- How many years have you cosplayed?
Roughly 5... maybe?

- How did you get into cosplaying?
Decided to go to an Anime Con for fun, and thought it would be stupid to NOT dress up, so it was a whim.

- What was your first convention and how did it go?
Anime USA forever ago. It was pretty fun, i got tons of attention and my picture in an Anime magazine... which hooked me onto cosplaying for good.

- How many cons have you been to?
Over 10, i think.

- How many cosplays have you done?
Maybe 15 or so?


[[Your Cosplays]]

- What was your first cosplay and why did you choose it?
Ouka from .hack//SIGN (manga version), I chose it because it was simple to make, and I had a majority of the materials already.

- What is your favorite cosplay you've done so far?
Casual America and Casual Prussia. Very comfortable and fangirls are always a plus!

- What is your least favorite you've cosplayed?
Jessica from Umineko. While it was a beautiful and very comfortable cosplay, it was just so awkward because of how little known the series is. Maybe i'm an attention whore for this, but I love being recognized :/

- What cosplay is the most uncomfortable?
Mion Sonozaki. But only because of the wig. It always shifts and gets heavy and itchy at times. I dislike cosplay with long wigs anyway :/


[[Process]]

- How do you research the cosplay before you make it?
I save boatloads of reference pictures for the outfit i'd like to make, and then sketch out each and every part i'd need. I re-draw it several times to framiliarize myself with it before starting to collect materials.

- Do you sew your cosplays yourself?
I CAN if I absolutely need to, but i prefer cosplays that need little to no sewing. I detest it, but can. And thankfully, I have a wonderful friend (Sarah) that is always willing to help my incompetant ass

- If so, how did you learn to sew? If not, do you plan to learn?
I wing it.

- Do you make your own props?
Yeah, I love it. It's a fun creative process.

- If so, how did you learn to? If not, do you plan to learn?
I was born creative and tend to think outside the box, so making things comes naturally to me... if needed tho, there's always google.

- Do you style your own wigs?
Yes Styling and cutting the wigs is always my favorite part.

- What other skills do you use to create your cosplays?
Drawing.

- What skill has been most useful for making your cosplay?
Creativity and thinking outside the box.

- What is the hardest thing when making a cosplay?
Sewing by hand.

- What was the biggest screw up you've had making a cosplay?
Buying fabric that looks perfect, and coming to find out it's way off.

- How often do you injure yourself while making a cosplay?
My fingers hate me.... T^T

- Do you try to stay cheap or do you splurge on materials?
I splurge all the time... no matter what the occasion.

- Have you ever cosplayed with a partner or group?
Yeah, as of recent. I used to fly solo until a collected a Con-Family.

- Do you try to act in character?
For photos and gatherings. Other then that, i'm just me.

- Have you ever done fanservice at a con? (Yaoi, yuri, etc)
All the time, but only with girls. Doesn't matter what gender of the character, as long as the cosplay is female.

- How do you react to cosplayers dressed as character from the same anime/game/etc?
I get pretty excieted, and will approach them in character and make fun about it.

- Do you try to duplicate your character's expressions, walk, movements, etc?
In certain situations, but for the most part i'm too distracted by the atmosphere and friends to concentrate on stayings in character.

- When crossplaying, do you try to act as much like the gender as possible?
Actually, yes. Crossplaying gives me an excuse to be a pervy dude

- What was your funniest experience of acting in character?
Getting to kick the shit out of Satoshi while dressed as Shion. Almost kicked him right off the platform.

- What was your worst experience acting in character?
None as of yet.
