Finally after months of stress, lawyers, money and time...I'm finally moved in to my new apartment in Seattle. For those who don't know, my last apartment was found to be uninhabitable because of mold and making my roommates and I sick. We were able to break the lease, but it took about a month to find a place and get ready for our move.

I've been living with my parents for a month, commuting a very long way to work while having very intense deadlines for said work. Suddenly life has become incredibly busy!

CHristmas is always a big holiday during the year, since my mom's birthday is on Christmas Eve, and we spend a lot of time with family. So far it's been fun!
I got a lot of things that I wanted (DS OMGYESSS)and was able to spend more time with my family than I usually do.
Sadly, Christmas has had a sad air to it since my grandfather isn't here. He suffered a stroke last night (Christmas night), he's doing alright, but is spending the holiday in the hospital. :(

You'd think I'd like it. I mean, I get a whole 4 months of school off, I get to teach 3D animation, and it's been surprisingly sunny for Washington state. But living in Washington, things are different. We really don't have a soak-in-the-sun by the pool/beach culture here. The Pacific Northwest is known for it's extremely rainy weather. We don't top the most rain, but there is a constant drizzle during fall and winter. And people in Washington grow to love it. People from out of state usually commit suicide.
