I don't know of she can recover her vision. At least something because my mom has a very rare eye condition since she was little. I won't go into details about eye anatomy and all that. I can tell you she has a super myopia, limited field vision, macular degeneration, high blood pressure, etc. So a retina detachment was expected to occur someday. And top of I'm coming down with something (it's not that damn flu) right now I have a fever and a dry cough...must be the dust.

I really want to quit my part time job at that stupid store. I can't believe that they gave me a warning note for being late 1 or 2 minutes late last month! It's like they're looking for some stupid excuse to fire part time employees (sales in retail bussiness is really sucking)). Plus, the air condioning system is not cooling (funny thing is, it works perfectly in the human resources and managing offices) and right now there's a freaking tropical heat wave with a lot of Saharan dust in the air. I swear they don't turn it on to save energy and money. But I can't quit now, I have a car to pay!

I'm really sorry for not being around here too much but it's been hectic. Thanks for all the comments, replies and favorites guys!

So I joined a crowd waiting for him to come out ( the filming ended at 6 pm) for 1 hour .My high heels were killing me, I was carrying a load of papers and books plus 4 hours of sleep. He came out, greeted the crowd and gone But I couldn't see Aaron Eckhart (I don't know if he was on the set today)and Amaury Nolasco arrived today.

Well, yesterday Omar turned into a hurricane category 1 (a baby but still dangerous). What happened? A hysteria! The news told that this thing is coming today at night! Today I went to college 'til 12pm. Apparently everyone were released from their jobs at that time. No schools, no jobs, no college until Friday. Yay! There were traffic jams everywhere. I got stuck in a huge traffic jam. Then, my car, which is an old piece of junk, did something that I could never forgive it. It overheated and died.
I was 5 minutes from home in the middle of a traffic jam. Right in the middle of a huge avenue. By a miracle I could get it started again thanks for the help of kind strangers (I'm glad there are good people in this world) and reached home.

So, here I am, in a sea of books and lectures, with a dead car, depressed and wonderin' where's the fucking hurricane.

Also, I got the answer from grad school today. They rejected me. Well, they only pick 15 persons from a hundred applicants. But, still.... I feel a bit down but I won't give up. There are still two great schools to apply. You see, I wanna study clinical psychology. There are three colleges with that program and I don't want to leave my country now. So, I'll go with choice number two. And the most expensive . I hope I have time. I don't want to loose another year without studying (can't believe I wrote that!)

As for art, I'm on an anthro drawing lately and that's why I asked you guys what's your favorite animal is in the last journal. I thank you for answering. I'll try to draw more felines, canines, a horse (I need to do more male anthros) and a whale shark (the most difficult).

1) I only took an art class (Basic Drawing part 1) one semester in college and one short course in Liga de Arte de San Juan.

2) My first fanart was Tiny Toons Adventures when I was little girl.

3) I got into furry or anthro when I was a teen and had access to internet. I loved Starfox and Sonic the Hedgehog fanart.

4) and the Yerf archives were a huge inspiritation to me in 1998. I was once rejected by Yerf in 2000 or 1999 (can't remember exactly). They told me to improve my anatomy and that's what I did (and still doing it!!).

5) I consider Disney and Don Bluth's films as influences.

6)Also in my teens, I got into anime and manga and started to draw a lot in these style but abandoned it when I entered in college. But I still like it!

7) I'm not good at drawing male characters.

8) Right now, I'm getting inspired by 80's and early 90's cartoons.

9) Everthing I know about drawing human or anthro learned it through web tutorials from other artists and a couple of books.

10) I get ideas for poses from old and new magazines that I collect through the years.

Also, I'm very worried about some stuff. First, my family's economic situation is getting worse. I hope it will get better in the future. Second, there's a serious outbreak of dengue fever in my country. Well, every year there's a small outbreak but this one getting out of control. The normal dengue fever I can handle it. It's the hemorrhagic type that I'm afraid of. When I was twelve I suffered from a viral hemorrhagic fever and I don't want to go through that again.

I won't let that ruin my mood today. I'm gonna celebrate with my boyfriend our anniversary. We've been together for four years! See ya later!
