... back from the "SPIEL09" in Essen, a great trade fair for comics, boardgames, plushies, "trading card games"... and... miniatures! Wooh!
Well, okay, this year the fair has been a lot smaller than in the previous years... and, sad enough, the finest miniatures (those of Rackham, to be exact) have not even been displayed, only these god-damn-it-I'm-already-assembled-and-painted-and-ready-to-play-miniatures. I hate them so much.
Anyway... I found an alternative to Rackham - Freebooter Miniatures. And - woah - an already known name amongst the designers. Werner Klocke, for those of you who know him, he started miniature designing for Reaper Minatures.
Well, I used the opportunity and bought two awesome miniatures. First, an Ice Witch or Ice Queen, whatever you might call it. This one is almost two years old... and the second is so new that it isn't even mentioned in any catalogue. "Monsieur Mort", the lover from the grave. *laughs hysterically*
... no, nothing necrophile, you sick, sick persons. Simply a skeletonized gentleman.
Well, now finally, here's the interesting part: ~DuskFennec also got himself a copy of this miniature... and, how should I say... we decided to find out, who of us is the better painter. What could be better than using the same miniature for this? *grins*

...motherofjesuswhathappenedhere?!
*yawn*
Back from hibernation... well, at least partially. Just added a "new" devitation... even though this fellow was already finished several months ago.
... no excuses for this.
Something else... Uh, yes. Finished two more models... Rackham's Water Elemental and Ashan'tyr, the Guardian of Runes still is a WiP...
I still plan on posting a series of photos of how I paint miniatures. Maybe someone is interested in how i layer colours... *laughs hysterically*
Well, that's it for today... hope to upload something new soon.

Ack. Finished two more minatures, but didn't have the time to make photos... and I still don't own a camera!
And my mom still tries to get me clean up my room (and my painting table)... well, at least I started to do so, but... the result won't satisfy her.

Still, there are some good news - I passed year 12 at school
And I passed with the best marks since the 6th year. Well, that might sound awful... but the people who know me know, that this is not as good as it sounds. My average mark is a 3 ... the german equivalent to a "c- grade". I'm satisfied with that

Well, something else to mention... ah, yes. I'm 19 years old now... omigod. Feels like... well, a lot older. And - damn! - my father didn't think of a camera... instead, he gave me a MP3- player able to play videos and to view photos. his exact words were; "I was told that the youth of today needs this." Purrfectly alrigthy.

That's me. At the moment. And even though we own a cat for the next 4 1/2 weeks, I still seem to have enough blood left inside me to live. Yay.

Uploads follow as soon as possible... first need to find a useable camera.

Well... I'm only some minutes away from uploading my newest devitation... once again a miniature, this time it's a Wolfen Character - Onyx of the loafers!

I spent around 6 or 7 hours to paint this guy... and I'm kinda confident with the result!
Now all I got to do is to find a working digital camera...

... Just have a look as soon as he is up
