My boyfriend needs some money to pay a few of his bills and I told him that I would try to help him out by offering commissions. I don't expect to make much, but I would maybe like to get $50 or even $25 worth of commissions. If you are interested please read the information and note me with your ideas.

Commission information:
-Payment is upfront via paypal.
-Approval sketches are always given.
-These may take a while to get done because of school, but I will try to work on them as fast as I can. The time it takes me to get these done also depend how detailed you are.
- Please read my commission prices thoroughly before making your decision.
- DO NOT SEND PAYMENT TILL I TELL YOU THE PRICE AND EVERYTHING IS A GO GO!!!!!! This is critical because you may need pay a bit more for certain things like compicated paterns, extra character etc.

So I've decided that commission payment will now be upfront. Just to make sure that I get it, I will always send people links to their sketchs' so they can approve or what-not if they are worried about that part. Also I am open year-round unless stated other wise^^. Also please check out my commission price link, I've added some updates to it if anyone is interested in commissioning me.
On other things my parents have been thinking that they may need to get me a laptop for school this year. So if I do get one I will feel bad asking them to help me pay for the prisma markers, but maybe I could get the colored pencils. So the thing is...

I want to know what you guys think? Do you like my marker pictures or colored pencil?

I think with what ever one I get I will be happy, but my colored pencil skittles arent that great (neither are my marker skittles lol), so yeah. Let me know what you think.

I had to increase the prices a bit to pay for shipping and extra things for art. They went up $2 on every thing. I probably won't increase prices for a while so they are still cheap, cheap, cheap! I will give discounts on certain things and what not.

I haven't been draing much the pase few days because my cousin is here (the one I went to go see graduate) for about 3 weeks. Drawing will be slim but I will start to sketch arts that I owe people and get those finished when I can. I'll be taking a break from my reference for a while too.

Apart from the art I have been playing loads of video games ^^. They are really addicting.. mostly Devil May Cry 4... OMG LOVE!!!! I found 1-3 at Game Stop for like $7.00 Used, I wants them bad. Also I found a Wii Fit for $89 and I am thinking about getting it for Christmas or birthday.. depends. And we bought The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragons and its amazing!! Expect spyro and DMC doodles too!

I'm back from my small vacation! It was nice to see my cousin and family for a while. His graduation was sooo long, freezing, and might I add a hell of a hike!
I didn't get any thing sketched but I will be starting on it this week ^^.

School is officially out for summer!
I am so glad that it is done and now I have more time to focus on art and myself and life. I will basically have 1 month of free time till I start my job. Hopefully this year our crop will be good and I can make some money.

As you can see I added something to the top of my journal for WIPs and what I will work on next. This will be changed when I finish things and whatnot. I will not always let you know so if you are currious just click on my page.

I am also working on a reference for myself ATM. Its comming along pretty good but I just can't find facial markings that I like. I'll keep playing around with it and see what happens.

Some Updates
So there are really only about 2 weeks left of school and I am really excited about haveing a long break. I also am almost done with and pictures that I owe them from a long time ago. I am hopeing that I can get them done within the next two weeks or so. Also a note on the art status page; when you see a strike through the name it meanse that I am working on the picture... not that I am done with it. When your name is no longer on the list then I am done.
I am also wanting some of that recycled cardboard paper, but I dont konw where to find any of it. So if you know any places that sell it, like Michaels or Hobby Lobby, I'd be glad to know ^^.

Xbox 360

I know this has nothing to do with art, but something has come up with my 360. I thought I would share a bit of information because I know some people have or knows someone who has an Xbox 360.

When you have a memory card read the little note thingies they give you. My boyfriend has had a mishap yesterday with it and is totaly depressed about it. If you buy one from ebay (like we did) be sure to look up information about it.

Once you get your 360 try to get an intercooler pretty soon. The one that works the best is the Nyko Intercooler TS (temperature sensing cooling device). You can find it at Wal-mart for about $20 (give or take).

Our new RE5 game is starting to crack in the middle and so is our Halo 3 (really bad). I think the best thing for this is to buy a CD case and store the games in these to prevent further damage to games.

Another thing is to not move your 360 while there is a game inside. I also have mine proped up on a box to prevent over heating and I have it laying horizontal than vertical... this may just be a preference thing, but my bf has told me somethings about the way you have it "laying/standing".

Here is a book list of books that I have and use. I thought I would share these with people incase they were/are looking for certain books for certain things. I don't really know if they will help, but I find them quite useful.

I will have the book title and who its by with a description of what it is about. The ones with the stars are the ones that I like the best. I will update this every time a find another book that could be useful.

1. Drawing Faeries: A Believer's Guide by Christopher Hart- I find this book to be helpful with anatomy and drawing faces. It shows the differences between humans and faeries. Whether or not you are into drawing faeries its still a good reference.

2. Human Anatomy Made Amazingly Easy by Christopher Hart- This book focuse pretty much only on the bones and muscles that affect form, making it simple to create graceful, flowing figures in action or still poses. It helps with perspective of the body, foreshortening, and diminution, and also methods of self-checking proportions. It also showes you the right way to draw hands and shows how to draw faces at angles. This book is the best book that I have found for human anatomy.

3. How to Draw Lifelike Portraits from Photographs by Lee Hammond- She teaches you how to addthe illusion of 3D highlights and shadows to simple shapes using pencil shading and blending. After you learn the basics, you use the same techniques to portray every feature. Even though this is just a blended pencil technique book its still good for referencing and she also has a materials list that may be useful.

4. Freaks! How to Draw Fantastic Fantasy Creatures by Steve Miller- This book is a good book for people who are interested in the Anthro department. Basically it teaches you different techniques you can use, shows you different eyes, ear, feet, etc., it also has a materials list at the end of the book.

5. Draw Real Animals! by Lee Hammond- This book also uses the blended pencil technique and it shows different kinds of eyes, noses, hair/fur, animal textues, intricate patterns, and backgrounds.

6. Drawing Mammals: An Artist's Reference Guide to North American Mammals- This book includes photographs and sketches of the animals. It also includes little notes with the pictures and shows different ages of each mammal.

1.Resident Evil Tote bag- This is going to be a bag that I am making for myself to hold my art supplies. I am practicing on a $1 bag that I've gotten from HT and I may go to Hobby Lobby or some where and buy a better one. The tote bag will feature a Resident Evil theme and will be painted or colored with markers.

I will offer these as commissions some time for $15+ that will include:

1. The bag (painted or colored *depending on the color of bag*) *may include different colors for bags*

2. The original picture colored.

Of course these will have any theme that you want, sketches will be shown for aproval and I will take pictures to post on the interweb!

2.Human Pictures- I am wanting to expirament with drawing humans this summer (not completly leaveing the anthros!). If any one has any good tips or know any good books to use I'd love to know what you think ^^.

3.Cupcake Human/Resident Evil reference- self explanitory.

4.Silent Hill monsters- I will be drawing most or all of the Silent Hill monsters.

5.The Nightmare Before Christmas Playing Cards- just a random something that I thought of.

A Job? 1 Sticker Commission Slot?

Hello every one!
So I was hopeing that this week I could get some art done, but I haven't had the time.
I am thinking that about every three weeks I will be able to load pictures or even sketch some.
Since I have to study for my anatomy tests my art time is very limited.
I am still going to be opening up the 1st of March with limited spots availabe.
I am already goint to take a commission for some stickers right now.
Only one slot; $5 for 1/2 a page and $10 for a full page.

- There are only 9 days left of my break and then I will start school again -.-. And that means 9 days till my birthday... I turn 19, yay-who, not that excited about it. Monday I had a muscle test in anatomy so I haven't been able to sketch anything really. I've gotten some new ideas the past few days and here they are.

1. Sketch Book Commission- One 8x11 sketch book, 176 pgs., $50 payment (can all be full color w/ no extra charge), pictures w/ background- for every 15 pgs. w/ a background +$5, pictures w/ extra characters- for every 20 pgs. w/ more than 2 characters +$5, you choice of sketches, inks, full color (no water color). Examples of what the sketch book looks like will be uploaded later.

2. Stickers- Comming in 2009 - One 8x11 page full of stickers, mixed sizes, custom made just for you ^^, $10.

3. Magnets- Comming in Fall 2009 - more info on this later ^^.

I will be a bit inactive for about 3 weeks due to a major test that will be Oct. 20th.
I am having to learn bones and bone markings by memory so much of my time will be devoted to that. Art will be slow for a long time but I am trying to get sketches done at the least. Most things will probably be done durring Thanksgiving/Christmas break. Sorry for the people who have been waiting for a long time.

Sculpture Info!

This christmas I am going to do a sculpture as a gift for someone and I figured if they come out good I will be selling them for commissions. They will be $30 (that includes the shipping and packaging), + $10 for an extra scuplture, hand painted (any character design, any size!) and the only request is that if it has to be done before a specific date is that you order 6 months to 12 months a head of time. That may seem bad but its not, I willd find the time to work on it when I have time off from school and such. Since I have a month off for x-mas break that is usually a good time to work on it, so they maybe done before you need them depending. If you have any questions ask and I will gladly answere them ^^.

School will be starting on Monday and I am taking some hard classes (anatomy) so my art progress will be slow. I will doodle here and there, post sketches on my photobucket and note people who wanted to see the sketches before the final piece (note me if you would like me to do the same for you).
