Take a pleasant a stroll down the malecon, or sit and watch how huge ships come and leave the port. Do not forget to visit the Gran Café de la Parroquia, place where the natives have been visiting for more than a century to drink the delicious Veracruz coffee.

South of the malecon you find the aquarium, the biggest and best equipped from Latin America, outstands an impressive shark exhibit. Another enjoyable visit is touring the San Juan de Ulua fortress built 500 years ago. This impressive and rich in history place, was built to defend the city, but after some time, it became a high security prison.

Veracruz

Veracruz is known mostly for the fiestas en febrero that they hold every year. They are an industrious port that is located on the golfo de mexico. También ellos tienen una historia rica y una cultura fascinante. Mi favorito area es delante de golfo de mexico. Veracruz spans 71,699 km and is ranked 11th in area. It also has a population of 7,110,214 people and is ranked 3rd in Mexico.


Guadalajara

The original town of Guadalajara was founded on January 5, 1532 by Crístobal de Oñate, who had been commissioned by Nuño de Guzmán. It consisted of 42 inhabitants, on the Mesa del Cerro, near the border of Nochistlán in the province of the Teúl, today known as San Juan. The name Guadalajara was chosen after the birthplace of Nuño de Guzmán in Spain. The town lasted for only a short time at this site. Guzmán, Crístobal de Oñate, Miguel de Ibarra and Sancho Ortiz decided to relocate to a place where there would be more water, fewer dust storms and better transportation. They began the project on May 19, 1533 and by August 8, 1533 they had moved the town to it's second location, near Tonalá. Two years later, in March 1535, they again moved the town to a new location. On November 8, 1539 the emperor Charles V granted to Guadalajara a coat of arms and the new title of City. After an large attack by natives on September 28, 1541, during the War of the Mixtón, they decided once more to relocate the city to a more defensible location. They chose Guadalajara's present location, in the valley of Atemajac, along the San Juan de Dios river. The current city of Guadalajara was founded at this site by Crístobal de Oñate on February 14, 1542, by Royal decree of King Charles V. During the Colonial era, Guadalajara became the capital of Nueva Galicia and after the War of Independence it became the capital of the Intendencia of Guadalajara.
Guadalajara in the 20th century
The Porfiriato was finished and Mexican revolution exploded. Guadalajara was calm at least (because the conflict was runing more towards the capital). After the cristero conflict peace returned to Guadalajara. For a long period the city bloomed and it was developed in diverse points, the medium and big companies emerged and the areas around the residential nucleus that began to grow from the colony were born and therefore the new architectonic concepts which would decorate the city with styles from years 1920 to the '80. The city passed through several structural plans during every government period, where new zones and commercial areas were born, and the creation of transnational companies as well as the arrival of international industries came to the city. The first commercial centers appeared, which also were among the first being constructed in the country and Latin America. The city began to expand quickly until finding the territorial union with the municipality of Zapopan. The most important developments were created during this period: Expo Guadalajara, Light Train, commercial centers, hotels, the expansion of streets and avenues, and the birth and development of the road infrastructure, services, tourist and industrial infrastructure. Guadalajara was growing quickly until it became the industrial, tourist and commerce headquarter of the country, and the second economy in Mexico after the national capital (Mexico City). This development so accelerated was stopped by events like the explosions of April 22 of 1992, where hundreds of houses, avenues, streets, companies and infrastructure were damaged seriously, leaving losses calculated in a billion dollars, in one of the most tragic events in the history of Guadalajara. I am tired of one of the people that I call friend. She has fucked with the guy that I am in love with and can't have because he has a girl friend. Then when I find someone that I like she fucks with him too. I fucking tired of it. I have confronted her twice already. Once for the guy I love with all my heart and then with the guy I like. When I confronted the guy I love he was freaking out so bad he was going to have a break down and almost did. He regretted ever talking to her when I wasn't on and she is now on his ignore list on MSN and Yahoo. Now.... I sent a message telling her to fucking back off of him.... Because... I can read her messages on Gaia, because I have her password.

Stop fucking around with ~. I may be IN love ~, but he has a girl friend, so I can't do anything about that. But when I find a guy that actually likes me on here and that I kinda like too. The lower abdomen and two thighs of an unknown Caucasian male were discovered by walkers in the park Friday at 5:30 p.m. local time, and police sources for the newspaper said that the body parts were left no more than six hours before the discovery. There was no clothing, personal effects, or identification besides the two paper sheets. The two paper sheets reportedly had the same message, but were written in two different colors with no apparent signs of aging. Duden Park is located on east side of the Senne River Valley.

Belgian police are requesting that anyone who saw suspicious behavior on Friday between 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. near or at the park to call the Belgian phone number 02/559.80.00.

Update: According to the newspaper, the lower abdomen comes from an unknown Caucasian male, but it is unknown whether the two thighs belong to the same individual. Thank you to woelfie for the news tip.


The Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg reported on November 24 that the police have no concrete leads in the two-month-old case of body parts found near notes linked to the Death Note manga. On September 28, two hikers found a human torso and two thighs in Duden Park in the city of Saint-Gilles. Police later determined the shaven parts came from a Caucasian male individual. No identification or personal effects were found on the body parts, but two pieces of paper were found nearby with the same message in Roman capital letters: "WATASHI WA KIRA DESS." This is an apparent misspelling of the Japanese phrase "Watashi wa Kira desu," or "I am Kira (Killer)," that is used in Tsugumi Ooba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note suspense manga series.

The Belgian press have nicknamed the case "Mangamoord" ("Manga Murder" in Dutch), although the police officials emphasize that they cannot rule conclusively that the case was indeed murder. They also note that they have found no further connection between the manga and the case, despite the two notes. The circumstances of the real-life case were not similar to those of any fictional portrayal of death in the manga series.

Other leads in the case have also been fruitless. No missing person was reported whose description match the body parts. The only potential witness that has come forward was a jogger that said she saw a blond man lying down in the area where the body parts were discovered. However, she could not provide any more clues. The police initially concluded that the apparent victim was still alive no more than 48 hours before the hikers' discovery, but later acknowledged that the body parts could have been preserved by freezing, long before being left at the scene.

The police also initially hypothesized that this could be a prank by medical students, due to the almost surgical precision with which the body parts were cut and the discovery's timing, which coincided with the beginning of the school year in Belgium. However, the faculty of the medical department of the Free University of Brussels indicated that it would be improbable for missing parts from classroom cadavers or the moratorium to have gone unnoticed. The police have not ruled out the possibility yet.

The police also hypothesized that this might be the work of a psychopath, particularly since there were five unsolved murders of women in the Belgian city of Mons (Bergen in Dutch) between 1996 and 1997. However, there have been no similar incident since September, and the police have not announced a concrete link with the earlier cases in Mons.

Reno was almost at the bus stop when he came across a love cake, lying alone on a sad plate. "That must be a treat from my cheer bear," he said to himself, and tripped over to it. The cake looked drunk, so he ate it.

It gave him the most happy tingling sensation in his Face. "How unusual!" he said and continued tripping to see Rufus.

When Rufus came out to meet him, he took one look and fell over.

"What is it?" Reno cried slyly.

"Your stomach! And your leg!" Rufus said. "They're sex! Can't you feel it?"

Reno felt his stomach and his leg. They were indeed quite sex. "Oh, no!" Reno said. "I'm a woman!" He, or rather, she started to cry. "It must have been that love cake you left for me. Did you know what it would do?"

"Really?" Reno dried her tears. Reno kissed Rufus and it was an entirely mad sensation, like a rabbit it won't stop screaming until you leave it alone.

They spent the night having entirely mad sex, until the cake wore off suddenly.

Everything was rather awkward after that.

At my house the internet is not working which really sucks.

I will probably have to wait until this week end to get on, because we don't have virus protection anymore and or internet because the hook up thing that we got from the cable place went BAD.

It says that we are connected, but it won't connect because on the hook up.... well they are bring one today, but my dad has to get virus protection before he will let anyone on the computer!

Yeah...

They even double team me if one says something and I say okay in a minute. They say I don't do anything well I do they just don't pay attention at all. My dad doesn't get on to my bro and you know what?! HE IS 33 or 34 years old and he doesn't do anything all DAY!

They are bitching at me to do the bathroom when it is the bathroom with the shower and you know what they use it to and I can't see why my mom and dad don't tell my brother to do it! I mean he is here all day when my dad and him are not working out of town. How come he can't do it?! Hell he doesn't even mow the lawn the last time it was done I did it! When it was 95 degrees outside.

Pfft my family sucks. I can't wait until I go to college. They say "Ohh you don't know what it is like in the REAL world." Or their favorite, "What are you going to do work at a fast food restaurant for the rest of your life?" Pfft neither of them has their college degree and aren't getting it anytime soon. My mom didn't even get her High school one and I think my dad got one since he was in the Navy and had to take college level (which are standard high school sophomore classes now) in math, science, and history.

I am getting my college degree. I am making the grade! Hell I was in the top 10 freshmen last year when school ended! With a 4.0 GPA score! The only reason I say top 10 is because I had 2 B's and the others either had one B or all A's. Now I am a sophomore and it is making my parents sad that I am growing up. My dad says I shouldn't be in this grade which is true I should be a Junior this year if I had started in a different state. But no... I am a sophomore....
