At first the subject of this journal seems pretty absurd and ridiculous... "Who wouldn't want favoritings?" you may be asking yourself right now, and I have the answer for you: Fan clubs Admins. would!

I am the administrator of , which means it is I who submit fan arts/fanfics, and who edit them on photoshop to add the F "DO NOT FAV" warning that no one seems to notice or (I hope not) simple and disrespectfully ignores. Plus it is I who update the journals and keep in touch with the messages and stuff... Resuming it is I who take care of the club.

Sorry... I need to pour my heart to whoever wants to hear -read- me about this subject, well it's my journal anyway, that's aht it is for! I'm kinda having a hard time lately because some people seems not to notice the "do not fav" warning I put on the fan arts... I doubt they even know that not faving club submissions is a common rule to be followed here in DA... It's not an official rule, but DA users created it for their own sake (and for credit to the original owners sake too!)
Ok, I know I used to make them at the bottom of the fan art, so people obviously wouldn't notice it at first unless taking a good look on the pic... So I changed it today. It crosses completely the fan art, in design terms it is a more objective text ("don't favorite this club submission" to make it crystal clear why it mustn't be favorited), and it has a red outerline with transparent, black letters, to make itself visible..................

I BARELY POSTED A NEW FAN ART TODAY WITH THE NEWEST DESIGN AND SOMEONE OUT THE CLUB FAVORITED IT, WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!! I notified the person about this problem (like all the times I did before when not letting a message in their userpages); yes, I checked to see if the person talked english (he/she was from UK), however he/she receives LOTS of views and comments so only the GODS know when he/she will read my note and fav the original fan art...

Back there even some club members used to favorite the club submissions, but I did a journal there talking about the subject and this important rule; at least inside the club members this seems controlled now, and all the members seem to have read it.

Yet, the "credit to the original owner" is very delicate, so I always need to pay attention to whoever favorites the club submissions, and always say the very same thing over and over and over...

YESH!!! This monday and today were my last days of the fast photoshop course I was having, and we learned how to make gifs!! It's the very same base for making the so loved emoticons we see in DA, and I'll be doing them really soon! And OH my... One can't believe how EASY it is to manage the program (I learned with ImageReady, from Photoshop... My teacher said this feature was taken off after Cs3), it's very simple to use, but it takes quite some time and a good bunch of frames, but thanks to the emoticons' size, change their composition is much more easier and faster.

Of course, I'll need some help, for I don't know how to make emoticons from the zero, so I'll be thanking ~Wooded-Wolf from the start for he made a VERY lovely, simple and useful emoticon starter pack which he allows people to use freely , the only thing he asks is to give him credit for the pieces (I'll be recalling this fact in my artist's commentary). Personally I think the most useful ones are the v1.0 and v3.0, the first 'cuz it has the adjusted mouths and eyes for 3/4 view, and the third one 'cuz it has more and softer colors, plus some added things.

Despite the fact it's my first time, I'll be doing something rather elaborated, concerning the newest fan pairing I and decided to gather, Anits (mine) and Kernel (hers), K+A for short... They're soooo cute together...!

A week ago, I dreamed that a Tornado had reached my quarter, right near my ancient school which isn't not even 1km away from my house. I and my mother were in her car going through the street parallel to the school, and the Tornado was getting near, I could feel the strong wind, but no tornado yet. That's when the NIGHTMARE ended.


And now, not even 10 minutes ago, we had the news about a tornado: it didn't touch the ground for the umidity wasn't enough, but it happened on Moema's quarter.

...This quarter is NEAR MINE!!!!

Damn... The thing is getting worse. I know that events with tornados have been happening for quite some time but... Nothing so near.


I fear for my life, if something worse happens here, we wouldn't have the means to save ourselves; mostly part of the houses don't have even a single basement made only for occasions like that. Not even my house has, and it seems that people are so dumb to think that nothing worse is gonna happen, that not even our Government is thinking of doing something about that!!! NO ONE IS CONCERNED MUCH LESS CARES!!! GOSH I HATE THIS COUNTRY!!!!

Well, I'm mending what's useful to what's pleasing... I mean, hell yeah! I've been playing video games since I'm 2 years old, so do the drawing.

My parents said (with my argumentation to convince them so XD) that they'll give me a Wacon Intuos 3... What's a Intuos3? Nothing much, just THE BESTEST TABLET OF ALL!! GOSH USING PHOTOSHOP WILL BE THE EASIEST THING NOW!!! And let's face it, photoshop wasn't made to be managed with mouse, it can drive one's mind crazy.

I convinced them that since I'm going to work with photoshop A LOT when I enter the college, I'll have to use something that can help me to study and work in a easier way (I was also thinking about using an architec table too, those which has a glass surface which you can turn a light on, the inclination is perfect for drawing for not saying that turning 3D images to 2D using the old "copying upon the figure" also helps too, that gives you a better idea of how a 3D character should be in 2D).

Oh, yeah, and I went to Starbucks Coffe with my mother a while ago... Well, she said that the coffe wasn't that good because it lacked of sugar (she's used to brazilian coffe style XD, and I don't really drink it unless if it's with milk ), and I ordered a Vanilla "Frapuccino", it was a cold drink and it tasted really good , but too bad it was bad prepared for I could feel the small pieces of ice in my mouth still. I also ordered this made-just-in-time chocolate muffin with hazelnuts and... I always thought that there was no muffin that could surpass the american muffin to me, and this one was the first I tried in my whole life; DELICIOUS! Much better than those ones you buy on markets.

I always LOVED places like Starbucks: the ambience, the songs, the familiar feeling you have when you are in it, and the sofisticated yet simple drinks and food. They are places which facade says "here you can enter and spent a nice, relaxing evening" , I even could see people with notebooks there, but what I'd love to do in a place like this is spent the evening together with friends who love those kind of places too... *sigh* And sit on the couch , and keep chatting with them about various things.

That would be so good...

Well, it isn't exactly a scary image, but a depressing one. I was thinking on representing Vexx's feelings rather than make a gory one (maybe later, but that's not a promise).
Oh, I had this Vexx fan art I was doing a while ago, but I stopped at doing it, need to finish it .

I was thinking for quite some time, maybe Vexx's culture should have been based on the celtic one, there are lots of symbologic things related to celtic culture on the game that makes me think that, so it came to my mind: it would be great to make some features of Vexx's world with it. It matches perfectly! first: the nature and the celts walk together, their houses were made of things found in the nature and look! Vexx's kind live inside trees! And vexx's shirt edge, this "squared" shape was used much earlier by the celts than one can think.

so I was reading my "Buckland's complete book of witchcraft" book, by Raymond Buckland (a kind of guide for Wiccans, it helps you at making practical things, with images and stuff). The total of pages are 331, it has lots of things, from chiromancy to tarot, passing through astrology (the thing I know the most),and the way to make rituals. The part that I like the most is herbalism, giving you advices to how give someone a receipt and even the ways to make them, the medicines to be made are infusions, syrups, ointments, plasters and basic powders. Even the medicinal actions of each herb is listed. my I love those kind of things. I recommend it for those who are curious about magical things.

And finally, Resuki's Vexx fanfic is finished. I once more give her congratulations, for this was the first fanfiction she has completed.
I would like to know about the opinion of those who read it too till the final, so, if you are one of those people, please let me know what you thought of it. I'm curious ^^

Oh this little issue with the Death Note 13# volume. The binding they've made for it is the crappiest I've ever seen!
Not just mine, but all the 13# volumes of those who bought it are unbinding its sheets! It's a mess, there are too many sheets on that volume of Death Note, the worry of loosing some of them is HUGE! this is the most important volume of the series because it's a compilation of everything from the manga, from the characters profiles to chronologic happenings.

Next week we'll start the preparations for the Cultural fair my school does every year, the good part of it is that you can loose almost a whole week of classes! At least some rest, for this year we haven't as much leisures as the others.

A friend of mine gave me back some books I've borrowed to him. Ok, till there there's nothing special, but I didn't realized till he gave me them back I've borrowed so many. Well, sue me, I don't know why but my memory starts to fail when there's something concerning my manga course!
And everytime I go or come back from it, I forget something! It's REALLY strange because my other days this doesn't happen. I mean it!

Scary...

If someone who loves Vexx as I could help me I would be very grateful, just give me some ideas of things I could put on her dress, but just one thing I'll let permanent on it: A neckline. Yes, those who had read her profile know that she likes to use necklines, oh, and loves acessories and butterflies too.

I'd like to make an homage here, this one is for... !

Resuki has been writting a Vexx fanfic on fanfiction.net, and, what can I say? This is the bestest fanfiction I've ever read in my whole life as a fanfiction reader! I don't say that because it's Vexx:

It's the way she writes.

The way she details things, the words she uses to describe moments and gestures and the way explicites all of the thoughts and feelings of the characters it's so intense that makes you feel like if you were inside the their's minds, inside their hearts, and like if you were witnessing everything, I can tell for I cried at chapter 14 and got really frightened at chapter 15, how many fanfictions can make you get so emotional like that? I certainly never did before in any fanfiction!
And not just that, her writting really resembles those from people of her age which, I don't think it's a bad thing, on contrary, in fanfiction terms it helps her to give more reality to the story, a very rare thing to be found on most part of fanfictions. She makes the story flows and unfolds so smoothly that don't make certain occasions ocurred during the story seems "nonsense" or/and out of context.

Those Vexx fans who didn't read her fanfiction yet are loosing one of the most well-written Vexx fanfictions wrote since then. Of course, there were other Vexx fanfictions whose would have beem a great sequel to the game, but stopped in the middle, not the case of resuki's story.

A really professional writter.

Resuki, I sure can tell that I'm more than happy to read your fanfiction, and I'm sure those who read it as well would say the same to you. You have great potential, and those who say the contrary are insane!

Some of you should know that there was another Vexx club here on DA (neither mine nor her authory), but for some unexplained reason it stopped its movement, and got abandonned.

With this fan club we're trying to reunite all Vexx fans exitents here in DA, even those we don't know. If you are interested, just pass by and join the club, there are people joined there already .

If this problem is happening to someone else please send me a message, I want to know if this is Da's problem or is something wrong with my PC.

Has someone noticed that my most recent drawings (except for "peach girl style") are a little more "defectuous" than the first ones? is that they're the first images I made on my course, but as the time passed, I improved my skills, and learned that you haven't to do a perfect copy of the images that they give to you to draw, but you have to fix them, that's the way you learn to draw well and inside the padron of "good manga"

I have this urgent comunication, the story is simple: I made an order on DOD, the BJD's seller site, and made an order of 3 things: a model called Homme Ducan, a dress (which's now out of stock) and a wig (out of stock as well), and I tried to chose the credit card payment, but the system of the site said: "you can't do a credit card payment at the moment". Ok, then I choosed the paypal option, but the problem is...

I'm new at using paypal and I don't know how to do a payment so well, when my father tried to pay DOD with it, the system from paypal says: "you can't do a credit card payment at this time"!!

If someone knows what's happening, please, contact me, and those who know me, if you know someone whose use paypal, please see if they can give you some information!! I have just 3 more days to pay, or else they'll cancel my order, and I'll lose the dress and wig I waited to be restocked since 4 YEARS!!!

2. I love celtic culture! as I was learning about it, I noticed that some things from celtic culture just matches with Vexx's culture (the Astaran culture, not Astani);

By the way, this last days were very busy (if not funny when I was with my friends)...
Now I'm in the exams' season, so I'll be studying like hell, I did program some particular classes already...

I know that I didn't post some drawings a long time ago, but I still have to tell (again) my father to connect this scanner with my computer, because some of my drawings just don't fit in my cellphone's framing for me to take a picture of 'em, them pass 'em to the PC...

But some of my days since I updated my journal for the last time were very pleasant when I was with my friends from manga school...

one of those days we bought some snacks from the local market for we to eat during the break between the manga class and the japanese class (yes, after the manga class, the students whose payed for the japanese class can do it after the manga class, I hope I made myself clear here ). So, when we arrived we discovered that we couldn't eat inside the classroom anymore...
Guess what we have done?
We made a pic-nic in front of the school's door! we sat on the sidewalk and had our snacks there, and when some car just passed on the street (it was a strait street) we kept beckoning to it and yelling "YAAAAY", some of the drivers and passengers beckoned back XD.
it isn't always that you can do this kind of thing, so it's for that reason I think it's funny ^^.

So I was reading some Vexx fanfics ultimately... How sad I get when I see such few fanfics of it... everytine I see a new one, I keep wary to see some new updates of it, even if I'm not sure if will continue or it will get incomplete (as lots of Vexx fanfics i've ever seen). it is a daily routine already:

see if there are new messages, journal updates or new subscriptions in DA from my friends, and see if there are new Vexx fanarts in the search page;
see my youtube account to see if I received some message, and see if someone commented something about my videos;
watch Fanfiction.net to see if there are new Vexx fanfictions in it, if is that so, I put the author on my favorites and author alert to receive messages on my msn to keep following.

is that... there are so few things about Vexx in the internet that is easy to follow... and after all he's my favorite game character, so I keep supporting those who write or draw something about him
, not just because I like him, but because I think he deserves much more fame and attetion than he already has... Now we all Vexx fans know that if it wasn't for ACCLAIM's going under, we would be able to enjoy a "Vexx 2" now...
its a proof that he is famous somehow, because if he wasn't, they would never be thinking in doing a sequel, that's for sure!

I hope that in the future would be much more Vexx drawings in DA and more fanfictions (preferentially complete) in fanfiction.net, of course I saw some Vexx fanfictions here too and in some other corners of net... ^^
I just hope they could be complete in a day not so far...

But I still have hope that Throwback Entertainment one day will use the ideas from MANu1 and other people who made part of first Vexx game designers' crew, such as Alexander Omlansky and Gregg Hargrove, 'cause I believe if they want to make the second Vexx with its style loyal to the earlier one they'll must to do that. if don't, both games will look very different from another in its aspect...

I don't know how the "rights procedure" upon game-related things works, such as some designers styles (I mean if some company can make use of some designer style from another company, even if its bankrupted, to make a game).

the Acclaim issue was such a delicated situation, most of their game rights' had been bought by another company, so I don't know if Throwback could call Vexx designers crew to make a sequel with a style loyal to the first one... coming from another crew, it won't be the same...

I still have the hope that this could happen: Throwback calling for Vexx designers' crew just for awhile to make a sequel for it.

Manny Carrasco, one of the designers of the game has created an account here in DA, and he posted not one, but TWO sketches of his autory which reveals that Vexx will have a sequel!!

oooooooh...

I don't know when will be released, I don't know how will be the story of this one, and manny probably can't answer that to us because he would break an important rule, so PLEASE DON'T ASK HIM, but all I can say it's:

OUR WISHES HAD COME TRUE, VEXX FANS!!!!!

Oh my... when I saw them for the first time, I got so emotionated that I almost cried... I always wanted to see Vexx to ascend in the games' market, to see him in action again, to be recognized and show us all his potential as a game character, and now this is turning into reality.

one more thing to say: thank you manny, you gave us previously the hope that we ever wanted

The puppies (yes, puppies, we have 3 puppies o labrador with us ^^) are giving too much trouble to us, so one of my parents (my mother or my father) have to stay at home while the other two go somewhere.

I can tell that just had few happenings, but the things that happened let me very happy, like win early my birthday present * v *, a Nintendo Wii, with the "Super Paper Mario" game for free 'cause it was the inauguration of the shop. Later (not so later, hehe...) my mother bought to me the "Rayman Raving Rabbids" and "Sonic and
The Secret Rings" games... But what I have to pass before I had the R3 (rayman raving blah blah blah) was crazy: initially the shop was offering "Mario Party 8" like the "for free game", so I asked for the guy who attended us (me and my father) to know if could trade for another one, he said "yes" so I accepted to trade for, guess what? R3.
The guy shown me the R3 for play 2, but I said that I wanted the game for Wii, thinking that he heared me 'cause the shop was full of FIFA gamers (tha shop was making a competition to celebrate the inauguration). So when we arrived home, obviously I opened my new present ^^...
But what I saw was really sad: the game inside the package of the console was the R3 for play 2!!! I phoned the shop, they said that they haven't R3 ( T - T ), I asked if I could trade again, the guy said that I could if the seal wasn't broken, he said too that it couldn't be traded for mario party 8, it had to be another game: super paper mario (that I think it was much better * v * ).

And I'm still without the scanner for submit my drawings _ _'... My father said that he'll make a conexion between my computer, the scanner/printer thing and his notebook, so we can both use the scanner... And I don't think this will be so soon, because he said this to me 3 weeks ago... O.o Well, life continues (and my no submits too T - T)

Well, it's a Vexx fanart, I used a model from a Vexx's game scene, where he can be seen just like I drawed... What pasmed me was the fact that, just looking at the paused scene (I took it from a tape with de game scenes that I recorded), I did make it proporcionally, thing that rarely happen to me, and it has almost 3 YEARS THAT I DON'T DRAW USING SOME EXAMPLE!

I mean... how much time has passed since I made this for the last time? I had to have adcquired some experience with all the drawings that I've made since then...

At least, I still have other 2 drawings to submit, these very, very old, I made then when I was in 7th grade, still.
