The reason I hate this game is that there's nothing to it. Rules are simple, and your power in the game relies more on your calcuim intake and team politics than actual skill. They spend horrible hours brutalising their flimsy little carcasses to gain an extra 4 meters on a kick, then they go slut themselves around the bars because by the time they get out of the gym their wives have gone to bed and cried themselves to sleep.

I saw the grand final. Well the end of it anyway, and only because my girlfriends parents are fans. The winners go through a long drawn out medal award process, as if a giant golden cup bigger than a minifridge wasnt enough for them. To award these medals, they leash in these poor little afl tykes, god bless em. They've been invited to go up there, hang a medal over a slice of steak in a jersy, shake their hand, and look all bambi eyed for the camera. This one pillock with his shoulder strapped up (it's all the rage this season) takes his medal with a great big Downs Syndrome grin, and throws his fists in the air in a great big masculine show of self importance, completley ignoring the kids outstretched hand. This poor little 6 year old has had his handshake totally phased by a meat pie on national TV. The kid was in tears.

And the worst thing about football is that it is the single greatest icon decieving innocent australians into burrowing their little heads into the game, by using the collective stereotype of the brainless auzzie to trick them into thinking they have nothing better to do, nothing to create, noting to feel good about apart from a womanising beefball running around in short shorts with his other homo-erotic chumblies.

2. I like to thank automatic sliding doors verbally for taking the time and consideration for opening themselves a good meter or so before I actually arrived at the door. It's very sweet of them.

3. Every month I start a new obsession. Ameture roboteering, embroidery, rollerblading... and then I do it to death, so much so that I get bored of it by the time the next month comes around.

4. I eat my meals in exact sections, divided into categories of which foods i like most/least. Then I eat them from least to most.

5. I have a nervous twitch with very precise rules. It involves rubbing my fingers together in geometric patterns. It's confusing at times and extremley frustrating. If you ever approach me and I'm really pissed and messing with my fingers, I've accidentally made a very complex pattern.

All of the patterns consist of these rules.

1. The pattern must be symmetrical only on the y axis. (put your hand flat on the table and draw an imaginary line down the top of your finger. that is the y axis).

2. Any patterns involving lines must follow these rules:
a. The line must be reversed in direction a number of times equal to 2^x where x>1. (i.e. 4, 6, 16)
b. if a mistake is made, the pattern must be copied in it's entirety over the original pattern including the mistake, but in reverse order. (if a number of mistakes are made, this can take a very long time)

3. Any patterns involving circles must abide by these rules:
a. all circle patterns within the main pattern must be identical
b. the circle patterns must cover all 360 degrees, without gaps or overlaping.
c. if a second straight line pattern occurs within the circle, it must reverse direction 4 times, at every interval of 90 degrees from the initial stroke.

And above all, a pattern must NOT spill over onto the fingernail.


6. I sometimes make pancakes in the sandwich toaster.
