I cried.

Yes,

I am officially a twitard.

Well, except for the fact that I'm not a 14 year old screaming ankle biter who shows up at Robert Pattinson's/ Taylor Lautner's/ Kristin Stewart's house in nothing but a towel, screaming "OMFG BITE ME/ OMFG LET ME BEAR YOUR CHILD/ OMFG LET ME SMOKE POT WITH YOU!!"

Anyhoozer.

The movie, overall, wasn't that bad.

Seriously guys. In my opinion, the acting could have been better... For example!

SPOILERWTF?!?!

When Edward leaves Bella, I think Kristen should have shown much more emotion after he disappeared. Instead of screaming out of internal pain, anger, confusion from her heart being broken by the love of her life, she wanders through the forest for a bit calling after Edward, which is fine, just not what I had expected.

I still cried, though. So, kudos!

I watched the movie online (shhhh!) so, the quality was sort of shitty, but from what I could see, the graphics and special effects have gotten better since the first movie.. and I suppooooose the acting has as well.

But I must admit.. I nearly pissed myself from laughing when Jacob decided it would be totally appropriate to dramatically take his shirt off (while stretching his new, buff self) and use it has a towel on Bella's bloodied face. She just had to get on the motorcycle, eh? Bella's such a twat sometimes, I swear.

Alright, well there it is. My personal review of The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

I'm still reading Breaking Dawn, by the way. So... No spoilers, whores.

Kita just came back from the Lagoa Kale Fest!

This is an event that happens around October of every year that celebrates Portuguese Heritage! And because I am a Portuguese artist and have connections with the people who run the event, I am able to hang some of my best pieces up, framed. They pieces ranged from $75 to $120 and have been shown in a few galleries in the past, but never sold.

HOWEVER, at the end of the fest, a man came up to me and asked to see [link] !!!

He bought it for $100! My first sale! We took a picture together and everything

Dammit Dammit Dammit!!

I don't fuckin understand why I'm always the wrong one in this house.

I get home from class in the morning, complaining to my mum that it was beyond my ability to just stay awake for the last half-hour, and that I was exhausted.

We get home, and I lay in the big comfy couch and say groggily, "I'm soo tired.."

Mum: "Then take a nap."

Kita: "but..I have work..." (Mind you, it's MONDAY, so I ALWAYS have work at 1)

Mum: "somethingsomething not till later..." (it was 11:40 when I got home)

So then, with that affirmation, I passed out with part of me thinking she'd wake me up... am I wrong for thinking that way?

Considering she said it like that, I'd never thought in my wildest dreams she'd actually let her daughter SLEEP THROUGH HER SHIFT... especially on her last week of work.

But, lo and behold, when I woke up... something felt strange... it was too dark...

*checks her phone*

"FOUR THIRTY!?!?!"

I am confused, and enraged at myself and at my mom, who's been walking around the whole house without even giving my unconscious body any recognition whatsoever.

So, I storm into the kitchen and the first thing I blurted out "Mom!! I missed work!!"

"What?! You had work?"

Kita is SHOCKED and PISSED at this point.

For the passed two or so weeks, I had discussed with her EXACTLY when I ended work, and what days I worked, and even made a damn color-coated Schedule for her and posted it on the fridge!

I even told her I had one last week of work YESTERDAY...

Now, think of this, your mother is getting old (not really old..in my case, 54) and can't even remember ANYTHING you tell her.. and for some reason, it's only YOU. You can have a total conversation with her, and an hour later, be like "Oh, remember when we were talking about so-and-so?"

"Uhm.. No, we never talked about that."

Yeah, well, this has been pretty much our lives for the past three or four weeks.

Anyway, back to the conversation.

So, she said "What?!... You had work?"

"Of course I did, Mom!! (By the way, she is standing RIGHT next to the schedule)
"Why wouldn't I?! I even made you a schedule, Mom!!" (and I had to mention this, because for some reason, she still seems to think my schedule changes from day to day, and for some other reason, she thinks I wouldn't tell her if it did! (?!)

*Mom looks at the schedule* "Oh! But I didn't know you had work today!"

*dumbfounded*

"It's on the SCHEDULE! Why wouldn't I have work today?! I even told you before I fell asleep!!"

"No you didn't!"

"WHAT?! OH my GOD! Yes I did! You never LISTEN TO ME!"

And then she begins her rant about how it's MY responsibility...not the fact that I DID tell her and she RESPONDED... because for some reason, that's not important in this matter.

YES, I am FULLY aware of my responsibilities, but there's the case when she said "somethingsomething not till later" which gave my exhausted mind reassurance that she'd have my back when I needed it.

Here's something else you need to know. I NEVER yell at my mom. You know why? Because in my mind and heart she has always been so smart and strong, and I've always had the utmost respect for her.

Not this time.

"I can't BELIEVE YOU! You NEVER hear me when I talk to you!"

She's still ranting on about how that's not the point, and about this time, I've left the kitchen and walked up furiously to my room.

When I entered, I slammed the door. I've only slammed my door a handful of times (or less.) I consider that you only have a certain amount of freebies to slam a door in your teen life, and I decided to use one now. It was called for.

I'm sitting on my bed, crying my eyes out (and still utterly pissed at my mom.)

She comes in and the first thing she says is "Why Are You Crying?!"

"Because I'm PISSED!" (once again, a freebie)

Then she goes on how it's my fault..

I interrupt her, saying "But I TOLD you I had work!!"

She stops, with a stunned look on her face.

"No you DIDN'T!"

"WHAT?! YES I DID! WHEN I LAYED DOWN, I SAID I WAS TIRED, AND YOU TOLD ME TO TAKE A NAP!!"

"Right!"

"AND THEN I SAID 'OH, BUT I GOT WORK!' AND YOU SAID 'NOT UNTIL LATER!' "

See, I wanna bring my boyfriend with me... and my best friend thinks he and I should cosplay as a couple!

now, this is the first time either of us would be cosplaying...

And what i need now is SUGGESTIONS.

lol.

There's alot of anime girls I WOULDN'T cosplay as merely because of my weight and how an outfit would be very...unflattering on me.

I'm short (4'11"), about 158lbs, (you've seen my pics, you know what I look like lmao)

uhm..yeah, shortish dark brown/black hair, brown eyes...

uhm.. My lovely prince is tall, about 5' something or other, slender, short black hair, brown eyes.. (he's asian, if that helps?)

basically, I can't think of anything that would work for us...

he's okay with not cosplaying at all, but i think it would be fun.. but i always have that issue with my weight and feeling uncomfortable and people laughing or snickering.. blaaah..

A commercial IÂve been seeing a lot lately that makes me just want to both laugh and sigh in disgust is the new Axe commercial for their ÂchocolateÂ scent. The main thing about this insane commercial that caught my attention was the man (who was not only made out of chocolate) but who also had a terrifying facial expression. Like cross between extreme happiness and a bit of psychotic madness. As if that isnÂt strange enough, during the commercial women are taking bites out of him!

For example, while heÂs standing on a bus, a lady who is sitting behind him reaches forward and bites a chunk out of his tush! Yes, I laughed, but it made me wonder ÂWhy is he still smiling?!Â I personally would be astonished, perplexed, and a little intrigued as to why a woman would munch on myÂ well, you get my drift. But I sure wouldnÂt be smiling like that!

The women, most of them anyway, acted very sexually throughout the advertisement. A couple of these ladies were even licking off his ears in a dark movie theater. The only reason I would ever want to buy this product is to check if it actually smells like chocolate, and if itÂll have some freaky side-effect / skin-evolving mutation on me as well. Heck, if the guy on TV can be made of chocolate, why canÂt I?

There was an entrance on the right, and the exit on the left, separated by a piece of man-made land. I'm sure you know what I mean.

For people who live in New Beige, it was very similar to the plaza that has Job Lot, Family Dollar, and that McDonald's.

Ya know, where you enter and exit? and that chunk of triangular cement in the middle?

Well... when we entered the plaza, there was a man in a wheelchair, sitting at the point of that triangular cement piece (facing into the plaza).

He was very old...or at least, that was his appearance.

A bushy white beard, dirty clothes, and a small cardboard sign he held up on his lap.

We drove by too fast to read it..

... As we drove off into the plaza, I asked my mom if she saw him. She shook her head, and I explained what I saw.

We both felt bad..of course...

After we went to the store, we were leaving threw that exit, and I saw that the man was still there.

Facing us, I had a chance to read his sign

My mom and I looked at each other, and we stopped the car... she pulled out her wallet...

As we pulled up about five feet, I remembered something..

I had my wallet...

I only had a dollar bill, and 5 dollars in quarters, but I told my mom to stop!

I grabbed for my purse, poured all my money into my hands, and stepped out of the car.

The traffic behind us...never beeped.

They waited patiently, and I ran behind my mom's car, to the old man.

He didn't see me coming, so I said "Excuse me, sir..."

He looked up at me...with old, wise eyes..

He looked at my hands, and I said "This is all I have..for you.."

He held out his hands...like a child getting candy on halloween...

His hands were dirty...but kind.

I dropped my money into his hands, and he looked straight at me, smiled, and said in such a kind voice..

"God Bless you, child... have a great day.."

I smiled back, and told him "You have a good day too.."

The man behind us, in his truck, only had an expression of guilt...sadness...

but the traffic waited patiently..

I got back into the car, and as we drove off, I was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion..

I began to cry...

My heart was aching for that man...

I wanted to help him even more...

I wish that the people behind us, even waiting patiently, could have also gotten out of their cars and given something to that man...

I hope he sleeps well tonight...

We kept it in the tray with frosting and sprinkles on top, and it looked like a cake.

We went to Jackie's house.

And he and Jackie were gone for like..20 minutes.
When they came back, we went to the picnic thing.

so we went out on the porch (I was confused as to whyyy we went to the porch, and whyyyy jackie was filming it as we went)...

So..I'm standing near him, and he lifts the tin foil off the brownie tray..

and it reads (messily lol)

and near the bottom, it says..next to two pink hearts..

I was just laying down, wicked tired and whatnot

and I kept drifting in and out of sleep...without thinking about it..
and then I got stuck. I was so scared.

but my "dream" kept happening!

I was in the stairs outside of apartment doors. Like, I was looking into the peep hole of one of the rooms, and it was so detailed!! and I heard shuffling going on above me, like people of the top floor, and it was so dark!! I couldn't breathe again!

I was trying to kick my feet or SOMETHING. I managed to move my thumb into my mouth and bite it until the pain woke me up...

I'm so out of breath...I'm nearly shaking..
My head hurts so much...

Oh god, what was that place!?

Okay...now that I have more or less calmed down.

The times I kept falling asleep, in and out, I felt a sort of constraint and numbness and I fell into the sleep, which snapped me out of it.

I had some weird dreams at first, like running around with baby Simba, Timon and Pumba, looking for Aladdin.

Yes, that is a dream, and I knew it when it was happening.

Then I woke up.

but I kept drifting...and finally...numbness...constraint..but I couldn't keep it away this time.

And then I just ..opened my eyes.

And I saw a door to an apartment right in front of me.

It was all dark and dusty.

To the left, an old window. I didn't look, but I could see out of the corner of my eye, it had pale beige curtains (small ones), the window was closed, and with what little light was shining in, you could see the dust floating around.

To the right, an old wooden banister.

I leaned over it...and looked down. I saw the first floor, and the stairs leading to the bottom.

The stairs also went up one more floor, but for some reason, I didn't want to go up there. So I stayed where I was.

and it all happened to quick, too.

I floated (yes...floated) ...my feet never touched the floor...like, just inches away...

I floated to the door.

Never touched the door knob. Didn't even knock.

But I looked through the peep hole instead.

This is what I saw.

A very old looking, dusty apartment. I saw old ripped wallpaper. A wooden table, no chairs. The opening to a kitchen on the right, and after the table, an opening to the living, maybe.

It looked abandoned.

But then my sense of hearing kicked in, and I heard muffled shuffling above my head, and I just knew it was people walking around on the floor above me.

And that point I didn't even have to think about my room, and I was just BACK.

I was back in my room, in my body...panicking.

My breathing was so shallow. I wanted to take deep breaths, but I couldn't. I wanted to move, but something wouldn't let me.

Most of all, I wanted to scream for help.

I tried to kick my legs..no movement.

I tried to move my tongue towards my lips in a futile attempt to open my mouth and make some type of noise.

Finally, with more effort than ever, I managed to bring my thumb into my mouth (since I fell asleep with my hand near my face) and bite it 'till the pain shook me out of my paralyzed nightmare.

I opened my eyes, groggily at first, then sat up in a heartbeat.

Air never tasted so refreshing before.

Some of my friends have asked me, with a look of shock, why on earth I'm not going to college for art, and instead, of all things, Human Services!

Believe me...I really want to be an artist. But if I wanna be able to LIVE off of that kind of paycheck..I'd need to move to somewhere like Cali or NY.
And I really don't wanna move so far away just yet..

Plus, I'd need luck.

So...I figured...might as well go to college for something that could pay well..

What I want to be, with a degree in Human Service..well, beats me.

Maybe one day I can be an Artist.

But until then, I'll just have to deal with reality.

This is Kita, an hour early on campus.

i don't have much to write about I guess...aside from the fact that i'm happy there's wifi on my college campus.

that's pretty nifty =]

Right now I'm sitting on the steps to a small bridge that crosses over a lake. it's smells really nice here, despite it being Fall Reeve and all.

Such nice weather too. It's sunny, but a little windy, so it's not hot. And the wind is blowing the water, making cute little waves under the bridge.

My class is across the campus, so I'll leave in about 40 minutes.

40 minutes...with nothing to do. How nice.

I would walk around, but my backpack is heavy..

And I have a purse.

Ya know, I'm a girl and all.

I'm not sure if I'd call the lake a "lake"

It's kinda small, I think

but it's too big to be a pond.

A nice smelling, refreshing-looking pake.

i'm sitting near a railing. And a tree. A pine tree, I think. It's blocking out the sun. There's alot of grass everywhere. I like that about this place. Alot of green stuff. And so many trees, especially near the pake.

There are fish in the lake, too. Little fish.

Not Koi, though.

I wish there were Koi. Those are pretty fish.

And not just because they're asian fish

it's weird, too. Even though this is a college campus, people randomly go fishing in the pake, and right now I see a man walking his golden retriever.

College life is kinda weird like that, I guess.

Oh well...i'm gonna go find something to do.

I'm too shy.

Around ze boys, I mean.

And it's true. Whenever I see a cute guy, regardless if i know him or not *especially NOT / especially if I LIKE him* I can barely manage eye contact for more than half a second.

It's a real problem, folks.

I need to be ...in the words of a good friend, 'bolder'.

And I don't know how to be...bolder.

I don't know how to be more active or peppy or talkative with guys.

I told my mom that I wish I could be more flirty, but in her old-school lingo, flirty means whorey...so there's no help there =/

I want to be able to smile at a guy. Maintain eye-contact and hold up an interesting conversation.

I try really hard, ya know?

I test myself all the time when I go out. I see a guy, he looks at me, I look at him and BAM I'm looking at the floor.

I don't know WHY I have such horrible reactions.

And it really doesn't help that I have such low physical self-esteem.

I know, i love all my friends because whenever I say that they always tell me "You are so beautiful, and whoever can't see that is an idiot!"

I ..I love you guys so much. But I know some people out there understand what I mean when I say "It's just not enough when friends who already love me say it... and even if I know I'm pretty..or have a pretty face, for instance. A pretty face doesn't always cut it..especially when you feel ugly at the end of the day, when the words of encouragement have faded beyond the truth that is held in your own reflection at night."

My mirror is my worst enemy most days, and my best friend -besides Jackie lol- some other days.

So...as much as you all want to cheer me up...I still feel ugly on the inside...and simple words just can't stop the tears.

I need to be taught how to talk to boys, I guess..

There's no point. He's rejected me a number of times, already.

But I need to say something that I can't stop thinking.

It's not a big deal, I just wanna write this down.

When you smile, I swear I get the warmest feeling in my heart and face. It's so strange, that all you need to do is smile, and I'm hooked. It's the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. And I know now what smiles are fake and which are real. When I made you laugh..it was real. Most of the smiles in the prom pictures were, however, masks.

But in those moments where you smile for real...it doesn't matter if you like me or not. It doesn't matter if you ever will. All I know is that you make my day with your smiles. Here's my quote, that I always say...and think..

"His smile is so dazzling." I've never used that word before.

'Dazzling'.

Sounds so cliche`, no? But believe me...there's no other way to describe it.
That's the one thing I can honestly say that I Love about you.

Your Smile.

Maybe one day he'll read that. Not that it makes any difference if he does or doesn't. I've tried my hardest and I only hope that I made some type of impact on his feelings...

But..

You know what?

Even if he never comes around...it's alright.
I can move on.
I know what I deserve...and I shouldn't settle for anything less than that.
There's no point in suffering for something that can't be helped.

Just gotta get up, brush off the dirt, and wear a smile.

I'm the kind of girl, who, sneaks up on her baby ducklings at one in the morning to see if their first night in their new home is pleasing them. Seeing if they are fast asleep.

I'm the kind of girl who's heart fills with warmth when she holds an animal.

I'm also..the kind of girl who breaks down in sobs when she finds out her darlings have been torn to shreds overnight by some carnivorous beast.

I'm also the kind of girl who can barely speak when she is told that something snuck into the yard in the middle of the night, killed one, and devoured the other...leaving bits and pieces behind...

I'm the kind of girl who feels lost and helpless...and wishes to protect...but even though she cares for the young, even though her heart bursted with joy the first time they stretched up and flapped their tiny wings...she can't even protect two baby ducklings...from the horrid attacks of predators.

The two little siblings.

The older sister, calm and kind.
The younger brother, prone to run away, and peeped much more.
but just as kind.

They didn't deserve this.

they were..so young...so weak and fragile...and I wanted to hold them to my heart, like I did with my first baby duck, all those years ago.

Quackers, I named her. Silly, I know, but I was only 8 or 9.

I raised her to be big and strong...and when she was tiny, I'd dig up worms for her in my yard, and wash them in the bathroom sink so they would be clean...

I'd give her baths, and when I dried her, she'd rub her head under my chin...I felt like a mother to her...

I wanted to feel like a mother to these two, as well.

I wanted to protect them...raise them...take care of them...watch them swim for the first time...

And this will never be.

I'm so sorry, my little ducklings...

Today...I signed out. I'm no longer a senior at my school, at my home. It was so hard saying goodbye. And Lord knows I was a mess, crying every other minute. I hugged everyone I could think of... My teachers..my classmates...people I don't know too well...people who are like family to me...

I even hugged my favourite lunchlady â¥

I cried as we all sang the song above...as it played loud on the speakers...we danced like goofballs...and then we cried some more...

When it came down to saying goodbye to my mentor...she saw me... The first thing she said was "My minion...what will I do without you?" as she opened her arms wide and took me into a loving embrace...a motherly embrace... Jackie and I hugged our mom-away-from-mom and sobbed into her arms...she rubbed our backs...shared her words of wisdom...took lots of pictures with us...and sent us on our ways...

I so badly wanted to see

but he was not in school...but I got to see Jaicob in the morning and give him a big hug...

Once this all sinks in again...I'm gonna cry...alot...

Jackie pulled out her cellphone in class -she had a countdown timer-

"One hour and 59 minutes left.."

Actually, we got out about an hour before the countdown finished. Apparently as soon as your signed out, you have to leave..

I called my mom, crying on the phone...telling her how I'm not a senior anymore...never able to sit in my chair at my computer in shop...never again...

This hurts more than I ever thought it would..

but..

It's time to move on... it's time to grow...and take this adventure of life by the horns...

I need to be brave and strong and prove to everyone behind me back in school that it's a good thing...something to be proud of...

And I am proud...

I'm the first in my family to be graduating of high school...I am the first and only...

I'm proud to have graduated from Voc-Tech, Media Technology, Class of 2008!!

I Love You All, Classmates and Teachers alike!! I will never forget you!!

Today was my very last full day of high school..
I cried in shop. I cried outside. and I cried at home.

So many people signed my yearbook today at the Yearbook signings in the Caf.

Craig did too.. I feel kinda bad because I message I gave him was plain...but his was kinda sweet. I gave him a hug, though..

I saw so many friends... I wish I saw them all...

One good thing, though..

Everyone was being dismissed right at 2:30 from the Caf...and that meant that I could wait for You-know-who near his shop...

I was nervous...and I wanted Jackie to come...but I did it on my own..

I asked him to sign my yearbook, and he did... I was so happy ;... He asked me if I was excited about prom, and I was like "Yeaaah...and really nervous too.."

After a little bit of light conversation, he had to leave...so he gave me a hug...and I was shaking and the room was spinning so much afterwards...

That boy has such a huge impact on me, it's so weird...

Like, when he was bending over to sign my book on the table...his black hair was hanging in front of his face, and I so terribly wanted to run my fingers playfully through it....

I stared at his eyes when he wasn't looking...they are so beautiful...

*If you wanna know what he wrote, I might tell you via note, but it depends on who you are :3 His privacy is important to me.*

The rest of the day was tough...very hard... I cried so much...I hugged everyone that I could think to hug...

I saw Steph and Jaicob...I hugged them too..I wanted to...

I hugged everyone...

I said my goodbyes...and even the lunchlady signed my yearbook...she's so sweet...

I feel like I've made such an impact on so many people's lives...I hope they know that they've done the same for me...

I love you all, friends...

Thank you for all the wonderful memories...Thank you for everything...
