I've just watched the movie 2012, and I've got to admit that I liked it, despite all the bad word of mouth that was going around before its premier.

SPOILER WARNING:

it was definately a MEGA-disaster movie, since you could say that it included Airplane, Earthquake, Poseidon Adventure, and probably others into it.

When I saw the part about the ships being built in china, I thought that this was actually a modern remake of the old movie "When Worlds Collide". In one scene, I thought it was kinda stupid that they were transporting actual animals to a spaceship (instead of just ova and sperm; much easier to transport on a spaceship).

When I learned that the Arks were actually Arks (i.e., sea going ships), I was pleasantly suprised (at least that made more sense).

I still don't understand how a huge 'neutrino flux' could result in melting the earth's crust (neutrino's hardly interact with normal matter, at least according to the Discovery Channel ).

News reports were mentioning that people were actually asking NASA about "Planet X" colliding with earth, but this wasn't a part of the movie (although I think its one of the 'real life' conspiracy theories out there).

I also liked how they integrated the other real life theory of the deaths of important scientists around the world to cover up the conspiracy.

Finally, I liked the cameo by Woody Harrellson, and "Dr. Phlox" from "Enterprise"

Now, do I believe that the world will actually end in 2012? Hell no! I think just the mayan calander ends there, and they didn't last long enough to make another calandar. ^_^

Still does in a way (although the video is full of 80s quirkiness [a humanoid punching bag signing the lyrics of the song?
).

I'll still be doing images, just maybe not this weekend (somehow Big Boobs take my mind off all my troubles for some reason ).

Well, its less than a week until Halloween as of this date, so I plan on doing as I have done for the past couple of years; doing one Halloween themed image each day (ending Sunday, when I see the Simpson's newest "Treehouse of Horror" ).

As to the update: See my blog for a 'naughty' continuation of the "Clone Warriors" image with Annakin and Ahsoka.

This leads to the "Jedi Musings".

From what I've gathered, it seems that Jedi are prohibited from forming romantic attachments because such attachments could lead to the dark side.

I personally think that's kind of backward; shouldn't forming a strong loving emotional attachment with another person help a Jedi fight the Dark Side?

Now, what Jedi should be taught is how to deal with negative emotions, which all humans at least have (and in Annakin's case, how to deal with loss if it should ever come).

On the flip side of this is how Jedi might handle sexual relatiosn/lustful feelings.

Again, such shouldn't necessarily lead to the Dark Side, but I could just as easily see a Sith Lord focusing on Lust, and perhaps gaining succubus-like Dark Side abilities because of that focus; there was a Sith in the game "Force Unleashed" who was focused on using Fear as a weapon, after all.

Hmmmm... think I'll put that "Darth Lascivious" idea on the back burner for now

Well, back from the convention; and now what my friends and I call "Post-Con Depression" is in full effect (what happens when you realize the geek-filled weekend is over, and you have another whole year until the next one ^_^).

Here is a link to a gallery I made of some of the Hot Fangrrls, as well as some others : [link]

You'll forgive me for replacing my own face and the face of my friend with a "Smiley"; with the content of my blog I don't want to reveal my 'secret identity', or run any risk of getting my friend in trouble by being associated with me

As always, the worst thing about the convention is that they have so much activities scheueled against each other.

I did manage to attend a Leonard Nimoy panel (by getting in line nearly a hour early, and still only got a seat in the middle of the audience). A suprise in the panel was when William Shatner game on stage also to ask a few questions of Nimoy

There were costumes galore, and I atended the primary costume constest (the Masquerade), MCeed by Peter David and George Perez (a comic writer and an artist, the latter probably best known for his extended runs on the Avengers over the years, and the former for his 12 year run on "The Hulk").

On the more 'naughty' side of the convention, there was a costume contest called "DragonCon "After Dark", where the more risque/over the top costumes were displayed (not necessarily showing a lot of skin, but anything considered too extreme for the more 'family friendly' Masquerade).

There was also a late-nite panel called "Dub your own Hentai", where snippets of various hentai animes were shown, and people from the audience were picked to provide their own voice-overs (quite hilarious; one person did a perfect "Hank Hill" for example ). It was also, strangely enough, quite popular; they held two sessions because of the demand (only one was schedueled).

All in all I enjoyed the convention, although I don't think I will attend next year (it was fun, but not as fun as the first ones I attended years ago, so maybe its time to find another convention to attend next year).

Oh well; still have another 3 days off before desending into the depths of Hell again for another year (*sigh*)

=================================================================
=================================================================
=================================================================

Later today (Fri, Sept 4th), myself and a friend will be heading off to DragonCon, a sci-fi/fantasy/comic convention held yearly in Atlanta, GA: [link]

For most of the past 10 years or so I have attended this convention, although Fate (and funds ) has worked against me and kept me from going for the past couple of years.

Even this year its partially working against me (I would like to attend the entire weekend, but can only afford Saturday and Sunday). That's okay, though; most of the really good stuff occurs on Saturday anyway (many people only purchase tickets for that day).

I was able to borrow some really good cameras from a tech friend of mine, so I should be able to take some good images of all the hot Fangrrrls there (I'll post a couple here, and maybe nake a gallery elsewhere, although I won't be putting them up on my blog).

Ahhhhh.... an entire week of being away from my little Circle of Hell otherwise known as my job, and an entire weekend of being around "My People" (fellow Geeks ).

This is going to So Rock!!!! ^_^

Well, I decided I'm going to take another World of Warcrack... ummm, I mean Warcraft , break, and this time I mean it Dangit!

last time I had the game for 3 months, and only payed attention to it enough to get one character to 5th level, I think (kept getting distracted by Poser).

Well, this time I'm going to stick with it until my 2 months run out. Unfortunately, that means that I'm going to be playing mostly on my days off, and that was usually the time I spent on another unproductive activity: Poser

I may do an image if a idea strikes me though, but for the next couple of months I won't be as productive as I have been lately.

Of course you can probably guess that when I finish, I'll probably be focusing on WoW oriented images for awhile (lately I have seen a lot of sexy Dwarven women, but are there any sexy Gnomish ones out there? ).

Well, now to decide what race/class I want to play first (and suprise, I'm not going for the default sexy Night Elf ^_^).

Edit: updates, Updates, UPDATES!!!!!

Arrrrghhh!!!

I may not get to play the game this weekend at all; there seem to be infinite updates to the game, and the current update sayd that it will take more than a day to download! 0_0 (and I've checked and all firewalls are allowing the program to operate, so I don't know why its running so slow).

Oh well, guess I"ll knock out a couple more images before taking a break

Thanks to postings at another forum, I just found me a new favorite Web Comic called Menage a 3: [link]

Here is the description from the site:
"Set in Montreal, the finest bohemian city in North America, Ma3 follows the lives of comic book geek, Gary and his way-sexier-than-he-is roommates in their Montreal tight-as-a-sandwich apartment; where the walls are so thin there are virtually no barriers between their rooms."

I like it for several reasons: The writer has a good sense of humor, he seems to know Fanboys quite well, the artist draws somewhat in the style of the old Archie comics, I like the character Di Di (for obvious reasons ), and Zii herself is such a cute omni-sexual.

Oh, yes, and perhaps I do identify just a little bit with Gary ^_^

Maybe sometime soon I'll try my own versions of Zii and Di Di (although Zii looks a lot like a 'Archie' version of Evolution Rogue to me ).

A couple of other Fanboy centered web comics I like are:
Full Frontal Nerdity: [link]
Dork Tower: [link]

As some of you may know, sometimes when I get an idea in my head I have to finish it out to its end.

Thus was the way with the Sylvan Partners image I did.

As it was based on a short comic by Kevin Taylor featuring a tryst between a Centaur and his himan lover, so do my images.

As such they are of course too hardcore to post here; and I am too chicken to post them at my blog (that happens every now and then , even though I lied on my blog about not doing any more images ^_^ ).

I decided to post them to a gallery elsewhere.

Fair warning, though, it is a series of hardcore images between a Centaur and an Elf, so that may be too 'squick inducing' for some viewers.

h**p://filefap.com/public/viewset/5701

And now for a little rant on my producing these images:

I am not a fan of what some people refer to as 'Beasty' hardcore. However, I am a fan of Fantasy hardcore images.

I do find it kind of strange that I am not repulsed by a Centaur/Elf scene, even though most of the Centaur is a horse

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that horses and horse-type creatures are presented as noble beings (unicorns, pegasus, even Gullever's Traveles' Whynnim).

I can't find myself doing a similar series about any 'lower' animal, such as a wolf (well, werewolf maybe, but that's 90% human; same with the Minotaur series I did earlier).

Edit: Changed gallery to a safer site (no spyware, hopefully)

Well, my hard drive died the inevitable final death yesterday (using a friends system now), but I learned something yesterday that makes my own computer problems trivial.

I learned that a good friend of mine who I had not seen for over a month had passed away in that time.

We were both midnite shifters, and he would usually call me to shoot the bull on sunday mornings (he got off work an hour later than me).

For the past three weeks I hadn't gotten that call; at first I just figured that he went home to visit family. When I called our local comic provider, I learned that he hadn't been in to pick up his comics lately.

I drove down to where he worked his day job (he held down two jobs, when I can barely maintain my one), only to learn that he had passed away in his sleep weeks ago (complications of diabeties).

He was a good friend, and I will miss him. First off he was perhaps one of the only other black "nerd" I knew (Myself being the other). In body type and personality we were a lot like Laurel and Hardy, or Skipper and Gilligan

I feel bad because lately, because of work/financial/life problems, I had been pretty much cloistered in my room, sitting in front of my computer making CGI boobies.

I could/should have gotten up and drove down to visit him more often, but I felt too physically tired/bummed out.

When last I spoke with him we had made plans to go see Iron Man together. I've contacted others who knew him and we will all go to see it, and buy an extra ticket for our missing member, and send that ticket (along with a picture of us in front of the Iron Man poster) to his family.

So, due to my hard drive, and this hard hitting news, it will probably be a couple of weeks before you hear from me again (guess its time to reflect on my own life without the constant distraction of making CG titties in the way .

R.I.P., Bob, from one "Nigguh Nerd" to another (I'm allowed to use the N-Word ^_^).

I just wanted to give an apology to those I promised to do a request for over the past week.

You see, I have one HUGE problem, I'm a procrastinator

Outside of the few days I spent visiting some friends, I spent most of my vacation sitting in front of the TV and Monitor doing renders

One day I'll get to those requests, but I guess that's the reason I don't do commissions (I would have some very irate 'customers' at the rate I do stuff ).

I haven't been at DA that long; do they just go through user gallerys once each year to clean out the 'naughty' stuff, or did I have a viewer who find my work 'offensive' and reported me?
Oh, well, I haven't been banned yet, so I guess I'll have to be more careful in the future.

To celebrate I took a couple of extra days off work to give myself a long weekend.

Of course I've been wasting most of that time doing renders (although I plan on getting out for my last two days off).

I also treated myself and got another texture for Victoria 3; don't know when I'll use 'her', but its always nice to have another member in my 'harem'

I just wanted to give a big 'Thanks' to everyone who has made my poor 'art' one of their faves

Also, I want to explain why I don't have many faves of my own.

I guess I come from the old school of getting images off the net: when I find one I like, I immediately save it to my hard drive. In the 'olden days' I may not have had net connection for months at a time, so keeping an image on my drive was the only way I could view it in the future.

The only faves I have are a couple of commissions I had made by Drew Gardner (I also had one done by Karl Kenderlein, but its not on his page. You can see it here: [link] ).

I do need to post more comments when I see an image I like by other DA artists, tough.

There has been a recent debate over at Renderotica concerning a set of images that were posted recently, depicting a ' playboy' bunny being hung by the neck.

It started a little flame war about what is appropriate and not to post there (long story short, R'otica had to change its posting guidelines a little while back because of getting a new sponsor, or some such, so images like that were no longer allowed).

They have recently changed their posting policies back to where stuff like that is allowed (and can be filtered out if unwanted), but that has got me seriously thinking about my own content at the site (and my 'blogs' ).

I'm not particularly a fan of rape scenes (the idea of a man forcing himself on a woman is not generally erotic to me). However, I am a tentacle hentai fan; and much of that subject matter does involve the critter forcing itself on a women.

In my 'gallery' there are several images in that theme, particularly the Mind Flayer/Drow pairings.

I realize I had that idea several years ago, and kind of 'exorcised' it from my mind by having some artists draw it for me. I even eventually rendered one myself once I got into poser.
As I check my gallery, though, I see that I have done several images in the same general 'rape' theme.

Now I have to seriously think why I did those images (was it the 'tits for hits' effect? i.e., I did images that I knew would get me a lot of replies?). Am I still in the process of exorcising some demons? :-/

As much as I like tentacle hentai, I may stop doing such images in the future, or at least tweak the subject matter to more willing 'subjects' (anyone else out there heard of the 'Ghastly Comic' page? ^_^: [link]).
