Ten things you're grateful for

...in no particular order of course

1 - Cheese. You may laugh but come on cheese pretty much goes with every food ever. A world without cheese and bacon paninis is a very sad world indeed. Bacon would have gone here if it weren't for cheese.

2 - Computers and the internet. Pretty much my sole source of socialising these days, other than visits to Callums and such. Also how I met Wes.

3 - Callum. For being my best mate, someone who is a shortish bus/walk/bike ride away if anything happens (unlike everyone else) and generally being awesome. He is also awesome for having emo music on hand which is prime material for pissing off chavs of busses. I have just realised that he is now my longest term mate too.

4 - Public transport. You can diss it all you like but it's the only way I can get about. I'll just have to cope with no buses on Sundays or after 6:30pm, and trains are <3 Coaches too are awesome but unfortunatly the times are too dodgy for me to be able to exploit the awesome fare

5 - People being just that... people. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me angry, they make me hyper. I dunno. I'll use work as an example. Most of these people are total strangers here. Sure, some are arsey. But most will give you a smile, some will have a little chat, and occasionally you even get someone helping you out even though they don't have to. It's awesome.

6 - Nat. For being a laugh, keeping me up at night by messaging me THE MINUTE BEFORE I TURN OFF THE PC. She has the most awesome musical taste ever. I mean come on. Queen!

7 - Work. Sure, it gets in the way of the little non-digital socialising I have at times (I don't have a massive amount of energy really and a 9 hour shift pretty much does me in) but as mentioned previously, the customers are generally cool (except when they throw up) and the people who work there are awesome. And I'm not gonna lie, I like earning my own wage.

8 - Parents and family and such. I wouldn't be here without them. They have all played a part in making me... me. From the obvious, my Mum and Dad for being quite awesome and Amy for being the sibling who I share secrets with then attack with various weapons. Gran was absolutely awesome in every way ever, with her humour and wit and artistic prowess and lack of tact which Mum inherited from her and me from Mum. I miss Gran loads. Grandad has always been quite cool, although to be honest I haven't talked to him much since he's going deaf and I can't shout very well. But he has turned a van into a caravanette which is a SURE SIGN OF AWESOMENESS. Nana has always been the family rock of my Dad's side as it were, even if she thinks I'm vegitarian when I wouldn't have gravy or mash but ate my meat. She's the emotional support grandparent and also awesome. I can't remember Grandpa very well since he died when I was 12 iirc, but I remember he loved technology despite his lack of skill with it and doted over his Windows 95 pc. Every time we visited him and Nana he would pen me and Amy's heights on the door to the living room so he could track how we grew. Dad clearly got his love of computers from him. Most of the cousins I know are awesome too (although I am biased towards my Mum's side here because we visit Dad's side so rarely)

9 - The basics. Having a roof over my head, regular meals, a bed to sleep in, that kinda thing. I must admit I take it all for granted and I really should stop that.

10 - Wes. WE ALL KNEW THIS WAS COMING DIDN'T WE?! Well yah, for always being there for me, even if I would rather he was here than there. For making me happy almost effortlessly and for almost always having something to talk about which I don't know how he does that because I run out of topics quickly. For making me laugh and stuff. For being a bit shit at choosing cards which I love because he spends so long finding one he likes and it's a potato with a hammer stuck in it. For being lovely in pretty much every way ever - kind and sensetive and caring and stuff, yet he also has a sense of humour and is very intelligent. He likes to do silly little things like give me a hand when I stand up and opening doors for me and stuff.

kk I had a load of ideas about this in my head but they all went when I got home and found Amy on the comp.

I remember one though. About personal space.

It occured to me that people's feelings of personal space differ depending on how they're brought up. I mean it's common sense isn't it? Someone who is hugged a lot or whatever in their childhood is more likely to have a less rigid feeling of personal space.

If you look at it rhetorically, it's like you have a kind of "wall" around you. The least rigid is like being surrounded by a fine fabric like silk, while the most is like being surrounded by sheet steel. The average is like being surrounded by a more coarse fabric like linen or even sacking.

I think mine is on the more rigid side. Brick.

Mum and Dad were never particularly huggy. We used to ask Dad for hugs when we were little sometimes, and Mum would tickle us and stuff, but that's it. As a result I feel wierd when someone I don't know sits next to me on the bus or if I accidentally bump or touch someone's hand etc.

And I've realised when I look back. My friends never really hugged me. For any boys reading this, hugging is quite important in female friendship groups. They hug when they meet, they hug when they celebrate, they hug to say bye. So did my friendship group. To everyone but me. And this has had a knock on effect really, so out of them only Nat and sometimes Bhav really talk to me since they all went off to uni. I guess I just wasn't particularly approachable.

My personal space is walled off with brick.

It can be knocked through with the occasional person, charging through like the juggernaut, but it takes a bit and I'm usually knocked for six afterwards. Nat's the usual culprit

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming my parents. I'm sure my personality otherwise had a lot to do with it. And it's not the origin which bothers me, it's the effect it has.

The very first time I met Wes, I was a little awkward with how close he was. I wasn't used to it I guess. I don't think he was particularly happy about how I acted but the point is this:

I think he's breaking my wall down. Bit by bit, slowly but definatly surely, he's taking a brick and putting it somewhere else. At first he broke through it, and now he's dismantling it more perminantly I guess.

Maybe it'll be replaced by linen.

It is EXTREMELY rare to find your soulmate or whatever first time. Almost everyone goes through at least two or three people before they find the one.

Some people say words a lot harsher than they intend to (like me sometimes D: )

And probably the most important thing of all is this;
There is nothing wrong with being single. Being in a relationship does not make you better in any way. There is at the very least ten people who care so much about you that if you got into any kind of trouble they'd come running, no matter what they're doing or what kind of trouble it is

Our school bus didn't come today. Instead we got coaches! Two of them! It was awesome to the max.

Yesterday work was cool. I'm getting more responsibilities these days. And I'm hopefully getting trained on the slicer on Saturday, so no more annoyed customers on Wednesdays! Looking forwards to it.

Tuesday wasn't special really. Except I stayed up late. Until around half past midnight on Wednesday in fact

Monday was great and horrible at the same time. Great because I was at Wes' house, horrible because I had to get the train back.

Saturday and Sunday were just awesome

Yah I went there on Friday after school.

I miss him


Now after this lesson I am going home. On Saturday I will work and be trained, Sunday I will either doss or hang out with Callum.

Monday is doss day, Tuesday school, Wednesday school and work, and Thursday will be school and an interview for Leicester College. I am quite nervous =/

The funeral's next week.


School has finally finished! Woot! I handed in my coursework (teacher said I got an A) and sent off my application forms


Going Wes' this christmas. Confirmed it with Mum now. It'll be the first Christmas I have without my family. As I understand it Wes' family don't do much so it'll be a little hard I guess, but I'm not gonna change their day just because I want that so I'll be alright. I'll probably take a game up or something. Ask Mum to pick something up from work. She's already picked up a game for here, but I'm not gonna be here anyway =/

Probably not getting Monopoly though, I am quite notorious at that one. Not professional by any means but I made Dad bankrupt when i was 7 by buying all the greens and putting hotels on them


Work is just work I guess. I always seem to dread it coming but not mind actually being there o.o


And Mum is back, if you haven't guessed! She went to stay with Grandad on Monday and since she's been gone we've been fending for ourselves. Dad is not well known for cooking and neither am I. I lived off toast, cereal, pizza and pasta \m/

But yah. Bad start I guess. I'm just sick of being the odd-jobs-man at any voluntary work I do, and I'm sick of being the fall-guy at home. Is it hard to realise that it's due to their ignorance that the mistake happened, rather blaming it on me?

Also sick of being so bloody far away from only person on this planet who loves everything about me as I am, rather than what they want me to be. Yes, I'm not academic. Yes, I'm not good at housework. Yes, I can't cook. Yes, my room is a mess. It's how I am, stop trying to force me to be something else.

On a related note I hate how I am forced to see him less often than before, despite having a job now. The reason being work itself. Due to my hours being Wednesday and Saturday it makes visiting increadibly ockered on both ends. That said that's my only work-related nag.

Sick of seeing my friends so irregularly. I pretty much only have one local friend left, and I only see him every weekend or two. I guess I'm sick of people hurting him as well and I swear if one other person does it I'm gonna kick said bastard in the balls. Sick of seeing my other good friend so little as well, due to lol uni. Sick of missing out on uni this year, of being the only one left, as it were.

Sick of getting left out of nights out just because I'm t-total. Guess what? YOU CAN HAVE JUST AS GOOD OF A TIME, IF NOT BETTER WHILE SOBER. You know. Without risking getting attacked. I am also sick of people trying to persuade me to drink left right and centre. I don't like the taste of it and that's hard to change. It's not like I'm not drinking due to some political opinion or something.

School is annoying me in general, and I'm getting increasingly sick of home. I can't wait until I start uni proper, I'll board in the dorms or something. Independance!

I don't vent very often. I know a lot of my journals are rants but look how sparse they are!

What order should I do this in.

Well, last week I went around Wes'. It was awesome, imo. We mainly hung around, although we did go into Grimsby where we had a after eight milkshake (lovely but filling) and I failed at clothes shopping (the resulting top was a size too big and missing the belt it came with). Wes got the game he was waiting for in the post eventually. I played some bejewled. We had an online singathon with Nat only it was only really Wes singing (Nat doesn't have webcam/mic so she might have been, we just didn't hear her) although I sang very quietly once. Not by my own either. DON'T LIKE SINGING AT ALL.
The train was cancelled on Sunday so I stayed for an extra day. It was fine for me, because I don't have school anyway. But Wes was a bit =/ because he had school (he insists I call it college but bugger that). Still he went. We arranged to try and catch the 4:45 bus to the train station, although I think he got held up at some point. He ended up coming back knackered because he'd pelted it. That was sweet : o

101 Datmations (live action) was the first film I ever saw at the cinema : O The woman who played Cruella De'vil (sp?) was awesome at it. The cinema was cold and drafty so Mum and Amy didn't enjoy it as much as I did (Mum in fact fell asleep)

I watched PotC 1 after PotC 2 but before PotC 3. PotC 2 was with Nat and Bhav, PotC 1 was on TV and PotC 3 was the first film I watched with Wes

Still boring. I'm starting out my voluntary work at school tommorrow. I'll be a helper in a GCSE Art class once a week, which happens to be Tuesdays. My teacher asked if I wanted to help out in my sister's class but Amy has lessons at the same time I do (I change teachers so she can have the teacher I changed from), so it's not possible.

AHAHAHAHA I haven't got much of a social life. Been IMing Nat. She's coming down Friday for her birthday so I'm visiting her then.
Going Wes' on Saturday evening, I'll be nackered.
Um I went to the Machinima festival yesterday. I was late so I missed some of it. The last bit was awesome, this bloke made a video right in front of us. Coolios.

Yep, I am now employed. In Sainsburys \m/ I have introduction days on Thursday and Saturday, I'll tell you what it's actually like after then. I'll be at Wes' though.

I only got to school once last week. At first I missed the service bus, then I actually got to the lesson, and then the bus was involved in a freaking collision, then it was consultation day.

The crash? It wasn't too serious. This girl got concussion and a few people complained of whiplash but there was nothing worse than that. The bus was parked and people were getting on it when a small van rammed into the back of it. Our bus stop is on a sort of duel carrageway so it was asking for it. The curcumstances could have been a lot worse - lorrys and other buses frequent down that road, and also if anyone was standing in front of the bus when it jolted they could have been seriously hurt. So I guess we're lucky it was only as bad as it was.

-Social-
Other than the usual online-ness and IMing and phoning Wes, I haven't had much of a social life. As per usual. HOWEVER the other day Bhav IMed me and we had a chat. I haven't spoken to her in a while, it was cool. Also Nat's been emailing from one of her uni's social areas. She's got her laptop now but it isn't wired up to the net yet. She sounds like she's having a great time. I also met up with Callum last Sunday (not this Sunday though) and we played some Halo 3. Much to Wes' dispair later on (Wes is a bit of a Halo fanboy, lol) I found it boring to heck. We also went into town and got McFlurrys and stuff.

I've read two and a half books at school today, which I guess shows that although I don't read that often I'm pretty damn fierce at it. Not at reading out loud so much though D:

Um I've finished a sort-of-cross-hatch picture for Art today. It's a landscape. I didn't have a ruler so the lines were a bit messy and i broke the rules of crosshatching a little (sort of shaded o.o) but I guess that's the whole point of art. I love the result, as does one of my Art teachers. As it is the way of Art, the other teacher dislikes it. That happens like, all the time. But I guess you can't help people's tastes.

Um um um yeah nothing else happened really.

I don't think I'll ever go to uni, I'm sick of education and as much as I like the idea of book illustration or games design, realistically I can't see an illustration degree going anywhere. I'll probably go into full-time employment, if someone would employ me that is. It's kinda sad I guess, but something happened between GCSE and A-level and I've lost my affinity for academic subjects =/ All I'm left with really is Art, which is probably the hardest subject to make a living on =/

1) I have this ragged old cloth which i fiddle with my toes when I sleep
2) I dunno if this is common or not but Wes can't do it so~ I can move my big toe completely independantly from the rest of my toes, and I can cross the toe next to it over it. I guess I've got pretty mobile toes.
3) I'm desperate for the toilet right now. On that note the longest I've been without going to the loo (when concious, btw) is 14 hours.
4) In my generation of my family I am literally the middle child (three older three younger), one of the youngers being my sister. I haven't spoken to my oldest cousin like, ever, as the last time I met him I hadn't even learnt how to walk or talk yet c.c
5) I don't like having anything on my hands like rings or gloves (even though fingerless gloves are smexy), and prefer short sleeves to long regardless of the weather. Yet I like bracelets a lot. And I have long sleeved tops and such anyway c.c
6) When I was little I wore dresses and skirts like, all the time. Now I wear a t-shirt/blouse and jeans all the time, again regardless of the weather (I'm going to have to wear shorts on holiday next year or I'll probably end up in hospital with heat exhaustion c.c)
7) Probably the best week in my life was in August when I went to Wes' house, despite the increasing number of arguements Wes and his sister had!
8) My parents hate me being on the computer this late (in fact Mum's just nagged at me to turn the lappy off) and it's rare for me to be allowed on later than midnight on weekends and rare for me to be on later than eleven on school nights. They also hate me being on the comp for four hours or more, but I guess it does start getting unhealthy if you're on the comp daily for more than six hours at a time. But it's how I keep in contact with Wes and my online friends as it's hard to meed them irl that often. Monday
I didn't update at all this weekend D: kk summary times.

Saturday - Wes came down as I've said before. We hung around a lot as per usual then went to Meridian Leisure and hung around the arcades in the bowling alley. Um I had a go at the dance mat with Nat (it was Nat who invited us). We went on easy for the first two songs then intermediate on the third song and failed Wes went on his own on it (I said I'd go against him but I don't think he heard me) and was really good at it. You see me and Nat always tried to return our feet to the centre which was our downfall really. Nat invited a collegue from work and one of his friends, and she went on a lot of the stuff with them. Wes went on Time Crisis as well and did well, but he has that at home so no wonder really.
Dad was a cock and started watching Star Trek (one of his DVDs) at like, 11pm. Wes has to sleep on the living room sofa when he comes here as we have no spare room and Mum and Dad don't want us sharing a bed. At half elevenish I asked Mum, Dad and Amy if they could go somewhere else because we were knackered but Dad and Amy stayed up until at least half past midnight u.u I dunno

Sunday - Dad drove us into town (maybe he knew how annoyed we got with him on Saturday?), and Wes and I had the very healthy meal of McDonalds and McFlurry. Yay. Leicester had a Culture show going on. There were people waving mops around singing about dolphins, and rappers. Leicester's kickass when it comes to culture, it's got probably the best vibe of any city I've been to. Even if the singing was bizarre. I brought a game for my DS (Kirby Power Paintbrush). Mum ranted at me about jobs. Wes and me hung around a lot more. He had to go home again in the evening though Damn you school. DAMN YOU.

Monday - Well, it's only the morning atm, I haven't been up long. Played Phoenix Wright a bit. OBJECTION.

I'm not doing too well with updates this week am I. Oh well.

Tuesday - I quit ICT. I was getting poor grades, struggling with getting the hang of databases, finding the lessons mind-numbingly boring and the teachers were still poor. Oh well. Mum and Dad are furious but showing it in different ways. Mum shouted at me and told me I'm making a big mistake, but seemed to calm down when I went job hunting some more. She gets angrier again when I can't complete a application form for reasons such as rediculously hard to answer questions like "Describe a situation where you have worked as a team etc...". Dad's giving me the silent treatment. Yet again.

Amy didn't turn up on the bus and everyone got worried. Turned out she went home sick.

And back to Wednesday - Still searching for jobs. HMV annoyed me as experiance was "essential". It's shops like that which are the reason I can't get a job in the first place. I was suggested to go to a jobs centre. Might have to.

Didn't update yesterday, although things did happen.
I went on a job application spree, got rejected for a job by Currys and I need to get my bank account upgraded.

Today I've barely done anything, so there you go.

Yesterday, we got the news that two students from my school had died. They were in post-16. Their friend gave them a lift in his car and from what I heard hit a lorry...
So yah. Sombre few days at school. The lad who was driving is on bail now. One of the lads I know in Year 14 was talking about how it made him realise how precious friends are, and I agree =/

Wednesday 29th
I'm not feeling too well today. I'm bored, hungry and I feel a little sick. Mum didn't bother to get any of my pasta things while I was away so no food~ I think I'm bored because I've gotten used to being at Wes' house, where he was almost always there to hang around with. And I think the sick thing is because I'm missing him so much.

I've saved my photos from the camera onto the computer, and I'm playing the Snow Patrol CD I brought in Cleethorpes. It was only a fiver.

I'm going back to school tommorrow, which is very early in England terms. Although Leicester has always been pretty out of synch to the rest of England so~ That might also be a contributor to the sickness.

Man, feeling this down is uncharacteristic of me =/ I wasn't expecting to feel this bad.

Also Mum and my sister have rearranged my room. It actually looks better and now I actually have a desk I can work on. Before the desk had a TV on it.

I'm starting on a bad note today. Yesterday my Gran got admitted into hospital. She hasn't been very well mentally since around March. So... yeah. Made my mood yesterday worse!

In other news I started school today. There's a surprising amount of people going into Year 14. Just under 10 I think. I expected it to be like, two or something. They put us all in the same tutor group. Our tutor room is the cookery room, which is in design. That's great as it's literally a stone's throw away from my Art classroom. ftw.

I think I'll drop ICT though. I mean if I'm getting Us already there's not much point carrying it on is there. =/

And my mood? Better than yesterday as I had stuff to occupy myself with, but still not as good as usual

I'm at Wes' atm, hence the title. He's on his paper-round atm.

I love it around here. His house is big enough to allow us to just hang out together knowing that every single person in the house wouldn't be able to hear us. My house is pretty small and has thin walls because it's a new build, so everyone can hear everything. Sounds petty, I know. But it is so annoying when I'm confronted by my sister a week later asking me why we're so noisy

I had my A-level results, and you can probably tell by the fact I haven't told you earlier that I am not particularly chuffed with them. Did better than I thought in Chemistry, as I thought in Biology and worse than I thought in AS Art and AS ICT. =/ BCEE. Guess which grade goes where. I feel really bad when people talk about celebrating their results and getting presents from their parents. My parents always held the mentality of "Do good or else". And by good I mean B and up. Unless it's Art. Dad doesn't really consider Art a real subject, lol. He was not happy with my results. My Mum was more pleased but it's because of Mum and Nat that I suck with Chemistry anyway. So I guess I can't complain about her really. Also she works in an Art shop and loves crafting so~

It's GCSE results day tommorrow, I'm going with Wes to collect his. I think he'll do well, he's very academic. More than I am.
[EDIT] He did freaking amazing. I'll let him say the specifics as it's not my results, but I'll just say he got nothing lower than an A O_O

The weather hasn't been good enough to visit Cleethorpes as of late, so I haven't been able to buy Ash any rock (it's a hard rod of sugar for any Americans getting confused by the term) yet.

I'm having a good time here. This week was a test really of whether we could stick each other's company for an extended period of time, and so far we've had 0 arguements. Success. Yet I guess we're pretty similar in several ways. We laugh a lot, which is essential. I read once that boys find a sense of humour to be a turn on

OOH have I told you about the camera yet? No? Okay! I've brought a Canon Powershot which is a point-and-shoot type. Not like Callum's massive fancy one. It's lovely, it's quite wide and has this sort of lump on the right hand side which I can hold on to when taking photos. Really easy to hold, unlike these silly ultra-slim ones. 7Mp, 4x optical zoom and facial recognition. As long as the person is facing sort of in the direction of the camera, it detects their face, puts a little box around it (which moves around the screen if the person moves, following them) then focuses of the person. So their face is never out of focus. Unfortunatly it doesn't have anti-shake, but for £110 it's a bargain. I'm practicing holding the camera so my hands shake less so it isn't a problem. If you're wondering where I got hold of the money from, it's birthday money. I tend to wait until I see something I really like to spend it on, rather than lots of silly little things. After all, I only get just under £5 a week pocket money, which is almost always spent on rail fares ._.

This journal is quite long. And my topics are in no logical order.

But yah. We foraged for food yesterday, and I found some chicken things and chips. Neither of us had cooked it before, and they both needed different temperatures and times. Wes comprimised between the two and the result was lovely. Wes has found that he likes it when he cooks a good meal (as in the result, not the making) so I'm made o.- Nah not really, I'll have to learn to cook someday. I'll probably just pick up Mum and Dad's tendancy to have things very well done. F**k el dente pasta. Mine'll be soggy. I prefer soggy.

Firstly, last Saturday my Gran called Mum up in tears. She wasn't very well. We rushed up there and stayed the night, and she was pretty hostile to us. Complete personality change. We went home on Sunday. Mum stayed behind because Gran would talk to her. They went doctors and got some tablets. She's a little better now.

Meanwhile we got a pizza from pizza hut on the way home (it was easter sunday and we had no food at home to live off), then lived up until Wednesday on packet meals and pizza (pizza being the only thing Dad can cook). We went grocery shopping. Amy said I was controlling because I told her to check the use by dates =/ (she wouldn't check them herself!)

On Wednesday Mum came back with Gran and Grandad and my cousin Hayley, and they hung around for a bit before they went back home. Leaving Mum here that is.

Now we had actual meals to eat, Thursday had Wes come down to sleep for a couple of nights. We did the usual of laying around, me laughing really loudly and keeping people awake. Went Callum's on Friday, along with eating cruddy Aldi chicken burgers (mum was at work), then finally going out for a meal with Mum and Dad and Amy. We went to the pub before and got kicked out for being under 18. Despite the fact that it was a family pub/resteraunt. Wes said his fish was pretty good for something that was frozen. Because we're like, landlocked. Duh. Not everyone lives in fishing towns. Made me laugh anyway.

Then today (or yesterday by the time I've probably typed all this and submitted it all) Wes had to go home again. Bloody hell Dad was practically kicking him out I asked Mum and she said Dad would probably never like and boyfriends so it's not personal. On Tuesday he actually tried to cancel Wes coming, only I asked Mum already and she said yes, to Dad's annoyance. Oh well.
I was sad when he left though because I miss him. I can still feel where he hugged me. It's colder now.

Unfortunatly tommorrow (it is tommorrow now) we're back to school. Unfortunatly. I wish we had another week. Or year. Chemistry's really getting me down but it's too late to give up now. Just got to try and stick with it.

I love Leicester. I've never visited a city which is so compact and reasonably relaxed. For instance, when I go Nottingham I'm like, s***ing myself because it's terrifying. Derby is dull. Well. I went up Wes'. That's the real reason. His cat just sat on me while I was there.
I had fun. We hid from his sister. By like, locking the door and staying silent. It worked until I decided I was hungry and we left the safety of the room.

In Art we dossed around as per usual. Then we had assembly which everyone turned up to, because they thought they were getting results. The teachers lied! It was assembly then tutor than assembly again then results. How ockered.

Oddly enough, I always seem to be the most relaxed about getting exam results out of my friends.

I also got the worst grades.

I got low Cs in ICT and Biology. My Art doesn't have a January module so there are no results for that.
However, I got a U in Chemistry.

Yep, ungraded. Lowest catogory possible. A fail. And man, am I pissed off about it.

That in itself if fairly bad. I was a bit angry about it. Well. A lot. But I tried my best and I know I did.

In ICT, I got the full force of what everyone in the year below me got (I'm in Year 12 ICT despite being Year 13). One lad, for instance, got Us in everything but Chemistry. He's got a lot of retakes coming up. I got joint highest grade in ICT. The lad I am joint with got a solid C.

Then in Chemistry, my teacher started off by bringing the two sets together (there's about 30 in both classes, lol) and having a go at us. Apparently a lot of people got Es and Us. People did retakes and got worse grades than what they started with. I got the same grade as before with my retake. Waste of £12. But w/e. After a good five minutes of saying how pathetic it was I burst into tears.

A girl in my class took me out to calm down in the toilets. She had a worse mark than me, and told me she was annoyed at him for stirring like that. So yeah. After around five minutes talking, we went back in. My teacher told me that I had the highest mark in the Serious Concern pupils! (yayz?) Although he said I shouldn't take pride in that. I was only 10 marks off a grade. Which is bad. but w/e.

Biology was okay. We did presentations. One group sang "We Love Horses". Bio is cool. This girl was talking about Chemistry results and I told her I got a U, and she said that she had heard that I cried in the lesson. Woo, I must be popular for news to spread that quick!

I got home and moaning to John about everything, because I was worried about telling my dad about it.

Then when he came back I told him. He asked me what grade I got and I told him, U. As per usual again he ignored my two Cs. He then told me he'd talk to me later and walked off. He looked angry. I tried to explain that I tried my best but he said nothing. By now I was in tears again.
So I've been talking to Wes about it, who's wonderful about it all because he doesn't hold judgements like that. He's laid back about it all which I'm grateful for. But I was still kind of hysterical, despite his best efforts, although I wasn't as bad as before.
Then Mum came back so I told her about my grades and how Dad's angry at me. She told me that if I looked like I was working (even if I just have a book in front of me) then Dad wouldn't be so annoyed, because they think I don't do any work. I do loads of work at school =/ But I need to do more at home.

So I've finished my ICT notes, which I wouldn't usually do, I must admit. And now I'm waiting for the moment Dad comes back and demands why I got a U. Probably more tears, although Dad gets more angry when I start crying! Last year when I got an E in Chemistry he told me I was beating a dead horse and should give up, and when I went absolutely hysterical told me that I wasn't prepared for a civilised convosation. EXCUSE ME?!

[UPDATE] Well, as I turned off the computer and turned around and BAM, my Dad was staring at me. Spooked the daylights out of me. I swear. He asked me for the details, such as what things the test was in. Acid-Base and pH calculations, hydrocarbons, benzene, NMRS (is it that?) etc. In the end we ended up talking about how hard Chemistry is. Which is cool. All ended up alright on that term.

Well, other than the homework crisis from hell, I've had a good time as of late. Went to my Nana's last Tuesday until Thursday. TRAMS! I love Manchester. My Nana thinks I'm vegitarian. This is wrong, as the only fruit and veg I like are:

On Saturday Wes came down. Great time as always. He slept over and my parents were freaking out. We've got two sofas and he was going to sleep on one and me the other, but my dad was like "No. I am not comfortable with that" and spent like, a minute shaking his head and saying no before I was like w/e and went upstairs. Mum and Dad kept the door open so they could hear everything. And the next morning my mum asked me if I'd "done anything stupid". Funtiems! I was in my room with the door shut and he was downstairs in the living room with the door shut! What is it, teleportation.
Although I made this sort of inner discovery. It's when you're lying on your bed (we were waiting for dad to stop watching the bloody TV so Wes could go bed), and your boyfriend's nodding off on your arm because it's midnight, and he dribbles on your arm, when you realise you just don't give a toss. And it's then when you realise that all those crushes were pathetic and the person you've got now is all and everything you'll ever want. I didn't even wipe it off, but he ended up moving slightly and getting it on his face anyway.
My sister doesn't like him because she says he's creepy because he never talks. Guess what. I don't around other people's houses either! Amy didn't like that and she moved away. haha.

On Saturday I swallowed my first tablet whole. By literally shoving it down my throat. On Sunday that plan failed because it went down the wrong way but yesterday I used Nat's trick and it worked a treat. Thanks Nat!

Supernatural... love it.

Series 2 started yesterday here in the UK, and man. Amazing. If the rest of series 2 is as good as that one, then I'm buying the box set.
