Anyways, some nice things have happened. After watching the man outside of the Wayfarer's Whimsey at the Bristol Ren Faire for several years as he constantly felted something new, cute, and adorable each time I saw him, I finally broke down and bought my own felting supplies. What shall I do with them now? Well, I had so much fun felting the Blurr kitty that is now shown in my gallery, that I'm willing to take commissions for just about anything. Prices can vary depending on the time and amount of materials that are used, though I'm more concerned with covering the cost of materials than my time(all the supplies used to make the Blurr kitty cost about $40-$50, ball-park range).

I'm sure that, if there is any interest, there will be questions. Let's see if I can answer some of them now.

What are the prices?

I'll do heads and small, simple(that being the key word) figures and such for $20-$30. Slightly larger and more detailed will be $30-$50. Items such as the Blurr kitty can go from $80 and up, depending on complexity and size. I will find a way to include shipping in the price, so these are subject to change.

What are you willing to do?

Just about anything. Please keep in mind: small things cannot be extremely complex. Just look at the Blurr kitty. The Elite Guard symbol on his chest is very simplified, and that's on a 10" doll! If you want the detail, you'll have to go bigger.

Wait, aren't you leaving for the military? What happens then?

Yes, I am leaving for military training during the afternoon of November 3rd. I will not be able to take any of my supplies with me to training, or be able to work on anything. There will be a two week leave during Christmas and New Year's, where I will work on any commissions still remaining. As for the time in AIT and DLI, I will have to ask the instructors about bringing the necessary supplies, as the felting needles are extremely sharp, and they might be iffy about them.

Commissions are worked on in a first-come, first-served basis, and I will do as many as possible before I leave.

On the flip side, I lost my wallet...and everything in it...right after seeing the Transformers movie. *sighs* Oh well....I've got my driver's license back, and my new debit cards are on their way.

With regards to Breaking Insanity, Imaginary and I are hard at work brainstorming the major events, as well as details pertaining to the world everything takes place in. With that, there comes some kinda good news, and some kinda bad news. Bad news: I won't have a computer of any sort during basic, and will therefore be unable to color the comic pages. Good news: I can have a computer after the first two weeks of AIT(Advanced Individual Training), and during DLI(Defense Language Institute, if I make it that far). Well....at least it's good news for us....and any possible comic followers we might have at this point.

As a general update, this month is going to be a fun-filled month of waiting. Both the AP German test and ACen are in a month, and this Thursday night I'm going down to the Chicago MEPS center in an attempt to finalize everything with the US military, this time with the Army Reserves, since the Guard didn't want me. Oh well, better late than never. There's also the waiting for graduation, but that carries into next month as well...*sigh* (Edit 4/13: MEPS was closed due to Good Friday, so I'm going down there this upcoming Friday after school)

The second part of this update is to announce that my friend, , and myself are fine-tuning our plans to create a comic together. Hopefully, the comic will start coming out in about 6-12 months (Imaginary, hit me if I'm wrong on this), if not longer. Until that time, we will be doing teasers of the comic, such as icons (can't wait to play with those!), pictures of the charries, and the opening of the comic. For now, both of us will have quotes we have selected from the two main characters, an awesome secondary character, exchanges, and some random characters. They are the same in each journal, but we might be saying different things. Go check out 's journal and see what she has to say. (Seriously, Imaginary. Smack me if there are things you don't want me saying, and tell me what they are.)

Though my school workload has been light, track and FST have been taking up a decent chunk of my after-school time. I'll do my best to get done what I can get done.

And for any of you who might be wondering, no, I am still not in the National Guard. The waver I sent for my allergy shots was denied. We don't know why exactly, but I have to wait about 3 more months before I can go back down to MEPS and try again. That's about it for now.

For any other people out there who still need to get their wisdom teeth removed, go through with it unless the oral surgen says that it is too dangerous. I was supposed to be under a deep introvenous (sp?) sedation, but because my vocal cords were swollen they couldn't do the deep sedation. It was obvious that I was catching the cold, and my only options were to either reschedual, or go witrh the light sedation. I went with the light, and now all that's left of my cold is in my vocal cords (stil) and my nose. Trust me, it's worth it. They give you antibiotics, so that reall helps fight the cold.

And my brains are fried as well. Second semester has started, and I'm in three honors classes: German III, Chemistry, and Pre Calculus. I don't want to see any more math or science until college. That's all I have to say. I hate math. So if I'm starting something and it takes me forever to finish, I'm probably having a mental breakdown or something.

Finally, Acen. I don't know if anyone else here, besides IAmImmaginary, is going, but I'm planning on loosing my mind with my costumes. Five costumes, three days. Let's hope everything is plastic wrapped in case of blood splatter.
