Blue theme for deviantART for Stylish

Guys, if you are using Firefox and would like to change the default colors of deviantART to blue ones, you can download and install DeviantART v6.2 > Streetlight Blue style for Stylish. It's nice, it's recently updated and I think it is very nice!

I have not submitted anything recently, because I am too busy to finish our new apartment. Soon, I hope, it will be ready and if I am lucky, I'll be a proud owner of one of the best lenses available - Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8. Wish me luck! Which standalone photogallery?

Heya!

I am sure that there are lot of different galleries for you own photography. But I still cannot find "the best" one. Currently I am using gallery based on Pixelpost, I found a nice theme recently, but - still - I don't think that this is the one for me. So, please, share with me your own galleries, give me links so I can check them out, etc.

I am looking for something with sleek, still minimalistic design; it would be find if it's possible to install different themes or even create my own. It is a must to have a nice statistics and a good back-end.

What if I don't use any layouts? Although there are few very nice. I want things simple.

P.S. I want to change something. I need to change something.
P.P.S. There is a great possibility that I will change the design again very soon. Especially if I can't change something else.

Very strange, I've just uploaded a photo, had the link, even send it to some people, but it is not shown in my gallery. I'll wait for some time and if this continues, I'll try to re-upload it. Anyone with same problems?

One day in the studio with Teodora

Yesterday I had a wonderful Teodora as model. A friend of mine allow me to use his studio and I am very glad that there are more than five good pictures. In few days I am going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen on a ski-competition. I hope that I'll be able to take my photo equipment with me. Wish me luck!

Second chance

Well, well.. I've decided to give DA second chance. Why? - I don't know. It is not because there are not any other similar places. Probably, it is because I am on DA since the very beginning of this site. Habit, sentiment.. I don't know. Still, I'm not sure that I will upload more of my works here, but, anyway, I have prepaid one year. It is very hard to browse without submission. Currently, I have 1,355 deviations to see. I am very busy lately, but I will try to find few free hours to check them all.

So.. I am back. For good or bad - we'll see.

I must create new ID, any ideas?..

I've just deleted all my works in gallery/scraps. Thanks for all the comments and favs. Thanks to my watchers, my readers, people who comment my works. Thanks for support, ideas and critiques I've received in last few years. While deleting, I've saw many things I have forgot. Before 2-3-4 years, I found them great. Now.. they are scrap, of course. But I can follow my "evolution" as an artists. If you wonder why I have deleted everything (except one photograph), you can read this journal. Because some people asked me if this is my wife on the picture you can find in my gallery - no! - my wife has better.. forms.

I'll be around!

deviantArt - you hurt me, because..

..few of my deviations have been deleted, although they were from an open-for-photographers show and in right category
..some people in the Help Desk (or some other support) respond only to say "No!" or "Can't!", and never asking "Why?" or hear you when explain
.."Remove all" button in Community Messages is still doesn't working, and for me, it's really big problem! I don't have enough time for clickin' around.
.. few more bugs in the code I won't mark, because I can't see the point - they're from so many months and I don't believe that a writing in a user journal will make you hurry in fixing them

Honestly, I'm hurt. I even don't know why I paid again for subscription. Maybe only to keep the CSS option for journals, (which is still beta, by the way..). I'm thinking about leaving DA, yes. After so many years (because I'm here from the very beggining, but started with different user), maybe it's time to find something better. Personal site, maybe. I'll keep my registration only because of the people here. There are some great artists I would like to keep up with. I'm not sure yet if I'll upload something new. I don't want to have other deleted works.

It's very strange.. I've been asked for "model release form", although "my models" were a famous porn-stars. Of course, as I said before, I've took the pictures from an open-fest in Bulgaria, where everyone who wants, can take pictures and use them. You can guess that it's not possible for me to give such release. Those girls are pornstars, yes. But the images I've shown here, were far, far away from pornography. But they're not in my gallery anymore. They're deleted. Forbidden. Forgotten. Whatever! Now you can delete all from my gallery and scraps. I really don't care now. Just.. when you want to follow some principles, follow them to the end.

Now, just something to think about (18+):

So, guys from DA, (I'm sorry, authors of these images), but if you see "art" here, I'll sell my cameras, lenses and computer, and I'll go to live in the wood. And these few pieces are very small part of all the pornography I can find in DA. You don't want to tell me that all of the authors can give you a model release form, do you? And even with such form, I don't think that suchlike.. things are in category "art".

Dear readers, I am very sorry for the thumbnails. (Not registered users can't see images, because they're are marked as "mature content" and you need registration (not subscription) for it.)

And you know what? I'm not mad, or pissed off, or angry, or something like that. I'm just hurt. Bye!
