Well, Dear friends....^{I guess my Mom & Dad can look down with pride from the great beyond,knowing their Last-born son is of STRONG MORAL FIBER.
Although,I have tons of Bills to pay...When I Found that WALLET...But I'm getting ahead of myself.}

For the last couple of months,I've been livin' paycheck to paycheck,working as a driver for a Shuttle service(Minimum wage + Tips),Even though the pay is weekly,It isn't enough to replenish my emergency fund or pay of some of my larger debts
Anyway,the tips keep gas in the tank & help with some of the lesser bills.
Tonight,I took a family from Atlanta Airport to Columbus;the Wife had moved from India to take a job with AFLAC(& took Almost their house with them-9 large bags?!)....Anyway I dropped them off at a posh hotel & got a generous Tip,I took my van back to the yard to wash vaccuum & retire the vehicle for the night.
I was cleaning the backseat where the family sat when I found the WALLET...It's thickness told me there was a ransom inside...One glance at the BENJAMINS proved it...Without another thought,I took it to the Shift SUPERVISOR,she counted it out in front of witnesses & the CAMERA and instructed me to return it personally..I took it to the posh hotel,but since it was late,they wouldn't distrub their guests,So I left it in the hotel safe with a note...Now I'm sure people that I owe Money would've LOVED ME to have taken the $400 + dollars & paid them off but I wasn't raised that way...

^{I fell in love with Carlin's style of Humour very Early on in my life,it was another way ro survive the Culture-shock of moving to Mississippi.
At my School,The Juniors Paid for the Seniors' Prom by Bake Sales,Candy drives,etc. But since we came up short,In desperation,the committee needed a clean Comedy Routine for the minutes during the Band's breaks....I had been chompin' at the bit to do something on stage so I volunteered to come up with a parody of Mr.Carlin's Wonderful W.I.N.O. skit(which was pretty easy,since I was a part-time Annoucer ATM)....I was nervous,but it didn't show & It got laughs so - Mission Accomplished!

As a Master of OBSERVATIONAL HUMOUR,Every time you'd see him on HBO or see him live (Once) You'd leave thinking "You know - He's RIGHT! We are kinda stupid! We Can do Better!" And I try to live by the ideals he's put forth in the writings...I found and continue to find wisdom in his observations.He was a great man who lived life his way & that's all the best we can ask for...So long & Goodbye Mister Carlin,you will be missed...!

After Looking 14 hours for a mis-placed cellphone,and finding it...I thought the week could be starting out right....
WRONG!!
I was almost home when my boss called to tell me my car(which wasn't running anyway) was among 8 vehicles at the Clear Channel PARKING LOT that were broken into & ransacked!
So I've been up at work all night..And now It too pissed to sleep...'Cause it looked like the Vandals wanted to make sure my vehicle wouldn't roll ever again - The GEAR shift is so F**king damaged I can't even put it in neutral - aside from the Stereo they snagged,it looked like they wanted to drive off in my car,it wouldn't start,So A**hole figured if "I can't drive it - NO ONE WILL..!"

So Instead of a car that needed only 1200.00 repairs(that I amost have the money for)....I now have a 2000 Chrysler PIECE OF SH*T,maybe the Junkyard will pay something decent for it.....

I guess it's the GHETTO'S answer to high gas prices(Since the Cops say it looks like they were going to set it on fire)....

1) My Car is DOA...It seems the TUNE up I got last June was only HALF a Tune up....The Bad Sparkplugs got fouled & started affecting the good ones,so now The Engine's a total loss I can get to car lot for a trade-in but I can't do that ATM 'cause I still owe....

2)My Internet at home is gone....The Phone Jack was damaged in last week's storm,but I can't afford to have it repaired because of the Car problem,so I just had 'em pull the plug...Sorry If I'm not around so much in the next month or two....

The Royal Bank of Scotland, like other banks in the U.K., is widely criticized for charging onerous fees to customers who make mistakes on their account, such as overdrafts or late payments (levying charges of many times the actual costs of handling the mistakes). Customer Declan Purcell of East London sued the bank over the excessive fees and won a default judgment when the bank failed to respond. Armed with a court order entitling him to the equivalent of $6,600, Purcell led bailiffs into a Royal Bank branch lobby in January to seize four computers, two fax machines and cash. Denver International Airport was reputed to be an "all-weather" facility that would operate seamlessly in a blizzard, but when it failed during the January snowstorms (closed for 45 hours), an embarrassed airport spokesman, Chuck Cannon, admitted he'd like "to choke the person who came up with (the 'all-weather') term." Clenzo Thompson, 45, was arrested in New York City in January after allegedly robbing the same Commerce Bank branch twice in three days. Ms. Pan Alying, a schoolteacher in China's Shandong province, had her purse snatched in January (containing her mobile phone, bank cards and cash) and decided to try pleading with the thief by sending text messages to her stolen phone. According to Xinhua news agency, she patiently sent 21 sympathetic notes to the man, with no answer, but the day after the last one, she found a package at her door containing her purse and all its contents intact, with a note, "I'm sorry. ... Christoper Columbus was on his fourth expedition to the New World when he and his crew were stranded on Jamaica. They survived by trading with the natives for food. But when the Spaniards mistreated some of the locals, they cut off the supplies.

Columbus knew there would be a total lunar eclipse on the night of February 29th, 1504. He told tribal leaders that his God was angry with them, and would take away the Moon. When the eclipse began, the leaders begged him to restore the Moon. He promised to do so -- if he and his men received the supplies they needed. The leaders agreed, the eclipse ended, and Columbus and his crew survived until they were rescued a few months later.}

I've been wanting to work harder on the site but I've been prevented. Even though I sinked some of my own personal money for new software, the site still may go down.

^{This week started out Not-so-good & went Down hill from there....Last thursday,My last Uncle in my immediate Family Died after 88 years of enriching other's days...Even Sick & Ailing Himself,He(Like my Father Before Him) thought more of Not worrying the people around him..I hope I can be that Altruistic in my final Days....

I sprent most of the last weekend making plans to attend His service,Getting the Car Tuned & prepped,MapQuesting the best Route,etc...I was determined to not let Family Politics get in way...I was Ostracised from the family long ago for Persuing a "Love that dare not Speak it's NAME"....After 15 years being on my own is second nature,& I'm rather settled in with prospect of being on my own when I meet the Grim One...! Anyway,out of 6 siblings on my 2 sisters from Omaha & their kids made the trek to Philadelphia,Mississippi...My Elder Brother lives there & along with my Dear Uncle's surviving family,made all the arrangements...Monday came & asside form a Hitch or two,things went alright...I couldn't stay for the Enterrment ceremony afterwards-I had to be at work the next day....Driving Home it hit ME..."You know you're old when Old people that will be Dying next Will be your siblings"....I wonder,if they didn't care enough to attend Uncle Kaiser's funeral,why would they care if I dropped dead...?

AS I sit at the control console,NEW YEAR'S has left me behind once again...I Resolve to Make myself financially secure THIS YEAR(instead of living from Paycheck to paycheck)!

My Work has gone a LONG way toward making that Resolution TRUE....Even though we were Hired as Temporary Workers,the PROMISE of PERMANENT positions were dangled in front of us like the proverbial Carrots-the Number of Positions & How many Would be Hired changed from day to day...But my Supervisor told me to keep up my Quality of Work & Not believe the B.S.....I keep up my Hard Working ethic up 'til Friday-OUR LAST DAY!!!

Well let's see....The week started out as usual...Then Wednesday,The SHOP STEWARD told us that the JOB we were working on RUNS OUT on Dec.31....The Next day, the team Leaders were summoned to an "emergency" meeting.......After Lunch my Team Leader took me aside and Informed me that they only were permanently Hiring one person from EACH TEAM....And Recognizing my Hard work & Dedication-HE CHOSE ME!! I got my X-mas PRESENT Early!!!!....

AND I went to the COMPANY'S X-MAS Party..Not as Good as Last Year's...But With the News from my other JOB - I was celebrating that as much as Anything Else..! 2 Mixed drinks(ScrewwDrivers),1 Beer & 2 Glasses of Wine...I was feelin' Pretty good when I went home..!

I AM At a total loss when I Read the Journal from

As all of you know, I recently moved back to my homeland: Scotland. There was a family emergency which involves me directly. I have breast cancer. My doctor told me that I have any where from three to six months to live because of the spread of the cancer. I am still hopeful and my faith is still strong. If I do pass away because of this then I know I will go to heaven. I wanted to let all of you know what is going on with me and let you know why you have not seen or heard from me in quite some time. So, if you do not hear from me again, you know why. I love you all and may God continue to bless you.

Well Let's see...I've been at New Job for a Almost a Month now & Although the work is tough...The Hardest thing about being a SHAW INFRASTRUCTURE,INC. Was tolerating an absolute Lazy,two-faced,arguementitive,condesending,infuriating,arrogant,Lying,S.O.B. who shall remain STUPID!@_@
He was just so unpleasant that the ENTIRE team hated his GUTS! And It ONLY TOOK 2 days for that...He got into Arguements with the LEADMAN CONSTANTLY OVER the most inane,simply pointless subjects I've ever HEARD...! I had informed the MAN that "This Job was his to Keep or his to LOSE...And with his attitude,it was gonna be the LATTER" But,of course-He KNEW Better...

Unfortunately, He decided to Skip out on a MANDATORY WORK Day, Returned the next day,Got into another Arguement-Was sent to Head OFFICE,where in the course of hearing That DAILY RANT,his absence was detected...When pressed to offer an explanation-He LIED...Was caught by the Boss in His untruth & was summarily TERMINATED....It is sad when one loses his job,but when ONE is given every opportunity to succeed & squanders the chance-then the FOOL deserves no Tears....! I couldn't help by smile at the news of his termination...It was RAINING SO HARD they sent us home that day....But for me the SUN WAS SHINING & RAINBOWS FILLED THE SKY!

An Associated Press investigation revealed in September that $5 billion in Small Business Administration loans authorized in the wake of Sept. 11 was so poorly managed that businesses close to New York City's Ground Zero went begging for money while thousands of businesses throughout the country got emergency loans by creatively describing how they were hurt by the Islamist-terrorist attacks. More than 130 franchised fast-food shops; dentists and chiropractors; a South Dakota radio station; a Utah dog boutique; and a Virgin Islands perfume shop were among those who got the mostly guaranteed loans. SBA admitted that it assigned some ordinary loans to the 9-11 fund on its own and generously accepted others' 9-11 "qualifications." [Richmond Times-Dispatch-AP, 9-9-05]

In other News: Work is kinda tough but I have a Shaw Industries Employee Handbook!! The Head honcho gave it to me last Friday..! According the other workers,That's pretty much a 100% garantee you are HIRED!!

Since Friday is Veteran's Day I have Fiday & Saturday OFF!! A Friend who builds Computers in his spare time wants me to buy a Refurbished & Fully-loaded Laptop...But I'm just getting used to my ...I DON'T WANT TO Be MOBILE...I don't even have a Cell phone!

I think I'll take a day off and relapse in Atlanta...And then get to work on some LONG OVER-Due GiftART!!

TEEN TITANS UPDATE

Cartoon Network has adjusted its schedule for Saturday night premieres of Teen Titans episodes.

Here's a rundown, with descriptions of the episodes:

"Snowblind" on Saturday: While battling a mysterious creature in the wilds of Siberia, Starfire is lost in a blinding snowstorm. Red Star, a reclusive young soldier, comes to her aid and the two become fast friends. When Robin and the rest of the Teen Titans arrive, they discover Red Star hides not only a tragic past, but a destructive secret.

"Kole" on Nov. 5: While in the Arctic Circle, the Teen Titans once again take on Dr. Light. And when an accident sends the Teen Titans through the ice, they discover a exotic new underworld, and two new superheroes: Kole and her caveman sidekick, Gnarrk.

"Hide & Seek" on Nov. 12: With the other Teen Titans off fighting exciting battles with the Brotherhood of Evil, Raven is left with the worst task of all -- transporting three rambunctious future superheroes to safety. But this simple task turns into an adventure in babysitting as Raven and her young charges are chased through the Alps by the Brotherhood of Evil's Msr. Mallah.

Michael Rosenbaum is providing the voice of Kid Flash in an upcoming episode of Cartoon Network's Teen Titans animated series.

Warner Bros. Animation has provided The Continuum with a first look at the character, who will appear in the "Lightspeed" episode.

Here's how the episode is described:

"With Titans dispatched across the globe, members of the Hive Five figure they have it made. Unfortunately their city-wide crime spree is cut short when a new hero in town spoils the fun. Handing him over to the Brotherhood of Evil may score the Hive Five points, but actually catching this lightning-fast do-gooder is much harder than it seems."

The episode has yet to be scheduled by Cartoon Network, but could air as early as November.

Rosenbaum, who plays Lex Luthor in The WB's Smallville, also has provided the voice of The Flash in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

Ever since "Reaganomics" reared it Ugly Head, The Bottom Line is the only thing that matters in BIG BUSINESS - Time served,Loyalty,Job Performance all take a back seat to the Company's Rule :"IF THOU ART A PART-TIME EMPLOYEE,THOU SHALT HAVE THIS MANY HOURS & NO MORE!!" Well,that's was a problem where I'm working now - Since the End of May,I've been living Paycheck to paycheck 'cause of that rule..Since then My Boss has been trying to either get me a raise or on FULL TIME....He got me the raise.. Since my Paychecks will below my cost of living very soon I was forced to Apply at a Employment Agency..They Have procured me work at nearby Fort Benning at $12.00 an Hour 40hr a week + possible Overtime..! It's gonna be Hard Work,but the price is gonna be worth it! The Lady at Agency was a little antsy about me 'cause of my weekend work at the station..But I told Her "I give as much I get to my employer...Clear Channel only wants me part-time so they don't deserve (or will they get) as much as SHAW Industries(scary)...If they willing to pay me that much,they get me 100%-PLUS!! So I'll still work when I can at my old job,but the New One takes priority....! I hope It works out!

Let's see....Not much going on as far as Trades, Requests, and such....

In Clovis, N.M., in July, Danny J. Jimenez, 51, was sentenced to six years in prison for a pair of 2003 burglaries. Police had captured Jimenez by following the blood trail that stemmed from his encounter with a pawn shop's glass jewelry case. Later, investigators learned that an injury to Jimenez's head did not come from the jewelry case but occurred when Jimenez accidentally hit himself with a hammer while burglarizing a church later that night. In July, firefighters in Stamford, Conn., had to break a car window, against the owner's wishes, to rescue her 23-month-old son, whom she had accidentally locked inside along with the key. The kid had been sweltering for more than 20 minutes when Susan Guita Silverstein, 42 (who was later charged with reckless endangerment), implored firefighters to let her go home and get a spare key so they wouldn't have to damage her Audi A4.
