Did you guys ever asked yourself about the reason why you would leave dA?
Some people leave because they have beef with others. Some leave because they loose their interest etc.
For me it is very simple, the only reason why I would ever leave dA is the staff.

I don't know why, but they always disappoint me. And this are some of the reasons why:

1. I suggested pictures for DD for four times. The pictures were good, but they were never taken. The point is, that I did not even receive an answer like a simple:
"Thank you for the suggestion" or something. Imagine, I am not the kind of guy who is in contact with the staff every day. Every couple of month I send a note or something, than it would be nice to receive a least a little feedback.

2. I only reported a deviation once. It was a clear Nazi-Propaganda. It was not even tagged as 'mature content'. Two weeks later I received a note from the staff that my report was rejected as invalid. They couldn't find anything wrong here. I saw a lot of strange stuff here on dA. Nazi-stuff, computer animated pictures of young naked women being tortured and lots of other violent stuff and nobodies doing anything about it.
dA has a strong politic of never want to loose a customer.

3. During the high phase of the Ghaza conflict there was a lot of bullshit going on here. What did dA do about it: nothing. They were simply just watching it. Totally helpless or uninterested.

4. There is a virus spreading all over dA right now. I already received about 9 or 10 comments with that link. What is dA doing about it: nothing.
Leaving a short message in the forum: "Don't click on the link." (You can not even commend on this message.)

Like always, action comes from a deviant not from the staff.

5. During my time here I faced a lot of bugs. I know that this can happen and I don't have a problem with that. But I have a problem, when I don't receive any kind of information about it. These people always bomb you with news when there is a nice, new page-layout or something, but a general information about a bug. No, not here on dA.
Only spread the news when it is something good or some advertising stuff.

6. People say: "Oh, nice now I can see on my profile bar when my subscription will end. That is so nice, so I can not forget it." Come on! They changed the profile pages and now you can see on everywhere if you are a subscriber or not. Useless information on the profile bar. And than this stupid: Your Subscription gives you access to this awesome module!
If you not subscribed, means you are not a paying costumer, they let you feel it now everywhere on dA. When I check my second account, I always can't believe it, what is all limited here.

7. This people make money with everything. I have never seen an internet portal being so smart in making money. Customer support on the other hand is not really their strength. Here on dA I always feel like: be part of our community, spend some money, but don't make us any work, trouble and most important: don't criticise us.
