For those of you on my WLM/MSN contact list, I will not be able to get online with the latest version of WLM until I sort out why I can't sign on. I have reason to believe that my version of Windows XP is incompatible with the latest version of MSN/WLM, but I don't know for sure.

Damn you, forced update! You can go burn in the deepest ring of Hell! I was doing just fine with the version I had! Microsoft can burn in Hell for this!

*sigh* There are times I hate Microsoft and this is one of them. I want Windows 7!

Well, to start off, this month has pretty much sucked. Seems to me like the last three Octobers have. Not even the thrill of Halloween is left for me. Emo as that sounds, it's true. First, an art block that refused to go away. Second, a quarrel with a dear friend that I STILL don't understand and am not sure how to begin patching up. Third, money's tight again. And lastly, my weekend was shot all to hell and back.

We were supposed to go back to Kansas for Halloween. Money says that isn't happening and there's nothing I can do to rectify it. Fiance's got school tomorrow and he's not willing to miss the first class. I can't blame him. I'm the same way.

Just seems to me like ever since my 18th birthday, which my parents weren't home for because they were in Vegas that weekend, October has sucked ass, despite my love and excitement for Halloween. I don't even have the spirit to WANT to dress up tomorrow. I have money in my bank account, but that doesn't help me feel any better, either. That's because I know it's just going to go towards rent, which, although it IS reduced for this month thanks to a friend of our roomie moving into the complex, is still going to suck the remaining funds out of two of us.

I just don't want to call my mom to tell her that we can't make it up there this weekend. I'm expecting a call back from her, and I'll have to tell her then, but I just don't want to. Yeah, we're planning to go home in November, but I just feel like I broke a shit ton of promises, because I was SO sure this weekend was going to happen. Well... That's what happens when you get your heart set on something. You would think I would learn not to do that anymore; that I would learn to be more pessimistic about these things, just so I would save myself the disappointment. But hope is a damn resilient object and I've got a bit too much for my own good sometimes.

Doesn't help that I felt rather forgotten on my birthday. I know this wasn't the case, but that's just how I felt. I missed the call from my mom and my brother because the phone was on silent, I missed my sister's IM because I'd been off MSN for a while, and we didn't have the money to go DO anything for my birthday, either. I did get a couple of well-wishers from friendlisted users on Gaia, which was nice. Didn't really improve my overall mood, though. In a way, I would have even appreciated a call from my dad, even though I hold such a low respect for him right now because of all the shit that my family went through. Then again, he's never called just for the hell of it. Neither have I, but I can never seem to catch his cell phone at the right time, anyway. Talk about a downer, huh?

Speaking of the fam, I don't know how concrete it is, but divorce is pretty imminent between the parents. I'm kinda torn about it. On the one hand, it frees them both up to do as they need to do. But on the other, it puts my family on the stats chart of divorces in the US and marks us as the black sheep of the family. Maybe I care a little too much in that department, but I can't help it if one of my prides was that I came from a family whose parents were still married. So, yeah, blow to the ego and a blast to the patriarchal respect levels. Maybe they'll remarry each other, maybe they won't, maybe one will remarry someone else, maybe not. I dunno anymore. Sure does shatter one's faith in one's roots and shake up one's stability, though. [/rant]

Ain't no wonder why mine and Tyler's relationship's been rocky as of late. We're not in danger of splitting, but we're not feeling as close as usual. We're trying our best not to take out our frustrations with life on each other, though. So far, we're doing pretty good, so that's one security in place. <3

I feel I've gone on long enough, so... I'll leave it at that and wish everyone a Happy Halloween. I just needed to get a lot of crap off my chest.

I don't know what my problem is right now, but I've been feeling more than just a bit internet-antisocial. I've concluded that it's been a bout of depression and creativity block that's lasted longer than its usual month or week. No big deal, really. Just some phase that I'm working through.

So, Tyler's parents came down this past weekend. Got my hair cut and put in some applications for jobs. Applied at Fry's Electronics, TJ Maxx, and I think one other place. Don't remember, though. x3
The weekend was fun; lifted my spirits and got me out of a blue funk I had going on there for a while. Monday evening, I get a call.

I landed an interview! It made me really happy. I'm to expect a phone call here soon, as the interview was today and I think I did pretty well. But because I really don't want to get all excited and then get shot down (again), I'm trying to keep my hopes pretty realistic. Getting rejected from jobs again and again and again can really just kill your attitude about it. xP

And now, for 9. No spoilers. x3

Went and saw it finally. :3 I liked it. Plot wasn't anything uber-spectacular, but the animation was great and the concepts behind the creatures were just really freakin' twisted. O.o; Worth a watch.
I have to say, I loved the Twins, 3 and 4. They were just too cute in their own curious ways. And 7 was a pretty kickass female doll-thingy. x3

Lately I've been experiencing a reborn interest in vampiric lore. I largely attribute this to lurking TS.com and just being in a writing mood. Anyway, I've been developing Katarina "Black Kat" Acheron by writing a bit of a journal documenting her reaction to a certain fad that I believe I don't need to mention. >w>

I thought about posting it. Still am. I'm just really having fun with it. xD I find Kat to be a really fun girl to write, but then again, I've always liked the badass girls. I'm mostly exploring and developing her as what I call a true-breed vampire, relying on science as much as I can without making it just...stupid. That and she's really showing her true colors as a character. xD

I'm thinking I will go ahead and post her journal. It's very raw and unedited except for a few flybys I did every time I reread it to get back on track. Is a fun project; writing from your character's point of view. ^^

`hakubaikou, or Charlene Sun, was killed in a car accident this year, I think sometime in January or February judging from the journal currently on her page. I didn't know her, but when I saw her art, I was in awe. She had so much potential still yet, and she was a fellow RuroKen fan. She was a phenomenal digital artist; she would have gone very far in life.

God bless, Haku. You are missed.

Her family and film school friends have set up a scholarship fund in her name, which people can donate to. There's a link in the journal, and the account *ForHakuBaikou was set up en memoriam. Her family has chosen to keep all her art up for the rest of us to enjoy.

Let us not take each other for granted. For we never know when another of us will be gone.

Best wishes to the family and friends of Charlene Sun.

Update: Mom's now back home, after having a heart surgery to repair a small hole in her heart. But we gotta be careful around her still. I'm just glad she's back home and okay. A little unsteady on her feet, naturally, but that's to be expected.

By the way, Mom's still in the hospital, getting tests run and everything. The doctors said she had the best kind of stroke, if one is going to have any kind of stroke. The two blood vessels running parallel to her spine were the ones affected, not the jugular or carotid vessels, like most folks think of when they hear "stroke".

*sigh* Bad news. Just when I thought today was going to be alright.

My mom had a stroke this week. So instead of staying at KSU like I'd planned, I have to head home.

I really need to knock some skulls in my family for NOT TELLING ME THE DAY IT HAPPENED! I knew there had been some bad karma floating around... The family council is happening this weekend. I can't afford to wait any more; I have to at least try to snap my family back into line, because my parents sure as hell aren't doing a very good job.

Update: My mom is okay; they're coming back from the hospital tonight, and she's well enough to be cracking jokes. The stroke actually happened around Sunday/Monday of this past week. We thought it was food poisoning, but I don't think even that will have a person vomiting as often as my sister told me she was.
Other than her left side being numb to heat, she's fine.

I just don't know why things had to come to this, of all things. This had better have some sort of reason for happening, or something good had better come of it. Mom's been pretty anxious lately due to domestic drama that isn't getting solved as quickly as it should be. I have a suspicion that her anxiety was what brought the stroke on in the first place. :/

It shouldn't have happened. But there's nothing I can do about it now. I just have to take action for the future. :/

Alright. I know that the perpetrator behind my unspeakable rage will likely never read this. But I don't care whether this individual does or not. I just am so. Fucking. Tired. Of little douchefaggots who think it's "okay" to have an online relationship for a while, disappear for two months and not respond to their partner, putting that partner through hell, then come back and expect things to be okay between them, only to split up another two months later because of the accusation of cheating.

Yeah, sounds typical. But what REALLY FUCKING PISSES ME OFF is the fact that the party that left was actually the party who was cheating on the one that went through Hell! Then the former has the audacity to blame it on the latter because the latter was talking to a friend of the former. What's worse? The former fucking publicizes it and gains a shit ton of sympathy from people who DON'T EVEN FUCKING KNOW THE LATTER PARTY! It really, really wants to make me take it out on the guilty ones! Call it a grudge, call it protective, call it whatever the hell you want.

Home's been hellish to come back to from college. My mom's not been in the best shape, and my dad is never home. My siblings are suffering from the effects horribly, especially my brother, who has no dependable masculine role model who can teach him how to be a man. That's a task left to me and my sis, if another male doesn't fill it by the time my brother is to start becoming a respectable young man.

I'm not looking for sympathy; I'm over the whole ordeal. I'm emotionally numb to it now. I just disapprove of my father's actions. I also purposely omit lots of details, due to my own faulty mind and the fact that the Interwebz has enough drama without me adding to it. (I refuse to add to it.)

Highest point of my year was the TSO concert I took *MsPheonix to in Tulsa. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is ungodly amazing... One doesn't go to see the musicians. One goes for the blinding light show and fantastic music.

But I think that's enough. I wish a happy new year to all, and may 2009 be better than 2008.

Bad news on the college front, too. KSU is planning to phase out the marching band. D: Financial reasons, I think. But what's a Big XII college without its BAND?! Those guys are the halftime show!

Doesn't really affect me, but it's still Wildcat Pride. I just hope that they get enough support to keep the band. >.<

First off, I have nothing against the Furry community; they do their thing, I do mine, and life goes on. I am also not an expert on either group. I'm just putting my thoughts out here.

What makes an anthro into a furry? What makes that bloodthirsty werewolf into good-natured fursona Lupus the Wolf? This is where black and white stop and become gray. This is where opinions define a community and society's perception of them. There are two definitions that I agree with most. One is from a furry that I was commissioned by, the other from an anthro artist.

A furry is an anthro specifically created for the fandom; or, a furry is an anthro with more human characteristics than animal ones. These obviously overlap greatly. And I rather agree with both. This one can be argued that "true" furries are anthro with mops of hair on their heads (regardless of species) and human behaviors; no trace of animal instinct to be found. This is debatable; there are furs out there who aren't like that, I'm sure.

An anthro is one not created for the furry fandom; or, an anthro is more animal in behavior than human, meaning they have primal instincts from their animal halves. I agree with the first more, but I can agree with the second if you want to get down-and-dirty about it. I guess it could be argued that the only "true" anthro are the "were-creatures". But I disagree with this. As far as I'm concerned, Were-creatures are wolves, cats, bears, and rats. That's it. You've never heard of a wereparrot or a weresalmon, have you? I haven't.

Good question. My personal stand is that I am both. I draw both. I get along with both. I am the median. I don't insist that I'm one or the other; if you wanna call me a furry, that's fine. I don't care. If you don't, that's fine too. I don't have a problem with that. It's called being open-minded and confident in who and what you are.

Honestly, if someone who doesn't know me wants to classify everyone in a community as bad just because of one facet, that's not my problem and I could care less about what they think of me if they think/say/call me a furry. I'm not going to let a stupid label like "furvert" get to me, because that's all it is: A label. It only means something while shopping and in scientific taxonomy. It doesn't say anything about the real me. And what's funny is that you'd probably never suspect me of being a furry if you just met me on the street. Same goes for many furries in the world; you'd probably never think they were until you got to know them.

Basically, what I'm saying is that furry=anthro, but not all anthro=furry. Here, look at Bugs Bunny, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fox McCloud, and Mickey Mouse. Are they furries? No. As much as the furry-associated Fox and Sonic fantards may think so, they are not. They're anthro animals. Why? Because their creators did NOT create them to BE furries. Therefore, they are not furry.

So you might wonder what started this whole novella of a journal. Not much but a debate taken too seriously(I do that a lot >.> ) between a girl and her guy over whether she's a furry and the difference between furry and anthro. But mostly my own search for what the difference is; call it an innate curiosity. I just want to understand. Oh, and my new words are Zooanthrophobe (fear of anthro animals) and Animazooanthrophobe (fear of animated anthro animals) Not as in cartoon animation; as in humanly lively and expressive. xD I'm done ranting/talking/whatever-you-wanna-call-what-I'm-doing now. x3

We are a very hug/praise/patpat-based community. Not that it's a horrible thing, mind you, but some of us - especially those of us who would like to keep improving - often stagnate because we're not getting important feedback on how to improve. :/ Some of us, like me, have this intriguing little flaw in us. We get hooked on this detail we really, really like about this one particular picture we've just drawn. And it seems that focusing on this one detail like this detracts from the quality of the rest of the picture.

We get stuck in these ruts of drawing essentially the same view or pose or what-have-you every time we draw a picture along the same lines as a previous one. I know this is a flaw of mine. I'd like to be able to produce works like some of the people I watch here, like *zimeta08, *Senaru, and *silver6kraid, among others. Y'know, works that are more complete and diverse.

I know I could just as easily kick my butt into gear and give my style a complete overhaul, but I kinda worked several years to achieve what I do have. x3

Overall, I think that what it comes down to is me asking for constructive critique in addition to comments. I know I could just as easily hit the "Advanced Critique Encouraged" button when I submit things, but I have to wonder if that scares off potential commentors. Besides... People have been known to tell you what's wrong, but not how to fix it. >.<

As I saw someone say in a Gaia Art forum: "If I wanted to know what I did right, I'd show it to my mother."

This whole thought process of mine might come across to you the wrong way. I hope it doesn't. All I mean is that I want to know what is wrong or could be improved and suggestions on how to fix it. We artists may be our own worst critics, but we can also be our own biggest fans. :/

And one more thing before I finish this out. If you do critique me, don't be afraid to be blunt. I'm thick-skinned; I can handle it. ^^ I'm not the type to lash out at a critique. (Insults, on the other hand...
Actually, I handle insults with a little more level-headedness than I imply I do. xD)

Okay, okay, it's probably not such a big deal, but after two years or so of having to give up my computer to let my sis play on it, it's pretty darn awesome. Not to mention dealing with the reminders that I'm router-illiterate every time I tried to set up the darn thing. T-T *is very much a do-it-yourselfer*
But (and this is probably the only time I'll say this), thank God for tech support! Although the guy I got was a foreigner, he was helpful and patient with me. ^^ My mom says it's prolly partly because I'm not totally computer-illiterate like a lot of the people tech support guys have to deal with. I dunno, really. All I need to know is that I no longer have to have a router sitting, useless, in my room. Or have my sister bugging me to get on my computer! ^^

Oh, and my boyfriend, formerly ~Azriel-Winterheart, is changing over to a new account, ~cpttritium, for those of you who know us personally. :3

I went to my first Broadway show ever: Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, at Tulsa Performance Arts Center. And oh my gosh, I discovered just how moved I can be at the sound of a great singing voice. I loved the Phantom's voice when he sang. It made me want to sing the songs, too! Fortunately, I stayed in my seat, watching quietly. The Phantom remains my favorite character in the musical.

I liked this version's Raoul better, too. Much less foppish, more masculine. Him being the baritone of the two male leads might've figured in that; Monsieur Erik was the tenor of the two. x3

But I didn't like this performance's Christine. Her voice was too harsh; sounded too much like Carlotta. As a matter of fact, she was impossible to tell from Carlotta when both were on stage and going through their power notes. Then again, it wasn't exactly the lady who normally does Christine on the weekday performances.

But overall, the show was great, and I'd love to go to another Broadway production. ^^ I got a T-shirt and a keychain from it, too. :3

Chicago was fun. I got to go the Hancock observatory and see the city from 94 floors above the streets. I hate heights, though, very much so. And it was cloudy, so I didn't get to see the shores of Wisconsin and Indiana. xD I also got to go to Hershey's and Ghirardelli chocolatiers. Chocolate smells SOO good.
It was good to see my little cousins again, too. ^^ Even if they tend to get on your nerves after a few days of living at their house. Little kids under the age of 12 or 13 seem to get on my nerves really easily... But oh well. I'm just glad to be home.

I'm just so irritated right now... I come home and try to get my sister's computer up and running, with the promise that I could get it done tonight. I don't have an OS for her. Well... I have an OS, just not a product key. So that's down the toilet. *sigh*

On another note of irritation, I'm sick of being told that I can't do things my way. I'm sick of doing things the way someone else does it. I just feel like I always do things someone else's way. And quite frankly, I'm tired of it! I want to try and do something the way I think it should be done. If I fail, then I've learned something; that I can't do it that way and I need to try again. That's life.

I've always been taught that failure is not an option. I'm tired of that, too. It's given me an irrational fear of negative consequences of failure. If I'm not supposed to fail, then how the bloody heck am I to find out what works and what doesn't? Isn't that how we learn? Even Edison knew that! More than half of his inventions were duds, but he learned from those, didn't he? Clearly! Otherwise we wouldn't have the lightbulb.

*sigh* I just want to find out for myself what works for some things and what doesn't work for those things. I don't want to be protected from failure anymore. Yes, it makes me mad when I fail or otherwise don't get what I want to get done. But OH WELL! I'll get over it. I always have and always do. Chances are I always will.

Maybe I'm just dense... Maybe I'm just the kind of person who would go on a wild goose chase to the ends of the earth, only to find out that what I was trying to achieve or accomplish was impossible in the first place. I don't know...

But at least the principal approved of what I had, made a few suggestions and changes. So that's all good and well now. ^^
And also, I've had my hair cut; a good 13-14 inches of it... Gone. I'm donating it to Locks of Love. <3 I also had it colored. I used to have this milk chocolate colored hair; now it's more of a dark chocolate with a raspberry tint... I'm making myself hungry; I need to quit that. xD

Anyways, how's life, everyone? Mine's been pretty quiet, what with school and college registration stuff and scholarships and all that jazz. xD I'm excited about college, now that I know more about the one I'm going to attend this upcoming fall. I'm still a little scared, but I figure I'll get over it.

In the meantime, this one thing has been bugging me. Not so much a thing as a person, in my Creative Writing class. (Oki, mini-rant time xD ) There's this freshman in my class, and he's a... Well, a strange case, really. If anyone's ever been in a Creative Writing group/class, perhaps you've done a cycle-writing. Similar to roleplaying, but at the same time, not. Every time someone gets a good storyline going, it reaches this freshman. Then it falls apart. Some how, some way, extreme Harry Potter fanfic-esque characters/situations mysteriously appear, whether the plot be a tragedy or a comedy. Or some exotic, titanium-mallet-toting giant will pop up. (I kid you not, the kid has an obsession with titanium... and flamboyant purple... and polka dots...)
Normally this isn't a problem. But given that there's a group of six...No, five, who sit in the front right corner of the room and have a healthy appreciation for Shakespeare, drama, blood, and darkness. We have thus been named the Dark Corner, a.k.a. Vampire Corner. (Interesting story behind that...) And we object to these fantasies like a vampire to a stake through the heart. And we tend to be absolutely horrid towards him and his uber-fantasy worlds. >.> Though not without due cause.

And what's really funny is that he called himself a Sci-Fi writer! Uh, sorry, kid, but no. Sci-Fi ain't magic running amok. Not in my opinion, anyway. He also hates tragedy and drama, blaspheming Shakespeare, and I quote: "He's dead. Just let it die off already." 'Course, we Vampires protested that. x3 None shall blaspheme The Bard in our presence!

Oh man. I could fill a few pages with my rants about this kid. Call me callous, but I just do not like him one bit. (I choose not to say hate because I don't really hate him, per se.) But now that's out of my system. :3 Well, no, I have one more thing: Cycle writing is like the typical Gaia roleplay. Full of ghosting, puppeteering, god-moding, stereotypical or off-the-wall characters, and general chaos. 'Tis why I dislike it so much. x3

Hmm… *looks back at her résumé of characters* I have so few male characters. That’s kinda… weird. I really need to make a list of all my characters or something. *thinks* Okay, I’ve got some.
Eizoryu – A female human; her occupations have been/are: Military commander, rogue, assassin, and bounty hunter.
Enigma – A female anthro-eagle and member of a fictional race called the Kh’rythians. Speaks through her mind. Her words will be in italics.

Kimeira: I’m the oddball. *giggles* What kinds? Action/adventure movies are fun, comedies are great, and I enjoy the occasional drama or tragedy… I feel so out of place. *fuzzes*

Enigma: No. Even if I were, I’d correct you. We Kh’rythians don’t marry; we mate for life.

Psychology's supposed to teach you how and/or why people go insane; not drive YOU insane! Ugh. It's not the class, it's the teacher. I hate the way he grade things. You have to have such-and-such a word on your paper in your notebook or it's wrong D<
If it weren't for the teacher or his grading style, I'd be fine. But... grr... I just hate it, I guess.

In other news, I'm taking part in the Friends of Rachel volunteer group, and accepted Rachel's Challenge. (For more info, go to [link], or google it. ) My school's not a part of the FoR group yet, but I'm going to help it become one ^^
And lastly, I've had absolutely no inspiration lately. This makes me sad T-T I have nothing to do in my spare time during my Teacher's Assistant hour. The last thing I drew was meant to be an anthro dragon, but it turned out to be something that looked more like a demon o.O

So, I'm gonna ask of people: If there's anything from my gallery that you would like to see me start drawing again, or an idea within my abilities, tell me, please ^^

But I do have some good news. I turn 18 on Friday! Yay legal adulthood-ness! xD In other news, I've got a bunch of pictures that need to be colored and/or scanned and posted. I've got a comic done that I thought was cute and somewhat funny, and another in the works about a hullabaloo in the fursona/anthro community. (My hearing about it courtesy of Reich x3) When they're posted, by no means take them seriously. They were spur-of-the-moment things That and it was fun working with expressions
I also have an offer to propose. If anyone would like to have a Toraion character created, I'm willing to design it All you have to do is note me, and I'll take it from there with some input from you.
The story I had planned to post has come to a standstill, unfortunately. School hath interfered, as hath lack-of-inspiration. However, the paper on descriptions and ways of the race is still subject to submission.

Wow, it's September already x3 And with a new month comes new ideas. Ideas for a book. I've been writing a story based on the world that my gryphon race, the Toraion, live in. It hasn't gotten very far yet, though I'm trying to fix that All I wonder is this: Would people read it if I posted reasonable sections of it here on dA? It would give me helpful feedback if I did post it and people did comment. It's just the wondering that holds me back
I know that some people don't have very long attention spans, so I don't want to waste their time with my world of fantasy But what do I know? People may like the idea of a story about anthro-gryphs. Plus, I even have a research-type paper written out on their culture xD Dunno if I'll post that (or rather, bits of it). That depends on what people tell me they'd like to see.

MsPheonix might be having some trouble with coming online. Her parents know what she's been writing on her journals. They know what I've said. Things might be tough on her for a while. I don't know what's going to happen, and I won't pretend to. But I'd like opinions here. :/ I don't know if this stuff will happen. This that follows is all hypothetical.

Is it fair for parents to ban a kid off the computer if the said child feels so alienated from their parents that they have nowhere else to turn for comfort, thus leading the child to pour their soul onto a journal posted on a public website that many of their friends visit?
I'm not looking for what I want to hear. I'm looking for honest opinions. There's the chance that her parents won't allow her and her sister to see me and my sister. Would that be fair? Consider the fact that I always tried to take MsPheonix's side, then tell me if that would be fair. People who have seen my comments on her journal know I talk smack about her mom. What else can I do? I've heard all this bad stuff and formed my own opinion! Maybe I'm just a terrible, hypercritical human being, but I won't deny that I talk smack about her mom when I hear about this stuff that goes on. I'm only human...

Oh, and MsPheonix, I'm not going to use our real names anymore. It's too risky. You also don't need to comment on this journal, though if you do, I won't mind.

EVERYWHERE!

Yeah, not much of a journal this time. Just a little update in my life x3 School starts again for me and my sibs here in a week and a half. It's senior year for me o.O I'm not sure whether to be scared, happy, sad, or what. I just think about it and I realize that college is but a hop, skip and a jump away. I'm still unsure whether I want pre-med or pre-vet. Doctors make a lot of money, but that's a high-risk job. Mess up, someone dies, you get sued... Vets don't make as much (still a lot, though), but there's less of a chance someone will sue you for an animal dying on your table. But I could be wrong >>;; After all, people love their pets. Man, I'm a risk-taker xD

I still haven't finished my summer books for school, either <<;; Nor have I finished the last Harry Potter installment. I'm still trying to avoid spoilers. Oh well. My biggest worry is my AP English class qualification test >.< And that's in... oh dear... 3 days. And I've got a bunch of pictures I need to submit. It's just that I've been designing more of my anthro-gryphon race, the Toraion. Mostly the parents of the two in my gallery.

People, mostly tourists, there in Orlando were terribly rude. Sometimes I felt like my family were the only ones to say 'excuse me' when we had to pass by someone or some group o.O The staff at Disney were pretty good, considering some of the jobs some of them have (it has to get hot in those costumes ) And no offense to anyone here, but some people have an astounding girth. Sorry to anyone who might take offense! It's just that one has to watch out and stay out of the way >>;;
But that's enough of my gossip, because it's not really all that nice for me to be talking about people like that >< My only excuse here is that I can't help what's true, and truth hurts.

I'm just glad to be home now. We had to get up at 2 this morning to catch a plane that left at 6. It's like what the heck? So I'm tired I managed to catch an hour of sleep on the flight from Orlando to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Then this little baby, not even a year old, started crying. It was because his ears were either popping or not because of the descent. I felt sorry for him; it hurts, and when you're that little, you just don't know what else to do but announce it to the entire plane that you're in pain. His parents were doing everything they could to ease the pain, too.

So, feel free to either lambast me for being mean to fat people, ignore me because I'm tired, or just comment and ignore my gossip entirely

A few weeks ago, I was looking through some older pics in my portfolio, and I came across my 'Winged Serpent'. That's when the lightning bolt of inspiration struck me. Now what I have to show for it is seven more in that style of anthro. I also recently found out the correct name for them, too. I was looking at one of 's pictures, and it had Grievous as what I now know is called a naga.
So, now I have seven more of these creatures drawn. I plan on putting them all together in one piece. Colored and everything. That's gonna be fun
In other news, our team lost at the Academic Decathlon competition, but oh well. The shirts are infinitely better than last year's, though And I'm also excited for my school's Prom. I've already got my stuff picked out. Now I just need to order it
