RATCHET AND CLANK: A CRACK IN TIME ON THE PS3! YAY SO HAPPY!

Remember those beasts of presents? Well, it turns out they were TVs. Not just any tv, but a FRIKIN 26 INCH HD TV! AND A DVD PLAYER TO GO WITH IT! So, this is pretty big. My brothers and I grew up with only having one tv to share and we were never allowed to have a TV in our rooms. Having one in each of our rooms is mind-boggling.

I did have one problem with the movie. But I can't say it because I don't want to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it. but for those who have, I think you have an idea what I'm talking about. That one scene and the fact that you could feel that it was a 3 hour movie. But the original story, the graphics, and EVERYTHING made up for it.. Except that one scene.

I loved the movie in 3D, and I would love to see it again normally. 3D gives me a headache if I'm watching a movie that's longer than 3 hours.

1.) Shadowman, aka Dr. Facilier (Played by Keith David). He just became one of my favorite Disney Villains. He's just awesome. And his voice is sexy (Sorry, Arkigul, but I just had to say it. >//>; ).He's not that bad of a singer either, really.

2.) The music. I was surprised that there wasn't a lot of singing in this movie. But the songs in the movie were really good. Especially the scene with the Shadowman when he's trying to move the plot along. (My Friends on the Other Side).

3.) Tiana (Played by Anika Noni Rose). She has what I think the best moral going for her: You have to work for what you want and you will get what you want with hard work. And she's not your typical "I'm a princess! Someone Save me!" princess. She's just awesome.

4.) Prince Naveen (Played by Bruno Campos). He's not your typical prince "knight in shining armor". And he just... Naveen.

5.) Charlotte LaBouff (Played by Jennifer Cody). She's just funny and reminds me of me when I'm on a sugar rush mixed with lack of ADD meds and a drop of Monster energy drink. She's supposed to be annoying, but she just comes off as really funny and chatty. And a bit annoying.

But unfortunately, every good movie has its downsides. Here are some elements that I didn't like about the movie.

1.) It's so stereotypical that it hurts. It's painful for me to see that every black person in the movie likes gumbo, catfish, banana foster's and jumbalaya, and is in love with jazz, along with the Cajuns as well. Yikes. And you can totally tell that other than the main cast, everyone that worked on this movie is practically white. Not good, Disney, not good!

2.) Lawrence (Played by Peter Barlett). His actor either didn't do a good job, or he was trying too hard to act like Timothy Spall. It didn't help that he look just like Timothy Spall as well. Personally, Timothy Spall should have played Lawrence, not this dude since he was trying to be like him. It's not cool when you have actor try to act like someone else and miserably failing to do so.

And finally,

3.) The lack of appearances of Shadowman. He's the main villian, yet you barely see him throughout the entire movie. He's too awesome to not be seen often! I mean, granted, some characters need to have some time off screen, but they gave him too much time off than they gave him time on screen.

So! You have my reasons. Yay! Expect one for the movie "Avatar". I'm dying to see that one! See you guys soon!

I'm thankful for nature not having me sick this year. This is honestly the first time in my life where I can eat food and be able to taste it.. But then nature thought it would be best if my wisdom teeth started to grow in two days ago instead of me being sick. But hey, I'm glad that I'm able to TASTE food this year.

I'm thankful for my strong, loving, gigantic, and supportive family. Yay family!

I'm thankful for having caring parents when I sliced myself twice with a bread knife slicing bread for my mom's amazing bread stuffing. (I think most people would consider this a fail as I do, since I sliced my right thumb and my right index finger. Ow.)

Thankfully, I didn't ave to go to the hospital for the last reason.

I'm also thankful for my pets, even though one is... very special and wakes me up in the middle of the night jest because he was barking at nothing. Yeah.

I'm thankful for my friends. They have been very supportive with whatever I do, even if it isn't the world's greatest ones.

And food. I'm thankful for food.

2.)I'm doing another project for photography, dealing with the deep and shallow depth of field. And since I'm doing half and half (half film and half digital) half of the project will be in digital. So, the shallow depth of field will be digital, since my film camera doesn't have a zoom feature.

3.) Three Saturdays from now, I will be no longer be 18. My birthday is coming up! Huzzah! *happy dance*

I might not also be putting stuff up because of school. College is awesome, but if you have to read a shitton of different books all at once, then yikes. Not going to do well if I just focus on DA.

And one last reason I might be able to put stuff up is because my family is in the middle of moving from one county to another and it is tiring. Then you throw in school and you can be super-ultra tired. And the heat really doesn't help. So in other words, I will be pretty tired to do ANYTHING after school and doing homework.


Other than that, I will try to post up my classwork up here. I might, I might not. It all depends how school and trying to move works our for me.

And I will be putting up pictures now because I found my adapter AND my camera charger! WHOOHOO! But Now I need to deal with an extra charger on the way. We already bought it and it's on its way here.. Fuun..

Unfortunately, I didn't really take many pictures from ComiCon because I was quite over-whelmed with what they had and and who was there. For those who really want to know how my day went and have time to read a long-ass journal, here it is!

Ok. My dad, my big brother and I went to ComiCon at around 10:30 after we ate breakfast. BAD IDEA! There wasn't any parking whatsoever. People had to park AT MINIMUM 20 minutes away from the convention center. So we spent... about 20 minutes looking for parking. Then my dad just said, "hop off out here and I'll go look for parking while you guys get ahead and start your day here." We just went with it because he wasn't too happy. You don't mess with my dad if he's feeling any negative moods. o_o

Thank God we had printed out our tickets. The line for getting the tickets was fucking ridiculous. Seriously. Anyway, when my brother and I went in and got our badges,(which was insanely fast, by the way) guess who we saw.

the MythBusters.

Yeah, you read that right. THE FUCKING MYTHBUSTERS! Jamie Hynaman (I think that's how you spell his last name) and Adam Savage. Right there. In front of us. Signing autographs for $20! But there was a catch. You had to get tickets and WIN IN A DRAWING! What's even better, there were no more tickets. So for a while I was genuinely disappointed and upset. Really upset.

For a while that tarnished my day until I got a zombie t-shirt. The people who were working at the zombie stand were AWESOME. They really did cheer me up and I felt somewhat better. But I had hope when I saw that they had a TrueBood Panel. Being a fangirl of the show, I freaked out jumping up and down shaking my poor big brother like a maniac and kinda scaring him in the process.

When my dad came back, I had asked him. Originally, he said no because we had to get back early. Then I felt like the rest of my day was shot. It wasn't until a few hours later my mom (she went to Sea World with my little brother) and convinced my dad that I should go because it would be a once in a life time to see this cast in person. That made my day!

While we were wandering around, a writer and his friend who was an artist noticed my bro's Spiderman t-shirt and got him to come over to look at some commissions for other people. They had said that they enjoyed doing OG characters the most and I got them to draw my superhero (remember the collab that and I are doing? I got them to draw her!) and she came out looking FANTASTIC! Other than a few wardrobe malfunctions, it was amazing. I was worth paying $20.

It wasn't until around 2:00 that I started to head up to check for the TrueBlood panel line until I saw the Mythbusters still there. I just let out a heavy sigh and found a spot and took what I like to call a "stalker picture" You guys will see it when I get it up here. There was a security guard at the railing where I was when I tok the picture. Him and I had a chat and I told him about what happened earlier. Then he made the world's best offer:

He offered me that he would get Jamie and Adam over to me to talk and take a photo op with them.

And what did the genius me do? I declined it. Yup. You read that right. I FUCKING DECLINED THE OFFER! Why? Because I wanted to be polite and sincere to them and didn't want to take up their time since they looked like they were in a hurry.

What I didn't notice was the elite (that's what the security was called) had the button on his walkie-talkie pressed the whole time so that the other elite would hear me declining the offer. And what did I get?


A smile and a thumbs up from Jamie and Adam. They really liked my reasoning with my decline apparently. And what did I do? I just stood there, open-mouthed and wide-eyed like an idiot. They love my response since they were laughing at me. I was so happy that I didn't know whether to a total fangirl and scream or to just keep standing there with my face the way how it was. Luckily, I went with the second option.

I have to say, that elite really, REALLY made my day.. Really did..

I'll be taking pictures with what battery power I have left, but I won't get my charger for a looong time. It seems that I have to order my charger because Sony doesn't like making generic camera battery chargers for my battery. Greeeat.

I might be going to Sea World or San Diego Wild Animal Park as well. Maybe one or the other, or maybe not to either of them at all. I'm really, really hoping that we go to one or the other. >_>

1.) I lost my camera charger. My camera battery is amazing, but it can only last for so long. And my camera is dead. No camera charger, no new pics. It looks like I might have to buy another one already. -_-

2.) I have lost an adapter that transfers my pictures from my memory card. even though my camera came with something similar of its own, I can't find the damn box. So yeah. No adapter, no new pictures.


Even though the remodeling itself is done, everything is still packed up and I'm afraid that my charger and the adapter are boxed away IN STORAGE with some of my stuff that I really don't need.


Sorry guys! No new pictures for a really long time. How long, who knows?

My family is planning on moving.. soon.




Good news, I'll be where I am for the summer and spend awesome time with people and I'm not moving out of state nor out of reach from where I live currently.



Bad news, I might have to change schools, and all of that wonderful crap and I have no idea where I'll be moving to.



That means, I have might have packed my stuff to transfer my pictures from my new godly baby of a camera to my computer because I can't find it. We're not moving yet, but we are packing so we can have the WHOLE INTERIOR OF MY HOUSE REPAINTED.

Once the painters have finished with what they are here for( which will be in about a week. That means I have to be awake and dressed by 7:00 IN THE FUCKING MORNING! NOT happy with that!), I will unpack and find the goddamn thing. THEN I will be able to put stuff up.

HOLY SHIT. O_O

Not only does graduation closes one chapter and starts a new chapter in life, but that also means presents.

What I got was a serious upgrade for my camera.

Yeah, that's right. I got a new camera for graduation!

I went from a Sony 7.2 Mega Pixels Cybershot camera to a Godly 12.1 Mega Pixels Cybershot. It's a TOUCHSCREEN! It also has HD (1080 for still pictures), HD movie (720p) and a whole bunch of other stuff that will be VERY useful for me such as anti-blur, 4x zoomage, and face detection. And it will fit into my pocket! Oh, happy day!

Well, with my new darling, expect some AWESOME pictures!

So, I have serious jet-lag.. The only thing I don't like about traveling.

1.) I'm NOT a blogger. Period. I will only use my journal to make announcements that are usually important, like if I'm going to be gone or something happened. Think of my journal entries as bulletins.

With that out of the way, I might as well introduce myself.

I'm Celina and I'm 18. I'm a senior in high school and I have a passion for mainly one thing: Music. I love to sing. I have been singing since I was 9 years old, and I love singing so much that I'm my high school "Varsity Voices" choir, and have been in a varsity choir since freshman of high school. Go me.

The new passion that I have discovered a few years ago is that I love taking pictures of mainly nature or human nature. That does NOT mean Nude photography. I know that art is as its best when raw, pure and natural, but taking a picture of someone in their birthday suit is just too weird and awkward for me. What I mean by "human nature" is that a person or a group of people are being, well, natural or acting normally. With that, all of my pictures will NOT, you heard me (Or read if you want to be a smartass about it), NOT be edited, altered, or tampered with in any way possible. I think that photo shopping it would ruin the true nature, beauty, and quality of the picture.

For hobbies, I also love to read, play video games, and a new addition to the games is World of Warcraft. I like being on the internet in general (Who doesn't?) And I like to watch educational channels, such as Investigation Discovery, anything Discovery, Food Network, and the Biography channel. When it comes to cartoons, You'll seem me mainly watching Cartoon Network Nickelodeon, or anime.

Personality wise, I am a pretty mellow, loud (As in I have a loud voice, not obnoxiously loud), sarcastic (Don't take me too seriously, unless you have a feeling that I'm serious. Go with your instincts. It'll help) and brutally honest person. The only things that I have is a quick temper and that I'm a little impatient. Just as long you don't say anything about my friends, family, that stuff to me, then I'll be a generally happy person. I have a pretty damn short attention span, but don't worry about that. That's why there's modern medicine! All in all, I'm a pretty chill person.
