All the while, the snow kept falling. It's still falling. By the time we got to the end of the driveway, the first part we'd shoveled was already several inches deep again. We're getting past the two foot mark and the snow is still coming down.

Crazy times, but it sure does look pretty.

I'm kind of afraid of the deep fryers at work. Long story short, it was a frying accident that took my family and home away from me. Some of my coworkers think it's funny and like to deliberately start frying things when I'm walking by.

Right now, some crazy angel guy calling himself Micah St. George. He's trying to kill me because I'm the manifestation of the sin avarice (which basically means I can turn things I touch into gold and back; haven't figured out the turning back part yet).

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
Umm... one's kind of a fictional character, so...

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
Probably draw her portrait.

An artist. I love to draw, although recently I've been trying my hand at clay sculpture. I seem to have a knack for it.

Falling into a vat of boiling oil. I've had that one ever since the fire.

Earn enough of a stable income to afford a place to live and other things I need, like food and maybe some new clothes.

Probably pinch myself a few times to make sure it was real, then feel remarkably relieved. Then I'd take a nice long nap.

There's this nice spot in the park that has a good view of the bike path and the fountain. I like to sit there and draw people as they go about their day.

1. I've played more male roles than female roles. When I was in high school, I was big into theater. I was in all eight shows my school did from my freshman year through my senior year. My first show was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; I was cast as Edmund. It sort of became a trend after that. I even prefer playing male characters in Dungeons & Dragons now. Go figure.


2. I've been to nine funerals, all but one within my close family. Three grandmothers, two grandfathers, three uncles, and my best friend's brother. If you do the math, that's an average of one funeral every two years. I went to my first (one of my uncle's) when I was four: it was a viewing. Mom seems to think this is why I come up with such morbid story ideas.


3. I know the entire script to Stitch's Great Escape in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom by heart, especially the section from the briefing room. I used to be a cast member in Tomorrowland, and when you hear an attraction's script over and over and over again, you can't help but memorize it. By the way, Sarg's full name is Sargent C4073BK274-90210.


4. I walk on my tiptoes. Ever since I learned to walk, I've been walking on my toes. There's no explanation for it, medical or otherwise. I just do. As I've gotten older, I've "trained" myself to walk correctly, but I still walk tiptoed more often than flatfooted.


5. I invent languages as a hobby. Currently, I've got about three in the works. I tend to make up languages for stories, and then put them aside when I take a break from a particular plot. And I'm not talking about simple letter substitutions or backwards English. These languages have complete grammar and syntax rules. Here's an example of the one I have the furthest along: My name is Kate = Ka-tei ama mein ibatu.

And because I'm not entirely cruel, here are some hints to solving it:

1. The message is four words long. The shortest word is three letters long.


2. The letter "e" only occurs once. Letters that appear more than once are represented by different numbers.


3. "B" could be represented as 4011, 94101, or even 84239, among other combinations.


4. The "code-book" can be found in Wal-Mart or online.


5. Formatting makes the number string look a little odd. I removed all spaces and punctuation when I coded this. Any spaces or breaks in the string of numbers is purely because of the journal format.

Once your gaming group is equipped with a battle grid of some sort, the next things you need are miniatures: tokens to represent characters and monsters on the board. Found objects – folded paper, small rocks, unused dice, board game tokens, etc. – work marvelously for this task, but don’t look particularly appealing in play. It can also be difficult to remember what each token represents, especially if the same token isn't consistently used as the same creature. At the other end of the spectrum, you could buy official miniatures, but at $10.99 for a pack of three (or more, for larger packs and pieces), official pieces can be a strain on your wallet. Unofficial miniatures work too, but again, they can be pricey (and don’t always fit on the board). Additionally, pre-made miniatures will never perfectly represent that amazingly unique character you've created, and you’re limited by what designs are available.

It took me two trips, but I finally got an answer.

First, the reason for my job termination was changed to both the first they gave me and the economy: last one hired, first one fired, essentially. As for meeting expectations...

I was apparently not meeting the UPT goal for my department.

UPT is Units Per Transaction. The goal for my department was three. This meant that for every transaction, we were supposed to sell at least three items. Failing to meet that goal is, it seems, a fire-able offense.

So, let's say my sales goal for the day is $200. I get four customers who each buy a mix and match swimsuit top and bottom (at about $50 for each piece, that $100 per transaction). With those four transactions, I have already doubled my sales goal.

But...

Since each customer only purchased two items, my average UPT was two, below the goal of three.

And so I was fired.

WTF?

I finally have a job! Yay me! Now I can (hopefully) afford to pay for my two online classes. And since it's part-time, I still have time to actually do my classwork .

In other news, I've been getting really into amateur voice acting. I just got cast in an online radioplay of Neil Gaiman's Coraline as one of the ghost children, and Coraline's understudy (although the first choice accepted the role, but still...). I'm already in two other radioplays: Pirate Crewperson in Twin Stars, episode 7 and Female Voice Over the Intercom in The Sonic Chronicles, episode 1. This part as one of the ghost children is the largest one I've had in a production thus far. I'm really excited!

Oh, and in the future, I'll be producing Cruenti as a radioplay. Head's up to anyone who may be interested.

Well, now that I'm a little more settled in my internship, I guess it's time to announce it:

I WORK AT WALT DISNEY WORLD! YAY!

Tomorrowland, specifically, working at Stitch's Great Escape, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and Astro Orbiter. I'm still in training, however, so all I do right now is stroller parking and greeter at the rides. On the plus side, I get to be in the park for events that I've never been able to experience before, so it's been really exciting so far!

I live with seven other girls in one apartment, and we've been getting along great. We (or rather I, since my room had an extra bed) just got a new roommate from China! This is just fascinating for me. None of us are from the same area, and another one of my suite-mates is from Paraguay. She used to share a room with me, but we kept waking each other up in the middle of the night (her snoring would wake me, and I would wake her so she would stop snoring).

At some point, we plan on taking a group photo with us all in our costumes. I like mine a lot; it's very comfortable. Maybe if the gumption hits me I'll take a picture of myself in it.

   - If Mercurius and Alyx are on Mars playing checkers, then Feles and Garnet are probably en route to stop whatever nefarious plan the evil man has for the aligeri.

   - At this point in time, only Mephistis might. He can swim alright, but armor has a tendency to make that difficult. Daniel and David currently have their souls trapped, so they couldn't die from the fall, and Mercurius is immortal.

   - There's nothing stupid about it for Mercurius. He can't die from the fall anyway.

   - Feles. She's immortal and wouldn't die. Besides, Mephistis is too small to break my fall.

   - Daniel: "Dave, you idiot. You made this from the same stuff as that pie, didn't you?"

   - Feles wonders what the hell was put into their food that made Ruby marry Mephistis and Alyx marry Rainer. She wouldn't object to Ruby marrying Alyx, though, and as long as someone killed Rainer beforehand, Mephistis wouldn't be too upset by it either.

    - Absolutely, Alyx is hot. Ask Icy's character, Clarice.
    
    
11. If 10 was to get mauled by a rabid hippopotamus on steroids, what would 3 do?
    - Zap the hippopotamus with his magic and hope that Zephyr was alright. He doesn't know him at all, but that looked like it was painful.

    - Use his bardic music to calm the creature down and get him to release the sprite. Hey, Mephisitis saved him, so Zephyr owes him one.

    3) Is your OC a boy or girl? Male, although he is frequently teased for his effeminate appearance
    4) What's his/her race? Human
    
    Appearance:
    1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get? Rainer tends to blend in pretty well, although the tuft of hair he colors regularly might get some attention.
    2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world? At first glance, yes, but after a few minutes with him it becomes pretty obvious that something isn't quite right with Rainer...
    3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)? His eyes, actually, as he has a habit of staring at various people and objects for long periods without blinking.
    4) Would you consider your OC as attractive? Not really, but don't tell him I said that.
    
    Personality:
    1) Temper: Passive aggressive. He generally comes off as being very taciturn, but he has a malicious streak that will come back to get you when you least expect it. It's almost impossible to tell what sets him off.
    2) Does your character ever get depressed? If he does, it's hard to tell. His depression usually channels directly into anger.
    3) Leader or Follower? Neither, although he likes to play at being a follower. Rainer doesn't like to be in charge, but he hates being ignored.
    4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality? Rainer somehow manages to seem both shy and curious at the same time, and tends to come off as being innocent and childish. Don't be fooled: this facade hides a very twisted, sadistic mind, and he revels in getting revenge on people who have "wronged" him.
    
    History:
    1) Does your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive? Yes and yes: his sister, Hestia.
    2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why? Now he is, only because he forced his group to split up for easier targeting. That plan worked a little too well, so he's trying to find his missing "allies" again.

    Appearance:
    1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get? He's blue. Let's think about this for a moment...
    2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world? Exotic, yes, but still generally normal. It isn't like genasi are completely unheard of.
    3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)? He's blue...
    4) Would you consider your OC as attractive? Oh yes. Physically, at least. He's a little too aloof for me on a more personal level.
    
    Personality:
    1) Temper: As unpredictable as the wind. He could be perfectly calm one second then suddenly fly off the handle at something seemingly meaningless.
    2) Does your character ever get depressed? Other people might think he's depressed, but really he's just daydreaming. He tends to drift off into his own thoughts...
    3) Leader or Follower? Generally a follower, though he has no qualms with speaking his mind. He'll do whatever he thinks is best in a given situation, and more often than not, that means agreeing with whatever ego-centric maniac is in charge to avoid conflicts later.
    4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality? Zephyr is aloof. He doesn't openly volunteer much information about himself, only as much as he needs to get people to stop asking questions. When in doubt, a spell or two can make people go away.
    
    History:
    1) Does your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive? Yes on both accounts. His parents are alive and well (the last time he checked, at least), but he hasn't had much contact with them since he left home.
    2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why? Currently, yes, but he's looking for a traveling companion (mostly for security). His old group of comrades was split up unexpectedly, and he's still looking for some of them,.
    3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events? Well, he woke up one morning to find strange symbols all over his back and arms... Oh, and he was almost eaten by some assassin vines. Does that count?
    4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far? That first night with Hestia, one of his old comrades. I'll leave that one to the imagination...

    ... were thankfully on my external hard drive. Still, I needed to get a new laptop so that I could do my work, since it wasn't exactly possible to hook up my external drive to one of the campus lab computers. So, I went to buy a new one: $850 for a shiny new laptop T_T.
    
    On the upside, I save $100 for a data transfer, since my old hard drive was too dead for Geek Squad to do it. Either way, however, I've been running around like crazy trying to get my work done with the shortened amount of time I got stuck with.
    
    And the screen has a weird resolution: 1280 x 800.

    Now, my latest project, the character set, was based on my latest character, Phineas Drayer.
    
    I got an email from Renderosity. I was worried my product wasn't up to standard.
    
    Thankfully, that was not the case.
    
    No, they were just asking me to change my preview thumbnails to something more eye-catching and to put clothes on one of the preview images because "the review team feels the character in the above listed product appears young and needs to be clothed."
    
    Just a side note: Hiro 3.0 has Ken doll anatomy.

Oh yeah, and my sister's birthday is coming up in eleven days and I still need to buy her a gift.
    
    Did I mention I'm still working 20-40 hours a week? It only varies so much because I keep getting called in when I least expect it. And it's the night shift: my shortest hours are 7:15pm to 11:15pm, when we close. I usually work 3:15pm to 11:15pm. Needless to say, I'm exhausted when I get home, but half-wired from moving around and working, which usually means I may go to bed at midnight, but not neccesarrily fall asleep. Cnsequently, I typically sleep till 11am (unless my mom wakes me up by 10am).
    
    So, assuming I get up at 10am and have an average work schedule (we'll go with the 5:15pm-11:15pm, since it's the middle shift), plus school, plus feeding myself... *head esplodes*
    
    Very busy. I can't wait to get back to my dorm.
