In a nutshell, a huge, evil black dragon which has been missing for years after his last war with Azeroth (the world WoW is set in) has returned. And with him has come a disaster which has torn Azeroth apart. Huge chasms have opened up across all the continents of the world, changing it forever.

But enough of that the important thing is the new playable races.

WORGEN!

woohoo! Alliance players will be able to play as worgen Please dont be negative as I have wanted to play as a worgen since I first saw them years ago so if u know anything bad about them please dont say as I am so excited about this. For people not into WoW, worgen are basically werewolves

oh and Goblins for the horde *snore* hehe

this is how sad I am I have my worgen's name and class sorted already >.< He will be called Moonswings (geddit?!) and be a rogue (basically an assassin/thief)

I know its gonna be at least a year til it's released (no official release date yet) but woo! I'm excited - worgen fan art is to follow

Well, cue the good news We have a new addition coming to the household
Mum has successfully adopted a new Patterdale

His name is Taffy and he's approximately 10 months old. When he was living with his previous owners he broke his leg, but his owners let him live with that agony for 2 weeks without seeking veterinary treatment Anyways, thats in the past and soon he'll be moving into our mad house We had our home check today and they called this evening to say they were happy for us to have him as long as we secured the back wall in case he jumps out, and take him to some training classes

He'll be coming to us on Wednesday - Mum was due some good news and I'm over the moon about this.

It was all fated - he moved foster homes from the other end of the county to just up the road from us. Mum saw him on the internet website - Friends of the Animals, then met him in the park when she was walking Diesel.

So I guess the moral to all this is no matter how shitty life seems at one point, hang in there cos your luck's bound to change sooner or later

Firstly, Paul's uncle passed away the other week. And my uncle passed away earlier this week.

My family's getting smaller :,(

I may not be around for a little bit. My uncle lived alone and I may be called upon by mum to help in some way with his affairs.

I have to be totally honest with you. You guys are fabulous to me. You've been so kind to me and inspiring.
So inspiring in fact I urm... kinda had another go at drawing again last night.

Only instead of trying something serious I tried to relax and not care what they turned out like (as a lot of people suggested. You know who you are! )

I had 2 pagefuls of doodles done and out of those I actually found 3 I liked! three pictures I was happy with after a drought of over 3 weeks!

You may now roll your eyes and say as many 'I told you so's' as you like

I just wanna say my 'strike' would have lasted SO much longer if it wasn't for you guys. As It is you were so inspiring to me, it lasted about 24 hrs.. hence the -ness.

So I hope you enjoy the three latest deviations. They're nothing serious, and I'll probably upload the linearts too so you're more than welcome to colour them if you wish.

Oooh! If you're a Hunter on WoW (like me) I bet ur excited about the patch tomorrow!!!! Exotic Pets here I come!! (In fact 2 of the doodles I've recently done are of the pets I want in future ) It's gonna be the Kurken for me until Lich King is released and then Wooly Rhino here I come!

They've really revamped the hunter class, for instance if you tame something more than 5 levels beneath you it automatically levels up to 5 levels below!!

Sorry I know thats all gobbledegoop to most of ya, but I'm excited!!

I'm not gonna get depressed about it, but I am extremely frustrated with the lack of quality in my art. That last 'attempt' of NightMayor was the last straw. I watch a number of people and all are improving at a rate of knotts while I seem to have ground to a shuddering halt.

I have tried all the hints from the kind people who tried to help me.
Going on a reffy kick as suggested by and doing the thumbnail sheets as suggested by are just not working for me right now.

This is not an attempt to fish for sympathy so don't give me any. I'm just letting you guys know if any of you wonder why the devs have dried up.

I'll still be around looking at everyone's beautiful artwork and I will make a concious effort not to bring you guys down with comments such as 'I wish I could draw that well but... *sigh*' This is my problem guys not yours and you don't deserve to be made to feel bad >.<

While I'm talking about comments I just want to apologise for the lack of comments I leave on people's works. I only get about 60 Devs a day to look through and I only usually leave a couple of comments out of those, which is really bad on my part. If I wanted to make an excuse it would be that this thumbnail idea on DeviantArt means I can just browse through without having to go to each person's dev. But that's not fair on you guys so I am gonna make sure I comment on at least one of each of the people I watch devs every day.

Just a big thank you for all the welcome back's.

I'm afraid the art rut still has me in its diabolical clutches. Despite several ideas for piccies, my drawing hand is still on strike and refuses to listen to the brain's demands.

Also my addiction to WoW has grown to massive proportions seemingly overnight, and a 'I'll just nip on' turns into a 2 hour marathon. I've created 3 new characters and am trying to level them all consequtively. People who know the game will realise what a numpty I am.

I don't have to work tomorrow so hopefully I might be able to get something halfway decent onto my paper...

Feelin in a total art slump at the moment. I have a couple of things I would like to draw but I'm not satisfied with anything that comes out on the page.

I've given up playing in the band which has freed up the rest of my evenings, but unfortunately I'm filling that gap with WoW which is not good cos I know how obsessed with it I get. To be honest one of the things I want to draw is my Tauren character, Cloudedeye (in my scraps). But nothing comes up on the page how I picture it in my mind.

My drawing ability is about a 10th of my imagination which causes a lot of frustration. I picture it almost exactly as I want it, but my hand just goes on strike and it ends up like some kid has drawn it.

I think the adoptions are going to be coming to a close, I've made such a mess up with the last one that I just want to give them a rest. Plus there are still quite a few available, so I might hang on til they all go before contemplating it again.
