Just a note to say that even though I haven't uploaded any real new art in a while, I'm still here... I log on to dA every day to see everyone's new art and I really enjoy doing that! :aww:

My life is pretty tough right now... I did get a job, which is good, but it's far away and the schedule stinks.  I've been looking for something closer, but am not having much luck with that.  Also, my boyfriend and I broke up.  That's been rough.  I miss him a lot and there's a big part of me that wishes we were still together but I don't think that's going to happen, so I'll just have to get over it.

ANYWAYS I've totally cleared out my backlog of dA stuff that I was super behind on.  Feels so lovely to have zero messages, but also sort of sad that I have no new lovely pieces of art to look at.  So update yo! <3

Further good news: I'm drawing a lot lately.  Comes at a price, though: I moved out of state and am now unemployed.  So... I'm broke.  But I have a lot of time to draw... so it's sort of a tradeoff.

Namely, the two points I want to make are:

1.) I strongly dislike living in a culture where things that are broken are discarded rather than fixed or made into new things;

and

2.) I believe that the tools of artistic creation and expression should be freely available to all.

These two beliefs of mine go together rather nicely, so I'm not sure why I'm having such a hard time writing it up into a neat little package.
