Seriously, I failed trying to get on the MARTA. Whid had to show me how to scan my ticket to get the gate to open}

So, I went to ATL yesterday! YAY! It's Whid's 20th birthday today, so we celebrated a day early (by making him take me to Atlanta and paying for everything ^^) We went to the World of Coke. For those of you who will ask, it's basically a big Coca-Cola museum with a whole bunch of stuff to do :3 We even attempted to drink all 59 or so flavors in the Tasting Room. Ok, to elaborate: there's a section of the Coke World where you can sample Coke products from around the world. The most common talked about is Beverly. In case you ever go there (or to another Coke museum) and don't wish to feel like a noob, allow me to explain. Beverly is a carbonated drink made in Italy. Despite what ANYONE tries to get you to believe, Beverly is a god-awful drink that has no flavor and an aftertaste of cough medicine. IT SUCKS. But you still need to try it beccause it's like a rite of passage there That, and watching the unsuspecting drink full glasses of it

After our little trip to Cokeland, we got lost. No seriously, we had no clue where to go. But we did see an IKEA homestore and Norcostco 8D Norcostco is a costume company in ATL where Mr. Strickland rents most of our clothes for plays and musicals. And IKEA is.... Swedish. So yay Then we rode the MARTA for no reason in particular Then we went home. Fun fun fun!

OH MAN! Does anyone remember Miguzi? That weird mid-day show with the fish people and Erin, and they'd show stuff like Code Lyoko? WOW 8O I haven't thought about that in a long time.... That, and the original Toonami. Not this Bakugan and Naruto stuff, but old things like Dragon Ball/Z/GT, Big O, Megas XLR, and that one racing show (whose name escapes me. It had a character named Takashi, I know ) Ah, good times

Anyway, my tablet lost it's will to live the other day But my loving father ordered me a new one without me so much as asking I love my dad! It'll be here on Monday (hoepfully), so no arts until then :C

Also, I've realized that this part of my life is just a small portion of the big picture. I need to stop acting like everything's over after the teen years ^^ So I'm going to move on after I graduate. There are too many people IRL that I don't want to see anymore, too many that I've lost to whatever reason. Don't worry, I'm not saying goodbye to any of my DA friends I've just had it with my real-life ones. I can't wait to make a new start in college!

EDIT: Speaking of Nostalgia, I found a bunch of old fanfics, mostly HP, that I wrote about 3-4 years ago. YES, they are still available to read on the website I wrote them on. NO, I will not disclose that information to you (unless you're really curious, then note me ;D)

Sorry for whining last night, I ended up watching tv for a while and it made me forget my fears ^^ Thank you all for your kind words.

Also, I'm feeling bummed out (not really) about the past. I found myself wanting to just chill out and listen to KISS, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones - and I barely know who any of those bands are! XD It's funny how I miss the old days and I wasn't even there. It just seems like a better time, way back then. I guess I'll have to ask my parents or something ^^ But I have to remind myself that I'm not even halfway there to actually feeling Nostalgia. Just think, years from now, my kids will want to know what life was like "back in the day" (which was a Wednesday) and I can just pull out my ancient beat-up iPod and give them a personal flashback Then and only then will I be able to relive the glory days of Amanda Palmer, Regina Spektor and Ludo. And who knows? Maybe one day, my chirrens will find one of my old CD and do some researching of their own.

For requests/art trades:
Please specify WHO or WHAT you'd like me to draw. It's also useful to know poses, clothes, and whether or not you'd like it colored.
I can draw a number of things including humans, chibis, OCs, actual people, wolves, dogs, cats, lions, deer.
With the coloring, I can do simple coloring (no shading) or coloring and shading. If there's a particular background design, please let me know or I will pick the background.
For collabs:
Please specify who or what you'd like drawn and which of us will be doing the lineart/coloring. I'm very flexible both ways, so it doesn't matter to me which one you'd rather do.
It takes me a while do finish the requests, depending on how busy I am.
I finish my requests in no particular order. Just because you're first on the list does not mean I'll post your request first.

They are much fun!

Yesterday, we bought a new grill. So my dad sent me to the crawlspace under our house to turn off the gas pipe. Except I had to stay put until they got the grill hooked up so I could turn it back on. My mom almost had a cow when she realized I was under her feet X3 It wasn't all too scary though (I had a flashlight and a stick to wave around incase of spider webs) I felt quite professional! I stayed under the house alone for 17 minutes ^^
