I've read all your comments, and I must say, thank you all so very much for all your suggestions and kindness ;w; I've been drawing a lot for the past few days, but been mostly unsatisfied with it.
But yeah. Sorry for all the delays lllOTL I've just got to be thankful that I have an obedient scanner.

So I've been dead for a while. Painting, history, annoying brats and a near-dead person in my room - lots of small things add up to a lot.
But then just now, something big got dumped on me.


My tablet. It died.
Actually it's less of death and more like...disabled. It clicks on its own and stuff.
And I'm probably not going to get another one until Christmas (highly unlikely, considering I asked for something rather costly earlier in the month), or my birthday (which is much too far away)

So I've been dead for quite a while. Ah.
Things are going great and horrible at the same time, so I'm living a balanced life of sorts, I guess xD I'm having fun doing other things while trying to get out of the wonderful art block that I am having >_>; it's almost like the pictures don't want to be drawn. (Fan man is halfway through~ though I've got to figure out how to make Flash work with my laptop OTL)

1. Actually I don't know. I was thinking of random Japanese names that sound good, without making up some sort of ridiculous Stu name DDDD:
2. He was for another story that I was planning for our comics club.
3. Uh. He went from a fading angel thing to a gunslinging chef, gained two younger brothers along with a cat, a dog, and a rabbit. He gained several hobbies including baking cute sweets and watching romantic movies and practicing his marksmanship. He's also gotten secretly engaged to a coworker....and he spontaneously aged about twelve years....lllOTL
4. He does all the housework, and he's very stoic but very silly around his girlfriend.


Hans

1. I wanted to give a German name to a character 8D that's all (my names really don't have much meaning behind them)
2. He started as this other character for another story for my comics club after I scrapped the one with Shou in it (this story got scrapped too but I might draw it out for fun). He wasn't supposed to be Shou's brother but they looked too similar to pass up the opportunity~
3. He didn't really change, besides the fact that he made a career switch to a florist. And he picked up a seemingly abandoned bunny from the street after falling for its cute looks on a rainy day.
4. The very first version of Hans had a five-year-old advisor and a loli war general, plus a half-plant pacifist court magician who was bffs with a flying, reanimated corpse...dead...mailman thing with a candle burning on his head (not quite a corpse, really. More like he was in the process of ascending to heaven when he got resurrected).


Chris

1. I think he was the first character to whom I gave a normal name (the other people have typical fantasy names).
2. He was an unplanned child. Meaning, of course, that he was a random design floating around~~ he somehow made his way into FOA and into Shou's family.
3. He's become a lot nicer than his AU self (which would be the FOA Chris, with the original personality), he doesn't use his guitar to fight, and he's studying to become a surgeon~ he's also gained another hobby of video gaming, though he doesn't have much time for it.
4. He was a very happy person but after an incident where he gave in to his curiosity (in the FOA-Chris sense), things started going downhill. He hasn't quite hit rock bottom yet, though.


Hana

1. I wanted her to be as normal as possible? But I didn't want to name her Hannah.
2. Since my other pairing in my legion of 50-something OCs is one-sided, I thought I might as well as give someone an actual spouse/fiance(e)/whatever~
3. I planned her to be a stick, but then she looked strange as a waitress so I made her curvy (I enjoyed drawing her more, too, after that change)
4. Her full name is Hana Penelope Lovecraft. She has appropriate tastes that fit her name. Which means that every time she and Shou have movie night, the traditional "guy gets girl to watch horror movie so that he can hold her" becomes "girl eventually ends up in a bear-hug as the guy desperately needs something to cuddle".



Revolver Ocelot tags 6 people, only because he has six bullets.
Solidus Snake taps 4 people with his four arms.
Raiden realizes that he has no arms and goes to emo in a corner.
Liquid Snake merrily prances around on the handrails and falls off onto a faceless guard, more or less tagging one person.
Otacon hides in a locker.
Solid Snake tags...everyone, after equipping the infinite ammo bandanna. (Which makes Liquid very angry and sends him on a quiche rant)

There was also a very nice Sniper Wolf, not to mention the super-awesome Haseo cosplayer, and the only Rip van Winkle I found.
And that KH group with...maybe 10 keyblades D: plus that awesome Aqua and Ven (Where's Terra? D: )

And the numerous Darth Vaders and the numerous Stormtroopers.




School starts in a couple of days but I don't mind~ after all, first period IS computer arts.

But that cryptic remark aside, I went to the zoo today. Half an hour's drive, and I managed to detach myself from my parents - who were, thankfully, the ones taking care of the kids. So I went for a nice tour of the entire zoo~~~

The zoo was not nice.
Not nice at all.
I somehow managed to miss an awesome exhibit, and I got lost in another area looking for an exhibit that wasn't there lllOTL Ah, well, four hours of walking is good for you.
I wish the animals weren't hiding from the sun D:

It's so strange how time passes so quickly and you never really get the feeling of the days going by in the summer D: I swear I had one more week until my birthday (and then I would have uploaded something but I totally forgot- *shot*) but oh well.

...and that means I should REALLY get started soon on my keychains if I want to show them at FX (even if we don't have a table, I have a photo album-lexicon for a reason-*shot repeatedly*) and I should really really pre-reg.

And Metroid is FUN 8D I think I have a newfound liking for Samus. Too bad I hate using her in Brawl. (Because, you know, there's this other guy who also throws grenades and sets land mines and C4's on people and whips out a mortar and shoots missiles in people's faces and randomly trips and falls occasionally and hobo's in a cardboard box and mimics Captain Falcon on one occasion whom I prefer infinitely more)

Premises

You have heard tales of a peculiar killer on the loose - one that kills worlds and its people. Just as You are wondering how much of it is true, or what You should do about it, You are torn from Your world by a man with bright white hair and magenta eyes gleaming with something You can't quite place. He smiles at You, and says,

"Good morning."

You stare at him dumbly in surprise, then look around in Your surroundings. It has all the makings of an urban city - tall buildings, lots of glass and steel, and flashing neon lights with busy sidewalks - but no one seems to notice you two. Then You see and realize with shock that the man in front of you matches the most popular description of the killer. Before you can say anything, he stops you with a raised hand. He then says,

"I know that I look like one of the more infamous citizens of this world - but let me tell you, I'm very eager to see him dead myself. But considering that I am very...close, let's say, to him, I can't afford any blunders. If you can prove to me that you can be trusted, you can join me - and do the ultimate good deed for your world."

His smile widens, and he extends a hand.

"Do you want to take me up on my offer?"


Battles?

After you decide to join the man, he will introduce himself to you as Hans. He will hand you a map of the city, labelled with various locations, and some kind of phone. He also tells you that he will contact you each day with a task that will ultimately help in bringing the killer to justice.

You discover, however, that the map is torn in half.

You will have to oust another contestant in a battle to complete the task. The kind of task will vary from day to day.

That's about five months to finish comics/create a character/reference sheets/whatnot.

Each person will have one month to complete their round entries.

Meaning, I'm back from AN~ I saw so many awesome cosplayers DDDDDDD: I still can't believe I saw an Ovan.

So yeah, I was walking around in pleather and leather gloves and boots for all three days~~ I met a lot of other Nobodies and in the end I managed to see all XIII members except for Lexaeus.

I didn't buy a lot of stuff, surprisingly, just a keychain and a bookmark...but the bookmark is from ~Otakuyume and the keychains is a DANTE AND NEVAN. Oh god. It's so awesome 8D
But besides that, first con, not a lot of screams/photos/etc., blah blah blah~ I went as Zexion for two days and Xion as the first one, although no one recognized Xion except for this one other Zexion (but I was just wigless Zexion at that time so I feel sad DDDDD: ). his Vexen friend had a pwnsome shield.

In other news:
-My friends did an APH Hare Hare Yukai, you can probably find them on Youtube facing off against a Kenpachi and an Aizen.
-I might cosplay Namine for FX, get a table and do $1 commissions.
-Alternately I'll go as Xion when the DS game comes out.
-At the Hetalia Photoshoot, there was an Obama cosplayer...of sorts...who got cheered and applauded by all the Americas.

Well, things are looking up. I've switched my Comics Club project to 4koma - so many fandoms, so little time. But I can do about 5 of them in a day, if I work hard...so I think I'll have enough by the end of this month x)

FOAT is going pretty well; Jael's an interesting character to fight, it's going to be fun. Still working on action-sequence-panelings, and trying to decide whether to slap on screentone or keep it simple. I think I'll try to keep it simple.

Keychains have yet to start - I was hoping to sell at AN, but I'm going to satisfy myself with Fan Expo and Mayfair at school.

And...and...and...FF Versus XIII.
I just wish I had a PS3.

Oh yes.
I've been in Europe for the past two weeks and it's been great. So many churches, so many beautiful buildings, and random horse carriage rides. Not to mention the pidgeons at St. Mark's Square. They mob you if you have bread.

Not to mention the swan at Luzern. Eleven slices of bread, all gone in thirty minutes.



Other news:
-They were playing House all the way from Newark to Zurich. It was great.
-They were playing Twilight all the way from Barcelona to Newark. It was horrible for the most part but I guess that's because I'm not very fond of the fandom.
-I cut down my page numbers from 75 to 41ish. Easier to finish, but I would have rather made it a oneshot. Guess it's a twoshot now.
-I filled 90 pages of sketchbook with crap that has nothing to do with Europe D:
-Definite improvement to manga-drawing, makes me happy xD
-Tetsuya has four new friends. The five food utensils unite! - spoon, spork, fork, knife, chopsticks.
-New plotline has striking resemblance, almost identical long-lost twin to some TV series called Dexter. After wiki-ing it, it makes me weep. And I thought I was so clever D:

I should word things so that things are more or less comprehensible D:

As for the subjects featured in the art: since the theme is "relationships", you can draw any of your OC's in any relationship (Character A is a student of Character B), or if you have a friend whose OC ties in with your OC (i.e. Your OC is a sibling of your friend's OC) then you can draw that too. Given that you have your friend's permission, of course.

And...well, I'm pulling the "book character" thing out D: so it's wholly OC :3

Subject:

You can feature ANY ORIGINAL CHARACTER. So, no fanart. Although, there are two exceptions to this rule: Book characters without established physical appearances, and your friends' OC's.

The second one is pretty self-explanatory; you don't own the characters, so it would probably be fanart. Although, if you get their permission, you could use it.

Now as to what the first option means - it means characters whose appearances are left up to the readers' interpretation. For example: Cathselprime is an established character from my favourite book, Dragon Raja, who has almost no physical description whatsoever besides being a White Dragon. So people could think of what he looked like and no one would be exactly right - since the appearance isn't described and is thus left for the reader to interpret.

Again, perhaps you remember that I was to receive my (belated) gift sometime around August. Well, I got the parcel today, after coming home from a tour around the neighbourhood (my grandmother and cousin are here) and thus begins the epic tale of...well, epic FAIL.

Me and my sister both take Japanese classes. So we are, when united under a cause, able to decipher most of the website called Amazon Japan.
The description of the item was something along the following (Deciphered from the original Japanese):
"Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + World Navigator + Playstation 2 Version (V[something indecipherable] + Square Enix)"

We thought "World Navigator" was something like, you know, the delivery service.

So imagine my surprise when instead of an awesome game (plus the Chain of Memories remake version), I get a book.

A book.

It turns out that "World Navigator" was...well. It wasn't the delivery service at all. It was more along the lines of a game guide.

I did something really really stupid yesterday. My science teacher, for some reason, decided to give us a project in which we create superheroes based on elements. As my mind always runs in the villain direction, I picked the poisonous liquid metal called mercury. Then I make the character, who looks remarkably like Sephiroth in an Organization Uniform (Better than that person who took Cloud and added random chemical symbols to his clothing) and I lineart it and colour it and it's all coming so well then I say "No" when they ask me if I want to save it.
Baka Monster.
I think the time's ripe for another suicide attempt.

In other irrelevant news, I am not quite swamped with homework and found a very disturbing video of Anpanman and Rozen Maiden put together. Now the opening is stuck in my head. And that villain guy in Suigintou's dress.

Well, finally some peace and quiet in the house, since the little kids are down to two. Oh no...tomorrow's the last day of August. Then four days later, it's high school.
Now why couldn't the fourth be on a friday instead of tuesday
I have this urge to draw some group picture or whatever, and I have absolutely no idea why. Anyone have suggestions as to what I should draw?
Other than that, will continue with my RO Tarot. Now that I am uploading the entire story for SS on FP.com(actually it's only the first chapter but still ) I am pretty much completely set to begin...just have to finish that tarot project.

On another note: Yay only two little kids left!
Yet another note: Oh noes high school D:

One little kid is annoying the hell out of me. She either wants attention, or just emphasizes and exaggerates a lot. Yesterday she cried because a little bit of soup splashed on her or something...oops, rambling again. I really should stop.
Yay half the characters done...now to make the other half. I've been heavily influenced by Dragon Raja and Future Walker, which in turn was influenced by LotR...expect to see the usual mix of non-humans, such as Elves and Dwarves. Maybe not Dwarves. Don't forget the dragons.
But otherwise the tarot, the tarot...man the Empress was really freaky...her eyes just stare into you...and scares me. I do think the high priestess one is the nicest...
