Last weekend, my friends and I went to Katsucon. It was my first time attending a convention outside of the Midwest, and it was an incredible experience! I met so many new people and visited an area of the country I'd never been to before. Not to mention I had a great time doing photoshoots and premiering some new costumes!

Ohayocon was this past weekend! My friends and I had a great time, it felt like the con went WAY too fast though! I can't believe it's already over.

Thursday:
- :devCourtoonXIII: and I left Chicago at 9 AM, it was a 6 hour bus-ride to Columbus. We got there around 5 PM and our friend Carroll (CKDecember) checked us in to our hotel room.
- Once :devchinasaur: and :devSolo-dono: got there, all of us went on a craaazy adventure to Target and Home Depot to get a few last-minute supplies. It was pouring rain and at one point we got lost on this really sketchy freeway exit. And we were attacked by a zombie ghost beaver.

This year has just been absolutely incredible. I don't even know what to say! I've made so many new cosplay friends, finished so many costumes, attended so many cons...! And beyond that, I started college! And moved to downtown Chicago! So many changes... and there's so many more to come!

Holy canoli, time is flying by!  It seriously feels like Youmacon was just last weekend!  I miss all of my con friends so much, boo~!  (We totally need to have a meet-up soon, I can't wait so long to see you all again!  But more on that later.)

This has been an awful week for me, but hopefully things get better once I get to Youmacon this weekend.  I'm really just pushing to get to Friday.  (All of it is due to band drama.  I'm really just done with it.  But I won't go into detail here, don't worry.)

Why does school start tomorrow?  I could've sworn I had three more weeks of summer.  This isn't happening.  I don't have to wake up at 6 AM tomorrow.  No.  I refuse.  8[

Some traitorous part of me is actually excited for it.  It's my senior year, so I'm sort of like, "Ugh, just get this over with already!"  And the sooner it starts, the sooner it's over!

I can't believe I only have three weeks until my senior year of high school starts - it's so scary to think that the summer went by so fast!  It's not that I've been particularly busy, goodness knows I've spent most of my time lazing around the house.  But even so, it's really shocking.  Does anyone else feel like the summer's gone by really fast?  D:

{ HBP Premiere }

...was incredible!  This was definitely the best Harry Potter movie yet.  The cinematography was just stunning, and the soundtrack... gorgeous!  They left out a few elements that really didn't make sense not to include, and added a few that didn't make sense at all, but for the most part, it was really true to the book.  I loved the addition of all the Draco scenes where we got to see what he was up to!  Tom Felton's acting was just spot-on; he definitely made the movie.

One word: amazing.  It was seriously such a good time!  I mean, the con itself wasn't that great, but the point of JAFAX is to chill with your friends in costume.  Which we certainly did!

:devCourtoonXIII:, :devjackciv: and I got there around 11:15 AM - which is record time!  We left at 9:30.  It's usually a 2 hour and 30 minute drive, so that was totally awesome.  We went to registration, met up with our awesome Twilight Town buddies, had a picnic, watched Diane vomit, had a super cool photoshoot, and then hung out like the cool kids we are.
