central port for the Caribbean and is enforced well. Town is enforced by British Soldiers

Pirate Hideaway - The main Pirate hideaway they often ail to from time to time to get info. Area is heavily horded by Pirate men and whorehouses, drunken brawls often seen in streets.

Dead-mans Bluff - Not the real name, but a section of the Caribbean ocean that no ship should sail through. Any ship that sails through is doomed to run aground, not simply because of the many sharp rock formations, but also because of the beast that lurks in its waters. ((Also need suggestions of names for 'the Beast'))

Port Town Barkeep - A very kindly, but strict guy, works the bar and makes sure his maids are ok. Often ridicules Josephine for being a female pirate.

Pirate Hideaway Barkeep - The barkeep of the pirate Hideaway, treats all but one of his barmaids like total shit. Tries to convince Josephine to give up pirating to become a fulltime whore, much to the bane of Josephine.

Royal Navy Captain - The captain of the Royal Navy, who patrols the seas for pirates to knock them out of the water. Thinks all pirates should give up their life before he ends it. Has a crush on Josephine. Based on the Port town.

Just know I shaln't be using anything based off of PotC, except a few ideas. I want this to be original.

MAJOR PROBLEM, MAJOR, MAJOR,
MAAAAAAJOOOOOR
Problem!!!!!!!

ALLL of my Data, my Character Sheets, My stories (and Scripts), My art, they are stored on a Flash Drive I have, a small Flash Drive that was Crucial to me, because it also stored all my school notes.

But the flash drive got damaged. I NEEEEED all that, I really NEED all of it, because I spent TOOO long getting all my fucking shit on that thing to free up space on my hard drive, and then I carried that thing like a baby.

Turns out it takes on misstep of my dog when I have my laptop on the floor to print some stuff to ruin the hard drive, or at least the port that connects it. Please, I need help, is there any, ANY way, I can get the info stored on my flash drive to be transfered to another, even thought the USB stick won't work now? ANY way will do, so long as it fucking works! Even if I have to bring it to some computer place and have them do it for hundreds of dollars, just please, tell me!

HEEEEEELLLLLLP!!!!!

EDIT:

There is now a bigger problem then expected... the flash drive is now... completely broken...

This is where it really gets broken down... if the motherboard on the flashdrive is preserved, can the data sill be saved? if so... how much will it cost?

please... I... I need the stuff on their... so much of it... I spent months... months on Project Cyberwolf.... and... and now it's all gone...

Speaking of which..... I need a little help. Anyone know how I can install additional hard drive space? Because no matter what I try, I only have about 5% of Free space left on my main drive, and THAT was freed up by moving all my important documents ((images, Stories, CS's, Etc.)) to a flash drive. I also got rid of a bunch of documents and programs I didn't need off my comp, but that didn't do much either.

Please Someone HELP!!!!!
