It was the showcase for the graduates from illustration, photography, graphics and textiles. (I'm a bit gutted we wont be in the campus next year, but I'm not too negative, as I don't know what Deane holds.)

I spent most of my time in the illustration room with Hay, Luke and Danny, I really loved some of the work and it's only convinced me to do a stand out section next year. Pete said some nice stuff to me about myself and my work so I know I can achieve it.

he Arches is lovely, I'm really enjoying the flat, it's a good place to come back to from work, the Clinton girls have come over a few times, once we played Mario Kart...bad move.

I'm working on a shitty little comic based on a character called 'Fa' a moody panda, it sounds stupid but I'm going to dedicate some time to it.

Uni is pretty much over now, which is ace because now I can spend some time with hay going shopping and having fun, I can also finish sorting out my room at the flat, ARGH it's such a mess, clothes everywhere.

I'm going to do some work over summer, but I usually struggle with things to draw so if anyone out there has any ideas slap 'em my way!

I'm just doing some uni work but I really can't concentrate on a brief which wants me to design some stamps for Easter. ARGH. I can't think of anything at all, I had some ideas but I'm just not too excited by them.

Apart from that, I'm not too bad, enjoying work and uni although personal things are a bit in the air, but nothing too serious, just some sorting out needs doing.

I'll post a blog when I get back from America, just to remind myself of it, and share some laughs that are bound to be had!

This morning we all blitzed the house so now it's gleaming and sparkling like brand new. Ah, life is good.....

I can't wait till uni on Monday, it feels like forever since I've been there, thought it's probably about 3 weeks? (Not sure) I'm gonna' get my head stuck into the new briefs and 'av a reet good time.

I'm currently on my summer holidays from Uni, I'm just using the time to work, doodle and have fun.

I'm just waiting for Hay to come round, he finished work in 35 minutes, so I'm just filling time by uploading work and just messing around.

I'm getting happier with the work I'm submitting, probably because it's in illustrator, I'm really enjoying using it and I feel it goes well with my work. I can't wait to get back to university so I can really give my all.

I've also decided to try and ink my children's book, that'll use up some time!

Anyway, we went into Build a bear, to try and find Pen Pen a hat or something, but everything was too big, poor guy. I bought a Dixie Chicks DVD and a few CDs...not saying what they are....but you'll hate one of them that's for sure .

We then went to a juice stand called 'Boost' or something, really nice girls working there, liked to have a laugh. They made me a 'Berry Blast' (highly recommended!) and she asked 'what can I shout, when it's ready?' and I replied 'what ever you want', so she chose 'Denver Police Explosives Detection' because it was on my t-shirt. haha, when Hay went to get his, they decided to call him 'Mr Rawr' because his shirt was made by Animal....he loved it, he wont admit, but I bet he felt like a right stud.

So yeah, he's called 'Mr Rawr' in my phonebook now lol.

I dabbled in Illustrator some more today after I'd handed my work in. I did two pieces, Pen Pen with ice, and Pen Pen in bed. I'm pretty proud of them really, just because I'm not used to using illustrator and I think they came out pretty well.

We (me Bob and Hay) just finished a 3 player game of Donkey Konga, the aim of the game was to make as much noise as possible to wake Zoey (Bob's gf). Poor girl was probably going spare!

Oh, I had my fifth driving lesson today! , I think it went well, I managed to stop from making any stupid mistakes, and I even managed to get us home in one piece, YAY!

I have no plans for tomorrow, but I'm really knackered so I'll probably catch up on Z's, and then tweak my work.

I'm listening to Carrie Underwood's version of Last Christmas, on Easter Sunday lol haha. Oh, Avril Lavigne's just come on 'hey hey, you you, I don't like ya' girlfriend' what a cheesy song .

I had my driving lesson last Monday, it was awesome, I've got my next one on Tuesday, wish me luck .

I'm in such a country mood...I've just down loaded loads of Martina McBride and Shania Twain songs, and a Dixie Chicks version of 'Don't Hurry Love', it's actually really good, or maybe I'm bias?

Ah...I have a headache...I wonder why, I'd better go bed but I don't wanna, instead I wanna sit in the dark, with my headphones and keep writing this journal of nonsense .

Oh! I have way too many easter eggs this year lol, it's like JEEEZ, HOW FAT DO YOU WANT ME TO GET?!. Not to worry though, I'm never upset to receive chocolate .

This has been the most pointless journal ever, and I apologise to anyone who's read this and feels cheated, I would if I was you.

I've got an action packed week next week, trampin, working, going out with mates from college, it shall be good, but I still have work to do...hmm...I got a lot done today mind, so I'm on my way

I finished work today, and I texted my dad asking if I could possibly blag a lift home, Sunday service and all. He texted me back saying 'might be a bit tight' cos he was on his way back from Blackpool with Elaine number 1.

Anyway, he texted me back later on saying 'I'm here, normal place with Elaine' which I liked, cos A) Rachey gets a lift, B) I get to meet Elaine.

I got in the car, and I was suprised by how different she looked compared to what I expected her to look. She shook my hand, and we just chatted on the way back to mine, Dad was going to take her home just after. Anyway, we really got along, we clicked, and I'm so happy for my dad to have met someone who is a genuinely nice person. She asked me if I wanted to come drop her off with Dad, and grab something to eat on the way. I went along because I wanted to show her that I have no 'teenage hatred' towards this 'other woman' in my dad's life, and I really did enjoy chatting with her.

Anyway, we left and I told dad how much I liked her and how happy I was that he'd met someone as nice as her, to which he replied' I'm so glad you two like eachother, it's really made me happy' which was nice!

Anyway...ELAINE 2!

Elaine 2, is my soon to be driving tutor. Starting next week I take lessons on Monday 2pm-3pm. I'm really looking forward and hope that I'll be able to drive by next summer, ambitious maybe, but I'd love to be able to go see Sephie, and take her for days out, go and see my grandparents when I want and generally go on good ol days out with my mates. My brother had Elaine when he learnt to drive, he says she can be very strict, but in a good way. so....hmm lol.

Elaine 1 and 2 are totally different people, but I guess that over the next few months i'll see them more and more.

Also! I booked my driving lessons today, they should start next week, oo err, not sure when though either Mon-Wed.

I've drawn shit loads lately, I just sit infront of the t.v. and draw what ever comes into my head, I've slapped em all into one sketchbook so they could be used as ideas for a storyboard brief I've been given at uni, one such page shows a bird and a worm fighting it out...made me laugh anyway.

I bought another 'Bone' comic today, I love this lil guy, so I shall soon escape and read that, then..er....maybe watch Xmen or something, not seen it yet *yikes*
