Once again, props to the original artists and thanks to them for letting me do this.

I'm probably going to take a break from the OS-tans and begin focusing effort on The Cyber Rangers, although it might still be relatively slow. Thanks to everyone for your comments and such. I am actually in personal contact with some of the artists and they say they're glad everyone likes them so much.

I have noticed that a bunch of people lately have been fussing on me saying I have been stealing art. WRONG. If you read the terms of service, you will see this line under the copyright section:

"Individuals who have posted works to deviantART are either the copyright owners of the component parts of that work or are posting the work under license from a copyright owner or his or her agent or otherwise as permitted by law."

In other words, if one is not the original artist, they must have permission to upload these. I DO in fact have this permission, so give me a break!

I will continue blocking comments that bash me, so don't even try it.

Since it seems I have forgotten to say this, (I thought I put it in my first journal), I will say it now, I DID NOT MAKE THESE AND CREDIT TO THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS!!! THE ROCK!!!!

I assure you, however, that the other works in my gallery ARE mine.

Oh man, it's been a while since I submitted anything, things have just been rough.

Anyway, next up is the Windows-95 tan, also called "Chicago". Since she is the first and oldest of the modern 32-bit Windows operating systems, she is depicted as a traditional looking woman from the Japanese early modern era. She is usually shown as the most sensible of the OS-tans, however she does carry a katana with her and is very skilled in its use. She is very hostile towards any non Windows OS-tan, especially the MacOS-tans. She is usually old-fashioned in most of what she does, being unfamiliar with newer technologies such as USB and broadband.

On a scale of 1-10, I would have to rate 95-tan as an 8. (This rating is based on the character of the OS-tan, NOT the actual OS).

I have completed all of my OS-tan collecting and I am ready to start posting them. I have decided to start from the earliest and go to the latest, and then do the miscellaneous ones.

The first OS-tan to grace my deviantART gallery is the Windows 3.1-tan. She is one the OS-tans with no other name.
Most commonly, she is depicted as a little girl with silver hair and reddish eyes with purple clothes. She is almost never without her cat, whose name is DOSkitty, since the tech-savvy know that you must have DOS installed in order for 3.1 to be installed.

For more info on the other OS-tans you can try here: [link]
