Heyo to everyone!

Thought I'd update my journal with a happier one.
Life is pretty slow at the moment. Still unemployed, but I'm hoping to become self employed soon
I can't say anything official yet, but you all will be notified when something happens.

Now I want to talk about some friends.

is my besterest fwend! he's kind, caring, loving and unbelievably nice!

is my other bestest fwend for the same reasons as blooey.
He's also a good artist. Go on! Tell him he is

is a newly formed good friend busting with character and love, but is also very mature and wise.

is a good friend in my eyes because he is a wonderful lad to talk to and seems very wise.

is a funny lad nearly all of the time and is always good at keeping me in high spirits with his randomness.

seems very mature for his age and has a quality I look for in all my friends and that is the ability to know the time and place to be childish.
Well I say childish *sets fire to a random guitar*....... uh oh.

My girlfriend comes under a separate category.

Heyo everyone.....

Yes I am bored and lonely... physically lonely.

Happy notes first:
I pushed past the 12k pageviews mark so THANKS EVERYBODY!!
I've finally signed onto the dole so that should be sorted within the next week (yey monies).
My sleep pattern is getting better which is good news to me, sorta bad news to my American friends as I probably won't be online for as long.
I might be getting an extender for my camera which will probably mean more closeups of..... well anything really.
Aswell as that I'm trying to get a compact flashgun as my current D-SLR doesn't have one.

Now for the not sooooooooo happie notes:
I still have to sort oot my driving lessons so I'm still held back there.
A bunch of my friends (both online and offline) seemed to have passed their driving tests all around the same time frame so I hardly see/hear from them. Nothing I can do aboot that. If you have a car and yer licence then go play because I would for a while.
is still rather distant which has me concerned for him.

Hopefully once I have an income my mood on life will lift abit more and I'll start exploring a few more things, but until then I'm going to be in the same boat as alot of people oot there.

For the past week I've had a throat infection that has made me sooooooo tired that all I've really been doing is sleeping and getting headaches. Today was the first day I did some exercise and didn't get tired.

Heyo everyone.

I'll start with the fookups:
It seems I'm getting worse and worse and keeping friendly relations with people.
I know I have alot of flaws in my personality and I still have alot of maturing to do.
*sigh* I'm in the same boat as many people. No job, no real income, struggling to keep up with various payments, still suffering from depression and the lack of job stimulus doesn't help, low on inspiration for my hobby, bored and tired.
Most of my plans and goals I set last year or later have been pushed back for more immediate things.

On the subject of keeping friendly relations with people not that long ago Marsey (the nutcase) started acting very childishly so I terminated our friendship till he grows up abit.

The second was the complete reverse, I was the one acting very childishly and selfishly, yes I admit it. The result of this was another loss of a great friend.
I think most of you know him *knaveofclubs
Unlike the friendship termination with Marsey I am willing to do whatever it takes to rebuild the friendship with Knavey, but I know it will be a long time before any real improvements will be made.

Next on the subject of fookups is more of Microsoft being tits again with the vista activation code. They don't seem to take into account that people might have to re-format and put Vista back on (no rants aboot Vista please, if it's not working right for you then you are doing something wrong) which means entering the activation key where ever it is displayed (for me, on the side of the tower case).
Mine seems to be only for one pc and cannot be used again i.e. re-format.
So I'm a little annoyed at that.

General news:
Photography is slow due to lack of inspiration and drive to go oot and take photos.
I'm trying to get some income sorted oot for myself which will most probably be Job Seekers Allowance (Dole money).
& are at the moment my closest friends which is quite an achievement for them both and even if he's not talking to me is still my bestest friend.

I think that'll do for now.

Heyoooo kiddos!!

Well another month is here and I've only just gotten round to doing this.
Only some things have changed recently.

I lost a friend due to his attitude towards others and his childish behavior. Now I don't mind childish behavior when it's the right time to do it, but not when it's the wrong time.
As with everything there is a time and a place for it.
So that's John Marsey crossed off my list of friends.

Recently good ol' (I say "ol'" he's probably younger than me) Gordio has become a more active and fun fwend with lots of funny work to keep us all in good spirits.
Das knave who we all know and love is very much going through a tough time with mountains of homework and very little time to himself, but hes still high up on my fwends list.

Well it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since I last did a journal.

PC updates: I got a few performance upgrades so my new specs are as follows:

For techies: AMD Phenom 64 2.2ghz quad core, 6gb PC2DDR2 ram, 320gb hard drive (soon to be upgraded), ATi Radeon HD 4650 Saffire 1gb DDR2 PCI-E graphics card, 600W psu.

For normal people: fast processing, lots of ram to make it run quick, moderate storage, fairly nice graphics, more POWAR!!

In other news: My placement at the school has ended so I'm oota work again , but I'll live
I'm still on the prooooooozac so I'm still a happie chappie.
I still even to this very day and forevar more LOOOOOOOOOVE Carol
I'm back into a more frequent fitness routine to get my body back into shape and hopefully reach my ideal BMI (Body Mass Index). I'm currently underweight.

Weather has been nice for a while so hopefully there might be a few piccys coming up, but I never know.
Most of the ones recently are total carp anyways I might delete them.

Aaaaand on a final note I officially have two great fwends evar!!

Whoooooo it's been a while since I did an update here
Well as you can tell I'm in a good mood

Lets see what's new/different:
My first deviation to go past the 1000 views mark is

I now have a Canon EF 50mm II F/1.8 which I got for my 20th birthday. It's a really good lens too.
Aye I'm 20 now!

I've noticed a difference in my geeeetar playing
Oh on that subject I got a Roland Micro Cube amp for my birthday too which is BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!! (got an electric geetar? then get this amp!)

The new 8gb CF card for my camera has decided it doesn't like doing its job of saving the photos I take so I'm hoping the hard format I'm doing on it solves this problem, but if it doesn't and if I don't smash it into a million pieces it's going back and I want a full refund for it.

Oh and none of this is a laughing matter in any way!
But rob thinks it is.... that dickhead needs a serious reality check because hes such a fucking arsehole!
I could go on and on aboot rob, but I wont... even if I want to stab his "precious" face in!

Well it has been a very long while since I last updated my journal since the last time was August!

What's new:
My new D-SLR which I've had for a wee while now. It's great, but the weather is not...
(Also fast camera, slow subjects)
Grant Media is still under construction, but the business plan is almost finished.
Semi new server for GM made from mine and rob's old computers.
I still WOVE CAROL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Danny is (and has been for a while) my new best fwend!! which has probably made him quite uncomfortable

Heyo kidz!!

It is a real shame that there is a large amount of diminutive mentalities (small minds) in this world.
JK Exotics (the pet shop I did volunteer work for) have decided to blame me for their airborne mite problem and I am not the only person they have blamed.
It's a shame they have suddenly decided to do that to me because that was really the only place that kept me sane.... so I'll just have to suffer at home now wont I.
Also there will be no more cool reptile photos from there or anything like that and worst of all I wont be getting Clio the (currently) 6ft retic
They didn't even look at me when they spouted everything I supposedly had done.... oh and I apparently gave them to two boas. Two boas I never knew existed and had never seen.
Basically because I wasn't there for 5 days because I wasn't in the mood to go, it's all my fault. They needed someone to blame so I was the victim.

Enough aboot that I think...

Photography has been slow, but I should be able to order my new D-SLR so that'll be nice and the weather seems to be getting better so it should be good for some wildlife photos.

I'm looking for ways to make money... so far I have graphic design, website design and Rob's DJing..... anything else?

Heyo there!!

Well it seems that this month everything to do with computers wants to go wrong.
Dad has just had to buy a new one and my pc is randomly deleting things, i.e. music so I'm now spending most of my time put it all back again!!..... I'm nae happy!

I'm still trying to find a semi-cheap price for a certain camera (which shall remain nameless). So far I've found two good prices for it... and a fairly cheap spare battery.

Photography has been slow this month from a mix of bad weather and poor light quality.

I have decided that I am no good at writing journals. My evidence? I started this at 10pm ish and it's now 2:06am... see the problem there?

Ok it's 3:25am now I think I'll just end it here and edit it later so...

G'day lads and lasses!!

It seems that because I have no flare for making my journals interesting I'll just do a rough update every month abit like me lass Carol.

Well I'll start with the recent news:
I got my new guitar yestoday, it's a Tanglewood TW145-SC (I think) premium series electric 6 string acoustic and I love it! It came fitted with D-Addario strings which are destroying my fingers.... their numb right now!......... OW! OW! they hurt NOW!!!
I'm learning to play more songs, even songs I thought were difficult until I saw how many chords were needed.
My back doesn't hurt as much as it did a couple of weeks ago. I think my mattress needs to be flipped over again.

I think dad likes my guitar more than his own which is slightly annoying and hes trying to teach me, but he needs to slow down and show it to me in "I am thick" mode so I get it right.

My subby runs oot in a months time so that's another thing I need to sort oot... I'll do it soon.

I'm trying to think if there was anything else.............. Photography is slow at the moment for the pretty boring weather and the poor light quality, but when the weather gets better I'll post something up to keep you all amused.

G'day to the world!!!!

Well what new do I have to report today......

I had 3 teeth on the right of my mouth taken oot on monday and today is the first day I've been able to eat solid food

I'm learning to play the guitar. So far I've got most of the chords sussed... apart from B and I can play the sum total of 3 songs and a few parts of others.

It's been a slow month for photography so that's why theres a lack of... well anything really.

Finally got a working xbox360, the last one just came up with "System Error E68" (whatever that is), but this one works and so far I've only got 2 games for it so I'll get some more when I get some money to buy them.
Current games: Forza Motorsport 2 & Viva Pinata (odd, but addictive)
Still not sure aboot xbox live so I'll wait for that.

Aye I turned 19 on the 1st of Feb ...... didn't get much for it, but that doesn't bother me.
I got a few miscellaneous things which are useful to me and the 360 hasn't arrived yet so..... ah hell I can wait.


I've just recently managed to convert RAW's into something more useful so I'll be playing for a while to see what I can create and since my compact camera can save in both RAW and jpeg I'll always have a fairly useful copy.

My new "pocket" camera arrived yestoday and so far I have only taken 70odd photos..... I'M SLIPPING!!!!!!! MUST TAKE PHOTOS!!!!!!!! MUST TAKE PHOTOS!!!!!!!!
Anyways: I got a Canon PowerShot G9 which (for those non-expensive camera users) is the top of the range PowerShot [link] .
Camera Specs:
12.1 mega pixels
6x optical + 24x digital zoom with IS (Image Stabilizer)
25 shooting modes (I've tried 12 i think)
ND filter..... whatever that is
3" LCD Pure Colour screen which is a little big and I've got millions of finger marks on it already
Magnesium (something) alloy to make it lightweight and rugged. (and most probably will glow white when in a furnace).......(not going to try)
and BLACK!!

In normal circumstances I will push a camera to its limits, but I think this camera is going push me to the limits.

Yes I'm nearing the magical 5000 Pageviews...... bit too late if you ask me.

Anyways...

I'm researching into Digi-Scoping which is just where you slap a digital camera to the end on a telescope. I've seen examples that just blow my mind at the magnification ad clarity.
Go on [link] ... the banner at the top shows you the advantages of digi-scoping.
There are some disadvantages:
-Price
-Need separate eyepiece
-Bracket
-Tripod (got one, wrong fitting)

It'll be an investment.

I'm also job hunting in a town with almost 0 jobs for my skills...... Damit!!

I've been experimenting with the extender again and now that I know its limitations I think I will get a pocket camera for more close up work since the 100-400 + the extender's version of "wide angle" is tiny portion of the bigger picture.

erm....

Birthday is coming up on the 1st of Feb, just a simple "happy birthday here will do fine. I don't want people rushing off to do something for it, birthdays are not that big a deal for me now.
I'll be 19...... I know... OLD!

Atleasti can say this, my self confidence has im proved greately!!
I'd recomend anyone whos is between and are the ages of 16-23 and struggling with life for a multitude of reasons to have a go and to stick with it. "Quitters never win, but winners never quit" remember that and you will always succeed.

I got my 2x extender early and everyone said you would need to tripod the camera in order to get agood shot..... do ye fook!!
I did better without it.

On a side note:

I was looking at my gallery stats and "A lens in a lens" seems to be my most viewed deviation and I can't understand why.
On the other end of the scale "Rainbow Waterfall" is very much unloved.

Not that I'm trying to get people to go through my entire gallery (people's lives aren't long enough for that), but just to give me some positive feedback once in a while.

Those who look at and comment on my recent photos will notice that there is alot of wild and semi-wildlife photos. I'm trying out my new lens (Canon EF100-400mm [link]), but I have found that even that doesn't get me close enough so I'm going to have to invest in a 2x extender which will effectively make it a 200-800mm which should get me the distance from the subject I need and the subject in full frame.

Just a quick update because I needed to do one.

Prince's trust is going fine. we're currently looking for way to raise money for a community project and I think we're still going ahead with the abseling down a church tower and I think I'm doing it.... should be fun *faints*.

Still trying to get extra camera equipment for wildlife photography e.g. 2x extender, camoflauge, better camera, etc.

I've been told by teh almighty and sweet ~moonlightprincess99 that I need to put more faith in my photos, but the fact is if I hate it, everyone else will love it. e.g. I love it. No one else does.

Question to all good photographers out there (and ok ones too): Is when you can picture the photo in your mind and being able to actually get it the mark of a good photographer?

It’s a 12 week course covering confidence building and team building skills.
I’m going on a 1 week residential (outward bound) with what’s left of the team. I have mixed feelings about this, but at least I know I’m not the only one.
This course has been helping me alot with my depression (dunno if I made it public or not) (I suffer from moderate depression and I don’t take any meds. I chose against it) by keeping me busy and getting me to meet new people.
I’ve been learning lots in this past week: sign language, lip reading (we’ve got a deaf lad in our team), drugs awareness, first aid, stuff about the RLNI (google it), communication skills, basic teamwork skills, etc…
Summery : For those of you who care I’ll be gone for one week.

General Update
I’m feeling a lot happier about myself and about my life. Now that I have something to do I don’t feel bored, lethargic or low.
It’s been a slow month for photography because there hasn’t been much to photograph. Also I still have writers block.

I think that’s everything…….

Ok lets see what’s happened to me so far......

Well the gaming pc is up and running. I have had no problems with it yet apart from the fact the processor overheats every 5 or 6 hours.
I've got a load of games installed apart from two which I like to play because I can't find the disks. (how stupid I am)
Also if anyone knows where I can get a caddy connector for HP DV2000 laptop hard drive, please let me know.
Oh and there is a load of non-compatible or broken computer parts going back.
Well that’s the high point in my life for now. It works!!

Life in general has been going pretty shit for me lately. Starting with my internet going down (modem problems this time). The ntl internet in my area went down 2 days ago and mine has decided to just stay dead so thoughts of shooting the modem has come back.
I’ve broken my £30 ($60) earphones for the 4th time, they just don’t make them tough enough. So that’s more money needed.
C&C 3 has come out here in the UK and I don’t have enough money to get it so those of you who have it BEWARE!! I might murder you for it.
I got a migraine yesterday and to make things worse I went out on my bike with a friend and he got a puncture so it was a slow trip back in the dark without a working front light. Also we got a bit drunk on Strongbow at the start of the ride.

(Take a break from reading because I do after this much writing)

Photo opportunities have been few and far between and the inspiration to do more or writing something nice has gone so suggest stuff and I’ll have a go.

If I think of anything else I’ll add it later, but for now since I’m doing this during a boring ICT graphics lesson.

Ok where do I start............... oh yes! Computers.

I got all the computer parts that I ordered on Tuesday: Asrock Motherboard, AMD 64 x2 processor, 2x 1GB DDR RAM, Asus ATI X1600Pro 512MB PCI-E, Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 OEM PCI Soundcard, Extra Value Black Soccer Case With LED - No PSU and a couple of hard drives.

Ok..... the graphics card is the wrong one and is slightly monged, the 1st hard drive that came was for the laptop.... wrong one for the laptop, the 2nd one was supposed to be for the new pc.... they sent us another laptop hard drive which was still the wrong type.
Everything works apart from the graphics which is supposed to be onboard, but becuase it's Asrock it don't work. So time to buy another graphics card.

FUCKING COMPUTERS!!!!!!

The funeral for my great antuie Mary was today.
Me, dad and Sam went to scotland for it and we had to say in a Travel Inn, not the best beds in the world and I only got 2 hours sleep becuase of it, but at least I gotmy own room.
The funeral was alright apart from the fact you could tell there was no sliver of sanity left in the minister (I think thats what hes called), but the food afterwards and the other side of the family all togeather was good.

Long trip home, long sleep ahead. amen

I was going with my dad and his girlfriend Sam (she’s a nutter).
My first thought of the pace when I saw the two bouncers at the door was, “oh shit what is this place”. Turns out they were only there to keep out the riff raff…..I’m proud of being a part that crowd. I hate dressing up for things.

Yes anyways…. once we got in I looked around and thought the lighting was abit odd, abit darkish. They have a separate area for the drinks and the meal, like most restaurants have but every 2 minutes I was asked by someone “would you like a drink sir” or “would you like another one sir”. I was coming close to saying “NO NOW FUCK OFF!!!!” back to them.

Trying to read the menus was fun. I would like to meet the graphical designer they got to make the menu, just so I can smack him, sack him and make a better one from scratch. The letters were in a font the when you looked at it, they all merged together and at the top they had pictures of food and wine. They had a picture of glasses of wine on the steaks page which made me miss it thrice and I had to get dad to translate. The meal was ok…..ish. I don’t think it was cooked properly. Oh I’m not going to say what I had because I can’t remember.
All I had to drink there was a pint of Guinness so at least I had a saint Pattys day Guinness.
I decided not to have a dessert, I just wanted to get out of there.
At least dad thought that place was crap too. So we won’t be going there again.

Afterward we decided to have a walk by the rivers edge near the millennium bridge.
Right next to the bridge was this music student I had seen before playing her guitar and singing from her very soul to the passers by.
I stood there and listened for ages before going over and giving her some money. She has a wonderful singing voice, I hope she does well. I would defiantly pay to see her perform. Dad reckoned all she needed was a 12 string guitar to project the music out more. Her voice needs no training. She is good.

She was the high point of my entire evening.

A nightmare of a meal to a relaxing song before going home.

The one song made it a good night.

There was only a 10 minute interval between them which made me quite anoyed... but some time out of class was good

I suppose it's kinda allright for me because we don't have the flashing lights to make us nauseated, we just have a really anoying alarm. Also the fire station is only 500yards away so if there was a fire the fire brigade (fire department) would be here in a matter of seconds.... even though it took them about 3 minutes to get here.

I don't know what it's like in america, but here one of the least paid jobs in Britian is the fire brigade. I don't understand how people who put their lives on the line every day get paid so little for it. It's stupid and there have been many stikes becuase of it. Damn Margret Thatcher 1980's Conservitive shit.

Anyways......

In other news my laptop's hard drive died so I'm not on the hunt for a new laptop hard drive. Not too bothered about it, it's a shit laptop anyway.
Also my pc is on a wired internet connection so no more wifi fuckups yey!!

I'm sure there is more, I just need to remember.

All of these have had some good points, but many bad points.
Don't be fooled into thinking a clan is good because what the members say, they have probably been brainwashed into saying that stuff.
To give an example of one clan I faught back on to stop them changing me:
TBK treid to push me away from sniping and even said they would kick me out if they caught me sniping in their server or in any server for that matter. I said "GO FOR IT!", they couldn't because as much as they hates to admit it, they needed a sniper on their team to give them a long range advantage.
They once took sniper rifles off the choice menu, I just picked a fairly powerful gun and put it on semi.

Take a breather...................... I know lots and lots of writing and most of it you will probably ignore.................................. look at something else to give your eyes a rest from reading.......................................................................................................................

My she rest in peace and rejoice with her past family members in heaven for all eternity.
