Okay, I have a favor to ask of all of my watchers. ;]

'Specially those who do digital art.

A friend of mine is looking for a talented artist to design a logo for him for a t-shirt design. He's gotten really into Steampunk and Clockwork, and right now, he wants a t-shirt to display his new interest.

He wants the T-shirt to say Steam Works; and he would like to have the word "Steam" constructed of different steam mechanics. Brass pipes, etc. And he would like the have the word "Works" constructed completely out of gears.

Because he is my friend, I am willing to do an art swap or an art collaboration with anyone interested, and you can add your signature to the logo. You will be recognized.

If you're interested and would like to do an art swap, I am a photographer. You can give me a subject, and I can try to make it happen. I can personalize it for you, incorporate your username somehow. Anything is open.

I go to Windy Gap, my fall retreat in three days.

I am depressed, and yet I am horribly excited.

After this trip, I will never go to Windy Gap again.

Last year was okay; I took it for granted.

Here, I have laughed, lusted, and bonded over many a person.

I have created friendships and lost friendships as well.

This is my transition into the fall.

Summer has officially started for me, and it will be a challenge, but extremely rewarding at the end. I'm promised a lot of people that I will stick by my plan, and I intend on doing it, because in the past, I didn't promise anyone.. so... I gave up. XP


Thank you all for the helpful tips and encouragement from Salad and Water; I learned a lot of things I didn't know, and I plan to use this new knowledge.

I'm going to do a mix of cardio, toning, and yoga (because I like to keep it flexible). :wink:

I plan on looking different, acting different, becoming more cultured, better skin, better hair, and improving my work ethic.

College is just around the corner, and I plan to attend UNCW. I meet all of these requirements, and it's a nice, huge public school.

I will be studying abroad in many places for practically nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to tuition, and my photo editing system and new c a n o n camera will be coming with me.

Camera phones just aren't working for me.

Germany this new years. :]

Expect something grand.

Today, I went to the sanrio store with my mom, became starry eyed (*0*) and wanted to buy everything, but I only ended up with a small, sailor HK pen and an HK pad shaped like HK's head.

Then Hello Kitty herself walked out, and I was so excited that I ran out and hugged Hello Kitty. I tried to get a pic, but Concord Mills is too dark so I sulked and ran away, got my prom dress, and wahbam.

I played pokemon sapphire for about three hours as I prepare for Pokemon Pearl, and now I am here, talking to someone who is telling me that I suck, but furbies are cool.

Lt. and I are probably the only ones that live here that actually appreciate what Gastonia has to offer. It may seem like a huge wasteland to some people, but actually Gastonia is home to a lot of real people. People that don't take shit from others, and refuse to take life and what we have for granted.

Focus on what you have, not what you don't. We'd all smile just a little bit more. Everyone says Gastonia is dirty and stupid, but Gastonia has flowers too and rolling green hills, and multi-colored june bugs, and spicy summers and cold, sad winters.

We have whimisical dandelions and mica covered rocks.

But we also have trash, weeds, a harsh ghetto, and hobos, just like every other country in the world.

Get cultured people. Open your eyes a little bit. Your tiny patch of land is not Planet Earth.

I was having withdrawals, but now after two hours of cursing my internet service provider, the 'net has returned to me.

I could explode with happiness, but then I would not be able to go to the mall in the next hour. I have to be careful of these things.

The Lieutenant and I need to schedule another photoshoot. The next one, I hope is more interesting and conceptual. After browsing many amazing photographers on DeviantART, I have come to the painful realization that my art is mediocre. I've always wanted to do concepts, but in the end, I simply do still life and plain portraits.

I need tips for conceptual art. :] If you give me any idea, and I use it, you will get full credit.

Today, as Lt. and I walked back from eating Japanese at Nara, a sexy rusted sign that said, "Lingerfeldt Elementary School" caught my eye.

I then suddenly pictured a model, wearing an unusually childish dress with childish drawings across their face, such as a house or a handprint sun, posing in front of the sign with a monotone expression among a pool of daffodils.

The main color theme would be yellow, I'm guessing.

I need my Macbook; I need a better editing system. My current one blows.

So, in the future you may be seeing this idea fullfilled. If the Lt. and I don't forget. Remind us; oh, and tell me what you think.

Any suggestions?

We're going to a cafe to play the game Apples to Apples. I've never played it, and because I don't want to look like an idiot, I thank God for the internet and apples to apples instruction guides. We also might play monopoly and go shopping. It should be really fun.

I can't wait to get out of this house. The week is agonizing for me. I feel so free on the weekends. I can't wait for Easter. Lt. Sexyface and I have cute and fun treats for our friends. But they don't know that yet. :]

Saturday, Lt. and I had a classy little tea party with Morgan, and we went on a walk saw a man praying praying under a huge statue of Jesus. If only we had a camera.

Sunday, I worked on my book, and I found a nice quote.

He was amazing; I wish that I could somehow harness his skill as a guitarist, but I'm more art-oriented, even though I think music is its own form of art.

This was his first public appearance as a musician, and he was surrounded by friends and people that loved him. His mom came, and his other musically-gifted friends played the drums and guitar next to him. I'm sure his mom is very proud.

Then The Steven Bowersville band played, with only a few members. They had just come in from Nashville, Tennesee, and they gave the GCS crowd a sneak preview of the next day, which was when they were going to gift their actually concert.

Last night, they played funny songs on acoustic guitars like, "Sexy Back" and "Girlfriend" and a song from NSYNC.

The lead guitarist went to GCS two years ago, and has since then carried out his dream, getting signed on Nashville, one of the music capitals of the world.

After the cafe, I went back to Lt's house and we danced to all kinds of music in a very ugly way, then went to McDonald's and got Happy Meals.

Friday was amazing.

So, I went to the doctor instead to get this cough that I've had for two weeks checked out. He gave me some pills, and told me that I couldn't eat until seven or my stomach would explode or something along those lines.

So, I'm sitting at home, waiting for seven because I stupidly skipped breakfast. Later on tonight, I am going to Panera. Hopefully, I can sweeten my way into getting free food from the dude in blue at the register. He seems to like him. I like his hispanic chuckle.

I was going to try to take some new photos, but I can't find my camera, and I'd much rather color in my Hello Kitty Coloring book at the moment.

Maybe I can take pictures of that.
