2008 has been a great year for me, but it went faster than ever! I've had lots of fun this year and I think I can honestly say that this was one of the best years ever!

So many things have happened this year, I'm not sure where to start.. Oh, how about January 1st? xD

- It's the day I took on the '100 pictures challenge' , or 'Mission Impossible X, M X'. I know I only finished about 4 of them, but whatever, I had fun doing them and I'll be sure to do some more next year ;;

- I wrote quite a bit of my story, Monogatari no Ryokou Sha. Not a lot has been uploaded yet, but it's coming along nicely. I'm also thinking of making an animanga of it, meaning I'll make manga pages with animations for each frame or picture. I also found out my story looks a LOT like the film "The Seeker: The Dark is Rising". Oh well, I got over it xD

- 2008 was also the year in which Greed Island made a huge jump forward in terms of development. It's starting to take shape and, in fact, the online part and the Avatar Creation System are almost done.
- I got my 1500 pageviews milestone this year, yay!! xD And then I got 96 or 97 in one day, I still don't know why, but whatever

- I tried out so many new and different things this year! I found out I like 3D modeling (though I'm still kinda suckish at that), I tried some different styles (thought most didn't make DA...) and I think I'm getting better at drawing and giving shapes to things in general.

And last, but CERTAINLY not least...

- I GOT MY MILEY-OBSESSION THIS YEAR! *shot, killed, shot again*

Oh come on, y'all know ye like her xD Anyway, sorry for this slightly corny journal, but meh

WHERE ARE ALL THESE VIEWS COMING FROM?! xD
Seriously, just yesterday I got my 1500 pageviews milestone (which I happened to capture without realizing it) and today I have 1607 views and counting! Seriously, where DO you come from? o.o

Ok, moving on.. I've restarted working on Greed Island seriously and it's coming along pretty nicely. So far, this is what we (me and Wouter) have working:
- Map linkage and interaction (aka: you can walk around and interact with the map). Hooray!
- Chat System. (Sort of, we have a working Local Chat and a seperate file for other channels such as the Help Channel and Market Channel.)

What we still need:
- USD $1800,- for an OpenSpace License xD (Any sponsors? Seriously...)
- A Battle System. (Any suggestions on the type?)
- A Shop/ Market System.
- Working cards.

We are currently focusing on making some different maps and a Market System. After that comes the Battle System and with it some working cards.
