I'm just testing this journal skin out. I'm kind of excited to be able to change my journal skin without having to pay for membership, but I want to make sure I am formatting this correctly.

NaNoWriMo

I joined NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year, so I won't get a chance to do much drawing until December. As I am working with to set up an anime club at our school, I might be putting up some drawings I do there, but other than that, there won't be too much. I am hoping to have time to redo my deviant ID, and I started drawing something for my 2nd dA anniversary, which was on the 30th of October, but it's still in the half-done-sketch phase. I also did draw a cover for the novel I am writing for NaNoWriMo (I won't bore you with details 'bout my book - those will be in the artist's comments of said deviation when I finish it), so as soon as I can color that, it will be up. Ikkaku firing his lazer will also be colored and submited soon - I barely have to color anything for it...

School...Ugh

School is coming up soon, and I HOPE to have some drawings done by then. I just haven't been in the mood to ink them, or in a few cases, scan them. I plan to sit down at least every other day and ink/color/finish those drawings and then scan them all in one fell swoop. Some of them I know I won't finish - namely the drawing of Juushiro Ukitake (Bleach) I started to draw when I read one of the earlier volumes. It has so much detail that I'm having trouble not distorting his body when I focus on his sword. I just want to get as much done as I can before I have to spend all of my free time on homework. Unfortunately, I have so many ideas for new drawings that I don't know if I will get everything done. Having rewatched most of my anime this summer in edition to watching some new stuff (mainly Vampire Knight and Buso Renkin) has put way too many ideas into my head. I'm just glad Bleach hasn't gone further than the manga books on Adult Swim yet - it hasn't made me want to draw anything. Unfortunately, the absense of Naruto on Cartoon Network HAS made me want to draw someting - preferably something that conveys my anger at the TV station without taking too long to draw. Bleh...

I have a ton of drawings that are unfinished (about one per manga book I own, which is a lot considering that I have all available Yu Yu Hakusho volumes, Bleach volumes, Wolf's Rain volumes, and Ouran HSHC volumes - all of which are growing in size as new ones come out in stores. That's not including my art/profile books for Bleach, Naruto, and Yu Yu Hakusho, my assignment for an anime club at my school, or my 3 Viz Big Dragon Ball volumes - which is the equivilent of 9 regular volumes total. So, yeah, I have at least 69 drawings to finish)

Some drawings need to be scanned, some colored, and some drawings have been waiting practically a year to be finished.

I am planning on working on that this weekend, but I also have a lot of cleaning to do, and I am busy making sure I'll be ready for a school dance i am going to with friends next weekend...ugh, I'm busy. HOPEFULLY, I will submit at least 2 deviations this weekend, but I DO procrastinate a lot...

Thanksgiving and Laziness

My mom asked me to brine the turkey this year because she's working and doesn't have time to. I got turkey blood all over me *shudder* and I already took a shower. I managed to get clean, but even though I washed my hands about 5 times, I can still smell the turkey blood...ew.

On another note, I've been so busy and lazy that I have so many drawings that need to be finished, colored, edited, or submitted. I'm going to submit what I can and hopefully finish the rest during Thanksgiving vacation...

I feel like falling over and not getting up until the bags under my eyes disappear. I get up around 5:10 in the morning for school, and on friday I was up until 1:00, because I went to the Field of Screams with my Godfather and his girlfriend. I feel like saturday went way too fast, and I was gone almost all of today to finish a project for school with my group. I also have a major test tomorrow which I didn't study for yet. Yesterday I stepped in a rolled up office mat, and one of the plastic spikes punctured my big toe. I also managed to trip twice with my clumsiness today. And tomorrow I have Gym class at 8:20 in the morning...Oh Joy!

I have a crapload of drawings to scan...both colored and not, plus I also promised that I would scan something for her. I've also been busy watching Yu Yu Hakusho, which I got as a box set a week or two ago. It inspired me to draw fanart for it, which also means more for me to scan and color... I COULD blame it on school having started earlier this week, but to be truthful, some of the drawings have been waiting to be scanned since July....so the delay is just 'cause I'm lazy.

The Frosted Flakes Mizuki pic is actually part of a series and I thought of while watching the episodes where Mizuki turns into that tiger-y thing. I was trying to do them in order, starting with Frosted Flakes(mizuki), but I have an art block with the next one on the list....so I will try to put more of them up, but they will be out of order for those of you who know the list.

I am working on reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer which is taking longer for me to read than Twilight(the first book in the series), but I should finish it by this weekend. Then this weekend I get to see some of my friends, which is going to be absolutely crazy. Boredgrl + Friends +sleepover/party = absolute craziness, so YAY!

We left late on Saturday and I ended up missing Naruto The next day we saw the Lion King,and it was beyond amazing! We also went a lot of places yesterday, but when we got back to the car, we realized there was a nail stuck in one of the tires. If the nail stayed it would have been fine until we got home, but unfortunately, the tire went flat about 2 hours away from home. We had to pull over, wait for the mechanic, wait for him to put on the spare(which is the crappy spare that come with the car, and you can't drive over 50 mph with it on). Then we finally got back on the road an hour after we stopped. Due to the crappy tire, we got home at 12:15pm instead of 10:00pm. oh well, the trip was still fun...

I'm rrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllll yyyyyyyyyyyyy really bored. Earlier I was trying (keyword: trying) to draw characters from one of my recent fav. shows-Yu Yu Hakusho or Ghost Files (i think). Then i gave up and played video games for a while. It's been a few hours, I'm not tired, and am sooooooooooooooooooo bored.

Yay!! today there was an early dissmissal! And I heard there is going to be a snow storm on Sunday, so possibly no school on Monday. Well, if there is no school on Monday, I know what I'm doing. FANFICTION!!!!! sorry for my blabbering, but reading fanfiction has ecalated from a hobby to most likely an obsesstion on my part. Well, anyway, I hope there is too much snow to go to school on monday.

I really feel random today....huh, anyway most of my deviations will most likely be anime related, so...yeah. Little while ago I started watching Naruto, and now i'm addicted to it, and my brother is big on anime, so I used watch stuff like Rurouni Kenshin when I was younger, even a little Sailor Moon. In the past about month and a half, I've also seen a little of other animes like InuYasha, FullMetal Alchemist, and Black Cat with some of my friends. And well, I have tried watching more of it on sites like YouTube, but of course almost all of it is in Japanese (dammit!). And I have started to try and draw some Naruto characters, most unsuccessfully (sigh...), so yeah, most of my deviations will be relate to anime, mostly Naruto.

And now i'm going to stop blabbering
