My super-cool aunt worked on the masks, so she got four free tickets for us to go see it and since she knows the creator of the musical, we even got to sit in the splatter seats for the second half. I didn't get completely soaked in fake blood, but I think the little splotches on it look cool. It was a white Evil Dead shirt, so I'm giving it to my friend so she can put it on her wall.

Went to NYC with my sister this weekend. It was pretty fun. On Saturday, we shopped the whole day and went up the Empire State Building at night (it was hella cold up there). It was a great day until that night. We went to a place called Sago's where they sell Bubble Tea (tastes like shit, smells like shit, probably made from shit) that is made from a protein-lactose-shit powder base. I'm allergic to the stuff, so I was up all night, puking my guts out. It was not fun. Since I'm not a rail myself, I'm kind of jealous of the people in my drawings Man, I need to get to the gym or something. Just get ripped...

I finally gave into the whole sweater boots trend. To me, they're pretty ugly, but everyone says they're warm and comfy, so I thought I'd give them a try. And they actually are amazing, mine have a wool lining, so they're really toasty. The only problem is that they're not waterproof, so I had to buy this waterproofing spray that cost like 20 bucks. But it's all good.

I started up the whole Art Challenge thing again, I sort of drifted off into nowhere for a little while. Too lazy to scan anything and my tablet's broken anyway (can't wait for my new pen at Christmas). I'll hopefully be putting up more digital stuff, MY computer is broken anyway (I have really bad luck with digital stuff), so I can't use photoshop until I get it fixed tonight.

He was also coach of the football team and had this amazing talent for mimicking accents. He'd come onto the announcements and get everyone revved up for the next game. He was always the most excited person at the pep rallies and always worked hard and pushed the players. He didn't believe in limits, you could always do better and put your all into the game.

He used to be a bouncer, strangely enough. It was cool because he was this big guy who always had his arms crossed, enough to scare the crap out of anyone, but he always had this goofy, friendly grin on his face that made you feel like he was actually just a big softie.

He genuinely cared about everyone, he always was there to talk to you if you needed him and could always make you smile or laugh even in the worst of times.

He was just... this amazing man. So many students were touched by his compassion for everything. He had the biggest hugs and the friendliest smile. He was an amazing artist with so much talent he could've done or been anything he wanted, but instead he just stayed at our school because he cared about it so much.

While he did all this for everyone else... when they were depressed, they came to him and talked about it and ended up feeling better. Why didn't he just come to us and talk to us? Maybe it would've turned out differently if someone would've reached out to him like he did to us...

The first few songs you hear from them are okay, but I could NEVER listen to a whole album. The whole screaming thing gets fucking annoying after a while.
Rise Against is much, much, MUCH more tolerable. If you're going to waste your iTunes downloads on punk rock or something close to that genre. I suggest downloading maybe, two, underoath songs because they all sound the same...

Well, it's that jolly time of year again folks. Today was the day where are all the excitement ends, where all your gifts have been opened and all your wishes have been fulfilled.

At least, that's how it's supposed to go

I had a great Christmas, except for the friggin' stomach ache I have right now from the greasy, greasy turkey we had tonight. (I'm gonna go vegetarian when I'm 16)

Two of the main gifts I got today were Final Fantasy XII and a Video iPod. I wanted a PSP so I could play FFVII: Crisis Core, but oh well.
Dirge of Cerberus is coming to my city soon, so I'll be able to get it. Can't wait

I was sleeping most of the day today, I've been feeling really tired the past few weeks. It might have something to do with the fact that I wake up at 6am on schooldays and go to bed at 12am.

My mother bought Pirates 2 for my family today and much to her dismay, my brother bought the same movie for her. Now they are arguing over who has to take theirs back.

My brother got a MacBook, lucky bastard. I should have asked for one instead of my Acer, but my Acer will probably last longer than his Mac.

I pulled a muscle two days ago and it friggin' hurts to walk. To make it even worse, I pulled it while sleeping.

...that's right, sleeping. I stretched my leg in the night to far and pulled the muscle that connects my calf to my tendon. Major charliehorse D:

Anyway, I went to a band concert today and played for my old french teacher It was cool. I left my sheet music at home, so I had to wait for my dad to drop it off. I came into the concert late. Thankfully the bassline and trumpets where sitting on the stage, so I could sneak around the drums and sit down without anyone notice.

Except of course for my music teacher D: You should have seen the dirty look she gave me. I felt so dumb afterwards.


I downloaded this song called Fer Sure by The Medic Droid. It's so awesome, but the lyrics are so dumb. I would sing them right now, but my dad's home and he would be all like "what the HELL are you doing?".

Mood: What the hell...?
Watching: Bend it like Beckham

I got my ears pierces two weeks ago. Just noticed three days ago that they were infected and swelling. This morning, I got up early to take a shower and noticed my left earring was missing. I told my mom and she said to not worry about it and we'll find it later.

I thought it was kind of neat to have this hole in my ear lobe, so I leaned towards the mirror and examined it more closely...

That's when I noticed a little gold thing inside the hole. That's right kids...

My earring popped itself inside my earlobe lolololololololol.

I went to the hospital and got my ear frozen so she could take the earring out of my infected and very painful ear. The doctor got the earring out easily enough, but she had to clean my earlobe before freezing it. That hurt. It also hurt when she put on the band-aid, but overall, it wasn't so bad.

Oh well.

Yes, that's right kids, I went to band camp.

Of course this wasn't the Amercian Pie kind of band camp, hell if you were caught anywhere near the other gender's lines, the staff cadets would umm... shoot you. Minus the kid who snuck over to the female lines to have sex with his girlfriend at 1:00 in the morning.

Anywaaaaay, I had fun at Blackdown, I learned a lot of theory and stuff and generally got better at my instrument (I think). I also got my level one and graduated with top honours and came in third for best cadet (although at the time, I didn't know what the medal was for, how smart am I?).

I really liked our staff cadets And Warrant Crothers fooled us into thinking that was his actual last name until the last day of camp. Who would of thought his actual name was Dudenhoffer? (No offense, but that's a very unsexy name ) We also had Sergeant Batty, Reddy, and Wyville, and good ol' F/sgt Briggs. We practically drove Reddy and Wyville to the brink of insanity only half-way through our course and poor Batty lost her voice from yelling at us too often. F/sgt Briggs got really bad migraines near the end of the course too, so all our staff cadets seemed to be pretty glad when we were gone. F/sgt Dudenhoffer was really the only one who was perfectly fine by the end.

Of course, being the dumb kid I am, I did some things wrong at camp >_>; I missed the very first class and didn't bother making up for it during free time. Great way to start off camp. I also loaded the pellets into my air rifle backwards so I jammed the gun eight times and hit the target of the person beside me because... I suck?

Also, never, ever drink laundry detergent, it tastes really bad. XD My friends fooled me into thinking drinking grape juice and uh, yeah. My mouth went numb for the next three hours and I was coughing up bubbles.

We had a tornado warning at blackdown while we were there and all the basics were freaking out. The CLI's were fine, but Jeebus, my friends in my tent were freaking out and screaming and crying. I think me, Erin Foote, and Taylor Lane were the only sane ones that night. I was just sitting on my bed looking around at people and thinking "What the fuck?".

I made a lot of friends at Blackdown and I'll probably never forget some of the experiences I had. I really hope I can see everyone again next summer in CL, but I wouldn't be surprised if not even half of them come back to cadets.

Mood: Patriotic

I know I'm a day late, but I didn't have a whole lot of time yesterday.

Anyway, Canada Day is a big thing, much like the fourth of July, except our fireworks are welfare, seriously.

I went to the Wing yesterday to watch the fireworks and go to the carnival with my friend Emilie, and we wanted to have a lot of fun by ourselves and find some other people who might be there. My mom and Dad were okay with her coming, but my mother invited the Firths along with us.

Emilie isn't a Firth. Nor am I. I didn't really want to spend time with their son Jonah, who's 11 while I'm 13.

Now, you're probably thinking "you're thirteen, wouldn't you want to hang out with guys because there's not a big age difference" blah blah blah.

No.

Just no.

I've known this kid since I was four years old, we had fun playing together when we were little. Because we both liked the same things. But now that I'm thirteen and he's still eleven, I'm not really gung ho' to spend time with people younger than me.

Especially for a kid who doesn't act like he's eleven. For instance, I even think Jonah has ADHD because he's creepy hyper, really. I think he permanently damaged my DDR mat. He also scared the crap out of Emilie when she came over.

Anyway, we ended up going to the carnival, but we had to drag along Jonah with us. It didn't really make much of a difference, but anyway, I'm glad I didn't run into any of my friends. I think Jonah might have tried to hit on Meagen or Ashleigh with his creepy "pick up" lines.

The fireworks weren't so welfare this year though We even got the fireworks that explode on the water, they were pretty sweet. Emilie and I rolled down the steep hill to the picnic area beside the Wing, so much that I threw up when I got home. That was fun. And we would clap like mentally challenged kids whenever we'd see a really pretty firework.

I am SO getting my pyrotechnic license

The rest of the night we hung out and made "your mom" jokes to each other even though Emilie doesn't have a mom.

We got home around 11:00pm or so. I went to bed and stayed up till' 12:00 and that's when the thunder and lightning storms started. They woke me up 4 times during te night, but it was neat with all the thunder and lightning.

The good news is, my cadet marching band won the regional band competition with our kickass freestyle routine now we're going to Trenton to compete in the provincial competition which is possibly the largest music event in Ontario. <3 I'm so happy.

My mother has made me walk through two museums. Picture sniffing and coughing and hacking up phlegm right in the middle of a Vermeer art exhibit.

It's fucking embarassing... and gross. I should have been home sleeping and recovering.

I just really don't want to be anywhere except my dad's apartment right now. Sleeping in the bed he made for me.

Not that I've been getting any good sleep lately. Some kid at my school keeps hitting me with his damn saxophone in my dreams.

Also I was sort of planning on doing an SWMB christmas card, but I sort of suck at cg-ing, so I was wondering if anyone wanted to do that for me I'll do the lineart and everything. But if not, then I'll do it myself.

I really like 's idea of doing an SWMB Advent Days thing. I hope that they'll work out and she'll get all 25 done. Cause' it sounds like an awful lot of work.

Yup, you should have seen grumpy old Naval Cadet Le Page, he was like freaking out he was so happy he had another base, since not a lot of people like to play base.

The baritone is an okay instrument and Le Page is sort of depending on the base section of the band to give it the extra oomph to do well in the competitions.

The grey area is the area between the white and the black area, which makes no sense.

Unless you're tralking about critique.

The Black Area, to start off with, is that you get all critique/flames and no compliments on your art. Personally I think that would suck. And this rarely happens due to the fact that most people would find it in their hearts to comment on your art saying it's wonderful, so you feel better. People are good that way.

Next, the White Area is that you gets pages and pages of critique (whether you're an amazing artist that has has every member's utmost respect, or you have a million friends).

Finally, the grey area. That is when you get compliments saying that your art is good, but you get 4 or 5 at the most. Personally, I am in the grey area I find. It really gets me down when I spend so much time and put a lot of effort into a drawing and get no critique or anything. This doesn't happen a lot on dA really, but in other places it happens quite frequently.

I don't really blame anyone for this, but when art is in the middle and not really AMAZING or DROP DEAD GEORGOUS, it's considered, "good" or "great" or "really nice". This actually worries me, because I feel like people think it's nice to look at, but not quite good enough to leave a comment.

Of course I thank everyone who HAS commented on a lot of my pictures.
