Well, technically, I still have to survive this semester first. That and I have to fill out my application and start packing for the big move cross-country. But asides from all that things are really looking up. Looks like I'm going to be pretty busy this year though. What with seeing that, asides from all that, I have work as well as my duty as Illustrations Editor for the Vingette.

I have underlings! Go me! An entire mini group of up and coming artists who are put strictly under my control! Mwahahahaha!

Also, definitely, certainly, 100% getting back into drawing my Dark Souls comic. 3rd page AKA the beginning of Chapter 1 is almost done so keep your eyes open for it.

As for classes, so far I've only been to one, but it's looking good. My Figure Drawing class instructor is this loudmouthed little old man who seems to enjoy screaming out "AMEN!" a lot. (I feel like I'm in a Gospel Church. But asides from that he seems like a good teacher. Spent most of the four hours of class talking about the definition of art. ....Seems how a lot of these art classes start out....

I started playing Final Fantasy 11 again. Got up to LVL48 Thief and LVL42 Monk. Made quite a few friends on the game. Been speaking to Nadia and Ani quite a bit and although I haven't participated on RP on my space much any more I still find time here and there to Enjoy myself with Saya and Ii Sou. Gyagh! A friend of mine who plays a Goku is coming over next week! I'm looking forwards to seeing her but I wonder if work will give me any time in order to do so. ;_; She's been so king to be sending me stuff from Japan (including the Saiyuki musical) And it will also be awesome to see Amber again as well.

Went upstate into the wilderness for a while two weeks ago and as you can all see I had time to work on some of my comic (finally, it's only been 8 years). I mostly blame Natasha for that though, seeing her after so long I'm suddenly inspired to start on my original stuff again. > If I don't start now I'll never complete the series before I die. (Yes, it's that long and agonizing.)

Asides from that nothing much. Classes start on Friday, and this is my last semester at Nassau. I already filled out and submitted my form for graduation, and start September I'm going to fill out my application for the Academy. IMMA GOIN TO CALLI! WOOOOO!

Thing was, due to personal reasons the third contender had to drop out of the contest. And due to the type of contest it is, unless everyone hands their project in, there's no way it can be completed. But just to satisfy you both, Darien, Ojoua drew your picture and here's the link. As for Ojoua your character was designated to the other contender so i shall draw them myself when I have enough time to, I promise you this. ANYWAY! Now for something completely different! I got hired for my first freelance photography shoot! Yaaaay! My first professional art job. Of course, despite my killer camera, I'm still an utter novice so I'm going out this weekend with a friend of mine who's a professional in the field in order to get some practice in. Thankfully my photo-shoot isn't until May~

So, yea, pretty happy about that. Also was thinking about applying for a summer internship over at Disney. Still gotta talk to the deans about that though. Asides from that everything else is pretty much concerning how much of a busy-body I am.

Between classes, work, writing up my comic, taking photos for the newspaper, and doing whatever it is Vice Presidents of Anime Clubs do I have a surprisingly large amount of free time. Go figure. And because of that have been absolutely HOOKED on perfecting Final Fantasy 7. Yea, you heard me, perfecting. Right now all my characters are lvl 80+, and I have completed all the mini games and got all the items asides from getting knights of the round with a gold chocobo (still only have a black T_T), Getting Clouds Omnislash (That battle square is freaking HARD), and defeating Emerald and Ruby Weapon.

...... I have no life.

XD And don't mind my fangirling for a bit here, but am I the only Hakkai fangirl absolutely AMAZED with the newest chapter of Reload. Guh! Damn why must you be imaginary! So cruel yet kick-ass-awesome at the same time.

Also have been busy as hell what with my new part-time-job added into the mix. In all truth I really like working at Micheals. The atmosphere is a really friendly one, and despite the fact that I'm working the night shift I enjoy spending my time there.

...I do miss having time to Role Play and waste my life on Video Games though. Although I have managed every now and then to sneak an hour into playing Final Fantasy 7. Woo! Only up to Wutai village in the 1st disk and Cloud is lvl 52! *Likes Leveling way too much*

:sigh: Classic games are so much more awesome then the games these days. I mean really! Where have all the cross-dressing men gone!? Doing good in the newspaper, although I seemed to have used the wrong type of font for my comic seeing as the letters really didn't print out all that well. But what can you do other then learn from your mistakes? (Will use a much better font for the next issue.)Also participated in the schools anime club once more. XD We pretty much chilled around fake dubbing that FF7 anime. "Ah Sephiroth! I just love how you plunge your sword into me! More! More!"

Now for the sillier things. Seems I've been on this site a lot more recently. Probably because unlike RP-ing recently it doesn't take up much time. Mostly seeing as, recently, I've been extremely short of that. Got the job at Michaels, late nights too. So switching from morning classes to night-time shifts and fitting in hour and a half bus rides because, dear-god, I have yet to gain hold of a drivers license, I have no time. The jobs good though. Much better then making cakes for Baskin Robins at least. The people there are bubbly and by the looks through the eyes of a new recruit, they all seem to act like a large-crafty-family.

Been playing Final Fantasy 7 again a lot also. Well, at least on the hour or two I have these days. My classes are going well too. XD The paper I wrote up last minuet for ENG102 that checked over for me got a B, which for my teacher, is a fairly high grade. (Has yet to see him give an A to anyone) . Japanese classes are fun despite being evening classes, and I'm obviously mastering in my Electronic Imaging course, and finally Bio101 is much simpler then I remember it being in High School.

Doing good in the school newspaper too. The images I snapped of the school play are being put up in the paper and were highly appreciated. Also working on the second issue of Chat Room. Came up with a few ideas too, actually its a shame that I'm going to have to wait a few weeks to develop the joke. (Poor Cassia) Also interview the Anime club today, asides from the one creepy Otaku boy I saw things appeared to be really fun. The head is also in the newspaper with me, and I already knew a few of the members. Some were in my Japanese 101 class while others I, strangely enough went to French with back in High School. They're planning on going to some big con down in Virginia, so maybe if I'm lucky and participate a little more I may acutely make it.

Asides from that everything normal. But then again, in my life, that's REALLY busy. Now... I believe I mentioned something about a tag:

It's been stuck in my head for a few days now and so I thought, "why the heck not"?

And so starts my first attempt at the "OC SWAP COMPETITION".

Being a member of DeviantArt we are all artists filled with an extensive amount of inspiration and ideas. Also, because of such many of us tend to have many stories or comics written out as well with your own OC's, or as more people know them as, Original Characters.

Also, if anybody is like me concerning such things, we love seeing fan-art of our OC's from other people. There's always something fun in just seeing your character in someone else's original style. This is what triggers the beginning of the competition--

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO:

Within the next two weeks I will be accepting applications for this project. Not all to complicated, just make up a written description of your own original characters appearance AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE. Drawings of said character nor any personal information about him (AKA name, what the series your making is called, etc.). You can though give hints on his personality as well, if you please. Submit it to me via IM, DEVART-Note, livejournal or youtube message, or e-mail with that characters name as a Title ONLY. Mainly, submit it to me any way in which no one else would see it.

WHAT HAPPENS ARFTER?

Here's the main project. After gaining every possible submission within the allotted time, I am going to randomly draw each description and hand them out.

In other words, if you submitted I'm going to hand you SOMEONE ELSES OC DESCRIPTION. And what you must do, simply enough, is draw out the description of their character as you read it. The descriptions will be handed out at random with equal fairness in hopes that none of you may know who's character you have gotten.

The due date for this segment will be exactly one month after I had out the descriptions. Plenty of time to get a fan-art finished. (After all I'm sure many of you have a life outside of this.) But please, try to put as much effort into this as you will any of your actual pieces, it would be depressing for the person whom that character belongs to if you don't at least try to give it your all.

You can use any medium you please with any means you please. The main thing is to just have fun and anticipate how other people may portray the character you have created!

Between work, school, friends, etc. etc. I've barely had any time to enjoy myself as of recently. (Also, laziness has to deal a huge part).

As I'm sure many of you have heard, I'm no longer in Parsons. The 18+ credits was something I was unable to bear. And now, instead am in the process of getting my Associates at Nassau Community. What does suck is that after all this time out of high-school I am only in my 2nd semester of collage.

Things have been going for the better though, at least that's what I think. I'm continuing my Art education, although thinking of switching over a illustration major rather then a technology design one. But, alas, no need to make such hasty decisions until I start going for my bachelors again.

Let me see...

The semesters been good so far. Continuing my Japanese as well as taking some of the less liked, more mandatory classes such as English 102 (again) and Biology 101. One class I've entered, that I'm sure you'll notice when browsing through my profile, is an Electronic Imaging class. Yes, yes, I know, I'm already a Photoshop wiz. But it's mandatory if I wish to take any of the "cooler" classes next semester.

Oh! Y-Con is coming up! Which mean I'll be traveling cross-country alone for my first time. Woo-hoo! Going to go visit Ani, AKA LonelyDragonsWish (don't mind me been away from DevArt so long I forgot how to show icons) at her new apartment in San Francisco. I'm just a little excited. Not to mention I'm in the process of making my Hakkai cosplay, and she's making Aizen one. Oh! I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun!

Also, I've joined the Vingette, NCC's newspaper committee as their photojournalist. Go figure the entire club is composed completely of Otaku. I'm enjoying myself quite nicely. And make a few friends too!

And I have decided, since I can't get my transcript yet that I'm gonna take this semester off to work full time an save up some more money.

Summer job has been okay. Got promoted to supervisor. Oh and for the good 3/4ths of the summer I came down with a case of mono. (Even though I felt perfectly fine). Think got it from my mom actually cause she says people at her job have been getting it. Maybe accidentally drank from one of her cups without knowing it. But yeah, I'm allowed to work and go out again.

And as I'm sure the world over knows another big highlight of tis summer had been subtitling the first episode of Saiyuki Burial. Must admit I got a big head over it. Especially today after seeing that [link] had advertised it on the Saiyki section of their website. Oh and the video got over 6K views over the past two months. *Big BIG head*

Now people are saying they want me to subtitle the Premium Saiyuki OVA for them. I know the first episode has subtitles but the second episode doesn't. Unfortunately though my Japanese is still rater poor. So I asked Nick to pull a few strings for me and gather some of his friends Japanese text books.

My summer job of Vending on the beach started once again for the summer. And yes I am very very sunburnt. My forehead, my cheeks, my lips, and my lower back. @.@ All burnt. And prom is in a few days too. @.@ I'm gonna be a wreck.

O_o She puts the weirdest images in my head sometimes. (Then again us together is weird in itself. We're both so random) So yeah, now that schools started up again I have much more time to draw. (AKA I draw in class a lot when I'm not supposed to)

Classes are pretty good. We started leaving the whole thing about web design (THANK YOU GOD I HATED IT!!!) and started gonig into the digital film and media section of the course.

^-^ I made a freind in my class by the name of Jon. he's pretty cool. Acctually I met him at ICon last year and i never thought we'd see eachother ever again after that. Who would have thought we'd end up gonig to the same collage and havign three classes together. (Hums its a small world).

Yeah, so listen up all you who wish to spend time with me! Here's my new schedual so you won't have to worry about conflicting with me.

Monady
Core 2: Time based Media- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM- This class assigned me to read Brokeback Mountain, watch the movie and then draw Storyboards for it. I love this class! Though I feel so sorry for all the guys in it as Brokeback Mountain is Constant Man-sex.

Tuesday
Technology Workshop- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM- This is my Lab class. If I have no clue what I'm doing in my Core Class I ask the teacher here for help. Mostly we'll be learning computer editing techniques it seems.
Gaming 101- 12:00 PM- 3:00 PM- XD BEST CLASS EVER! Here well learn the fundimentals of gaming and how to make a fun and proper game. XD We spent the entire day plaing a card game called "Assasin"! It was awesome! >.> Though for some reason I was always one of the first people to be killed off first.

Wednesdays
Core 2: Time Based Media- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM- the second class of the week dedicated to Core.
Design Lab 2: 3D Visual Arts- 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM- >.> No not the funfilled 3D on the computer. The boring, build stuff with your hands 3D. GAH! I HATE THIS TEACHER! I had him last semestar for 2D and it was horrible! >.> He's a nice guy and al but he loves to shove homework down your throaght like crazy! "It's only 6 hours of homework" My ass! >.> Who gives 6 hours ^ of homework on the first day of class!

Thursdays
Experiments With Technology- 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM- Now THIS is the fun type of 3D class. >.> Well not quite, but close. It is here that we'll be learnign fun things such as Programing. XD Sam is in my class! He's the guy who's gonig to set up the Anime club in my school. he's so much fun to hang around. >.> And I got to make him stand up and do the chicken dance in the middle of the room in the middle of class.

Fridays
Perpectives in the World of Art and Design 2- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM- This is my art History class. We haven't done much yet but my teacher seems pretty cool. He likes to make dead people jokes.
Critical Reading and Writing 2- Tis my Litterature Class for the semestar. Once more the teacher seems pretty cool. ^-^ He complimented me on my one-page-essay about a Pink Gillette Razor. >.> yes he made us write a one page essay about a razor. But it was such a random object to write about that I had fun with it. Hopefully, when he gives me my papper back i'll put the essay up on here and gloat for a bit.

^-^ Well that's my week. Now if any of you wants to hang out with me you know when I'm free and when I'm not. Remember it takes me about 45 minuets to get to anf from school so you have to count that in too.

~_~ Gah! Of course after I send that whole Jopurnal about how much I DONT want to be social. I end up being busy every freekin day of the week. ~_~ So tired.

I've become extreemly hookede of Final Fantasy 12. (And am currently stuck in it XP)

Um~ I saw Ani-chan! I saw Ani-chan! Woo! ::All excited:: She showed me all the awesome shiz-nig underground Japanese import stores in NYC. ~_~ Especially in Chinatown.

And she got me presents!

Now I wanna go get her something.

I got Saiyuki vol 7 import as well as one of the Saiyuki image albums. @_@

And then amongst out travels I also got Backgammon vol 3, Othello vol. 2, vol. 1-3 of Wild Adapter Import, the Saiyuki Movie Soundtrack and a random JRock CD. Oh! And my first Saiyuki poster! Woo! So there Gojun! I was able to get a pster before you! We went out had meatbuns and tea. ~_~ It was amazing. And we HAVE to go again before she leaves me~

Besides, I know from experience what all this attenion leads too... DRAMA. Yes that horrid world of drama. And for some reason I'm always the middle man of it all. >_> Hell even in roleplay I'm constantly sitting around solving other peoples problems for them. And truthfully I am getting so vary sick an tired of it (not the rolplay the drama)

But unfortunatly my parents see me sitting around on the computer all day and they keep on complaining that I should get out more. >_> Funny how they don't complian when I'm up to 6AM playing videogames. Just when I roleplay.

o_o But I can't help that it's so very addicting and fun. ^_^ I'd much rather be an all powerful demon man then have to deal with the crud most of my freinds dish out.

One of the good occations though is I got to see Tashi-tash recently (although I admit I was reluctent) and me her and her boypal got to spend the day playing video games. I also got to see Victoria Robbie-Rob and some other girl I don't really know the name of.

And um, hakkai's back. Made a whole backstory for his leaving end everything. Why he's left, what occurred durring his absence. And even his return is turning into a rather interesting plot.

As fir Ensui... he's just being... well Ensui. Still trying to proove to everyone else taht he doesn't like other men, and surprisingly he's finally winning. (good greif) >_> I must admit he's been quite a flirt as of late.

And DA updates?

Drew a RL pic of my baby cousin Lydia while I was away. And also I drew a youkai hakkai pic and put it in my scraps since it isn't finished yet.

@_@ Must write. Six page Art hystory report by.. Wednesday as well as finish final foundation dawing picure...

And my 2D pic is due tomorrow. And I haven't even started it. o_o And everyone wants me to go to th high school consert tonight to see them. >_> Most liekly this will be my second night in a row without sleep.

I know I got really poor grades on my Digital Tools and Core Finals.

The Digital Tools one is my fault I was far to easily distracted last night and didn't get much finished.

But the Core Final was due to lousy partners who don't help and the fact that our stuff was stolen in the middle of the night a few days ago so I had to do it all over again.

o_o I was lucky though as class was cancled for me today. >_> Good cuase i had a project due for that class and it wasn't exactly finished.

I stpped roleplaying for hakkai. At least temporerally. Things have been too stressful with playing him recently. Nothing but Angst, angst, angst. Ad it really began to effect me in RL.

So I decided that Hakkai is off on a little journey to find himself again.

So until he finds an answer to his problem--

I made a new character! Woo! >_> As you can see from all my random jaberings over comments I've acctualyl rown quite attached to him already. His name is Ensui and he is the most unloved, underappreciated, and unknown of all the Saiyuki villains.

I've been thinking of maknig a new account for some time now. And suddenly, a few days ago, while on the train I was reading through my Saiyuki vol.5 when I came upon the back of it and saw this cheerful little Pyro.

Curious abut him, (Since he's only in the Saiyuki OVA which never came out in america) I've done as much research as possible, asking random strangers about his personality and interests and such.

I think I'm the first ever hard core Ensui fan to come into exisance. *Laughs*

But then again that's how I am. I have an underdog fetish. i love the guys who always seem to get the least attention. And I'm having so much fun playing him considering his personallity is so polar opposite from Hakkais.

And so I put a few drawigns up of him in my Scraps section as well as a finished doodle in my gallery.

It has consumed my liiifeeee. ::Twirls around and collapses in exhauhstion.:: I think I'm addicted....

I mean I'm practically online 24/7 just to play things out as Hakkai on Myspace. I even think I'm now more Hakkai then I am Cat.

But becasue of my constant addiction to the internet recently, which, I knew would happen. (Ah, what am I kidding, I've been addicted to role playing and the internet since the nineth grade.)

But saddly enough it really is interfearing with my school life. >_> I've fallen so far behins in so many of my classes so that I'm near failing (yet not exactly failing) with all of them. So for the final weeks of the semestar I'm kicking it up into high gear. Lots of work lots of work!

Also I've decided to put up more of my work and be more frequent with my posts. Becasue in truth I acctually do sketch and draw a far lot more then it shoes here. (>_> Of course I'm a design and technology major)

Today for instance my group and I got our critisizm for our phonebooth christmas mirror project. Turns out all that hard labor I used in dressign up NYC's 5th Ave phone booths as christmas presants as for nothing. Because supposedly as my instructor stated it "didn't solve the intended goal." When in truth it solved it far more then any other attempt we've made. >_> I think she's out to get me.

She keeps on coplaining that our group isn't doing enough when in truth we're one of the few groups who already have our project up on display and we've created about three times more prctice test senarios then anyone else. >_> She just doens't like me becasue I wasn't productive enough the first half of the year and she's out to get me.

Also as you can see I've finished this weeks 2D homework and decided "What the Hell, I'm in a DevniantArt Mood" and posted it up. ::Laughs::

Well collage has started for the year. I still cant' beleive it. My first year at collage, I feel so . . old. <_<

Ah well at least I'm gonig for something I love to do!

Yay Design and technology major! Made a few new freinds. So it's all good.

Our first big project is to make a website from scratch. And so I did. I must admit it was quite tedious. And I'm no where near done. But at least I understand what to do now.

I put my website up on here just incase anyone wants to check it out.

And as you can tell I've been putting up a lot more of my stuff. ^_^ Well that's becasue I finally have art programs to work with that don't have some sort of block! Woo! The one good thing about collage, no blocked computers.

I was supposed to go to my Critical Reading and Writing Class today. But after waking up at 6:00 AM (Didn't get much sleep last night 'cause yesterday was Hakkai's birthday and all) and taking a one hour train into the city it turns out my class was cancled. >_> Go figure.

Have plans for tonight to go out Holloween costume shopping with Slade and after that going out to the Rec with Natasha and a few other random people. Yay Swimming . .O_o Or are we gonig Ice Skating?
