U of A was not what i had imagined for my senior year. Band seemed to build to the climax until our superior rating Junior year, and now it has fallen. We recieved a rating of "excellent" this year. Most expected it, but in my recording, the audience applauded so loudly at the part with the red capes, the soloist was inaudible. I really thought we had a chance.

Hello all! Only 2 days left of my Deadhorse ban!

Anyway, I'm here... don't really know why... It's just a journal that i decided to post.

I'm looking toward a long weekend. U of A Band Day is Saturday from 1:15 to eternity. It's a big deal for the band, and we have a lot to live up to after last year, where we got nunamaker and the first superior ranking in 12 years.It will be really great for us to do that well this year, but i won't hold my breath we'll see tomorrow.

I really really really really really really really really really really really want to finish Firebreather this year, and try to get it as perfect as possible, and maybe even published.

My drawing and subsequent photoshop use will be limited due to the need to study for school, and the amount of time taken up by 2 different AP writing classes, and daily math homework, and Moody AP Gov.

I have returned from Prescott. I had a lot of fun at Band Camp this year, though it wasn't as fun as previous years. They cut morning sickness out of the talent show , and the flutes refused to work hard enough to get section of the day.

Otherwise, it was a lot of fun, and im rly happy to b back. If anyone wants to hang out, you should know how to contact me.

Anyway, I also came to the realization that if not for band, i would have no friends, because:

I met Hannah through band, and if i hadn't met hannah, i wouldn't know Joe. I met Adith through band, if i'd never met him i wouldn't have met Kenny, which would mean i'd never have met Fluffy-chan or Mary, and without Mary i wouldn't have met Jenna, Kelsey, or the other hannah. There are other relationships that id've never had, but this is already a lot. Band has really been a big part of my life!

In other news, i saw twilight on the way back from band camp. It was so bad, i just have to say this:

Srsly, the horribleness of the special effects, and the bad scripting made it hilarious. Can you say "low budget"? It was so Lolrus!

The whole reason i post on this site is so that can get feedback on them from you people, and since that doesn't appear to be happening anymore, there's no use in putting forth the effort to post anymore.

I really don't even care if the comment is helpful, or overly complementary, i just want to see that people actually look at my deviations!

I've decided that there is a very small chance of War's Bane ever being published, and that even the little plot that i've come up with doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't much like that story anymore, and have basically given up on it.

Firebreather has come to the forefront of my writing priorities, as a story that i will more than likely attempt to have published, and will likely have a prequel/sequel type thing as well. Next chapter has only just begun, but i have lots of ideas, and it will be done before i know it.

Seriously, Asub3292 moved, I failed ap english first semester, i got 2nd chair flute, my steel shirt lost, i didn't get section leader when all of my friends - and a few of my enemies - did.

This means that next year, i have to take 2 english credits, i won't ever be able to hang out with Asub3292 - or with most of my friends because, they'll be busy with section leader stuff and i won't - and i'll have to deal with fucking Allegra thinking she's God because she's Mrs. Shane's "personal assistant" (a title, but not a section leader).

The only good thing was that i made it into wind ensemble, meaning that i'll have to spend an entire year in effing Zoe's shadow, being able to be second chair at effing best. Great. Just great.

so one of my friends who actually made section leader can't go a conversation without mentioning her newfound burder; how the other section leaders dump all the work on her, how hard she thinks it's going to be, ect. I think it's really tactless of her. I spent nearly 2 weeks hoping that i'd made section leader, another week waiting for ms shane to post the stupid results, not to mention the three-hour tryout and the 2 1/2 hours that went into the stupid essay that i had to write. I hate that she constantly has to remind me that she succeeded where i failed.

Next year is my senior year, and unlike her, i won't be able to put section leader on my resume, i don't get to have the freshman actually listen to me, i sit and listen to the two bitchy and one non-bitchy flute seciton leaders, and the bitch to out-bitch all other effing bitches Allegra, Ms. Shane's personal assistant (which doesn't mean section leader, but she'll think she's god anyway). It really annoys me that she complains about it so casually in front of someone who would have practically given body parts for the same opportunity!

Also, my phone's memory card is now malfunctioning. I no longer have tetris or digdug, nor even the background that i made, to entertain me on my stupid phone. all i can do is use it as a phone.

Sorry it took me so long to post this, but I haven't been on my computer much lately:

Forms(performing Pal Chae Dae): 3rd place
Weapons(performing Young Moon Hyung, staff form): 1st place
Sparring: 4th place

I did my staff form again in the black belt adult grand championship, but there was a 3rd dan(degree black belt) who won first in both her forms and weapons division, meaning that she performed twice in the grand championship. It is very likely that she placed second in the championship to herself! Her forms were both amazing.

Overall, it was a pretty good tournament. I've always done well when i did Young Moon Hyung (the staff form) at tournaments.

Second: Yayness! I just went through a two-hour test for second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, and came out feeling good about myself. It was tiring, but well worth the effort i put into it.

Third: As a present congradulating me for accomplishing five years of dedication to Tang Soo Do, my parents have given me a $50 target gift card. If you know me well enough, you can bet with a good chance of accuracy that it will eventually result in a video game. That's why i'm mentioning this: can you reccomend a good game? I have a Wii and a computer, so does anyone know a good game for one of those two systems?

Fourth: Tommorow is a Tang Soo Do tournament, and sunday is the Tang Soo Do golf fundraiser. I will be unable to write or draw, and won't be active much at all this weekend. Sorry!

I got on the bus and after a few stop, realized that i'd forgotten my flute. I had to nudge the person in front of me, who i barely knew by the way, and asked to borrow his phone so that i could call my mom, who brought the flute to school for me. Problem solved, right? wrong. usually, when the bus drops me off, i hang out with my friends in the plaza before school starts, but today i had to wait for my flute, because band was first period today.

Next, my mom had to pick me up during lunch so that i could get allergy shots. Once again, i didn't get to see any of my friends, and it was 7th period by the time i got back.

Next, i was talking to Avi and Mary after school, the only real conversation i'd had with any of my friends all day. When they'd both gone, i realized i'd missed my bus, and i had no cell phone. So mary lent me hers. Problem solved, right? Wrong! My parents both had some 'meeting' to go to, and they couldn't come get me for at least a half-hour!

Optimistic a person as i am, i looked at this as a time in which i could finish my math homework. I'd about finished it by the time i realized that i was doing the wrong page!

God what a crappy day. i almost felt like crying at the end of it

1.) The poker tournament will b held June 7 from 14 30-19 00. Hope u can all make it!

2.) Scanner's broken again. I hav drawn a beautiful pic featuring some Japanese characters, L, and even Light (and he's smiling... It's kinda kreepy), but no1 will c it until my scanner stops being a dooshbag.

3.) I went 2 Paige and Mary's Live Theatre Workshop thing on the 27th, and thot it was really gud. The rest of u really missed out!
