I think this is the third time I've done this now? Have I run out of ways to answer these?? Well, let's just look at a few things running through my mind right now.

1. I only just noticed the little cake icon in the top right corner of my page... Well, it's no lie. I will be celebrating my birthday on September the 9th. Sounds like some kinda weird prophecy, doesn't it? On the ninth day of the ninth month of the ninth year of the new millenium, the Chazen One shall attain unimaginable power spanning two decades...

2. Anyone notice my icon put on the pounds? It's the same basic design, but I've refined it some to reflect a fuller, more rounded shape. This is the design I'll be sticking with, not quite as sharp as the last. More attractive this way, no?

3. I got a new tablet recently as you may have read on my last submission. It's given me a little bit of trouble... But apparently, as long as I don't touch Windows Live's Handwrite feature to draw something, I should be okay, since that seems to be triggering this very irksome little glitch in which each stroke attempts to be read as a right-click... Be wary, Bamboo-users.

4. I'll go on and say this right now... I really don't know when this comic will be completed. I said February initially under the premise that I'd be using a very swift inking method, but this one is far more meticulous in nature and demands a careful touch. And I'm such a perfectionist that one page can take me a month just to ink. I'm only completing page six right now, out of ten. And then I have to tone it, panel it, and add text. Besides all that, my style is undergoing changes as I work on it, so I've ended up completely redrawing a few panels from the original sketch. I thought I'd have the completed product up before I turned twenty, but I don't see that happening. Please be patient. I can only hope the wait will be worth it. *awaits replies of "What comic?"*

5. My job just started paying me bi-weekly. I dunno what to think about that. Bigger payments are nice, but I'm getting the money all at once rather than once a week in the smaller amounts. Maybe I'll get plenty of birthday cash to compensate~?

6. Running out of things to say... Ermmm... Oh, anyone think I should do any fanart one day soon? I'm playing the Ace Attorney series through again, so I'm certainly considering that. Maybe Maya again, or Franziska, or that adorably helpless Adrian Andrews. Or would you prefer more original content? Looks like Lilliana may have to show off her tootsies more often, according to those poll results... Lemme know what you'd wanna see, it may "spur" me.

7. I haven't been excited to see any movies in like, fifteen years. The last one was probably The Lion King. But with the recent theater release of Hayao Miyazaki's latest, Ponyo, I'm about to jump out of my seat just to get a ticket. But there's only one theater within forty miles of this little city that's playing it, and of course, nooo idea how to get there. and I still plan to go see it, hopefully with if she can work it into her schedule. Wish us the best of luck that we can see it before the theater decides to pull it!!

8. I wrote a story some time ago, yanno, featuring my characters in their timeline. It was written to celebrate Mother's Day for my girl Kanasta, who learned a certain truth about her own mother. But I refrained from sharing it on dA, because I thought it might give away too much about her, more than I thought people ought to know just yet. But really, looking back, it's not all that bad since I keep sharing little tidbits and hints with everything I post. Hell, I already showed you Ku's face. But I also doubt many of you would read it in the first place. I find it hard to believe people aren't swarming to this account. It's the one and only Cheshire Cat! The very same man you knew from way-back-when who mingled in the TK community among such artists as Poisonous Monkey, Ozzy, and Scamwich! And he's come a long way! Cheshire and I met through the first edition of the S4 project, to which I was invited as a guest artist and newcomer to the scene. I think it really helped me get out there, so I have to thank him for that. He's also a terrific guy with a great personality. Thanks for everything, man.

Who the hell is this girl? She's certainly not a part of the TK community. But she is my friend. My best friend Sara, in fact. She lives right here in Owensboro, KY just a few blocks from my house, and we've been tight ever since high school. Sara's definitely a unique one with an art style unlike anything I've ever seen, constantly evolving and rarely consistent, but still appealing and enjoyable to look at. So I went down to have my taxes done today, hoping to see just how big a return I could get. Brought my W-2's along and all that necessary stuff. Admittedly I didn't focus much on that, seeing as the girl helping me through it was absolutely adorable and within my age range. But my eye immediately turned to the task at hand when she went through all the forms and calculated just how much money I'd be getting back. And here it is...



$1,179!?! WHERE DID ALL THAT SUDDENLY COME FROM. I accumulated that much extra throughout the year?? SWEET JESUS, THERE IS A GOD. And as you can see by her note, I ought to be getting all this back by the twentieth! HOT DAMN!! I feel better already!

Well now, onto the aforementioned "other updates"...

Been wondering whatever happened to that comic I asked you guys about? Not to worry, it's being inked now. But it's taken me some time to work on it at all, since my computer's situated in the living room in my house where everyone can see it from just about every angle. But I have good news! I recently received a "new" computer from my great-uncle, one of my very own. This one's situated in my bedroom, so I have a new level of privacy to myself and my artwork. YES. It's also got a massive 25" widescreen monitor. That's 1920x1200 pixels. Just how huge is that?

THIS huge.

The workspace for Photoshop is so wide I'm practically drooling. And with this new privacy, I should hopefully be more productive. I may have failed to have the comic completed in February like previously stated, due to the location of my computer and the method I've chosen to ink it. But March? Well I damn sure hope so. Any later and I'm gonna be downright ashamed of myself.

Kanasta d'Alegría!

The poll ended with Kanasta being just shy of having a third of the vote, making her the winner. Admittedly, I'm actually flattered! Kanasta's been my number one girl from the beginning, here since I started the account, and from the way it looks, enough of you people actually care to see more of her! But since I'm so pleased with the results, I've decided to make this occasion extra special. As of right now, I've started on the sketch for the third page of the comic. And it isn't the last, by far. I'm expecting this comic to end up with at least ten pages by the time it reaches a conclusion! I can't promise tickles on every page, but there's quite a bit of feet to be seen right from the start, so I don't think you'll be disappointed! It's not like I've got many work hours lately, so I'll be drawing more to this every chance I get. We ought to see it up here and completed in February!

I haven't got a clue where to start D: I mean, even if I do anything with CSS, what theme would I follow? I'm thinking maybe I should start by making a poll.. But what should it be about?

Thanks to the economy, we've had bad business at work lately. I work for Nabisco as a part-timer, stocking stores like Wal-Mart and Kroger with different products like Ritz and Oreos and all that. The past two weeks, I've only worked four days total. But things are looking up! I've got a four-day workweek this coming week, starting Monday. If things don't shape up quickly, I might have to turn to commissions.

AND I REALLY DON'T WANT TO DO THAT RIGHT NOW.

I am working on new stuff, though. Well, a few old things that I started back in '08 that never got finished, but there's some fresh 2009 material on its way, too. If my schedule doesn't get any better, what else can I do but draw, really? We'll see how things go.

People who know about my other account should know all about me, goddamn. So I'mma change this around, and tell you things about my characters, because they're the people you see all the time anyway.

1. I created Kanasta in my sophomore year of high school. At the time, she was all I had in my repertoire for this kind of artwork. Yes, she even came before Chaz. You can see the very first sketches of her riiight here. Amazing how much styles change in three years, huh? She looks about sixteen here.. Which makes some sense, seeing as that's the age at which she actually meets Chaz, when the "fun" starts.
2. Regina, one of my most popular characters, was created shortly after last year's S4 project debuted. Admittedly, I kinda wanted another girl in my team for the next year, but I had no idea how close I'd grow to her. She represents my love of rock music, as well as embodying my foot fetish. You could say she's a perkier, more spontaneous, female version of myself.
3. Little Lilliana is my shameless admittance in that I still adore the smaller ladies. She's only eighteen because, well, I think a lot of you would feel guilty looking at her in the situations I've placed her in if she weren't a legal adult. But her backstory supports her appearance. Living a very sheltered life due to her condition, she was unable to grow and mature like most girls her age. Will she always remain this way? It's very possible. But I think she could very well mature into a beautiful young woman now that she's opened up more.
4. D's true name is a well-kept secret between her and her closest friends. I don't think even Regina knows. Kanasta keeps it hush-hush because she respects her. But all D has to do is make a lewd comment about Kanasta's name meaning "basket" and that thing'll be all over the Internet. Kanasta r srs latna. This is srs bsnss.
5. Regina's foot fetish is not inherent. A very awkward reunion between herself and Kanasta brought it about in her. I won't go into the details (since you can find them out yourself if you know where to look~), but more or less, she was tickled absolutely silly and lost her composure. The only thing she could see in front of her were Kanasta's feet. Things pretty much went from there... with an incredibly mortifying end result on Regina's part. But she's now very proud of what she has, and seeks to exploit it when she can, even if she's performing on stage in front of hundreds.
6. Would you believe Lilliana has a foot fetish? You probably wouldn't; not even she is aware of it. Some years ago, what I can only refer to as a "magical mishap" resulted in a subconscious fixation in feet that Lilli has yet to discover. When exposed to a pretty pair for a long period of time, she will gradually go unconscious, another part of her taking over and resulting in some pretty heavy worship. She can't break free from this, and isn't finished until she's... "finished", really. And when that happens, she falls asleep, with no recollection of what occurred after going unconscious. But there are ways of breaking her out of it, even when she's on the edge.
7. Ku Chi Kurenai. No doubt the most mysterious of my characters with so little exposure. She was inspired almost entirely by my featured image. That's right, the chieftain tickling away at Kanasta's pretty feet is Ku herself, in a more or less prototype form. She's undergone a few subtle changes and additions to her design, but the similarities are still there. Ku is a sorceress hailing from the island of Tiki-Toa, as chieftain of her people. She has expressed much interest in Kanasta and her friends, but seems to have something against Chaz. After all, she is the one who placed him in that form in the first place. But there's more that's gone on between those two than even she is willing to admit.
8. Kanasta is a proud woman with curves that can kill. She may give off the impression that she's a pampered princess with no interests other than her own, but talk with her once and you learn that she's nothing like the look she gives off. Sure, she's proud of her body, there's no wrong in letting people see your hard work. 1. Might as well spill the beans since I've been holding this alias for over a year now. ~Chaz-the-Weasel is not my first and only deviantART account. It was created for one reason and one reason only: as an outlet for my foot and tickle fetish art. My true account is under the name of ~chaosstriker89, which a few of you are already watching, interestingly enough. I wonder how many of you actually caught the connection? I made this account in secret so that the 200+ watchers of ~chaosstriker89 wouldn't be upset by it, since I'm quite sure a lot of them don't care to see it. Regardless, I've become much more comfortable with my quirk, and don't mind sharing my secret with you guys now. In due time, I'll let the watchers of my other account know of the existance of Chaz.

2. My taste in music is extremely varied. I listen to anything and everything regardless of genre. If it sounds good to me, I'll listen to it. But the genres I absolutely cannot stand are hip-hop and country. There are the rare few that I do actually like, but these come once in a blue moon. Typically I'll be caught listening to classic rock or videogame music. But really, give me anything with a lot of hard rock guitar in it and I can almost promise I'll fall in love with it.

3. How did I get into this foot and tickle fetish business in the first place? I have no doubt in my mind: it's because of my nextdoor neighbor. Or my ex-nextdoor neighbor, rather. After a certain episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I actually became scared to death of tickling. I don't know what underhanded plot she had in mind, but one day soon, she came to my house with some rope, took me into my room, and asked that I tie her up and tickle her feet. If she was trying to get me over my fear, it worked; we began doing this on an almost daily basis. And it's because of that that as I grew older, it evolved into a fetish.

4. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. My first drawings were typically the things I was assigned to draw in school around kindergarten, but as I grew older, I found joy in creating the images I was making, and kept up with it. My first tickle pic was drawn when I was about seven or eight years old. It saw the light of day for about two hours before I caved and threw it away for fear that it might be found. In middle school, I got into the Sonic franchise again, and drew several tickle pics featuring the SegaSonic girls. These were all lost, however, when I once again grew fearful and threw the entire notebook away. Sorry, guys. I regret it just as much as you do.

5. I love videogames. They have long influenced my work. You can see definite Sonic influences in the design for Chaz. In fact, long before I ever joined deviantART, Sonic fanart was all I ever drew. Which means I only just learned to draw humans maybe six years ago. I'd say I've made quite a bit of progress seeing as now, they're all I draw. I do want to do more Sonic art eventually, though. I'll see to it that Brawl helps me there.

6. My style is also quite influenced by the anime I watch. Pokémon was the first anime I ever saw, and got me to try drawing in the style in the first place. Since then, though, I've been trying to develop my own style, adding western cartoon and comic influences into the mix, which has apparently become quite recognizeable. Even so, people see more anime influences than western in my work, and as such, I categorize it under Manga & Anime.

Well okay, so it isn't OFFICIALLY summer, but damnation, it's going to be in just a few days, isn't it? This year's blowing my faster than most, for me, at least. It hasn't been the best.. Rough times a-plenty, personal stuff and all that jazz, but nothing I'll bother you guys with. On the brighter side of things, I graduated from high school just last month, so that might have something to do with things going past me so quickly.. This freedom is AMAZING. But short-lived. I'll have to be looking for a job soon, and come fall, I'll have to see if I can get into a community college so I can get the basic skills I need to make it out there.

To be honest, this journal is to let you know that I'm not dead yet, and of course, still drawing, albeit mostly simple sketches and whatnot, since I LOST MY GLASSES... All the same, I am working on something big for the summer, something that I'm sure you're all to enjoy. I'm not giving anything away yet, but you can take a look at my latest Scrap if you want to know who I'll be featuring in this fun little series. Until next time, guys, I'll be seein' ya!

Forgive my horridly painful inactivity, my friends, I have not forgotten good ol' deviantART. I appreciate the constant flow of comments, favorites and pageviews that I've been getting daily; I'm coming close to 3,000 already. I am happy to report that despite my silence, I am still here, and I've recently had a lot lifted from my load. That's right, I'm ready to start again.

So here's what's going on. First, I've still got that trade with *MrsHyuga, who's apparently already inked her half and is ready to color it (I never told you to color it, woman!!). I've also gotten a request from ~magical-aimee if you don't remember. Next up, the popular ~Umojar and I are also involved in a trade; I shall draw One Piece's Nami for his rendition of Kanasta. I also may have a request coming from ~PandaJenn, so we'll see how that all pans out when she responds to my Note. To stay fair, all of these pieces will be done in order by date request received. Sorry to keep you guys waiting so long, I recently joined the ATF and the people there seem to like me quite a bit. Maybe I'll become more active? I have a trade that I have to do with ~MrsHyuga, I draw her Giggles in return for her drawing Kanasta, and ~magical-aimee gave me a nice idea for a draw, too, so I'll see if I can have one of those up before October kicks in. We'll see what happens!!

I want to take this opportunity, though, to make a bit of an announcement. It's not very often that I'll actually take requests, so don't ask me for something expecting instant gratification. However, I WILL listen to any ideas you may have. Inspiration can be hard to come by, but if I have people with ideas in their heads willing to share them with me, there's a good chance something you say might stick around in my head, and you very well could be seeing your idea posted on this account.
