Alright, remember how I said I'd be in a better mood, and doing more art? Yeah? Well, has it happened yet? I don't think so. It's not that I haven't been in a decent mood, just that I couldn't think of anything to draw. Well, not really, but some real life stuff. Wednesday is midterm, which means that civics/careers will be switching, which means that I won't have to deal with some fat, crappy teacher all afternoon every day, which means that my mood will probably be a lot higher, which means that you'll end up seeing a lot more art from me, because higher mood = more skills for me. I'll pause a moment now for you to take that all in. I reccomend reading it a couple times more to yourself.

I spent all of Sunday sucking ass at Ping Pong, then kicking ass in SSBM and Mario Party 4 at 's place. Suffice it to say that it wasn't my average, quiet, boring weekend.

so i herd u like gaimz?? Yeah, long time no speakie. I've been on DA almost every day, I just haven't bothered to post a journal. Anyway, I got that flashcart, and it works absolutely perfectly. I could not be happier with it. I was MAJORLY addicted to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and played every day until I beat it just recently. Now I'm playing Pokemon Diamond, Megaman ZX, and Starfox Command. 3 awesome games.

I've also got some new ROMtastic adventures for the games I have that aren't out yet, including a homebrew DS MSN app called Beup Live. You should check it out, in the Recently Completed Projects section.

Right, so I was halfway through burning Pokemon Diamond to my NeoFlash 512mB flashcart. Then it freezes at 50%. So I close the program, there's an error, end task, yada yada yada. Long story short, now my Flash cart is broken, the Neo Power Kit won't even open. Luckily, I put out an order for a Supercard SD which is apparently MUCH better than my crappy card. It should arrive by next weekend, meaning that not only will I be able to try Diamond, (With no Question, as it's almost guaranteed to play every ROM) but
I'll also get to try other games that didn't work before, like Mario Hoops 3on3, Megaman ZX and the Opera Browser. All while being able to save, too.

If you noticed the little mortified mood icon up there, it's because this morning I was experiencing some Pleuritic inflammation. I couldn't take a breath without it hurting like hell. It thought I had like, cancer or something, and I was going to die, but it feels way better now.

Yeah, all sorts of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl info is being let out now. I won't be able to try the ROM until tommorow, but my dad's gone all weekend, so if it works with my Flash Cart, you can bet I'll be having a ROMtastic adventure. Don't get your hopes up just yet though. My flash cart is a little bit outdated now, so barely any newer games work with it. I just hope to Buddha that Diamond works. If so, I'll have a whale of a time.

On another note, I've uploaded a lot of commission work I've been doing at Pixeltendo. Some of it is on my other PC, so you can expect a little flood of deviations from me later this weekend.

Yeah, like always, I'm posting my thoughts about the first day of school, I guess. Wasn't anything special. I've got art first thing in the morning, which is nice, but the rest of my classes suck. My history class is filled with clueless drones who never shut up. My Careers class is just plain gay. I mean, it's career studies. What's gayer than that? And Religion doesn't suck as bad as History and Careers, but that's no accomplishment. Lets just say the only thing I think I'll be enjoying this semester is art, and I'm done with that first thing in the morning, left with the rest of the day for stupid crap.

Rant aside, 5 days till the day the creation dome opens. I'm sure you're just dying to know what's going on about this, so feel free to ask any questions you have via commenting, and I'll answer it below.

The Creation Dome FAQ
Q: Uh... What is it?
A: The Creation Dome is a message board, dedicated to the sharing of users' creations. In the dome, everything is considered art if somebody made it, and we encourage a vast variety of different art to be put on display there. However, it's not limited to people with insane amounts of talent. My hope is to build a strong community that's worth staying for, whether you post art or not.

Q: When Is it going to open?
A: Sunday, September 10th.

Q: What else are you going to do publicity wise? Advertise it everwhere? Affilites? What?
A: I'll have a banner in my sig at every forum I visit. I'll be advertising it in every single one of my DA journals, and will attempt to affiliate with some sites.

Q: So it's a forum about creating things?
A: Yes. That's the main theme. It's basically a forum like DeviantART, except we have no borders on what's considered "Creating." You're allowed to post art, stories, games, Youtube movies, whatever.

Q: Can I be admin?
A: No. Though you have a good chance of being mod if you join sooner and I know you well enough. I'll need at least one mod for every forum.

Q: Good luck. Talking from experience, you'll need it. Okay, this wasn't a question. Sue me.
A: Yeah, that was what this whole campaign was about. Making people aware of it, so it doesn't fail. Also, the reason most of my other attempts at forums have failed, was because I didn't visit them MYSELF very often. That's going to change with this one. But thank you.

A: Actually, I'd have to say it tastes more like bacon.

Q: What kind of "creations" will be posted there?
A: The word creation is used in its loosest sense. Pretty much ANYTHING that a user creates themselves, they can post it there.

I'm currently at my grandparents' house. I was lucky enough to be able to get online. I won't be heading home until Sunday morning, so hopefully you can live without me till then. Though I still might be online, since there's not much else to do out here.

I actually took my first steps on American soil, at some random gas station in Buffalo, so we could buy some cokes that had coupons for $6 off at Six Flags Darien Lake on the cans. I find it a bit odd that they sell packs of beer at Gas stations over there though.
"Alright, I'll take an 18 pack. Bye."
"Okay, drive safely now."
That about sums up the first time I've stepped out of my own country.

But yeah, I went to Darien lake, and it was a bit funner than I thought it'd be. Though I didn't want to go at all. At least it wasn't a total bore. But we couldn't even use the coke cans, since they were giving out $10 off coupons at the park entrance. Overall, I'm glad we went, but I wouldn't feel like going again.

I recently played around with my DS flash cart and downloaded a rom of Wario Ware Touched. It's pretty cool. Although I'm glad I didn't buy it, as I already beat it, the first night I had it. I also tried to play Starfox Command, but it didn't work. ; ; And I got to see the HUD of the Nintendo DS opera web browser for a few seconds when I turned it on, then it gave me some japanese error message and turned itself off. As for the creation dome, I've added a new section for hints about it. Some people tried to squeeze info out of me through MSN. They got the same answer as anyone else. "Nope. Wait till September 10th."

I bought New Super Mario Bros, recently. It's pretty cool. Nothing special. But a good game to play when the power goes out, which it often does here. I also made another video. This time of WWT on the gamecube. If you're into disobeying the MAN who says it's not compatible with the gameboy player, then check it out. Also did something in flash for the first time in like, 3 months. Not counting Felicity stuff, of course. Greetings, mortals. I have come bearing unfathomable news. Teehee... Unfathomable... Actually, I don't really have anything important to say. Just a bunch of little news. I've played the game Prey. It was pretty damn cool. I especially love that fact that you can always come back when you die, so people like me who suck aren't always restarting levels. Also, I've been tinkering around with my webcam a bit recently. You can find the results in my "Recently Completed Projects" section, which by the way I've just now replaced "Current Projects" with. Just a generic video of me playing Wario Ware Twisted. Tune in for the sequel, when I pop it into the gameboy player on my Gamecube, and things get interesting.

Exams are coming up, starting next week. Not really anything big. Just the usual stuff.

Yeah, I've been working on a game in RPG maker XP. It's called Twin Gemstones. You'll probably see a lot of concept work and whatnot from it. Not much else to say, really. Maybe I'll put up a demo of it soon.

Oh yeah, I took down the Oblivion log thing. I still play Oblivion, but I have so many different files goign at once, that it's too confusing to make a log. Although I have to say, being a vampire has its downsides. I had to hide out in a cabin for 15 minutes waiting for the sun to go down, and I couldn't speed-wait, cause I was tresspassing, so I had to wait it out normally. I found quite a few glitches in there, like standing on a floating paintbrush.

Right, some more real life drama. My mom and her boyfriend are breaking up, and he happens to be entitled to our house, as well as half of our belongings. Which means, my family has yet again been screwed over by my mother's failure to to be independant when it comes to relationships. Hell, I knew it would happen the day we moved in with him. Luckily, it's not all bad. We're not being dumped on the streets or anything, as my Dad's place is a second home to me, so we'll be moving in there for a while. I won't even have to switch schools or anything, so I'm really not affected by all of this. Really, I'm not even the least bit saddened, as I saw it coming. I never really got too attached to my wouldbe stepdad for that reason. We've been through this many times before. It's like a pattern. I thought this would be the first year of my life that I don't move, but it turns out it's not. Happens every time. Mom gets a new boyfriend, moves in with him, dragging us kids with her, moves out like 2 months later with half of our stuff gone. It's pathetic how many times it's happened, really.

So yeah... Not much else going on. I'm not really sad about this, or surprised. I'm not happy either though.

I got Metroid Prime: Hunters, finally, and it lives up to every ounce of hype it got. Although I'm a little dissapointed with how short the story was. (There could have been more than 4 planets.)

As for what I did Yesterday, for April Fools, I:
-Began a nazi campaign at Sonic spin, warning every single member that logged on. And I mean EVERY single one.
-Helped Aero with his army of mass MSN destruction.
-Convinced all the people immitating Aero on MSN to immitate me instead.

Well, the first week of my second semester was alright, bar a couple incidents, i.e. offering up my lunch to the gymnasium floor. I've got a tech course in the morning. It's great, because I'm one of the smartest people in it. Hell, wiring is barely even work. It's like learning how to hold a pencil for English class. Yet to my confusion, people still seem to have trouble with it. It's easy as pie for me, if you just follow the wires, and test the circuit in your head before attaching a power source. Then there's geography. Since the architects who designed my school were lazy, we're forced to go outside to a portable classroom, in frigging Canadian winter, to get there. Luckily, even though I missed an entire year of Geography, I'm still one of the smartest people in it. Not much of an accomplishment though, since most of the people in my class have trouble spelling their own names. The class I'm not liking is Phys ed. I'm not used to physical activity, so I wasn't surprised that it only took one class for me to vomit all over the gym floor. At least this class will help me delay the effects that second hand smoke will have on me though. I've also got math, which is a breeze. It seems like everybody who isn't a vegetable is bunched up on one side of the classroom, so anybody can tell the smarts from the idiots. We've got laptops in math, but the teacher might as well just be giving us answers, since we get raped for touching any button that we aren't told to.
In all, I can see this setup working. I'll have to find a way to survive Gym without failing, but aside from that, this semester will be a walk in the park. Just a very long walk, with a bunch of kids running around, and a bear chasing everyone.

In other news, my second semester of school begins on monday. I wasn't able to take art this year... Stupid France... So instead, I'm taking an integrated technologies course. This semester will probably be better than my last, with no french (I dropped out of the french program at my school) except for the fact that I have *shudders* phys ed. I hate physical activity, let alone entire games dedicated to them. It's not that I refuse to participlate, I'm just worried about the low marks I'll get, since I have no idea how to play most of these sports. XD

I'm finally done my first semester at school. I've just written my first three exams ever on wednesday and frday, and my fourth is on tuesday. Really, I don't see what the big deal is about exams. They were easy as hell for me. Then again, it's just my first year of high school.
Anyway, back to the stuff you people actually care about, I got a job as a spriter in Gamerguy's project, Sonic adventure; Remix. It's frigging awesome so far. You should really check out the demo he's got. The best 2D sonic engine I've ever played. ( [link] )
Also, I had to reformat my computer, yet again. I tried to get a stick of ram in there, and it ended up frying my ATI Radeon 9800 video card. ; ;

Wait a second... Easy as hell? If hell is supposed to be a punishment, then I don't see how it would be easy... I should have said "Easy as heaven." Unless I meant "Easy as getting into hell" but then I'd have to do something horrible... Ah well, I guess it's just a saying.

Well, my harddrive is mostly back on track. Just need toreinstall most of my stuff, like Flash and Photoshop. In other news, I've finally got a working wireless router, so I can play MKDS online. It introduces a character, and is the first page to have proper dialogue.

I've made some more Kaosu Emeru no Story pages, but haven't had time to upload them... Well, it. I've made one more. The project's going a lot slower than I thought it would. I've learned some neat particle effects in 3DsMax, and the only thing I could associate them with was blood, so expect some gorey scenes from me soon. (I've also found a texture that looks like cow organs XD)

I just got back from a 2 week vacation in Apsley. (I highly doubt any non-canadians here know where that is) It was pretty fun. I finally got to try donkey konga and Metroid prime on GC, so it was worth it.
I've got the script to CE and Monker's first REAL episode done. I just need a model and a voice actor for Aero, and I've almost got both.
My birthday was last week and I got a Pen tablet. It's awesome. Expect way cooler art from me now.
I'm also going to See Fantastic Four today in theatres. That should be fun.

As you can, see, I've decided to do a journal every weekend. It'll be a new record if I can actually manage to keep this promise, but hey, I've worked miracles before.

I've finally got the internet on my home comp, but the only available connection in my area is dialup, so I can't go on often. I'll still be fine on weekends though.
