Unfortunately, I've been very sick this past week and was unable to do much today :c Or the past few days at that. Time to give you some much-needed updates methinks. First off school fall quarter has started again, I'm enrolled in character animation, portfolio production, and dynamics & simulation classes. My final portfolio project is the focus since I'll be graduating in March 2013. Whew, getting rather close now. Lake Powell: I recently returned from a timeshare houseboat vacation to Lake Powell, UT- my favorite place on earth. I took well over 2,000 photos and upload 15 or so to Facebook once I sort them all out. You should know this by now, but my friends and I are taking a big road trip down to Dallas, Texas for A-kon: the longest-running anime convention in the United States. It'll be my 4th year attending now and it's quite a drive from Colorado... so we'll be leaving around midnight this Thursday (June 9th). After that, you won't see me on DA till we return some time Monday (June 13).

Januray 12th is my birthday. For my 21st year of living, instead of going out drinking and partying my face off like most people, I decided to flip the numbers around and have a 12-year-old birthday party instead... at Laser Quest! :dummy: So we just shot the heck out of each other with lasers. 1st game I got second place, 2nd game I got first place and top five for the day! It was a blast

All the classes are everything I hoped they would be :heart: I'm currently planning out my script for Theod's story in Pre-Production class (my final portfolio project basically), learning Autodesk Maya's animation software that I just bought a book for helping me learn some extra tips and get to animate some bouncing balls for 3D Animation class.

For Prothetics/Makeup FX class I volunteered to be the victim for the lifecasting demo next week... and I got a little sample on my arm of this AMAZING stuff: platinum silicone, and Ani's gonna take pictures for you guys!

The Art Institute is a year-round school so we end up not having to take as many years to graduate. Unfortunately this means I'm back in class again. And thus the start of summer break week 2 begins. They had me working 4 days straight at Jo~Ann this week due to our Grand Opening and the many sales that went along with it... so I haven't had much free time at all. And all the time earlier in the week was taken up by grandparents visiting and spending time back home with the family. But I've got a 3 day break from work now so I'll be jumping on some of my long forgotten responsibilities around here.

But among other things, I've been promoted to Ninja Llama status much quicker than I anticipated. So thanks to all you for making that happen!

You would not believe the torment I put myself through stressing over finals week. Thanks to my first day working at Jo~Ann Fabric and Crafts (which was a lot of fun really) I have now completely F*CKED up my schedule even more. Who knew it was possible to get it this bad?
