I dont know much more than that, but that leaves me working on 2 opensource games at the same time. But it is ironic that I would end up working on both a Rollcage style game, and a Wipeout style game (both being former Psygnosis, now Sony Liverpool titles)

So sooner or later you will start to see high speed hover cars/ Race Pods 3d model renders appearing in my gallery.

It is my intention to get involved wich 3 opensource (or closed source) game development projects at the same time,

hopefully whatever 3rd one I can eventually find or be recruited to will be space related and sci-fi.

I have to build over 200 3D models and scenes to represent the components and layouts of close to 150 telecommunication sites - the Towers, boxes, dishes, electrical layout, DB boxes, manholes and cable modelling... etc etc...

Basically building high resolution/polycount/detailed 3D environments of just about everything they have ... even the power generators... and things that look alot like toasters (oddly enough). Compared to my usual modelling of objects, each item here will take twice as long to build as usual because of the detail request...

THe downside is that my desk is completly covered with Telkom and Ericson blueprints ... very hard to figure out wich order I have to work in, what to model first.. and what do later .


This will let me take a break from the annoying Web Design clients I have to deal with (since none of theme ever seem to know what they want in their sites.)

This will expand my portfolio big time.

I also updated the design ot the #1 Car "SCUD" wich ill render and upload to deviantART.

You can get the Win32 Executable at [link] , look for the GORCX button on the right.

Refere to the goRCX Forum for Linux executables or tarballs.


You will also find the updated scud wich you will need after decompressing the Win32 Release 3 zip file, look under updates\ for the model update RAR to replace the existing car.

The physics are still cheesy but we are working on it. The progress of this little game engine is pretty exiting for the 3 main people building the engine (Me, Soul Slinger, Mac)

On second note. Too much work, too little time. Working my ass off and drinking dangerous amounts of coffee.
